• keith can get slightly aggressive and harsh without realizing it, especially with his words. he’s worked on it, and he’s gotten better with the way he speaks when he’s getting frustrated, but sometimes the aggression slips out.

• so as you’re arguing, keith’s jaw tightens before he raises his voice, making you flinch because he’s nearly yelling, and every word makes guilt pound against your chest like he’s pinning everything on you.

• keith sees it immediately, stopping and inhaling slowly before releasing a calm, slow sigh. your eyes are glassy, like you’re about to cry, and he carefully takes your hands and squeezes them.

• “i’m sorry,” he says sheepishly, embarrassed that he let his emotions rule over again. “i didn’t want to yell, let’s just—just talk, okay? i’m sorry,” keith apologizes again, then kisses your temple.

lance mcclain

• lance doesn’t like getting in arguments. he just finds it pointless to yell at each other, but sometimes it gets to that point where you’re both frustrated and raising your voice.

• while you’re both trying to get each other’s point across, lance scratches his head in frustration and groans, wanting this to be over and done with, but neither of you would give in.

• you flinched when he raised his arm, thinking that he would physically hurt you somehow and exhaling a shaky sigh when he didn’t, feeling slightly guilty that you had immediately assumed the worst.

• lance noticed and softened. “did you think i was going to hurt you?” he asked, and you nodded, muttering a small yes before immediately adding, “i’m sorry, i don’t know why i reacted like that—”

• “don’t apologize,” lance cuts you off, gently taking your hand and tugging you close. “i don’t want to fight anymore, okay? can we talk it out? i hate arguing with you.”

james griffin

• james can be easily frustrated. he’s always busy, considering that he was an military officer, and with barely any free time for himself. when he does, he just wants to spend it with you.

• like many relationships though, disagreements occur that sometimes result into arguments, and with the weight of being a military officer piling onto problems with you, it does not mix well.

• “fuck! y/n, can you just…” james rubs at his temples, feeling his face growing hot. “i’m already stressed as it is, can we just not do this right now?!” he says, not even remembering what the point of the argument was to begin with.

• you flinch a little, taking a step back when he yelled, face getting warmer.

• james sighed, guilt drumming in his chest when he saw the look on your face.

• “i—” he sighed, chewing on his bottom lip for a moment before sitting you both down on the bed. “i didn’t mean to yell. i’m sorry, it’s—it’s not your fault, okay? i’m sorry,” he murmurs, pressing a kiss to your cheek.

This is super random but did you write a fanfic for voltron with lance, Keith, and James as crime bosses? If not ignore me but this fanfic has haunted me and I cannot find it

I did write a Voltron fanfic with Lance and James as crime bosses while Keith was a cop who was initially trying to take them down.

I deleted this fic since there ended up being a lot of hateful comments (not just towards me, but also towards other people who were commenting on the fic) strewn about the various chapters. It was just too much, and I didn't want to keep it up if people were just going to use it as a hate platform.

I'm sorry if you genuinely enjoyed that fic, but I couldn't let it stay up with all of the toxicity rotating in it.

guys leiffin is growing on me like i love them oh so much and i love them headcanon that ina was in james’ and keith’s school before the garrison

i know it’s not canon but like freckles? blonde hair? blue eyes? it’s ina!!!!!! (/hj)

i love that headcanon and then she was also in the galaxy garrison when garrison trio was there because she is actually there in the first episode

(this time it is canonically her) (and we know already that james is in the garrison at this time despite him not being in this episode, season 7 episode 1 shows keith’s backstory and james, lance and hunk are in the garrison at this time so it’s safe to assume she also is seeing as she’s in the garrison at the same time as the garrison trio)

i love childhood friends to lovers trope and that is literally james and ina! also the fact that she doesn’t talk much but when she does she’s spouting data and james seems used to it. (they’re in love trust)

also i’m just going to add my own headcanons here, i think ina is trans because she just is. also she has an eidetic memory (did i spell that right) and autism.
