So I know we won't see Microverse (excuse me, "Quantum Realm") inhabitants like the Micronauts or Baron Karza in Quantumania.  Marvel seems to have given up the ghost even on those Micronaut elements they owned outright. But I wonder if we'll see (even in cameo form) some Subatomica natives such as Jarella or the Psycho Man?

Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them and then post a little snippet of it or tell them something about it! and then tag as many people as you have WIPs.

Bruce's biological parents are dead. (TW: alcoholism, Child abuse, character death, DID, toxic use of religion) || Bruce's dad Brian never wanted him and was convinced his own work with radiation meant his son would be a monster. He was an alcoholic and physically abusive. Bruce's mom tried to escape with Bruce, but Brian killed her. Bruce witnessing this lead to his Dissociative Identity Disorder. Brian threatened Bruce with hell if he told anyone and made him lie in court.Brian slipped up and went to jail anyway.||
Bruce's father made him wary of any kind of strong emotion. Bruce was reserved but had bursts of anger.
Bruce's saving grace was his Aunt Susan Banner. She loved him.
And she's the reason Bruce is kind and compassionate and loving. And without her, Bruce would've been so much worse. And I don't think comics acknowledges her enough.
Bruce's most successful relationships have been with opinionated, loving, women. Betty, Jarella, ~~Caiera~~.
I imagine Aunt Susan was tough because she survived her father and her brother and she was a Banner, too. She was the nice scrapbooking Midwestern Aunt who would shoot at foxes for trying to eat her chickens. In comics, she was divorced and I need to read more but I headcanon she chose Bruce over Mr. Drake. And if any man had a problem with her nephew, she didn't need them anyway. She chose Bruce who would be shy but so angry sometimes. She chose him again and again. She chose everyday.
And choosing to love is why Bruce Banner saved some teen he didn't know. It's why he keeps fighting. It's why he keeps going. Because it's not just about loving other people, it's about loving yourself, too.
I headcanon Bruce thinks of having two mothers in his head. His bio mom who protected him until she couldn't and the mom who saved him.
They forget Aunt Susan when they retell Bruce's story over and over but I won't.
Hulk just wants to be loved. And he always wishes his Dad loved him, but he doesn't wish his mothers loved him. He already knows she and Aunt Susan did.

At least when Betty Ross turns into Red Harpy she looks like a monstrous Harpy, like something out of a horror film.
Ikr??? But I am certain that has to with the fact Harpy was written to be Hulks enemy. Making her technically a villain in the comic.
Marvel has no issue making women powerful, muscular beasts so long as they aren't the hero or love interest. Which then explains why Betty is dainty and fragile and "feminine" (in it's traditional male view) but Harpy isn't.
"Betty remained in love with Bruce, but after learning that Bruce also loved Jarella, eventually she allowed herself to fall in love with Glenn, and they were soon married. Glenn joined a mission to rescue Thaddeus and was successful, but Glenn himself was captured. When Betty learned of her husband's supposed death, she suffered a nervous breakdown. M.O.D.O.K discovered Betty's condition and decided to take advantage of it. In order to create a creature powerful enough to defeat the Hulk, he infused an incredible amount of gamma radiation into her, making her the monstrous and insane Harpy. The dreadful creature broke out of a special shell, immediately wanting to know where the Hulk was so that she could kill him."

If She-Hulk, Jen, were meant to be a villain we would have seen her with bulging muscles and a large frame. But she's a hero so...ya know, was never gonna happen.

Is a perfectly acceptable version of how She-Hulk should have looked. Large and muscular and still maintaining elements of "femininity". She still has silky smooth hair and nice facial features...she's just not slim and small. Marvel are cowards and need to issue a redesign.
Not only would that depiction of She-Hulk be far more interesting than this...thing we have so far, but it would also be a good step forward in representation in their series'. Women can be strong and muscular while still being feminine and "womanly", a concept that desperately needs more representation. They had the opportunity to do so yet still opted for their run of the mill Jolly Green Giant CGI sexist shit.

Favorite Hulk Love Interest?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As a character I love Betty more, especially as the Red Harpy, I hope we'll see more of her. As a love interest however that'd be Caiera. I don't really like the Betty/Bruce dynamic as a romance, no matter how much they love each others they're too toxic, neither Bruce nor Betty can fully love the monster within each others (though I really love Joe/Betty) but I love the tragic side of their love story, but it's a tragedy, it's not meant for happy ending. I love Jarella too but I gotta pick one so. I love answering these ask so feel free to send more. As soon as I have less work I'll do my best to answer through small doodles to make it more interesting
