I'm here, guys! What went wrong?
So I was watching a video on YouTube that was talking about Bubsy. Then my brain said, "I'll give you $20 if you draw Bubsy." So this is Bubsy the Bobcat, in my own style.
Tumblr media
My brain still owes me $20.

The Standoff!
Tumblr media
On the outskirts of the city, two heroes lock eyes and prepare for battle.
I imagine this as a first meeting between Sketch Tucker and Fox McCloud. Not that I'd see them being foes. Moreso that they're trying to determine whether or not they can trust each other. Cause honestly, I think these guys would make for an awesome team up.
I'm not sure what inspired this. Possibly he thought of Sketch Tucker as a Super Smash Bros. character (as @malamiteltd has created concepts for in the past). Or that I think this would make for a pretty interesting fight scenario. Either way, I decided to roll with it.
This took quite a bit of effort to accomplish. I started this drawing during a live stream back on March 1st, and I ended up abandoning it after I didn't like the way the posing was turning out. Dynamic posing like this is some of the hardest details to pull off. Either way, I'm much happier with the end result.
Oh! And this is actually the first time I've finished a drawing of Fox McCloud since 2012.

What… what is that thing, standing there in the moonlight…?
Tumblr media
Oh. It's just a scruffy fox with an extremely bad case of red eye. –
Back in 2012, I was kind of writing a lot of fan fiction about Malamite Ltd's personal story world, The Utopian Legend. In the story, my fox character falls in love with his fox character, but she denies him on the grounds that he'd have to be "tough" to love her. He asks "how tough?" She says, "werewolf tough". And then? She bites him. … To be fair, he genuinely… literally… asked her to. Because she meant that much to him.
Anyway, he turns into a werewolf and they live happily ever after. For a while, anyway. There's some… bumpiness… that comes with being a newly-formed werewolf.
Tumblr media
I dabbled with the idea of what his werewolf form would look like. I even added longer hair, as was the custom of Utopian werefolk. However… Malamite did a far, far better job. Still, since werewolves seem to be the order of this Halloween, I thought I'd share this old bit of art and the story that went with it.
So, hey. If you hear any howling, tonight… it may well be a lycanthrope on the prowl~
Happy Halloween, everyone!

Short finalé.  Sometimes, they are.
I'm not sure if I'll do more with this idea/world.  It was a fun one-shot, though!
Felicia, Grace, Lucy, and "Darkstalkers" series and related characters and concepts created by Alex Jimenez and © Capcom Co, Ltd. "Furry" Felicia created and conceptualized by Malamite Ltd.

"Hello, everyone!!  Are you ready to have fun?!"
On a brightly-lit stage somewhere, several white-furred cat girls wearing gold outfits stood.  All of them had matching, blue hair in different styles, and they were all of different heights and sizes.  Some wore feminine clothes, such as leotards and heels or cute dresses, while a couple wore full tuxedos.  They'd all taken their poses, readying themselves to entertain the uproarious crowd waving at the edge of the stage.
"I saaaid, are you ready to have fun…?!"     The lead girl held her microphone out to the crowd.  They cheered louder than before.     "Well,"  She smirked.  "If you're not ready to have fun, I guess we can–"     Somehow, they got even louder, practically begging the girls to perform.     "Oh, you do wanna have fun?"  The lead girl said with a big grin.  "Well, then…!"     She rolled backward and stood in the middle of the stage, popping her top hat off with a wave.     "Let's get this party started!!"
Energetic music began to play.  Joseph watched with wide eyes and bristling fur as he saw Felicia and her friends dance, bounce, perform tricks and acrobat feats, and generally have a good time up on that stage.  Even though it was just a video recording of the performance, he could genuinely feel the energy they were pouring into the crowd!  Felicia, in particular, was really giving it her all!     "Holy smokes!" he said as he danced in his seat.  "You weren't kidding!"     The modern-day Felicia laughed.  "I never joke about my fame, honey!"     "And, listen to that crowd!"     They hadn't stopped cheering since the performance started.     "You can hardly hear the song you're singing, they're so loud!"     "Oh, hang on."     The fox blinked, then his ears perked.  Felicia had gotten up and walked over to where the TV sat.  When she cleared her throat, Joseph started to ask what she was doing.  However, she wasn't waiting around for his query.  Instead, she jumped in to sing an impromptu duet… with herself!
"Electrical communication!  Tearing through imagination!  I won't let anyone stand in my waaay…!  Make it sparkle, Mega Action!  Break through the meditation!  Shoot for tomorrow and leave the mundane far behiiiiind…!"
Joseph was absolutely stunned.  To his left, he saw Felicia in her golden outfit and top hat dancing around the stage, keeping the crowd cheering and the energy high.  To his right, he saw the real Felicia dancing and singing to match her screen presence– actually, no!  The real Felicia was harmonizing with her past self and the other girls, singing some words higher and other words lower.  She was pitch-perfect, and the moves she performed looked absolutely amazing.  Even wearing the traditional garments of a nun… that girl had style to spare!
By the time the song had ended, Felicia had worked up a little sweat.  She flicked off the TV and walked over to where Joseph was, plopping down next to him with a satisfied smile.     "Whew… haven't done that in a while!" she said as she removed her hood.  "Maybe it's time I get back in the limelight…  I'm gettin' rusty!"     "Are you kidding me?"     "Am I kitten you?" she echoed in her own playful way.     The girl grinned at her friend… only to tilt her head.     "What?  Do I have something on my… face…?"     Her confidence started to waver as she realized what kind of look Joseph was giving her.  He had been entranced by her moves and her siren's song.  In short…
    He had been starstruck!
"Snap out of it," she nervously laughed, poking his nose with a claw.  "It wasn't that good…  I was pitchy, and–"     "Why'd you quit showbiz, Feli?"     "What?"     She was kind of relieved when she noticed that he'd calmed down.  However, he was still staring and wagging his tail.     "Why'd you quit showbiz?" he repeated as he cocked his head.  "You're so good at it!"     She did her best not to show that she was flattered and just shrugged, noisily blowing a long, dangling bang out of her eyes.     "I got bored," she lied.  "Plus, I could never find the right leading man for this movie idea I had…  It was about this lovely cat girl who meets this ugly beast!  The two fall in love and–"     "What's the real reason?"     "Huh?"     When she noticed that Joseph wasn't buying her excuse, she just sighed and smiled.     "You're a dum-dum, you know that?"     He gave her a funny look, but he didn't seem too bothered, otherwise.     "I stopped singing and dancing 'cause the kids need me, obviously!  Dum-dum…"
"Can I hug you?"     The girl flinched.  "What?"     Joseph leaned back, looking to one side…  He seemed nervous, all-of-a-sudden.     "Can I hug you?" he repeated, sounding slightly shyer.  "I just…  You had it all, Feli.  And you gave it up… to help people like me."     "And people like me!" she corrected with a grin.     "Right, right.  People like us.  Orphans," he clarified.  "That's… I mean… words don't–"     The fox blushed as Felicia leaned toward him.     "C'mere, ya big soft-serve ice cream cone."     And then, she hugged him.  Gently, yet tightly.  He returned the favor and was even rewarded with a little purr… which he also returned.     "You're amazing…"     "Mm… I know," she said in a soft, contented voice.     He debated running his nose along her cheek… until he heard some giggling.
Joseph sat up and Felicia, who had practically crawled into his lap, quickly straightened herself and fixed her robes.  The two then looked to the door… where they could see Don, Holly, and Ralph, barely hiding.  Just how long had they been watching?
"They're gonna get married and have a zillion babies!" Don whispered… though he was speaking loudly enough to where everyone could hear him.     "Quiet, dummy!"     He flinched as Holly thumped his head.  The trio then walked into the room only to be greeted by their favorite "sister".     "Well-well-well!" Felicia said, still grinning.  "I guess you kids heard me singing, huh?"     "Uh-huh!" said Ralph.  "It was really pretty!"     "We love your songs, Sister Felicity!" Don added.     "My favorite is 'I Want You To Know'!" Holly said with a giggle.     As if taking the song title as a request, Felicia started again.
"Before I knew it, I felt this way for the very first time…"     "She's singing it, she's singing it…!"     Holly practically screamed as she hugged Don harder than ever.  It was a much softer song she was singing, but no less powerful.  They all fell under its spell quickly enough.     "For within my heart, I know this feeling rises above them all…"     Felicia spun and pointed at Don, who went wide-eyed.     "Can't tell if I feel happy–"     She turned and pointed at Ralph, whose tail started wagging.     "– can't tell if I feel bad!"     She leaned in, singing directly to an ecstatic Holly.     "So I'll just search un–"     And then… she turned back to Joseph with smoldering eyes and an enticing smile.     "–til I find you!"
As Felicia turned back around and gave a bow, the kids went crazy, clapping and cheering!  Once that was done, she knelt to look at the trio.     "So, where's Lucy and Grace?" she asked.  "Is P.E. over?"     They all looked at each other.  Joseph knew that look well…  He'd used it plenty of times when he was their age.     "We sort of…" one said.     "Skipped out…" another added.     "Because we heard you singing!" the third finished.     The cat woman sighed and shook her head.     "What am I gonna do with you troublemakers?"     She then looked over her shoulder and winked at Joseph… which he didn't understand.     "For cutting class," she said as she stood back up, "you three have to write 'I will not cut class to admire Sister Felicity's beautiful singing voice' one-hundred times on the chalkboard in the teaching room!  Each!"     The mixed trio went wide-eyed and slack-jawed.  They couldn't believe it!
"What?!  Nooooo…!" the pup howled.     "Sister Felicity, please…!" the little, blond kitten cried.     "We don't do it again!  Honest!!" the usually-confident lizard boy promised.     Felicia wouldn't hear of it.     "Go back outside and tell your teachers what you did," she sternly said, pointing to the door.  "You kids'll be lucky if I ever sing for you, again!"     That did it.  That got at least two of them crying.
"D… don't you think you're being a little harsh, Feli?" Joseph asked, a little worried for the poor kids.  "I mean–"     "That's 'Sister Felicity' to you, Mr. Lithius!"     He jerked back, going a little wide-eyed, himself, as Felicia turned on him.     "If you're so worried about them, then you can watch them write their lines!" she said in a scalding tone.     "I– wha–"     She leaned in, giving the fox an extremely unforgiving glare… which immediately softened into an almost pleading look.     "I'd really-really-really appreciate it…!" she whispered just low enough for only him to hear.  "I need to get the kids used to the idea of having you around!"     When she winked a second time… the fox came to a sudden realization.
She was recruiting him as a "volunteer" for the orphanage…
"Uh…"  He paused to gulp.  "Y… yeah, I'll do that."     "You'll do that, what, Mr. Lithius?"     He tensed.  The stern tone had returned to her voice and she was glaring, again.     "I'll watch the children write their lines, Sister Felicity, ma'am!"     Even if she was just "acting"… it was still pretty convincing.  Luckily, hearing him say lessened her "anger" and she stood up straight before looking at the kids, again.     "Go finish your class," she told them.  "And, tell your teachers what you did!"     "Y-yes, ma'am," Ralph said as he escorted the disheartened children outside.
"You've gotta be strong with children…  Otherwise, they walk all over you!"
Once the three kids were well out of hearing range, Felicia turned back around and brightly smiled at Joseph.     "You're such a sweetheart!" she said, pinching his cheek.  "Offering to help with the kids, like that…  Gosh, you might be a keeper, after all!"     He rubbed his cheek as she giggled at him.  That wasn't what happened, at all.  Still… if it got her to like him more, he was all for it.     Maybe I can even get Holly to chill out… he thought as an added bonus.
The rest of the day went by fairly quickly.  Felicia, Grace, and Lucy worked like a well-oiled machine to help the kids learn and grow, and the trio even played games and read books to them, as older siblings or parents might.  Joseph did get the occasional question thrown his way…  "Are you here to adopt me?"  "Are you dating Sister Felicity?"  "Can you open my juice box, please?"  Oddly enough, he kind of fell into the role of being an unofficial helper pretty naturally!  He'd never really been fond of kids, but the ones at Felicity House were relatively well-behaved.  Well… most of them.
The fox curiously watched as Grace used her warm personality to diffuse a situation between two older boys.  Seemingly, one had stolen the other one's video game.  It ended with them agreeing to share the toy…but if Joseph knew kids, he figured they'd be back to fighting before the sun went down.  He also watched Felicia break up a few smaller disputes and teasing sessions.  It was nothing he hadn't seen or lived through, himself, but it was kind of nice to see those two trying to keep civility.  Too bad the third cat woman wasn't quite as mature…     Late in the day, the kids asked Lucy if she'd play Kickball with them.  She winked at him before telling the kids she'd take them on all by herself.  True to her word, she ran the bases faster than anyone he'd ever seen, kicked some balls clear into the forest behind the playing field numerous times – though she promised to retrieve them, later – and of course… she showed no mercy when tagging the kids out on their turn.  Those muscles of hers weren't just for show!  Unfortunately, because she was so focused on winning, two children ended up in the infirmary with bruises.  Even so, she considered it a victory.  As she strutted by Joseph, her tail caressed his cheek and flicked his nose, just like earlier.  He was really starting to dislike that woman…
The sun seemed to set early, that spring day, and before Joseph knew it, it was time to put the little ones to bed.  Despite Lucy's teasing much easier, the kids weren't that hard to wrangle, though many of them wanted a bedtime story or something to drink before bed.  He never had a chance to argue before Felicia happily handed over a storybook and had him read one of their favorite stories.
"And they all lived happily ever after…"
The fox looked on in surprise.  He'd read the book using voices that he was sure would be annoying, but at the end of the night, he had no trouble putting the quintet of kids in that room to sleep.  He could hear Grace and Lucy doing much the same with the other rooms on the second floor, telling stories more suitable for the older and oldest children.  It was kind of sweet.
"You did a good job, today."     Once all the children were in bed, Felicia took Joseph aside in the downstairs living room and spoke with him, privately.  He was a little surprised she was being so positive…     "All I did was make sure that trio did their lines and read a book to the youngest…"     "And," Felicia added, "you played with everyone, and kept an eye out, made sure no one got into any trouble or got lost, and you made things around here a little easier for everyone!"     The fox flustered and blushed.  "I mean… I didn't do all that…" he nervously told her.     "You sure did, Joe!" she countered.  "And, I think that deserves a reward."
Joseph blinked.  In the dim lamplight, she could see Felicia's half-closed eyes giving him a soft, warm look.  Her mouth was curled into a curious sort of smile, and he even noticed that she'd tightened her grip in his hands.  He quickly realized what kind of "reward" she had in mind… and turned away, much to her surprise.
"I know you're not a sworn-in nun, Felicia," he began to explain, "but I…  I wouldn't feel right, kissing a girl wearing what you're wearing."     "I could take it off?"     He blushed, drawing a soft giggle from the lady.     "What are you even wearing under there?" he suddenly found himself asking.     "You wanna see?" she answered.  He knew she was just egging him on, but…     "Yeah."     He called her bluff.     Felicia rolled her eyes and grinned.  Then, she stood up from the couch and spun around, flicking her robe and habit off with a flourish!  Underneath that, she was wearing… exactly the same outfit she'd had on, earlier: a blue T-shirt and stonewashed jeans.
"Disappointed?" she asked as she folded her holy garments.     "Not at all," Joseph answered with a smile.  "I think you look nice in that outfit."     "You're sweet, but you don't need to flatter me."     She sat back down after setting the outfit aside, then she took his hands back into hers.     "I already like you, Joe!"  He started to blush when she added… "You're really good with the kids!  They seem to like you, too!"     "Oh.  Oh…"     She tilted her head.  Had that disappointed him, too?     "So, you like me because I'm really helpful?" he asked, feeling somewhat dejected.     Yep.  It was exactly what she thought…
"Myah!"     The fox jolted.  Without warning, Felicia had leaned in and kissed his cheek.     "What was–"     "That was for being so helpful, today!" she told him with a smile.  "I hope you'll come back, again!"     "Oh.  Um…  I–!!"     And then… she leaned in and smooched him on the lips.     "And, that…" she purred with half-closed eyes, "was because I like you."     When she rubbed her eye against his cheek, he nearly had a heart attack.     "And nyow that I got my claws in ya, fluffy li'l fox… I'm never lettin' go."     He swallowed hard, but he smiled.  "I… I'd like that."
The two spent a few more minutes just enjoying each other's company before Joseph took his leave.  He promised he'd be back… for the kids… and for her, the next day he had off.  She was sad to see him go, but thrilled she'd made such a good friend… and potential boyfriend, too!
And that's the story of how Joseph started dating a dancing "nun".

I enjoyed spending time with you today mahal. I've been struggling lately with balancing my time. Di ko alam kung papaano ididivide yung oras ko for us and for other things. I tried so hard these past weeks to the point na sarili ko naman yung na neglect ko. Kaya I'm sorry if we didn't get to spend much time lately. I'm sorry kung ang daming i've fallen asleep moments. Ang daming lasing magtype moments. All those moments are me trying to make time and give time. Ikaw yung isa sa top most priority ko when I divide my time. Still, I feel guilty and sorry for every time na pagod ako. I'm trying to make ways for us to have our time. It may only be for a few hours or even for a few minutes in our everyday, but I swear to you that's all of me. That's me trying. The thought of you keeps ne going. At never rason yun.

Fra4, Nominik, Y(0)
hail to our glorious monarch.
As of current, we have little news to report. The war seems to be slowing down and any momentum that we did have has grinded to a swift halt. We were able to close the necessary pockets of enemy troops behind our lines, but in doing so we wasted valuable time, time we could have been spent trying to aid the uprising created by our partisan allies. That uprising was swiftly put down, with partisan’s spy saying that it was a massacre tantamount to absolute obliteration. Even those who weren't openly supportive of the partisans and even criticise them were shot down. We could use this for our advantage by making sure that everyone throughout the empire knows, and alongside that, we can make sure that everyone in the realms of our foes know the absolute despicability of their governments, which will allow us to turn the tide of war by making sure that the common populace of our enemies believes that they are fighting the wrong fight, and if they tried to suppress this information, then once the people finally find out the truth, it would just create a massive rift between the trust in the state and the people.
The Malamites have made a request of us. Maybe it was a sense of jealousy, or a sense that they needed their own national identity as well, but just as we refer to the Norovites as the Partisans, the Malamites wished to be referred to as the black arrow, or even the black sword. Why they feel the need to distinguish themselves is beyond my understanding, but I see that they feel as if they are being left out by being referred to as by their political designations unlike us monarchists who frequently referred to ourselves as the Crown’s Guard, and the Norovites who referred to themselves as the Partisans. Still, according to Malamite legend, the reason they wish to be referred to as the black sword or the black arrow is because the weapon that killed the founder of their political movement was dipped in black paint that was most likely poisonous. They called upon the imagery of the death of their founder to exemplify how fanatic they truly are. In all truth, the signature colour of the Svinites is red, and the signature colour of the partisans is red as well, so if we refer to both as the Reds, then we're not going to know who were trying to shoot that day. That's why we have made it so that they can adopt their own name, and they've adopted the name of Partisans, so we respect that decision not because we have respect for those political degenerates, but instead because it makes it easier on us, so we know who we are trying to kill and who we’re letting live for now.
That was this week’s report, Long live the monarch.

first seconds are superb. grainy is godly plus fan talaga ako ng saturated and underexposed shots.
water is the universal archetype for cleansing and survival. also, it reminds us that anything is soluble kaya even the mightiest, the bravest ones cling to it. all of us are human.
yung reference ng religion is done so well. is religion a burden or is it a road to salvation. kahit ano pa man, two things remain constant. one: religion brings people together. two: religion tears people apart.
names. lahat ng tao ay hinahatulan ng base lamang sa pangalan. hindi na importante kung totoo o hindi ang hatol sa’yo. ganun talaga. human nature e. or is it human’s wicked ways?
poetry is sooo good when spoken in Filipino. nakaka-in love kahit nakaka-heartbreak na nung sinasabi ni Rio Locsin.
It can wait. LOL. It is our blessing and our curse. malamit, eto ‘yung sagot ko sa tanong na bakit tila wala tayong national identity. We identify with our intimate connections and in a way, lamang tayo sa ibang lahi doon. We are rooted to our families na nagkakataon, nadadamay ‘yung community. ibang usapan syempre kapag nagkagulo na. labo-labo na. balik lahat sa pagiging loyal sa pamilya. hamuna ang bayan. as i said, it can wait. it can die. but family ties live on. FUCK.
music and arts bring flavor to our way of life. and our music and arts are super duper rooted on the earth. daig ang avatar sa subtext. charot. sa totoo lang, sobrang puro talaga ng kultura natin kaso natabunan lang ng mga conquistadores. kaya nagmukhang hindi progressive yung way of life natin.
very powerful way to put a spin to trapo. hahahaha. nakakaloka at nakakalungkot din. yung line na “ngayon, mapapagsilbihan na tayo ni congressman” and pertaining to the tarp ng trapo is a shove in the ass. so hard. so deep. :D
divorce is still a big, big bug in our society. kahit sa makakaliwang mundo. NKKLK. am i for divorce? i say i pro-choice. syempre, nakakagago lang din naman yung ideya ng divorce but all people commit sins in all forms, at all times. marriage these days are usually done for convience. sumubok. nagkamali. nauntog. natauhan. gustong magbagong buhay. i firmly believe that in the same manner that love is a choice. accepting that something is not meant all the while or hindi na talaga is a choice as well. and not having the divorce card fucks up the system even more.
no matter how fucked up things get, filipinos always have the “good morning” mindset.
‘yung katiwalian, may dahilan lagi ‘yan. marangal man o hindi, ang hindi matatanggi ay lahat may own version of their truths and their fallacies.
money --is it really the root of all evil? yes and no and maybe so. money makes a social construct called order. it enables people to move their asses and get shit done --bahala na lang kung paano nila tatakadahin yun.
death --is it really the ultimate penalty to the gravest sins of humans? i say the most mournful situations that humans can be in is having to be left behind by those they love the most. AND/OR being stuck with people they most hate but choose to live with it.
HAYYYY. oh, to be a mom in this material, martial and martian world is fucked. speaking of which, ang laban ng mga ina, yan ang talbog sa himagsikan levels ng mga chauvinists at pa-victim na babae, lalaki, atbp.
‘yung krus ni rio locsin ang tinde rin. nakakatawid talaga ang mga doble kara. play safe pa rin talaga ang magtatawid sa mga tao sa Pinas na gustong gumawa ng pagbabago pero gustong makaiwas sa pagiging casualty.
‘yung pagpapatago ng pangalan ng mga namatay... OH MY and UMAYYYY! ang powerful din. :(
“mahirap magisip ng gutom, sister” --’yun pa rin ang solid truth ng arawan ang kita at mas matindi pa sa isang kahig, isang tuka. as i am typing this, grabe ‘yung pagka-pierce ng heart ko sa ideya ng “less than isang kahig, isang tuka”. maraming diskusyon ukol sa mga makakaliwa. may tama. may mali. may mema.
US visa and US ticket. JUSQ. ang tindeeee. :( and the price you pay to get it. the American dream and how Filipinos are given the choice to go big or stay home. Or is it really the case? grabe lang how having big dreams can make people say no to their conscience. again, ganun talaga.
“alam mong mali ‘yung ginagawa mo pero ginagawa mo pa rin. mahirap. para kang nasisiraan ng isip.” YOWNNNNNEMMENNN.
“patawarin n’yo ko... nangarap lang ako...ng normal ng buhay...para sa anak ko...malayo sa digmaan.” SHETTTT.
ang hele ng nanay never fails even the most shaken soul to sleep. comfort zone siya even in the worst war zones, literally and figuratively.
OHMYYYY. UMAY.
tapos ending, mass. LOL. nag-officiate pa madre. WILD. ginalingan. VERY GOOD. VERY LOUD. VERY PROUD. LOVE. PAK. ganern. more of this pa.
Tapos may paulan. Tigang na lupa, diligan mo ng pag-asa. Or kahit pahupain mo lang ang sakit.
open-ended gaming!!! I love, love, love.

Did you know February 6 is Mewtwo's Birthday? And it's also Raichu Day? There was some discussion with a few friends regarding how to celebrate both occasions in one picture. I brewed up this idea for them, and eventually said if they weren't gonna do it, I probably would. So we've both been working on the same concept, going two slightly different directions.
It turned out alright, I think.

Lead the Teijru Reference Guide ver 1.0
Tumblr media
Using some of the techniques I came up with to put together a reference guide for Sketch Tucker last year, I put together a reference guide for Lead, my Teijru alien character.
This was done in collaboration with @malamiteltd in order to make sure that I had a the little facts correct around this drawing. It's a bit of information overload, I know. But I've commissioned and requested other artists to draw Lead, and there's times I can tell they've found him to be a bit challenging. My hope was to try and create something that would help whoever is drawing Lead, or other Teijru character in general, have a better understanding of how their anatomy works.
As shown in the title of this submission, I may be making edits to this if I discover any changes need to be made.

Tumblr media
Here's a quick image I put together of what Lead's traditional Khejian outfit looks like. His name is written in Khejian script on the shirt. It's not exactly an outfit he's seen wearing often, so it's not necessarily something I feel needs to be included on the reference guide.

Joseph Dates a Dancing Nun (ft. Felicia), Ch. II
Chapter 2 of "Joseph Dates a Dancing Nun," a cross-canon fan fiction story.
Joseph meets the kids of Felicity House… and its colorful workers!
Word count: 4,024 – Character count: 23,489 Drafted: March 20th to March 21st, 2021 –
I liked working with what little information there was about Grace and Lucy.  I probably went overboard, though.  I often do…
Felicia, Grace, Lucy, and "Darkstalkers" series and related characters and concepts created by Alex Jimenez and © Capcom Co, Ltd. "Furry" Felicia created and conceptualized by Malamite Ltd.
[ ← Prev. Chapter | Next Chapter → ]
The duo stood at the front of a lot that rested behind a large, steel gate.  The gate, itself, wasn't particularly interesting.  It was, however, stopped on either side by concrete posts which had cat heads on them.  Joseph found that to be a cute feature, but he looked on, admiring the actual buildings there-in.
Behind the open gateway sat a small, white building with a brick-colored, tapered roof.  Joseph could see a stained-glass window at the top and a rounded set of double-doors beneath that, resting atop a small set of stairs.  He recognized the place as a chapel of some sort… or figured it had to be, considering what was behind it.     To the back and left of the chapel sat a building that was much more elaborate and elegant than the first.  It had several tiers with arches and steeples, as well as a tall tower where a massive bell hung.  It was quite obviously a cathedral… but it raised a question in his mind.  If Felicia was running an orphanage, why did she need that?  Why did she need the chapel, either, come to think of it?
"This is your orphanage?"     The fox looked at Felicia.  She was proudly looking the place over and sipping her minty, chocolatey beverage.     "Isn't it cool?" she said after a long drink.  "Sister Rosey left it to me!  Of course…"     The cat grinned from-ear-to-ear.     "I don't think she expected me to turn her run-down little chapel into something so grand!  But, that's me!  Felicia, Shining Star of the Stage, doesn't do anything small!"     "I see."     Joseph hummed…     "Where's the 'orphanage' part of your orphanage, though?"     The girl tilted her head.  Then, as she gestured to the right…     "Oh."     The fox noticed the small, two-story building that sat over there.  It wasn't quite as fancy as the chapel or cathedral – it hardly needed to be.  It was just your standard, two-story building with a bunch of windows in its walls and a couple of doors.     "C'mon, c'mon!" Felicia meowed as she ran inside the grounds.  "Meet the kids!"     "Meet the wha– oh, right."  Joseph laughed.  "Orphanage."     He followed shortly after.
Joseph found himself surprised by the sheer size of the land Felicia owned.  On top of having a chapel, a cathedral, and lodgings, it also had a large playground area complete with rides, toys, and activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.  There was also a baseball field, a soccer pitch, and a couple of basketball courts.  It was almost like Felicia was running a tiny school or an elaborate daycare center with its own private park…
    "Sister Felicity, Sister Felicity!"
The fox blinked, his ears perking.  A trio of kids had exited the two-story building and come running out to meet Felicia.  She happily knelt to give them all a big hug, the four of them laughing and smiling.  It was pretty adorable.
"We missed you, Sister!" a small, brown-furred puppy boy told her.     "Did you bring us anything?" a plucky lizard boy wearing a backward cap asked.     "Sister Felicity," a little blond cat girl in a red dress said.  "Who's that stranger?"     All eyes turned toward Joseph.     "Is he here to play with us?"     "Is he here to adopt us?!"     "We should get the others!!"     "We're gonna get a daddy!  Yaaay!!"     Joseph was a little overwhelmed by the speculation.  Honestly, he wasn't much of a fan of kids, but even he had to admit that they were kind of cute, what with all their positive energy and optimism.  He almost didn't want to tell any of them he was just there to visit.  Well… he was actually there because Felicia dragged him here, but still.     "Calm down, everyone," Felicia said in a soft, motherly tone.  "Mr. Lithius isn't here to adopt anyone–"     There was a collective "aaaww" amongst the trio.     "– but I'm sure he'll be happy to play with you all!"     Followed by another collective "yaaay"!
Joseph found himself inundated with questions as he followed Felicia into the big building to the right.  It seemed like there was no end to those kids' curiosity!     "How old are you?" one asked.     "I'm twenty-fi–"     "Can I have a sip of your drink?" the other boy interrupted.     "Uh… ask Sister Feli–"     "Are you and Sister Felicity dating?" the girl of the group asked with a keen interest.     "I… uh…"     "I bet he's just here to smooch the sister!"     "You dum-dum," the second boy said, bumping the first on the noggin.  "Sisters aren't allowed to smooch!"     "Are too!" he countered.  "Sister Felicity smooches people all-the-time!"     "What?!  Nuh-uh, you're making that up!"     "Yeah-huh, she does!  I saw her smooch this scary-looking wolf, last week… on the lips!"     Joseph mentally groaned as he sipped his drink.  He didn't need to hear that…
"Just ignore them, Mr. Lithius."  The blond girl offered a friendly smile.  "Sister Felicity loves you!"     The fox uncomfortably shifted.     "Sister Felicity loves everyone!" she added, which made him relax.     "Oh.  I s–"     "On the lips!"     The reptilian loudmouth puckered his lips and made smooching sounds at the girl.  She laughed, but ultimately thumped him as she hid behind Joseph.
    "Children.  Children?"
Just as the trio of troublemakers started to get rowdy, a call from the "sister" got their collective attention.
"Come inside, children," Felicia said with a bright smile.  "I'll sing you a song!"     "A looove song?"     Once again, the lizard boy made a face at the girl, fluttering his eyelashes.  She giggled and gently slapped his funny face in response.     "Maybe!" was Felicia's response.  "Come on and we'll see!"     "Okay!"     The second child looked to the others.     "Last one in's a rotten egg!"     "Hey, I like eggs!"     "You are an egg, Ralph!  C'mon!"     Ralph and the other one ran off, leaving the girl in the dust.  At least, that's what it seemed like, at first.  When Joseph looked down at his side, he noticed that the girl was staring…     "Aren't you… I mean, don't you wanna race your friends?"     "You never answered my question," she said in a short tone.  "Are you dating the sister?"     He flinched, blinking.  Straight to the point, this one… he thought.     "Yes," he said after a couple of seconds.  "We're on a date right now, in fact.  This is our first one and, hopefully, not our last?"     For some reason, that didn't seem to set well with the little girl.
"Sister Felicity deserves the best," she said, her tone turning tough.  "You look okay… but I think she can do better."     "Are you kidding me?" he said before he could stop himself.     "Prove me wrong, Mr. Lithius."  She offered a friendly smile as she told him, "Make Sister Felicity as happy as she makes us!"     "I mean… I'll try?"     He blinked as she randomly hugged him from the side.     "I know you will.  You have kind eyes."     As she stood back, she gave him a stern look.     "But, you have the face of a naughty boy.  I hope you're not naughty.  Or else…"     "Holly!  Ya comin'?"     She turned toward the house.  The lizard kid had come back to the door in search of her.     "Coming, Don!" she called with a wave.     When he went back inside, she turned back to Joseph.     "I've got my eyes on you," she warned.  "Be sweet to Sister Felicity.  She deserves it."
Joseph rubbed the back of his head as Holly walked backward toward the house.  She gestured to her eyes, then to his, with two fingers.  There was an uncomfortable amount of lingering to her pace, but eventually, she ran over to the house, leaving him to catch up.  He just wasn't sure if he still wanted to…  Even if she was a little girl, Holly had really intimidated him.
    "Joe?  Hey, Joe!  C'mon, slowpoke!"
A call from Felicia snapped the fox out of his daze.  Still, he was slow to walk over to the house.  There might be another "Holly" somewhere in those walls…
"What kept ya?"     Felicia played with his bangs, offering a smile.  Then, she noticed something was off…     "You okay?" she asked.     "Yeah.  I–"     "Did Holly give you the stink-eye?"     "What?"     That got his attention.     "Oh, honey… Holly loves messing with my dates!" the cat girl said with a laugh.  "Her favorite thing to do is make try and scare 'em off!  Looks like it didn't work on you, though!"     She nudged him with a grin.     "You're pretty brave, standing up to a little girl, like that!"     "I– I barely said two words," he confessed.  "And, she is kind of scary…"     "Aww, did the eight-year-old girl bully you?"     He squeaked as she pulled his head down to her chest and started petting his ears.     "It's okay, fluffy fox!  Sister Felicity will pet you aaall better!" she said with mock concern.  "Poor baaaby…!"     "Get– get off!"     When he wrenched his head out of her grasp, she just grinned and snickered.     "C'mon, tough guy," she said as she waved for him to follow.     Not knowing what else to do, he did exactly that.
The interior of the house was, surprisingly, just what Joseph had expected.  It was a pretty standard place with nice, shiny, wood floors and walls coated with dirty-repelling, white paint.  He could see a nice staircase leading to the second floor.  It had a very clean, dark-brown banister attached to it.  As he'd also expected, there were one-or-two toys left lying around on the ground floor, but nothing huge – just a doll and a whoopee cushion.  Felicia, apparently, ran a pretty clean house.  Just as Joseph started to wonder how she managed all by herself…     "Grace!  Lucy!  I'm back!"     He got his answer.  She didn't.
Another white-furred cat woman wandered in from the adjacent room.  Much like Felicia, she was cute, but she looked a little sterner.  Rather than leave her hair loose, she wore it in a large, poofy ponytail and had sharp, pointy bangs hanging over her left eye.  She walked in wearing a grey T-shirt and tight, navy-colored jeans with some holes in them.     "Who's this?" she asked the fox with a slight Southern accent.     "Grace," Felicia said with a smile, "this is Joe.  He's my date!"     As Grace looked Joseph over, he tensed a little.  Her purple eyes were really taking in every inch of his form…
"Cute!"     Unexpectedly, the girl walked right over and gave him a hearty hug!  All that "toughness" Joseph had expected just… vanished!     "I like him!" she exclaimed, squeezing the air out of him.  "He's fluffy!"     "It takes more than 'fluffy' to make a good boyfriend, Gracie."
Joseph's ears flicked and his attention turned to the stairs.  Walking down them was a third girl who looked like she could be Felicia and Grace's triplet.  She had a red bandanna around her head and a sports drink bottle in one hand.  Her body was toned, even under her fur, and she obviously wasn't afraid of showing it off, considering her outfit consisted of a belly-baring, red tank top with maroon bike shorts.
"Take a picture," the girl said as she walked by Joseph.  "It'll last longer."     "Lucy!"  Felicia frowned.  "Be nice!"     "I just call 'em as I see 'em, Leese," she told Felicia with a shrug.     "Sorry," Joseph groaned, still in Grace's embrace.  "It's just…"     "Look, if you see something you like," she said, cutting him off, "I'm not interested."     She smirked at him.     "Buy me dinner.  Then, we'll talk."     The fox blanched.  "I'm… sorry?"     "You sure are," she commented, "but Leese likes you, so you can't be all bad."     Lucy let her tail brush against the fox's face as she walked past the trio.     "It's P.E. time.  Corral the ankle-biters and herd 'em out the back, would'ja?"     She paused at the door, looking back at Joseph over her shoulder.     "I need to warm up…  Wanna watch, fox boy?"     Joseph blushed fairly hard as Lucy easily brought a leg up and over her head.  Man, she was flexible…!  Felicia, however, wasn't having it.     "Stop trying to steal my boyfriend!" she shouted at the sporty girl.     Grace dropped Joseph as the two did a double-take at Felicia.     "He's your what?!" she asked with wide eyes.     "I'm your what?!" he asked from his seat on the floor.     As Felicia covered her mouth and blushed, Lucy just grinned in triumph.     "My work here is done.  Laaaters."     And with that thought, she lowered her leg and jogged away and out of sight.
"I– I didn't mean it!"     Felicia completely lost her composure as she turned back to Joseph.  She looked genuinely distressed!     "You're not my boyfriend!" she told him.  "He's not my boyfriend!"     She looked at Grace with a grimace.  It was pretty clear she didn't believe Felicia, though.     "One date and y'all already swept off her feet!"     She picked the fox up and pulled him into another big hug.     "You must be somethin' mighty fine!  Our Felicia's pretty picky 'bout her beaus!"     The situation seemed to be spinning wildly out-of-control.  Grace was absolutely convinced that Joseph and Felicia were an item!
Felicia angrily meowed, "He's nyot my boyfriend…!"     "I– I'm not her boyfriend!" Joseph echoed.     "Aww, no need to be shy, guys!"     She set Joseph back down and brightly smiled at the two.     "Sometimes, love sneaks up 'n bites ya good!"     When she made a few biting noises, Joseph just looked away while Felicia put her face into her hands and shook her head.     "Why, if everything goes well 'nuff," she continued, "we may even get to use that nice chapel for somethin' other than congregation!"     "Will you listen to me!" Felicia half-shouted.     "Oh, nuts!  What am I doin', standin' here jawin'?"     Grace looked between the pair.     "I'm s'posed to help Lucy on the soccer pitch!  S'cuse me!"     They were both kind of relieved when Grace made her way out the front door… but they both cringed as she paused to look back with a cheerful, proud sort of smile.  She was genuinely really happy for them!  The only problem was…     "You're nyot my boyfriend!!"
Joseph rubbed his forehead as Felicia's frustration boiled over onto him.  She immediately covered her mouth, again, and offered an apologetic look for yelling at him, but it wasn't necessary.  He felt just as frustrated as she did.     "Does this happen often?" he asked as she calmed.  "Does Lucy do this to all your dates?"     "Dates, male friends…" she sighed.  "Sometimes, she even teases the kids and says I wanna marry 'em when they get older…!"     "Do you?"     She looked his way, ears perked.  "What?"     Joseph gestured with a hand as he asked, "Do you want to marry one of the kids when they get older?"     The death-glare he got for his bad joke was well-deserved and he knew it.     "S-sorry…  I get joke-y when I'm uncomfortable…  Suffice to say…"     He rubbed his neck and throat.     "Lucy did her job."     "Why'd you have to stare, like that…?"     "Wh– huh?"     When Joseph looked back over at Felicia, he noticed that she looked… upset?  Her ears were folded and her tail was hanging low.  She was also hugging herself kind of hard.     "You shouldn't have encouraged her, Joe!" she told him with a frown.  "Stupid!"     He was a little stunned by her hostile attitude, but he quietly answered, "I… I didn't?"     "You did!  By staring!" she countered.     "Wh… I… how was I supposed to know that?" he sputtered in his defense.     When she didn't answer, he just went back to looking the other way.  She was making him feel like he really did do something wrong…
"Hey."     Felicia looked up from staring at the floor.  When she saw Joseph giving her a serious look, she almost turned away… but ultimately didn't.     "I like you," he told her.  "Of your sisters, I like you most of all."     She brushed one of her cyan-colored strands of hair to one side, staying quiet.     "Grace is really nice.  She's very sweet and not afraid to be, um… affectionate.  Lucy, though…  I… think I know what kind of girl she is: not my type.  So, it's you that I like the most, Felicia.  Because… even though you may be playful and teasing and maybe a little self-important… you're genuine.  And, you like to have fun.  So–"     "They're not my sisters, you dummy."     "What?"     Felicia smiled at him with half-closed eyes and half-cocked ears.     "They're not my sisters.  Not by blood, anyway," she clarified.  "They're just friends and fans of mine that decided to help out while I was on tour.  They're… definitely family, though.  The best kind.  The kind who're there for you, no matter what."     She paused for a couple of seconds.  Then, she focused a little more on Joseph.     "It's okay if you like the way Lucy bends and moves.  Wouldn't be the first time!"     Her confidence returned as she grinned at the fox.     "You don't have to try and make me feel like I'm special!  I'll get over it!"     "Get over… what, exactly?" he asked, genuinely confused.     The girl looked to the side, covering her mouth with her hand, again.  Shortly after, she looked up and shook her head.     "Nothing!" she exclaimed a little too quickly.  "Never mind!  Uh, hey!  Why don't we escort the kids outside?"     "Uh… sure?"
Joseph followed Felicia as she walked through the house, checking every room for stray kids.  Most of the rooms were empty, but one, in particular, still had a couple of kids in it…     In one of the dormitory-style bedrooms, they found Don and Holly playing with some army men and fashion dolls.  Neither of them wanted to interrupt because it was kind of a cute scene.  Apparently, the kids' characters were working on a cure for the common cold, together, only to be interrupted by a horrible alien from outer space!  It wasn't until they started fighting the beast – which resulted in the stuffed spider doll going flying – that they noticed Joseph and Felicia standing there.     "Oh, hi, Sister Felicity!" Holly said with a bright smile.  "Don and I were just playing 'Doctors Ben and Jerry Save the Universe'!"     Don added, "It's our favorite game!"     "I saw, and I know!" Felicia said with a laugh.  "Lucy's waiting for guys, you know!"     "Oh, no!" Holly gasped.  "We lost track of time!  Why didn't you set an alarm, Don?"     "Shoot, I'm sorry, Holly!" he apologized as she slapped his head far less gently than before.  "I'll remember next time!"     "We'll put our toys away, later, Sister!  C'mon, Don!"     The two ran off together, splitting the pair of adults at the doorway.
"Do… you guys just let the kids play by themselves a lot?"     "What?"  Felicia turned to look at Joseph.  "Sure!  Why not?"     "Well," he started as she began to walk, "what if someone hits someone?"     She laughed at the question.     "Then, they get a time-out!  Duh!"     "Alright, but what if no one says anything?" he asked, following her.     "If we have a reason to believe someone's being bullied, we keep an eye on them," she told the fox with a patient, somewhat formal voice.     "Okay, but… what if… you know?"     "What?"     Joseph hesitated, but then he asked, "What if the kids… are kissing, or something…?"     Somehow, the fox wasn't surprised when Felicia stopped and spun on her heels to glare at him.  He was a little surprised by how angry she'd gotten from the question, though.
"What kind of an orphanage do you think we have, Joe?!" she half-shouted.  "Why would you even ask that?!"     "Why are you getting so worked-up, Leese?"     "Don't call me that!"     He went wide-eyed when she tried to slap him, but he ducked back before she'd hit.     "Look," she began with an angry huff, "if you must know, if we catch them, we take them aside and see what they know and where they learned it from.  Kids are… kids are bound to pick up stuff from movies and…"     She trailed off with a sigh.     "I'm sorry I got so mad, Joe.  It's just… why would you ask that?"     She looked up, then, and frowned, giving him an uncertain sort of look.     "Do you know how that makes you look, to me…?"     "Context is key," he calmly told her.  "I ask because, back when I was in the orphanage, the kids got together and decided that me and my best girl friend – a girl that I was friends with, I mean – should kiss and tell us what it's like.  'Cause, ya know, they saw the 'grown-ups' do it."     She looked to the side… then she asked, "What was it like?"     "Frankly?"  He chuckled.  "Disappointing.  I mean, we were friends.  And we were, like… nine?  Ten?  She might have been mature enough for that, but I sure wasn't.  Still…"     He grinned, flicking his tail.     "I didn't get cooties, so I guess it was alright?"     "'Cooties,' huh?"     Felicia finally let herself smile.     "You know you don't get cooties from kissing… right?"     "Of course, I do."  He grinned.  "You get it from holding hands."     "I bet you've done that lots."     "Naturally.  I've been told I'm a pro at holding hands."  Joseph shrugged as he told her, "Why… this one time… I even locked fingers with a girl!"     "Scandalous…!" she gasped.  "I can't believe I even let you in here!"     The fox laughed as he got a playful slap on the face for his joke.     "Anyway, we should finish up looking.  Lucy gets PO'ed when kids show up late."     He nodded, then the two continued their search.
The search for kids ended fairly quickly – all of them were outside.  Once that was done, Felicia led Joseph down into the first-floor gathering area.  There, she left the fox idling as she went to get something.     This really is a nice place… he thought as he looked at the couches and chairs in the room.  Much nicer than my old orphanage.  They even have a flat-screen TV!     He chuckled, then, as he noticed…     But, it has a VCR hooked up to it.  Couldn't they afford a DVD player?     It wasn't until he investigated the small entertainment center that he realized…     Oh.  It's a combination VCR/DVD player.  Neat.
"Hey, I'm back!"     Joseph turned toward the sound of Felicia's voice… only to find himself staring.  She'd come back, just as promised, but she was wearing something much different than before…     "Wow…" he whispered.  "You make a really lovely sister."     Felicia walked into the room, her hands tucked into the sleeves of her black, floor-length robe.  She had her eyes mostly closed and her hair was carefully tucked into her white habit hood and black cowl.  As she drew closer to Joseph, she half-opened her eyes and smiled a soft smile.     "You like me more like this, don't you?"     He blushed at the question… but for some reason, he felt brave enough to nod a little.     "It kind of… suits you, if I'm being honest?  Like, I could easily see coming to you to confess, or something!"     She giggled a little.     "Only ordained priests can take confessions, silly…"     "Oh."     He paused to rethink his statement.     "Well, uh… h-hey, if you were a nun at my church, I'd never miss services!"     "Geez, Joe…"     She grinned and blushed, brushing some of her fluffy hair away from her eyes.     "Lay it on thick, why don't ya?" she teased, giving him an affectionate hip-check.     "It's what I do, Leese."     Her face turned cold as he used that nickname, again.     "It's what I do, Feli," he tried again.     She didn't react to the second attempt.  Instead, she walked over to the VCR, her robes gliding across the floor like she was floating.  Once there, she reached down and slid something into the tape deck.
    "Wanna see somethin' cool?"
Joseph watched as Felicia walked over to the nearest couch and daintily sat down, keeping her robe straight and smooth.  He decided to play it safe and take a distant seat, himself.  Once they were settled, she flicked a hand out and used the remote in her hand to turn the television on.  A second later, the tape began rolling and a picture formed on the screen.
