sometimes I stay up at night & think about all the kirk/spock girlies who have passed away like? you loved them too didn't you? you loved them just as much as me, did you think of them one last time? I hope you found your th'y'la in your lifetime. I'm glad we are all connected through them.
I started "Dreams of the Raven" and despite the synopsis being something that would lead you to believe this is a tense book it starts out with the Triumvirate getting held at gunpoint while discussing how to open conversations with aliens-
Lots of people say that William Shatner must have been possessed by the actual spirit of the real Jim Kirk when acting as him, and that’s definitely true.
But if that was true, could Leonard Nimoy also have been possessed by the spirit (or katra, I guess) of Spock?
Like, he knew and understood his character so well, better than some of the show’s writers even. In his autobiography I Am Not Spock, he discusses having conversations in his head between himself and Spock.
And some people may not like this, but I feel that now that same spirit has moved on to inhabit Ethan Peck, who plays the character almost equally well if you ask me.
(As for Zachary Quinto, I’m talking specifically about the spirit of Spock Prime, so a different character and therefore spirit in his case.)
