"your feelings..." the echo followed from her lips unable to find some of her own words. his fingers were wrapped around her wrist when she had attempted to walk away after a casual remark and then he spoke. his feelings. it hurt to hope.

she had managed to neatly tuck away her own feelings for him. it wasn't easy, but she tried. she had a habit of falling for men that were not interested in her. that was alright she told herself. so carefully she tucked away the blooming, unfolding feelings that had unfurled towards lucien. how when he spoke to her it felt like she was the only one that mattered in the world. his humor and infectious laugh. how she admired his lust for life and the best it had to offer- how she wished she had a bit more of it herself, but basked in the afterglow of his. somewhere in their friendship she had fallen for the way he said her name and his eyes that danced with mirth. and she had locked it away. sure it would never be reciprocated. till now.

now as her delicate wrist was brushed over his fingers and she saw something else burning in his eyes. there was a whisper of hope burgeoning in her chest that she tried to contain as she spoke again hoarsely. "what feelings...what were you lying about?"

Freya smiled as Lucien spoke. She'd been unsure for a while now on how she felt about him. Her family was telling her one thing but the beating in her chest somehow told her another. A conflict she hadn't wished to come across so soon to reuniting with her family, putting herself at stake to lose them all over again if she admitted her fondness.

One thing I love about your portrayal is how you really truly understand his thinking, everything, the best. You’ve captured his essence. A friend and I once decided a post you wrote one of his views was more thought than Julie Plec ever put into Tristan.

What is ONE THING you like about the way i play my character?

Elijah: Well, how very fortunate, indeed, then. Niklaus is on his way right now to put Lucien out of our collective misery. Tristan: You have to stop him.

(Choosing this scene because Tristan does technically save Lucien's life here and let's be honest...He doesn't ever do all that many positive things for his fake little brother) Julie Plec is more than likely a more reasonable person than me. The amount of time I invested and enjoyed exploring the facets of Tristan constitutes what most would qualify as a peculiar life choice. That being said, I regret nothing. Thank you!

Without a care in the world she left as easy as she came. Letting her arms free and doing a couple of twirls just for the fun of it while talking. "Lord Tristan de Martel is a visionary and a genius. The greatest man I know and my guardian angel. So yeah. It is a lot of fun to serve him Mr CEO. Even if he didn't spoil me with grimoires and little magical treasures that would blow the mind of other witches, and we are talking literally with some of them, or if he didn't protect me from everything the way he does, this would still be my dream life." She stopped the playful whirls and shrugged her shoulders.

There was a brief moment of joy at seeing her friend arrive before forest green eyes took in his frame now slumped against a wall, his eyes feverish and countenance fallen. Immediately she dropped the bridle in hand and rushed over to him, her hands brushing over his forehead to feel his temperature as she questioned his state.

"Forget the horses, you're burning up. How long have you had this?" She gasped as the beads of sweat from his hair dampened her hand and she immediately tucked herself under his arm to support him. "You have to get back in bed, Lucien. You can barely stand- lean on me. You cannot be here in this state."

        katherine should be amused by the arrogance of old(er) vampires (but at the same time she asks herself if she is perhaps the same?), nonetheless, she didn't feel like laughing.

        "i'm fairly certain you're threatening me. which wouldn't be advisable. but hey, you probably don't know me." which doesn't change the fact that she despises being talked to like some kind of servant. she's not the messenger in here.
