Liam: Here you go. - he looked at both, then his eyes rested on Izzy who didn’t look at him at all.- If you're wondering where Della is, she is at the shelter today, getting her yearly vaccines and such, she’ll be here again tomorrow.

His words gained him a look, and then they just focused on their coffee, Liam shrugging his shoulders slightly hearing Libby saying thank you for both as he went back to his work, checking on the other customers, as well as taking some orders to go.

It had actually been his grandpa Hayle who had mentioned it, that to have things to go, would let those without time to stay taste his things, and perhaps on a day when they had time, they would visit. Either way, it was another good way of making money.

Without Liam noticing it, Izzy takes a photo of him before the two, or well, one of them says goodbye, while the other just nods their head. Izzy walks by the small photography store in the town before they portal home, printing out the picture and doing his best to hide it from his twin by distracting her with the candy store.

As he stands outside, he empties the pack of cigarettes, takes out a pen from his pocket, then scribbles the words “do it for him” on the back, about to stick it into the pack when he hears his sisters all too familiar voice

Libby: I KNEW IT! You have a crush on sunlight!!

Izzy doesn’t even get halfway through his sigh before he finds the picture taken out of his packet by his twin, who grins widely at him. Libby: Love at first sight? Izzy: … Libby: It was? Wasn’t it?

Ibuki had started learning how to make nectar and wine in his free time with the hope of being able to sell his own when he was done with school. Following his dad's advice he had taken courses in accounting so he could manage himself. But also had some help from his dad to begin with.

Kaylin on the other hand, had finally decided that she wanted to be a journalist and took summer classes to get into the courses she wanted for the final year of college.

Watching the six teens, soon young adults sitting in the living room, Emil just smiled as he brought them their snacks for the evening. If he was honest, Ye-Min had been with them so much now, that she felt a little like one of his kids, even though he knew she wasn’t.

She did call both of them uncles by now, so they were family at least. Kaylin and Ibuki often came over as well so he had the thing he once only dreamed of having, a family, one that felt just right. Feeling a familiar hand in his, he looked over at Flynn who smiled back at him.

Flynn: I think we did okay with them don’t you? Emil. Yeah, I wonder what their life has in store for them. Flynn: Ups and downs is my guess. But they are lucky, they have their family and friends to fall back on when they need to.

Emil nodded, they knew their kids would come back to them if something bothered them, and that was something he was happy about. Rylan often talked with Chris as well as them, while Tyvan often talked with his grandpa River if his parents weren’t home and he needed an answer.

They talked for a while longer, until there were more yawns than words, and sleep finally managed to grasp all three of them. The day after it was up early, Rylan left them at breakfast along with Ye-Min and their coach to prepare for the free program. The rest met up with family outside the arena, taking some time to just walk around before they went in to watch. They had been placed almost in the middle of the field, so even after they were done, there would be an awfully long wait for everyone.

Flynn: I think that's the best free run I have ever seen them do. Emil: Agreed.. Now, to wait. Liam: I hate waiting.

There was a chuckle from everyone, as they all agreed that they really had outdone themselves. And had a firm grip on the first position for now. The question was, would it be enough? The answer to that question was only in their possession 2 hours later, when the final list glowed over the ice.

Tyvan: They did it!

Their performance in the free program had snagged them third place, and with that, a ticket to the Olympics. And although they all knew these two loved winning, they had a feeling that this ticket was as big a thing as the win would have been. Watching the ceremony, they knew that they would stay one more day for the Gala show that would be the next day, where the contestants would just show off a routine made more for fun.

Liam: So what do you want today? Izzy: … Liam: I am sure something but the simple coffee I normally serve you could be tempting? Izzy: … Liam: Fine no coffee until you tell me what you want. Unless of course, you want me to have you test new creations? I always need some feedback, but you then need to give me feedback.

No words came, but instead, Izzy took up the menu and pointed to a caramel latte that he had just added. Liam: Okay, think about the other thing though? Getting a nod from Izzy he went to make the coffee, he wondered why they never talked. In a way, they looked lonely there in the corner, but he did notice someone that often came to that corner too whenever he was there; Della, one of the cats that had been here since the start. She seemed to get more smiles from Izzy than anyone else. It was some weeks later when he noticed Izzy standing outside. He had in the end agreed to be one of Liam’s testers, which at least let Liam hear his voice on occasion, although his answers were short, to the point, and concise. He liked that for his coffee reviews, they were honest and simple to work with.

Lucas: How is it they all got so big already? River: If I knew, I would tell you. -he chuckled- it’s just the way it is somehow. Lucas: Is it bad that I kinda wish he wanted to sleep over? River: Nope, but you know, he plans to open in Christmas, for those that have nowhere to go? Lucas: I know. River: Come, lets get some sleep and we can surprise him and any visitors there with being there?

Lucas smiled, letting River lead him to their bedroom, noticing the lifted head from a certain cat for a second or two before it just went back to sleep. As the rest of the year passed, and a new year was ushered in, the family was once again watching Rylan and Ye-Min win their second championships, qualifying them again for the now one year from now world championships. If they won that one, it would mean another trip to the Olympics. The two of them had gone from the new upcoming ones to being the ones everyone had to try and beat. This kept them on their toes, and much like Rylan had said, there were still speculations about them being a couple, which had all three of them sitting and laughing when they read the tabloids.

As they reached the end of yet another school year, Tyvan had been accepted into the police Academy, and after two years of training, was bumped a year ahead and joined the Criminal Psychology unit as a trainee. Rylan and Ye-min shifted their focus fully over to competing while letting Emil school them on the side, where they were not bound to school hours, but both could work on their degrees in what time they had outside their career.

The look she got from her twin had them hold out the picture for him to take, letting him stuff it into the packet and then put it away without her commenting on it. There was a smirk on her face though, one he knew all too well what meant. They had not had the final talk about all this.

With summer coming to an end, all the “kids” had their final meetup and River and Lucas’s newly finished shelter. They had chosen to rebuild when they started getting more horses, as they simply needed the space. Sitting outside with horses grazing close by, under one of the big trees, the talk between them was mostly on where they were now all heading.

Who was going to what university, what classes, what they expected, and so on. Libby told them about them finally starting high school, while Izzy stayed quiet as usual. In all honesty, they were surprised he chose to come still.

Liam: You guys will come over less often now then I assume? Libby: Yeah, sorry, but on the weekend hopefully we can come say hi.

There was a nod from Izzy as well who had 5 kittens in his lap. It was a rare smile on his face that they all assumed he simply did not know he had.

Liam: Good, I need my coffee tasters to drop by after all.

There was a smile between them all, before the talk shifted to the cafe, how it was doing, pets who had new homes, new pets that were coming in to try their luck, and in general they just chatted about what the next year might have in store for them all.

Sunlight often came to him if it was something he wanted to talk about, often dragon things, which was something Emil still loved sometimes sending the young dragon to Vy to answer some of them, not because they didn’t know, but because they knew Vy loved visits from the kids, and even more, loved to answer any dragon questions.

Through summer, the kids made sure they met at least once a month at Liam’s cafe in the morning, to then head out to the shelter to help out in the afternoons.

It was a way they liked to just keep in touch, as their own lives took up more and more of their time. It was a late summer afternoon when Liam noticed someone familiar in his cafe, someone he hadn’t really seen in a while. As if to tell him he was right, he saw Libby wave at him as she too entered.

Libby: Hola! Liam: Heya Libby, did they really let you travel alone? Libby: Yeah, we're old enough now to come visit all by ourselves!

Liam just smiled, letting her look through the list of drinks, letting her order for her and her brother. Much to his surprise though, he did notice that Izzy came back almost daily after their first one, which he admitted surprised him. He always sat at the same table in the back, and in general, didn’t talk, but gave a nod in his direction.

Vy: That he found a luck dragon, because I think I found mine in you. Inherited from dad of course.

Hayden just chuckled, he knew his dad called his dragon a luck dragon, and he didn’t mind being called one as well. Even if he often did not feel much like one, this was one of those occasions, he had to agree with his husband. Perhaps there was some luck in him after all.

Flynn: So Izzy still doesn’t talk much huh?

He sat next to Fannar in one of the sofa’s, Arlo being with his aunt and dad discussing some potions, so it gave the twins some alone time while all the kids were busy with their newly opened presents.

Fannar: No, he stays quiet mostly. Libby always says she speaks enough for both. Flynn: Worried, even if you know why? Fannar: A little, it's hard not to when it’s your kids right? Flynn: Yep, Arlo is still in denial? Fannar: -chuckles- Yes, but I hope one day he realizes that he can just talk, without worrying about it. Flynn: I’m sure he will one day. The two talked a bit more, before it was time for everyone to head home, leaving River and Lucas sitting in their now more empty and quiet home with a sleeping Munchie next to them.

Their life was so full with their kids, grandkids, work, and now two shelters and a cafe where they spent a lot of their free time. Christmas that year was spent in River and Lucas’s new place, as they found that with everyone together, it was the only place that could fit them all. Vy standing with Hayden just watching them all after the gifts had been opened, and everyone was just chatting. Hayden: What? Vy: I remember so long ago when I thought I would be alone forever... And look at how wrong I was. Hayden: All because you poked someone at a library huh? Vy chuckled, squeezing his husband's hand. This year, even Arlo and Fannar were there with their not-so-little ones, although some years younger than Liam, Ty, and Ry, they were also not that little anymore.

Ready to soon head into their first year at high school, and Arlo was still doing better, and could with a bit of a room to pull back into when needed, join in on these occasions. Vy: I’m starting to think our dad is right. Hayden: In what way?

Creative | Self-Assured | Cheerful - "They? Them? She, her?... Yes. I’m a Dragon!”

The youngest of the twins, Libby’s egg took forever to hatch what caused Fannar and Arlo to fear they might be dead inside their egg, but eventually Libby hatched. Due to the time this little dragon spent in their egg, Libby is quite frail and sickly, this is why her big brother is so protective of them.

Libby is a creative, cheerful and happy dragon, with a love for everything arts. Like her mom, they’re a dragon witch, with an immense power. She’s confident of herself and her skills. She’s a little sunflower like their aunt and can brighten everyone’s day.

Despite being frail she’s fiercely protective of her twin. Because they’re such a chatterbox she often talks for Izzy, and everyone else if she must. Defender of all causes, she’s a bit of an activist and as loud as one.

Hi! I’m Libby!

Are you named after anyone?

I’m Libidel Ward-Sullyvan! I was named after Libidel, one of the characters of the movie Aniara. Libidel was a woman desperate to reach Mars by her kid’s birthday, but once stranded she becomes a cult leader and eventually dies. Yes, my Vami named me and they follow on grandpa’s tradition of giving his kids increasingly weird names.

When was the last time you cried?

I don’t like to talk about it. It was one day me and Izzy got into a fight and Izzy was pressured by the cool kids to stand up for themself, and their way of doing it was to be mean to me and leaving me alone. Something bad happened that I don’t like to talk about. Vami and Vati know, but not Izzy, I don’t want them to know. They’ll feel guilty and we get along just fine and they already deal with their own trauma so...

Do you have any kids?

Not yet. I’m too young for kids.

Do you use sarcasm?

You think? I’m a Sullyvan, of course I do! All the time! This is why I get along best with Grandpa! It annoys Izzy to no end! Heehee!

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

The way they look at people. Not their eyes, no, their posture. The way they look at people. A lot can be said about someone by the way they react to you. I can tell from the get go if someone will be trouble.

What’s your eye color?

My eyes are green. Grandpa says I have his eyes and my vami’s eyes. Vami often worries about my eyes, they say our eyes are a curse. But I like my eyes.

Scary movies or happy endings?

Both I guess? I mean. Do you mean happy endings as romantic movie? Or happy ending like Cabin in the Woods, the Old ones destroy the world kind of happy eneding?

Any special talents?

I don’t think I have any. I’m a spellcaster like my Vami, but I don’t know if I have any special talents. I’m good with plants, I guess? I also Cheer?

Where were you born?

Henford on Bagley. By Isle of Volpe! Cordelia’s old cottage!

What are your hobbies?

I am a cheerleader. I like plants. I love to swim and usually swim with my twin! Hm... I like to help Vati with their Clinic. Oh! I love history! I want to become a historian and am usually digging up stuff! I collect a lot of fancy rocks and fossyls and trinkets I dig up! I once even did a time capsule! It’s buried by the Shrine.

Have any pets?

We have a white fox called Ghost. And chickens. Lots of Chickens. Phantom keeps wild foxes away from our chickens!

What sports do you play/have played?

Cheerleading!

How tall are you?

Both me and my twin are pretty tall. Currently I’m at 170. I’m the tallest of the ‘girls’ in our group. But I’m still growing.

Favorite subject in school?

History! I’m a history geek! I love reading about ancient cultures and learning all about them.

7. Chickens, the smell of herbs and plants, and black ink. Reminds them of home. As their Vamir-ti is an alchemist, they were raised in a house that always smelled of potions and plants. Ink reminds them of the encre from the syrian plants.

8. Talk less and stop talking for others and over others. Libby had the bad habit of talking for others and quieting others voices. They were very outgoing and often silenced their twin. After they had a fight in school, they stopped doing this and now talk less over others.

12. "Izzy, scratch my back." They usually ask others to get it for them. Currently they're quite flexible and can get it on their own.

13. Burgundy and green. And yes. Libby looks nice in nearly any colour.

26. Bicicles and bikes. Currently they have a bicicle they use to go to school and home. As an adult, Libby will accomplish their dream of owning a bike.

32. One of the things is the fact they're fake twins. Which usually goes to a laughing Libby saying they looked a lot less alike than they do now, and then shows kids pics of them. This of course brings forth more questions.

In a lot of earlier pics, Libby looks a lot more feminine, currently they look more masculine, and a lot of people ask them about it when they ask to show . They then go about telling a story how they tried to look more like "the guys" so they could hang out with their twin and his friends. It backfired and he ended up having to walk home naked, because they wanted to see if they had grown a dick too. Izzy didn't know that part and since he found out he hates that Libby recounts that laughing as if its just a funny story. Nothing happened bad, so Libby just likes to trivialize it and laugh about it other than dwelling on the shame of it all.

33. No. Neither Libby or Izzy are lazy. Libby heps more his vamir-ti than his vatir-mi. They're more used to taking care of the plants, helping with potions and scavanging for ingredients. Libby has a knack for finding fossyls, plants and crystals Arlo can use. So much so people say they'd make a great tomb raider for how good they are at uncovering treasures.
