That's right, I'm writing a new Homestuck (not Hiveswap) fanfic that continue the alternative epilogue I started with Negotiated Consent and continued with Ways of Being. It deals with some of the same thematic ground as the post-canon content for Homestuck, but approaches it from a more grounded point of view that tries to be empathetic to the characters and what they went through.

Roll that sweet, sweet descriptive text:

In an alternate Earth-C where June Egbert never made the fateful choice to indulge in meat or candy, Jane Crocker doesn't know what she wants to do with her life. Jane Crocker has devoted her life on Earth-C to becoming a doctor - to being a healer to try to make up for the darkness that she glimpsed within herself. But as she tries to help Terezi navigate her own depression and psychological torment, she begins to question the direction she's chosen for herself, and wonder what any of it means when she's facing down the possibility of an eternity of life.
