Nasir is an ancient genie, doomed to spend an eternity serving others. He despises humanity and hates Kalim. He'll never say it to his face, but he really is praying on his downfall. Ever the schemer, he constantly tries to tempt Jamil to doing some less than kind things to their master. He always has a smile on his face, to the point where its his default expression. Rumor has it when his smile drops, bodies drop. He would love to take the forefront of making humanity pay for their crimes, yet he is bound by the lamp to be forever docile.

Nasir would use a Link Joker Deck!

In the lore, the advance party of Link Joker are the Star-vaders, led by Chaos Breaker, and are directly responsible for the Great Invasion War. Their original objective was to invade worlds and purge them of life. However they were defeated, and they are now bound to this world as normal units.

My reasoning behind this: I mean come on, they got the whole despising humanity, bounded to mortal wishes thing that Nasir has going on! This deck specialises in controlling or rather, “locking” enemy allies, rendering them completely under Link Joker’s control. For Nasir’s sly manipulating skills, this is the perfect deck for him!

A central theme of all of the Link Joker's playstyles is lock, a mechanic that renders their opponent's units unusable without removing them from the field. The control lock provides, while temporary, is extreme, and Link Joker uses these tactics to control the game in their favour.

A wild take: he has different speeches written out for different scenarios where he’s summoned/called out. Man prepares that, he doesn’t cut corners. Perhaps that’s why he’s so convincing…

So today after long absence of my hobby content to Cardfight Vanguard!! i like to share my old decks. Update for this blog.

19 Decks in total with 18 in the G Premium Standart format & my only V Deletor Trial Starter.

Yes, primally my interest is focused on the Link Joker clan orientated themes with old Lock stall mechanic.

Plus some builds on varity, Chaos Breaker Dragon is still in each Deck.

But i like the random feminine Lady build deck and Messiah. With mixed supply of G Units.

Some Nova Grappler orientated on the old Gundam aesthetic like Blau series to focus in the Ride chain to Mond Sonne Neumond etc.

I like the old Limit Break mechanic in nostalgic trips a lot in contrast to all the new gimmicks.

I respect the V / D formats too with all the popular evolutions in the Anime / game on mechanic, draw power and states. I do like the shared varity of themes in all State orientated deck format from all the Nation as an huge card pool to chose and infinite to change.

But sadly in my local groups or stores / tournaments in my area is the current & old Vanguard not up to date with to less players active.

Too many went off or growing out of the Cardgame or tcgs in generel.

In germany had Vanguard an too slow start in contrast to other games like the rival Series Weiß Schwarz / Force of Will & of course Magic & yugi since too.

Bushiroad inc. has without the italy prints in contrast not shown really interest or strong desire to bring it out for the broad audience.

The Digimon Cardgame is currently on the go with good tempo & playerbase.

[TWST OC] Tsutomu Hanekawa inspirations

I know you're aware that my "Yuu" OC - Tsutomu, is inspired/taken from various characters. I'm glad to explain it :)

Mannerisms

I would like to say that I took Tsutomu's mannerisms from Yuuken Enma (male MC in the Episode of Heartslabyul). I mean, he's magicless but he can put on a real duel by besting RIDDLE in a kendo-style battle (HE'S SO COOL ISTG), also he's unfazed to every situation.

Enma wields a bokken (wooden sword used for Kendo training), while Tsutomu wields a real nodachi (he won't raise it at anyone except somebody tries to harm him or his friends).

However, I also mix game! Yuu's mannerisms such as their snarky demeanor and Batman Gambit ('I-outsmarted-your-outsmarting') skills (my all time favorite trait). Well, they didn't called "Beast Tamer" for nothin'.

Gadgeteer skills

Few younger characters have the skills to built their own gadget. His cool gadget-making skills is inspired from Professor Agasa Hiroshi from Detective Conan.

Just like him, his inventions may be malfunction at times, but he knows how to fix it. However, in Tsutomu's case, he prefers to keep this a secret because "it isn't worth mentioning" (save for the first-year gang and the Octavinelle trio).

He knows well that he couldn't always rely on his nodachi, so he began to search some materials around NRC (especially in Sam's shop). His notable inventions are Magic Stun Gun Pen, Anything-Identify Magnifying Glass, and the Suspend-and-Restrain Yo-yo.

Fighting style and power(s)

As for his fighting style, he mostly cool and composed like Yuuken does. However, when the tables turned, his fighting style will turn like a brutal and deadly dancer bathed in flames (but he keep it refined) like Shana from Shakugan no Shana and Shimazu Toyohisa from Drifters.

He got his flame powers because he accidentally ate a fire candy which arrived at his dorm's doorstep. The two red marks under his eyes were inspired from Cardfight Vanguard: Link Joker arc.

I had a blast writing this :)

One thing that will always be funny is how Aichi shoots up in height like a tree in between season 2 and 3 but is still relatively smol

Look at him. He’s as smol as Taiyou and Tokoha.

Also something I thought about is that the biggest missed opportunity in G was not seeing Aichi get hammered. He’s 21 let him drink. I would pay money to see Aichi drunkenly explaining the plot of season 1-4 to the G cast.

Primary to the Link Joker decks, i do play Neo Nectars Musketeer & an Maiden of with the G floral Seasonal Princess units and Asha Deck.

I know, the generic iconic route with bloom & search retire call retire call and Elvira critical stacking, but these decks are rooted themes for it. :D

Then the little fun magia deck from my third favorite from the Pale Moon clan with all it’s colourful fun actors.

Little magia with Harry, Coulthearth and not so little Nightmaredoll Alice. :D

The G zone decks are now each to 8-10+

But sadly i was not interested years ago in the spicy Silver Torns because of the cash € 💸💰.

But to play with it for the field show and in it’s soul mechanic like an juggle in luck , out of luck or focused in the dominated way. I miss the old Gun Salute Dragon combo.

Recently last year with some late Support of the Musketeer male rose cards & some Salome, i finished the Deck to my Jewel Knights.

Also some two really old low cheap Gear Chronicle builts.
