Synopsis
Magic — a century has passed since this concept has been recognized as a formal technology instead of the product of the occult or folklore.
The season is spring and it is time for a brand new school year. At the National Magic University First Affiliate High School, A.K.A Magic High School, students are divided into two distinct groups according to their academic performances. The “Bloom,” who demonstrate the highest grades and are enrolled in the “First Course,” and the “Weed,” who have a poor academic record and are enrolled in the “Second Course.”
This spring, a very peculiar siblings enroll as new students. The brother is an under achiever with some deficiencies, who enrolls as a “Weed,” and his younger sister is an honor student, who enrolls as a “Bloom.” The brother, who with a somewhat philosophical expression, and the younger sister, who holds feelings a little stronger than sibling love for him: Ever since these two have entered through the gates of this prestigious school, the calm campus was beginning to change.
The Honor at Magic High School TV Anime Reveals 2nd Visual Alongside Additional Cast Members
The Irregular at Magic High School spin-off TV anime series The Honor at Magic High School released a new visual today before the adaptation of Yu Mori and Tsutomu Sato's manga series starts on July 3. Alongside the visual, some returning voice actors were confirmed from the main series alongside some new voice actors we'll be hearing when school starts as well as more staff members!
Hideki Tachibana (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? II & III) is attached to direct The Honor at Magic High School, alongside sub-director Takashi Watanabe (Shakugan no Shana), series composition writer Tsuyoshi Tamai (Pastel Memories), and character designer Ryosuke Yamamoto and Takao Sano. Taku Iwasaki (Bungo Stray Dogs) will be providing the music, with the anime being produced at CONNECT (Oresuki). The newly announced staff members include:

The Honor at Magic High School follows the story of the original work but through the eyes of Tatsuya's sister Miyuki. The manga is drawn by Yu Mori with Tsutomu Sato, the original author of The Irregular at Magic High School franchise providing the story. Yen Press is releasing the series in English, describing it as such:
A century has passed since magic--true magic, the stuff of legends--has returned to the world. It is spring, the season of new beginnings, and a new class of students is about to begin their studies at the First National Magic University Affiliated High School, nickname: First High.
A manga spin-off of the immensely popular light novel series The Irregular at Magic High School, The Honor Student at Magic High School follows the events of the original series as seen through the eyes of Miyuki Shiba, Tatsuya's sister. The life of an honor student comes with a lot of expectations...and unexpected hidden feelings?!
The Honor at Magic High School is scheduled to begin on TOKYO MX at 11:30 PM.
