When Simon’s assigned to go on this mission with you, he’s already cursing under his breath. Clubs have never been his forte–the loud music and crowded, drug and alcohol-filled atmosphere isn’t exactly something he’s comfortable with.

And the fact that you’re supposed to go as his date isn’t helping his case either.

Simon has always had a thing for you. He loves many things about you, but he adores that you stay true to yourself most of all. You always do what you want, never putting in unnecessary energy to please others. He can relate to that–it feels nice to have someone who understands.

And that is one of the reasons why you never wear makeup or dress up. You don’t feel like you have to–not for yourself, not for anyone else.

So he doesn’t know what to expect when he’s standing outside, waiting for you to finish getting ready so you can head out with him.

He’s waiting anxiously, standing with his hands in the pocket of his black hoodie. He finds you beautiful either way, of course. You could be in the most ridiculous outfit known to man, and he’d still be completely enamored by you. But it’s only natural for him to get a reaction to you being all dolled up, right? Anyhow, he’s hoping that he won’t.

“Sorry, I took so long!” You exclaim, running out to him after a few minutes, snapping him out of his thoughts.

The second Simon looks up to meet your eyes, his eyes widen. You look so pretty, so new and confident. He has never seen you this dressed up before, so it’s still kind of weird to him, but you look so gorgeous he can’t take his eyes off you.

“How do I look?” You ask, smiling at him and giving him a spin.

He’s so grateful he’s wearing his mask, or else you would be able to see the intense blush he has on his face.

“Good. Let’s go.” He simply says, looking you up and down before he walks to the driver's seat, trying so hard not to make his attraction to you obvious.

“Just good?” You keep poking at him, smirking as you pick up on his lingering gaze. It’s so undeniable that he’s checking you out. “I spent an hour on my makeup, Lt. I’d appreciate a compliment.” “Jesus Christ, Y/N.” He sighs, turning to you with his piercing cold gaze. But his look doesn’t make your body erupt in goosebumps like it usually would. His eyes are soft even though he’s glaring daggers at you. “You look beautiful. Now let’s go, soldier. We don’t have all day.” “Thank you, Lt.”

Even though he looks fine on the outside, he’s screaming inside. He nearly ran over the curb on the way to the club–that’s how much his mind wandered.

He’s suddenly very protective over you, as well. He knows you can handle your own, but if any man looks at you too long in the club, he’s looming behind you like your shadow, standing close to you as you walk through the crowd.

He checks in on you constantly during the mission. “Anyone annoying you?” “You comfortable?” “Do you need help?” It’s not out of the ordinary for him to check in now and then during missions, but this? It’s almost getting excessive.

After the mission, he’s much calmer and softer. He’s much like his usual self around you, yet he has an element of shyness weighing down on him. He almost seems flustered. That aura will never leave him as long as he has the image of your outfit in his head.

When Johnny’s assigned to go on this mission with you, saying he’s excited is an understatement.

He’s going to get to go on a mission with you? And you’re going to be all dolled up? It’s like a dream.

You’re always beautiful to him - like you got sculpted with such care and thought you could present as the main attraction at a museum. He’s always been a gawker, staring at you whenever he can, just drinking your features and imagining what it would be like to hold you.

He will stare no matter what - you’re that stunning to him, and no tactical gear or scrubs could ever deduct from your beauty. But he has never seen you in clubbing attire before. It’s always refreshing to see you in different styles of clothes and disguises. It humanizes you.

So, best believe he’s thrilled that he will see you with a flattering outfit and cute makeup.

He’s standing outside of your door as you get ready. He’s waiting for you so you can go to the mission briefing together. Unbeknownst to him, Johnny won’t be able to focus on the briefing with you next to him.

“You done yet, lass?” He taps his foot on the ground, grumbling as he leans against the wall by your door. “Yeah, give me a minute. They provided me with fuckin’ donut-scented perfume.” You sigh, making Johnny laugh a little. “Donuts smell good, though.” He shrugs. “Luckily…”

“Okay, I’m ready.” You eventually step out, catching Johnny by complete surprise. He hoped he’d get a warning, a minute to prepare himself.

And my God, he needs it.

His jaw instantly drops at the sight of you. It’s safe to say you’ve left him speechless. You look so perfect, unlike anything he has ever seen. It almost feels corny to him–how starstruck you’ve got him.

After what feels like an eternity, he steps closer to you and gently holds your waist, his cheeks turning into a deep crimson color.

“You look amazin’, lass.” He softly says, his rough hands feeling you up gently. “So beautiful.” He just can’t stop looking at you, his jaw still touching the floor as his eyes scan your flustered frame and face. “Thank you, John.”

“I don’t even wanna go on the mission anymore. I just wanna look at you.” He purrs, his soft blue eyes meeting yours. “God, I wish.” You snicker, punching his shoulder playfully. “We’re already late to the briefing as is. We gotta move, Sergeant.” “Unfortunately.”

There’s something so different about Johnny on this mission. The way he is with you is worlds apart from his attitude to everyone else. He’s as soft as a koala with you, clinging to you as you navigate around the booming club. He’s constantly whispering sweet nothings into your ear, praising you for doing the bare minimum. “You’re doin’ great, bonnie.” “Look at you… stunning.” “Aren’t you lookin’ pretty?” “Good job, beautiful.”

But if only you can see how he’s glaring daggers at everyone else. Any man who steps too close for comfort to you needs to go through Johhny first. Nobody messes with you on his watch. He’s acting like your fucking guard dog–that’s how bad it is.

After the mission… Good God, you’re in for it.

Clingy™️. You thought he was clingy in the club? It is nothing compared to how much of a lost puppy he is around you now. He just wants to be around you and nobody else.

Kyle isn’t surprised John assigned him to go on this mission with you. You’re both young, efficient, and skillful. What better candidates are there for this?

He is, however, overjoyed. Going on missions alone with you will always be one of Kyle’s favorite things, the intimacy and romance of it all making his heart burst. But this? It is on a whole other level of romance to Kyle. Even if clubs aren’t fairytale-like, the context matters to him. He’s going to the club with you, as your date. How is that not romantic?

He has always loved your look. Not only is it sexy to him how authentic you look, but it has a level of vulnerability to it, which he adores. But he can’t help but wonder–how would you look glammed up? How would you look with a full face and a cute outfit?

Well, he doesn’t have to wonder anymore. The time has come.

“Hurry up, Kyle.” You grumble as you stand outside his room, continuously knocking on his door. Surprisingly, he’s putting a lot of effort into his appearance, so much so that he’s taking longer than you did to dress up. “Captain’s gonna come for our asses.” “You excited to see me, is that it?” “Shut up.”

It takes him a few minutes to finally walk out, and as much as you are mesmerized by his appearance, it is nothing compared to his reaction to your new look. He is RED.

“Wow… you look good, Sergeant.” You give him a nod of approval, a cheeky smile painted on your face. Kyle’s sudden silence makes your eyes flicker to his own, only to be met by his awed expression.

He takes all of you in, drinking in your appearance before his eyes meet yours. “Damn, soldier.” He whistles, stepping closer to you and giving you a twirl, erupting a hearty laugh from you. “You look great.” Even though his words are simple, they carry a palpable weight. “Thanks, Kyle. Now let’s go.”

You instantly notice how handsy Kyle is, all of a sudden. He keeps his hand on the small of your back during the whole mission, his touch sending waves of warmth throughout your body. Your outfit hugs your curves perfectly, making it impossible for him to keep his hands away from you. You look stunning.

He even drags you onto the club’s dance floor, resting his hands on your hips and bringing you closer to him, your bodies swaying to the music. He insists it’s for blending into the crowd, but everybody knows he’s spewing complete bullshit. But you don’t mind.

However, you two finished the mission with flying colors, your teamwork proving to be excellent once more. (Kyle is sure it’s because of the dancing.)

He has never put such thought and care into a mission report in his life. He’s secretly hoping John will assign him and you on more of these missions together. He just can’t get enough of this new look of yours.

He still adores your usual air. Your laidback and natural beauty makes his heart skip a beat every time. But damn, your confidence in that club makes him lose his mind.

He craves more of it.

John knows better than anyone how capable you are. How strong and essential you are to the team. He immediately assigns you to go on this mission because of your ability to complete your tasks flawlessly and smoothly. And who better to go on this mission with you than him?

He knows he’s doing this for the mission’s sake but still gets this unwavering guilt as he waits for you outside by the car. You’ve got this unique aura everyone’s drawn to, even if you aren’t everyone's taste. You’re so courageous and likable, so unapologetically yourself. There’s just something about you. He can’t help but like you. And he feels like he’s solely going on this mission with you because of his biased feelings–because he chose you two to go together. It’s so shameful. He’s your Captain, for fuck’s sake.

“What’s got you stressing, Cap?” You break him out of his storm of thoughts when you walk towards him, looking more alluring than ever. He could look at you for hours. Your outfit hugs your curves perfectly, your makeup extenuates your features, and your scent makes you smell like you came straight from heaven. You look like a literal angel. There’s no denying that.

“Well, don’t you look breathtaking?” He gives you a soft smile, stepping closer to you and taking all of you in. “Ready to go?” He can’t let himself get too distracted. You’ve still got a mission to complete. It is proving to be more difficult than usual, though–not because of the objective itself but because of you.

“Thanks, Captain.” You chuckle, nodding. “Yep. All ready.”

Focusing on the road is rougher than it seems. With you sitting next to John, he can’t look anywhere but you. The mere sight of you is just killing him.

Focusing on the mission isn’t as hard, but it’s still bothersome when he could be holding you in his arms, admiring your newfound beauty and look. He’s trying his hardest not to act possessive. To not be closer than he needs to be. Again–he has a job to get done.

But at the end of the day, unlike everyone else, he knows how to control himself and finish the mission quickly and efficiently.

After the mission, however, you’re not off the hook.

Since he’s your Captain, he needs to keep himself in check. Having a relationship with you is dangerous for you both, which is why he’s discreet with his favoritism and feelings.

Now all of a sudden, he’s assigning you on far too many disguise missions, the ones that require you to get dolled up. Of course, he’s still so smitten by default. Like Johnny, he feels that no amount of imperfections can take away from your beauty. But seeing you in those dresses… that makeup… it does something to John. He can’t get enough of it.

And obviously, he’s going with you on those missions.

And suddenly, it’s not about the missions anymore but about you. John’s not doing this because you’re skilled–John’s doing this because it’s the closest he’ll ever get to being with you.

You stared at him for a while, mischievously smiling when you got an idea.

„Your eye is so beautiful.“ you suddenly said, surprising him. „Wha-” „It reminds me of the deepest depths of the ocean.“ you interrupted him. The Cherry on top was the little kiss you gave him on his cheek. What has gotten into you? His face became slightly red and he was suddenly rendered speechless. „Ah..thank you.“ he finally said. You warmly smiled at him. „You’re truly the most beautiful man I’ve ever laid my eyes upon. Inside and out,“ You continued, caressing his cheek with one of your hands. „You deserve the universe and everything in it.“ Kaeya could feel his heart flutter, his eyes slightly widening at your sweet words. „Kaeya, you might as well take my heart, it’s already so full of yo-” he covered your mouth with his hand before you could finish your sentence.

That’s when you noticed, that his face was beet red and he was looking away. „That’s..enough. Thank you.“ his voice sounded so shy.

The next morning you woke up with the biggest hangover of your life and a surprisingly shy Kaeya, refusing to leave your side.

The emptyness fills your soul as you wait, the nothingness gets extremly unbareable the longer it lasts. The days head past you each millisecond and the painful feeling still lingers. Even after you had gotten with the man you love most in your life - Phillip Graves. You love him and he, you. But the feeling of your unfilled heart takes over your thoughts. You knew deep down he loved you. Hell, everyone knew he loved you - but with the trauma of your past you could never believe it. Phillip Graves was one of the most sweetest men you had ever met, despite his past with the 141 and all the crimes and shit, but you still loved him through all of it. He just needed you - he just wanted you. And here you are. He is a gentle lover, always soft with his touches and his speech was careful as ever when it came to you. Even though it was hard with his commanding voice and his demanding personality formed from war and outrage, he still was always so kind to you. Loving him wasn't that hard - others had thought it would have been but it was a thrill.

Waking up with a heavy build plastered on top of your person, you instantly knew it was him. "Fuck man,” you groan softly - almost sounding as if it was a moan. "Get off Phil" you half chuckle while trying to lift the beast of the man off of you. A rough groan sounds from the building on top of you as you try your very hardest to push him off but as always it doesn't work.

"Doll one second.” He finally speaks while you sigh and lean your head back onto the pillow accepting your fate. As you sit in silence while Phil goes back to sleep the thoughts set in again - maybe it was you self sabotaging the relationship or maybe you really had a gut feeling but the endless supply of loose thoughts ran hysterically through your head for a while until you put a stop to them. "We uhm.. I need to get ready Phil." quietly murmuring your excuses as you manage to push him off and scoot yourself away from him. He groans loudly as if he were a kid and his iPad got taken off him. “where you goin doll?” he questions your random lie as you pop out of bed and undress.

Taking off your ,well his, shirt as you can see Phil in the corner of your eye jolt up in the bed and gloom his eyes at you.

"Fuck, you're so pretty.” He compliments you as he admires you in full awe. You are so gorgeous to him all the time. Your body is so pretty to him, God. He could look at it for years.

Taking off your underwear as he awes you - his eyes full of lust and love while you sigh dismisivly at him. “shut it” a hard stone cold answer and then he could tell something was wrong.

"baby doll." he says in his commanding voice and you jolt instantly to look over at him. He rotates his eyes down your body to take a peak as you look over at him with those lucious doe eyes. "C'mere darlin” God you love how much he showers you with compliments. You had tried to bend over to pick up your shirt that Phil had thrown the previous night but as soon as you move a centermeter, Phil grasps your body and man-handles you to the bed.

“philllllll” you whine as he rubs your thighs and hips getting nearer to your sex as you can even blink. "Oi!" you tell him as he touches your slit and you smack him jokenly.

“im sorry baby.. cant help it” he mumbles against your skin as he kisses the piece of skin at your neck softly. “ whats bothering you doll?" whispering as if drunk off you while holding his lips gently at our neck - peppering the skin with kisses and nipping you to leave his marks. It's not like you were gunna tell him even if he was being like this with you but I guess it was worth a try. You weren't a very open person - never been and never will be. It takes a bit to open up and Phil respects and knows that. So that's why Phil was never angry at your emotions raging out or your sobs or outbursts because he knows it takes a lot for you to even let out one spike of tear.

The sigh you created lets out around the air and you look down at him as he had monuvered himself on top of you. Lifting himself up a bit so you don't get squashed underneath him. "Just didn't get a good sleep.” Another excuse to get out of this situation you had created and only you were in. He breathes softly next to your skin, heating up the space with his warm breath as you squirm underneath him. "need you off Phillip." still groaning from under him.

"I'll go make us breakfast and let's see how you feel after you've eaten, hm?” he suggests and as soon as you can even respond he's up and out. You had just slumped into the bed, letting it take you as a prisoner.

After a bit a strong scent forms from the room behind the bedroom door. Breakfast. Yum. God you loved him - cooking you a good nice breakfast just because you were in a shitty mood. Finally lifting yourself up and instantly receiving a headache you just groan. Fuck today was going to sting. Walking into the kitchen to see him. Wearing just his gray joggers, you knew he wasn't wearing anything underneath them. Your eyes flirted with staring at his arse or his hips - a hard choice. His hips were so slutty, slim but thick and just so fucking hot but on the other side his arse was nice and cute. Hurling your arms around his waist as he flips a pancake as he exhales.

"baby!" he exclaims, "I got pancakes, hashbrowns annnddd some fruit and bacon.” You look over to the counter with all the stuff on it - you felt loved for once. It was so silly as well. "I love you Phil." blurting out as he chuckles all gently. The softness is as squishy as a plushie as he beams from ear to ear. "I love you too doll."

Ah, I'm afraid I cannot help you there. I seem to be physically incapable of explaining how I draw things. I've made some hand/art tutorials in the past but I just cant seem to explain myself well-

It boils down to: "Well.. I just, draw it. And uh.. if it looks kind'a off? Draw it a little differently. And if it still looks off.. then uh.. just draw it again, until it looks right." <XDD Not really helpful.. sorry!..

Its rare that Seafoam gets really stressed or overwhelmed. Its the mark of a good Captain to keep his cool when under pressure. But if there comes a time where his stress is high and he cant get away from the situation, he probably seeks out Octo for help. Getting him to take over so that he can step away or just to help him in general. In which Octo is always willing to help.

Octo is the same as Seafoam. Really good under pressure and rarely gets overwhelmed. But just like Seafoam, if things get to be too much he would seek out Seafoam for help. Maybe even getting Seafoam to take control so can get a few minutes to himself.

Red probably gets stressed a lot, the poor kid :< He just runs to Coco, Seafoam, Blue or even Octo if he can. Just the nearest parental/protective figure that can resolve the situation for him <XD

I can see Blue diving deeper or swimming out a ways from the ship when stressed. The whale equivalent of taking a walk <XD

Cuttlefish probably uses her powers to slip out of any situation and find a quiet space to calm down. Removing herself from the situation usually fixes her up pretty quick. Spider crab is the same, just going to find a space alone where he can calm himself down. Usually by taking deep breaths and soaking up the quiet.

Urchin, Louis, Coco, Tuna and Ellie probably would all just find a way to leave the situation to go pace and rant when stressed. Even if they have to make a scene in order to leave.

I can see Pinwheel fleeing to Seafoam whenever something becomes too much to handle. Getting him to step in and help her, though she might not fully leave the situation. Since Seafoam provides her comfort, she might hover nearby while Seafoam resolves the situation for her.. 🥺

re: choose violence meme Utena answer, I don't want to drag you into the wretched discourse lol, so no pressure to answer, but... okay so I haven't watched IWTV but from what little I see. you seem SO TAPPED IN to what's going on w interplay of the book VS the tv show's handling of race, gender, etc. so I am wondering... penny for your thoughts on Ikuhara's handling / not handling of race (and / or sexuality)... and / or the fandom's takes... orz

oh yeah im down& i appreciate the compliment!<3 im hesitant to over-speak, but i know ikuni & saito have explicitly said anthy is based off lalah sune from mobile suit gundam.. lalah is from bombay (mumbai) & was trafficked into the flannigan institute (2d space military experimentation) as a means to experiment n find the answer on newtypes, which r basically an esoteric arbitrarily defined concept from gundam to gundam thats exploited in the space age military apparatus. lalah sune in the uc gundam series is used as a plot device: its one of char’s greatest mistake/s in his culpability in lalah’s situation, therefore once again violating his father zeon’s revolutionary precepts on what the newtypes were for, and one of amuro’s greatest mistake/s in that he made a brief but rather profound bond w/ such a ~kindred spirit~ n ended up being the one who killed her. she ends up haunting both of them in char’s counterratack & while i thought that was enjoyable to watch.. its laughably easy to read lalah as a pretext for amuro + char’s later fixation on eachother (& tomino even encourages it). ultimately, lalah’s own characterization, much less any story arc on how she was the means to introduce newtypes in the gundam series is tertiary to what she represented to amuro and char. now why am i talking about lalah here? bc ikuni+ saito r explicitly inspired by her in making anthy n ima try to say my piece in how ikuni, and the rgu narrative in both animanga treat anthy (& akio, as a result of being her brother)’s racialization. a lot of shoujo animanga period always has the trope of the character or two at the most who r noticeably darker than the pale-skinned cast, yet theyre never really clearly defined as who or what they are much less is this used to supplement their characterization. with rgu, as u have discussed before, ikuni nem use eternity as a motif. like what does it mean to be eternal? n all. u have anthy and akio, these two darker skinned (indian) characters like lalah, being seen as the vanguard , the introduction to and the disseminator of this esoteric concept that ever eludes the rest of the cast. u have these indian characters who play into these new-age stereotypes , namely how the new age has coopted a lot of the indian faiths & refuse to see yalls cultures as something that actually evolves, but is stagnant + ‘eternal’. the modern world is outside, ohtori headed by akio is the cycle of life repeating over& over n over again. when it comes to the vitriolic protracted abuse + projection anthy faces thru the series, its implicit that this is bc shes a darker skinned girl in a sea of lighter skinned people & abused by her older brother. i cant say if it was ikuni nems intention in doing this but the canon is ample for this argument n how i read this idea of being the rose bride , the ultimate target for humanity’s hate to be a commentary in part on what it means to be a girl/woman of color. dios having the burden to save all of humanity is the archetypical prince, and the expectation on boys of color to prematurely ‘rise up’ n ‘be the man’ so & anthy pulling her brother away from this burden made her a target to all of Humanity, metaphorically for refusing to play the martyr. n ive faced shit in the past for articulating such& bc im a bw, ppl have seemed to misinterpret me saying this as saying ‘anthy is black’ LOL. the fandom is woefully reluctant to tackle this, bc there is no immediate white (european) involved. they want to say utena tenjou n em are ‘white’ bc theyre so eurocentric that this is the only way they can think. when these are japanese creators , creating characters n r relying on stereotypes of indian spirituality + people to define them in relation to the japanese characters. like its a reason they made anthy , the rose bride, the witch, based off lalah sune & not like. utena or shiori yk? the question of sexuality tied to this is rly weighted too, esp bc anthy (+ akio?) sport the marriage colored bindi, but i feel like that was the most intentional they went there

✰ Copia and you have been together for a while. The months of your relationship being the best thing to ever happen. His romantic side of things always included an awkward compliment, beautiful dinner dates and top quality movie nights with the package deal of cuddles and snacks.

✰ One of the best things within your relationship with the Cardinal is that he never questions your gender identity. He himself is a genuinely accepting and loving person, when he found out about your pronouns and gender identity (or lack of depending on how you identify), he never once questioned and fully accepted. He never pushed you to see what’s in your pants. He never objectified you or made you feel belittled from your identity. He saw you as you, and that was the most loving thing anyone has ever done for you.

Just him. “Yes, what is the matter my love?” His response was smooth like honey, dripping with pure intense passion and love. Copia could settle any uneasiness within you. “I must ask. Why have you never touched me before? Do I not interest you?” A frown spread across his face at your question. The dull ache in your heart from the lingering fear, banged harder against your chest. “Whatever do you mean?” He cocked an eyebrow shifting so his full attention was on you. “Oh, Copia. It’s just…ever since we have been together, you have always treated me right.” He nodded, listening to you. “And well. You have never once tried to make a move on me or touch me where I need you the most.” Your desperation for the middle aged man rang through in your statement. The frown on his face formed into a look of content. “Oh my dear, it is not that I am not interested you see, I just…” he trailed off in thought.

✰ “I worry I might cause you. What’s that word, dysphoria?” You nodded. “Yes, dysphoria. I worry…”you smile then sit up, getting on his lap and kissing him once more. “How about this. In order for you to find out what I can and can’t handle, we let you try out this they/them pussy?~” Copia’s eyes widen in shock for your boldness then nods with a smirk.
