The sign that Fognose received telling him to apprentice Littlepaw - what did it look like?

Fognose had a dream that was honestly pretty direct - he was shown Littlepaw walking behind him as he made his way along a marshy path, which quickly became Littlepaw walking alongside him, matching his pace with ease despite being so much smaller. When he looked into the apprentice's eyes, he saw the entirety of the night sky bursting with stars, even though Littlepaw was looking ahead at the tall grass and it was dusk at best.

Fognose woke up after that. He rose early, took one look at Littlepaw as he slept with a pleasant expression on his face, and knew that his Warden's dreams were going to mean something much greater if he was led down the right path.

This came after Littlepaw had been seeing signs from StarClan on his own, mind you. The only thing stopping anyone from seeing him as a seer at that point was that he'd had some warrior training already, and they worried that they'd earn some ire if he changed course now. StarClan didn't need to be super subtle about his destiny.

Can we see Littlebat’s design? That name is speaking to me lol I really like it!

her design could very well change in the future but here's what i'm thinking she looks like currently! she's the adoptive daughter of one of the cats introduced from the latest video

i haven't gotten around to drawing many of the future characters unfortunately but this was really fun (and drawing more of these guys might give me more ideas for when i get around to finalizing their designs hehe)

Hope you don’t mind another Littlepaw ask! Did he ever feel called to the seer role, or suspect he had an aptitude for it? Or did it come as a shock to him?

Not a problem at all! Always fun to talk about characters.

Littlepaw was one of the kittens who was made an apprentice way early by Brokenstar, at four months old. Even at that time, he felt a pull towards Fognose that he didn't fully understand, but he had an idea that it was going to be important - just not exactly how. Around the same time Murkpelt booked it to escape Brokenstar, Littlepaw became a proper Warden for the remaining seer, even fleeing ShadowClan with him later on when things got too dangerous. It was here, coincidentally, that he began to understand signs and guess at what visions meant in a startlingly accurate way. Fognose wasn't sure what to make of it, but he kept that in mind for later.

Littlepaw had a couple months of warrior training, but he wasn't very good at it. His attention would drift over to Fognose and to the dreams his charge was receiving, even more than a normal Warden. He had a lot of time given to him to take care of the seer, as is ShadowClan's custom with young Wardens, which probably contributed to his lack of skill with fighting and hunting - mind, he has the knowledge of how to do the practical stuff, just not the capability to perform them well. He spent almost every free, waking moment with Fognose, and his relationship with his mentor, Flintfang, began to diminish. He started seeing signs all on his own, signs that even Fognose had missed, and he was increasingly curious about StarClan and how to communicate with them. Flintfang and Fognose alike had a feeling that Littlepaw was meant for something greater than warriorhood, but there was a hesitation to it, since he knew things a seer shouldn't know for the sake of staying spiritually clean.

When Fognose received a dream of StarClan making it clear that Littlepaw should be his apprentice, I can't say that he was completely taken by surprise, and neither was Littlepaw. The itty-bitty ant was very excited at the news, seeing it as a dream come true: he gets to take care of his favorite cat AND he gets to speak to StarClan and the Three! How great is that? It's all he wanted at this point, so he eagerly agreed to tutoring under Fognose. The rest of the Clan wasn't too sure about it, since he had started as a warrior apprentice, but any uncertainties or protests were soothed with the acknowledgement that StarClan themselves ordered it to be so. Littlepaw was made Fognose's apprentice almost immediately, and he's been there ever since.
