If you’re an ass to syscourse unaligned/neutral people simply for existing,

A) My blog is not for you, just putting that out there. I’m anti-endo but I also can’t stand people who sit at the intersection between Asshole and Idiot.

B) Why? Why can you not handle that someone has a slightly different opinion from you, but may even support most of your beliefs? Why do you assume they’re “brainwashed by the other side” when they may just have personal reasons for a different label or beliefs they feel aren’t fully explained by YOUR label? Are you so ignorant that all you can ever see are two sides; “My side” and “The wrong side”? Why? Why don’t you take a second to examine this behavior? Are you scared to?

Are you stuck in black-and-white thinking? If you are, you don’t need to be participating in any kind of discourse. That’s how MAGA happened. People who only know how to repeat and bark one specific host of opinions and rhetoric, have no idea how to examine their beliefs and why they exist, have no desire to be accurate as much as Win, have full, blind belief in their side (“the right side”), and who refuse to see anyone who fits outside that norm as anything but wrong, evil, and untouchable or delusional.

They think they’re the good guys, too.

Just food for thought, I guess.

Because it's not supposed to be normal. It is not reasonable for someone to hate and kill people who are different from them. It is not reasonable to try and force people to live their whole life in fear. They are not "just Conservatives" or just "people who think differently," they are dangerous people spouting harmful bullshit, and it is not fucking normal. It is not normal to have so little regard and care for other people, and it should never be normalized. The people who say, "There's always going to be people like that," need to realize that they are ACTIVELY hurting people, and that is not a normal or appropriate response. Don't make excuses for them. Don't let them get away with it.
