Where did this gag come from? I seem to recall there’s a story behind it.
Jay: There was a Burger King in Hamilton, New York, where we went to school. We’d roll through this drive-thru and get these large Cokes. And in the middle of the semester they got a new manager, and the manager was from Canada. And he just insisted that the large was now called a liter. And, you know, we were pretty jingoistic, anti-metric-system guys, and I was like, “I’m not ordering a liter, I’m ordering a large Coke!” And he goes, “We don’t have that.” He goes, “Order a liter!” I’m like, “I’m not ordering a liter!” And it went like that for a while — and we got him back.

Quasi Trailer
Broken Lizard and Searchlight Pictures’ Quasi follows the titular Quasi, working as a torturer in medieval France. BUT, it’s Pope Week and Quasi wins top prize -a one-on-one confession with the Pope. Yay! Quasi is also looking for love and just may have found it, with a royal person, no less. Then again, things might not be so great as the hunchback finds himself caught between a murderous feud between the Pope and the King of France when each orders Quasi to kill the other.
Quasi stars Steve Lemme as Quasi alongside Kevin Heffernan, Paul Soter, Adrianne Palicki, Jay Chandrasekhar, and Erik Stolhanske. Heffernan serves as director and wrote the script with Lemme, Chandrasekhar, Soter, and Stolhanske.
Quasi hits Hulu on April 20, 2023.

I’m sorry if I hurt anybody’s feelings the parentals…
It’s always been very fresh kind of like the way I talk about Brenda or the way the kids are like Linda Linda
Yeah
It’s a thing a style thing. I forget that shit sometimes honestly
Because I was always a very independent little girl I think so if you know what I’m talking about probably
Well, I had to kind of improvise when I was a teenager. I had every intention of sharing candy with people. I just didn’t have any intention of sharing my goddamn work.
Sharon !! They love you!
It’s just awful there’s always kind of that weird tension. Oh God I mean it’s terrible. The J kids are like Linda Linda.

They’re all too gross to all women, facts.
Dr lang needs to be taken in the backyard and beaten, probably but allegedly that’s not nice
But somethings not right. You gotta know when to flee to another country even for medicine

Club Dread (2004)
In today's review, I find the Costa-Rican Sun a perfect place for a comedy slasher. As I attempt a #positive review of the 2004 slasher parody film Club Dread.

A parody can look deep into a lucrative idea, especially one that has been repeated often. Trading off clichés with clever comebacks, and cringeworthy exchanges, especially in the early 2000s when the parody genre was riding high. In 2004, with the combination of teen beachside comedy and copious killing, the comedy troupe, Broken Lizard, took to the sunny shores of Mexico to tell a tale of…

Stream It Or Skip It: ‘Quasi’ on Hulu, A Half-Baked Hunchback Comedy from Broken Lizard
Right on time for 4-20, here comes the newest comedy from stoner legends Broken Lizard: Quasi, now streaming on Hulu. The cannabis-fueled comedy troupe dials back the weed and amps up the wildness in this parody of a legendary Victor Hugo novel. But does that make them high-minded or HIGH-minded? (Sorry, last one … for now.)
QUASI: STREAM IT OR SKIP IT?
The Gist: “All you need to know about…
