Trieste, presentata nella Sala Giunta la proiezione del docufilm "100 anni e più di sport giuliano - Atleti nella storia" Presentata oggi (10 gennaio) nella Sala Giunta del Comune di Trieste, alla presenza dell'assessore allo Sport, Elisa Lodi e dell'autore, Dario Roccavini, la proiezione del docufilm "100 anni e più di sport giuliano - Atleti nella storia", in programma domenica 14 gennaio alle ore 9.45 nella Sala Luttazzi in Porto Vecchio/Porto Vivo. L'evento è realizzato in collaborazione con il Comune di Trieste – Assessorato con delega per la Promozione ed Eventi sportivi. "Oggi presentiamo un evento in programma il 14 gennaio nella Sala Luttazzi, aperto a tutta la cittadinanza. Si tratta di un docufilm che Dario Roccavini con un grande lavoro è riuscito a realizzare raccogliendo la storia di campioni e campionesse dello sport delle nostre terre, a partire dai primi del '900 fino ai giorni nostri. Dario Roccavini ha ringraziato l'assessore Elisa Lodi e il Comune di Trieste, per la disponibilità dimostrata. Il suo primo docufilm dal titolo "Unione Sportiva Triestina, 100 anni di storia alabardata" l'ha realizzato nel 2018 e raccontava il secolo di storia della gloriosa Unione. Immagini, sequenze inedite e ricordi dal 1918 fino alla stagione di Pavanel. Sono seguiti altri docufilm, sempre sugli sport di squadra, ora, invece, ha voluto dedicarsi agli sport individuali. Il docufilm è frutto di un accurato lavoro di ricerca e di montaggio ed è suddiviso in due tempi di 60 minuti e descrive i successi di campioni e campionesse triestini, quasi 400, istriani, fiumani e dalmati che, dal primo '900 ai giorni nostri hanno preso parte alle Olimpiadi conquistando anche allori, vincendo titoli mondiali, europei, mediterranei ed italiani, conseguito titoli per Trieste, pur non essendo originari della Venezia Giulia, o si sono distinti in alcuni sport in modo significativo. Sono state prese in considerazione le seguenti discipline sportive: atletica leggera, automobilismo, baseball, bob, calcio, canottaggio, ciclismo, duathlon e triathlon, equitazione, football americano, ginnastica, golf, hockey in line, hockey su pista, hockey su prato, judo, karate, kayak, kung fu, lotta, motonautica, nuoto, pallacanestro, pallamano, pallanuoto, pallavolo, pattinaggio, pattinaggio corsa, pentathlon, pesca subacquea, pesistica, pugilato, rugby, scacchi, scherma, sci, sci d'erba, sci nautico, sci nordico, ski roll, softball, sport subacquei, tennis, tennis tavolo, tiro a segno, tiro a volo, tiro con l'arco, tuffi, vela. Solo per citare alcuni campioni presenti nel docufilm: Ottavio Missoni, Giordano Cottur, Mario Andretti, Irene Camber, Nereo Rocco, Nino Benvenuti.
