Sonia vs Angie! LETS GOOOOOO!!

*Despite her small stature, Angie is able to wield the sword fairly well, as Sonia takes some swings and she counters her blows.

I have to admit! I did not expect you to be able to wield a sword!

The feeling...is mutual!

*She shoves the princess back.

Back on my island, followers of Atua carried around small swords. However, we mainly used them as a means of self defense.

Atua may be considered a strange god by many foreigners, but He is not a violent one by any means. However, that does not stop Him from being overprotective of His precious followers.

And it is for Atua’s sake you are trying to conquer this kingdom? Is that what He really wants?

I’m doing this for Him! What is so wrong with that!?

I understand your plight...

But the people of Novoselic want no part of your religion. They want freedom! Freedom to choose who they want to be!

They will be free! Free in the grace and love of Atua’s holy power!

*Angie runs up to Sonia and kicks her in the stomach. Sonia blocks the kick with her blade, but she is knocked back slightly. Angie then runs up and raises the blade above her head, meaning to bring it down on Sonia.

Humph!

*Sonia blocks the sword blade, but Angie punches her in the stomach while she has the sword in the air.

Ack! HYAH!

*Sonia backflips to stand upright again. She runs up to Angie and the two of them repeatedly clash swords, dodge cuts and take swings. At one point, Sonia brings the sword down on Angie, who blocks the attack.

Nyah!

*With an opening available, Angie suddenly pulls her crossbow from her belt, and at close range, shoots Sonia in the stomach.

AAAH!

*Sonia lurches back and rolls on the floor.

NYAH!

*Angie runs up to Sonia and tries to bring the blade down upon her head. Sonia rolls out of the way, but Angie delivers a heavy kick to her head when she does.

Ugh...nrgh...

Cease!

*Sonia crashes into the wall, and Angie tries to stab her. However, Sonia moves her head out of the way, grabs the blade, and punches Angie in the jaw.

OOF!

*Angie is knocked back, but she yanks the sword out of the wall as she does. She and Sonia continue their fight, until...

NYAH!

HUGH!

*Angie gets a solid slash at Sonia’s chest with the blade.

NyahahahahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

*Laughing like a maniac all the while, Angie then delivers a similar heavy slash to Sonia’s left leg. If carves right through her skirt and slightly through her shit too.

Nrgh...

Hrrrrgghh...I will...Not...YIELD!

*Ignoring the pain, Sonia tries to swing at Angie. However, the slash from before severely hindered her ability. Angie aims a kick at her ankle and knocks her down.

DIE!

*As Sonia falls to the ground, Angie stamps on her ribcage with all her strength.

ACKAHCH!

*Sonia vomits a hefty amount of blood out of her mouth. As she does, Angie kicks her a short distance away...

ech...uuuhgh...

...*heavy panting* ...I...I win...

Now...if you’ll excuse me...

*Angie cautiously turns her back and begins to head towards the podium, grabbing the scepter on the way.

The sun...will be here in 5 minutes...and I’ll be queen...

And my first order as the rightful ruler of the kingdom...? I will have everyone you know and love...executed...!

...exe...cuted...?

[Flashback]

...No...I will never...let that happen...again...

*With her cuts spewing an ugly amount of blood, Sonia gets back on her feet and clutches her blade handle with all her strength.

...

*Angie, in recognition, puts the Scepter down, and returns to face Sonia. When Sonia recovers fully, she lunges at her.

NYAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

*The girls, once again, continuously clash. Despite her injuries, Sonia seems unfazed, as she recalls Gundham’s execution and uses that as a motive to keep going.

Nyah! Hragh! GAH!

Hup! Hwa! HYAH!

*Angie tries to kick Sonia too, but she easily avoids said kicks.

HWAH!

Yah!

*Sonia takes a swing that just narrowly misses Angie’s face. Her hair is cut and the crown that she was wearing falls off.

Nyah!

*Angie takes some more swings at Sonia, who backtracks and dodges most of them.

HYAH!

OOF!

*Sonia trips Angie up, and she falls on one of her knees. As she does, Sonia continuously and ferociously smashes her sword into Angie’s. She does this so many times, that Angie’s blade breaks...

Nyah! AH!

...

*With death-like eyes, Sonia raises her blade above her head.

...!

...

*However, instead of landing a killing blow, she lowers her arm and plants the sword in the ground, near to Angie’s head.

...I would not advise trying to fight back...You no longer have the advantage...

...You think so?

*Angie yanks her crossbow out of her belt and aims at Sonia...

...

*However, for some reason, she doesn’t fire...

...

...No...you’re right...

*She throws the crossbow to the ground...and kneels in defeat, covered in blood.

I’ve...lost...It’s over...I’m through...

...You were an honorable opponent...If you had stronger ideals for yourself...you would have made an excellent ruler...

*Sonia, covered in blood, cuts and bruises, strides past Angie, clutches the Scepter of Tamuzan, and firmly plants in on the pedestal in the tower. The suns rays shine down, and a blue and yellow light erupts out of the Scepter, filling the room, and pouring out of the windows. The keeper of the tower raises her arms into the sky and proclaims the magic words...

Keeper of the Tower: Hail, Sonia Nevermind!
