Ok, imagine this with me, he just woke up, was done with his hair so it was... like it usually was and just put the mirror on like some TV

You following me, right? Well he was staring at it with an open mouth watching how you wanted everyones bread for the first two minutes

And once the shock is gone he is going mad

“ARE THEY NOT FEEDING YOU WELL??!”

Then he remembers that this is not your real body and just some shell so you can experience this world

But then... what are you doing? Is this something in another culture? Is he missing something here?

He just sat there, staring at your body in this world and how it didn't move for about half an hour (you probably went to grab a bite)

He almost screamed when you suddenly jumped up and sprinted to the next baker

Oh I also forgot to mention, you were screaming “BRRREEEAAADDDD” (you doing that. Not me. I'm just an author)

That was rather... u elegant but he can pass this...

Until you go to the next person and repeat the whole “gimme your bread” thingy

I told you, that mirror better learn how to fly and that fast

You want bread? YOU WANT BREAD??! Fine, then you shall get bread

Suddenly someone appears out of nowhere, handing you a basket filled with bread, saying “in the name of the king”

Maybe he will even get so annoyed that he will try to poison his brother yet again but this time with bread (imagine, it was not an apple but bread XD)

But if you thought about giving it to one of the suitors I would advise you to forget that

You know, he has a certain special magic and he might have done something to the bread that would affect them but not you... Just might (nah he has definitely done something to it)

So bread is the way into your heart huh?

Forget his apple carving skills! *sobs* He is going to learn how to bake bread!

The kitchen looked like it was a battlefield after the first time... why was there a knife sticking out of the bowl?

But anyway, he is trying his best

But why did he decide to walk the treacherous path of bread baking?

Well... you were screaming like a madman and telling everyone to give you bread

Oh boy was he happy that the people would forget what happened after you would restart the game or loaded an earlier safe file

Lowkey embarrassed but then it struck him!

If you want bread that badly then he shall make it!

He was so motivated that he totally forgot that this body of yours can't even get hungry

Remember that he is also the poison dealer which would hand the king the poison to finally reach his goals in the plot of the game?

That left over bread which isn't 100% perfect doesn't get thrown away, no

Bread can actually soak up a lot of liquids so just a few drops of this and that... there, his next client should be pleased

Also, might use the power of the oh-so-malicious poisoned bread to make sure Neige doesn't come close, he can't have the main plot ending too fast after all (falling off a cliff hurts)

But in the end he can bake bread like a champion

Just don't take the bread from that basket. That other one is for you. Oh why? Well... he made it for that nice person you met yesterday. Had to take extra measures because of an allergy... want to deliver it with you?

Random Despair Time thoughts

Mainly just notes for myself, I doubt there’s any overly shocking insights in this XD Spoilers ahead...

Firstly, the remaining secrets. I’m pretty sure David lied about Xander’s. (It actually feels pretty obvious, tbh?) What he claimed to be Xander’s secret is most likely Teruko’s… keeping in mind how the game started. He might have done that simply because saying in the middle of the trial that Teruko is the reason behind the killing game… well, it sure would have made a mess of everything. Xander’s real secret probably is the one Min had, about the dead family (there’s the Visiting Graves extra too which very strongly points in that direction). (Now, does David know that that Min had Xander’s secret? Otherwise it’d be a bit risky to claim he had Xander's secret, cause someone else might have the real one.)

Anyway, as for David’s secret… I’m relatively sure it’s the manipulation one. It fits a bit too well… :/ Could be wrong, of course.

As for the other ones, the “harm yourself for fun” thing sure makes one think of Veronika… ^^;;

The murderer… could be Levi. He’s shown he’s got moments when his temper flares. But no remorse, huh? I wonder.

…and would Hu be the poisoner? That’d… be something. But somehow, I don’t find it too unbelievable. This might be about some big music competition, and it might not even be any serious poisoning. Some laxatives would be enough to make sure you’re not on the stage competing.

Oh, I almost forgot the 3 suicide attempts one! Would that be Min, then? Again… I could sort of see it… tho she definitely wasn’t someone wanting to die at the end of ch.1. And thinking about her bonus episode… she had this goal all her life, to be able to become the Ultimate Student. Would she have tried to throw it all away, three times? Though who knows? I mean, it must have been really tough for her, and maybe it got too much, at times? Maybe she thought she’d not be able to do it?

Hmm. Or then I should switch Hu and Min? Maybe there were some study competitions Min was desperate to win? I’m not sure if the suicides really fit Hu, though……. Or then, switching Veronika and Min? Maybe Veronika was the “hopeless child,” and Min didn’t get so focused on becoming the Ultimate Student for her family but instead in order to stop herself from harming herself?

Wait, Veronika had the suicide motive, right? Then it shouldn't be hers, if no one got their own. On the other hand, this is Veronika we're talking about… maybe she lied about that, and she did get her own motive. Maybe that's why she wasn't telling whose it is? That… sounds like something she would do. Besides, you'd think someone ends up with their own motive, if they're distributed randomly. Okay… I might be guessing that that's actually Veronika's secret, and then Min's is the "harming yourself" one?

Okay, so, I’ve no idea. XD Here’s some other random things. But first, I'm gonna put this here so it's easier to find it if I want to take another look at it…

Ok, the other things. Firstly, the MonoTV. Are there at least two people controlling it? First MonoTV gave Teruko new clothes, and a bit later asked her if she has new clothes cause she “looks a bit different” or something like that. Either the computer has some missing memory, or then there are several people involved who might not know all the details of what the other(s) do. And one of them is apparently into fashion (and one definitely not so, barely noticing that Teruko has changed clothes.) (Which I love, btw. Characters actually not wearing the same clothes every single day? Wow. ^^)

Secondly, Xander. Did he pull a Rantaro and somehow leave himself a message about killing Teruko? Does he have some kind of a DID condition or something such? I mean, that thing he said, that he needs to trust himself… sounded quite peculiar. Though he also said, why did you tell me to kill her... So which is it? Someone else, or he himself, who told him to do that? That simple note, “kill Teruko Tawaki” doesn’t quite sound enough to make him do it… but… I wonder, what if it was in his things, written in his handwriting? Well, I’ve no clue, but I’m quite curious about this, and I bet I’m not alone here. XD

Hmm… what else? That redhaired girl who looks like Xander that Teruko remembered? Is she the unnamed classmate in the bonus episodes? But she sure looks a lot like Xander, too much that I could think that it would be a coincidence. But still, if Xander’s family is dead… hmm. I even had the utterly weird idea at one point that what if Xander is trans XD (But then that girl couldn’t have been with him in the train. If it was her, that is.)

…I feel like I had something else in mind too, but… I can’t remember what it was. Oh well. I guess that’s enough for tonight.

k so iirc jeff the killer wrote the little red book of commulism and that's where we're at in the story. I think. bnha s5e15-e19. also hawks has maybe murdered a guy cuz he's a quintuple agent or whateverthefuck. (I know stain is dead… uh, I think… but like still, we haven't heard about him in ages, huh. never did really grasp what his whole deal was, anyway.)

hawks can use his feathers as listening devices? sheesh, some of these guys get so many weird subpowers.

…yeah, endeavor would be able to keep up with deku's complicated power-analysis stuff with the percentages and whatnot in conversation. he's a minmaxer, just ask his kids. guy plays RL like it's Dorf Fortress.

Selkie… maybe B-tier? A-tier? I don't really remember who all was where when I did that list thing, but anyway he's pretty cool. -- "they boarded us? where? how?" "because I'm a seal!" 'XD

ah, uraraka got a grapple shot thing. characters keep, like, noticing when they missed something in this and getting themselves some gadget or technique to cover it so they don't miss the same trick twice. it's neat. it's a whole fricking roster of learning robots.

"they were heading to Otheon" othewhat. …okay, phew, I was kinda hoping it wasn't real 'XD

…a family dinner at the todoroki's. -- calling it, everything's gonna go more or less, idk, stable until bakugo opens his mouth. or that other brother that's there, forget his name, I guess he could start something.

endeavor having his "how do I fix this?" soliloquy again, as if he has any valid moves beyond just disengaging from his family and trying not to fuck things up like that again in the future. kinda wonder if he ever figures that out, or if the writer decides that somehow he does get redemption. any price endeavor could pay would feel far too low. -- like, I don't get "this character makes no sense" vibes from endeavor like I do with bakugo; endeavor and his family feel intelligently-written to me. …remembering that bakugo is in this show, though, makes me worry that endeavor's and/or shoto's storyline could end up going somewhere that, like, won't sit right.

"I'm sure one day… our whole family… together…" the sister is out of her damn mind, but it's not like [people in abusive families being optimistic like that] is unrealistic either -- Natsu. Fuyumi, I think, is the sister? they'll show her name again, I'm sure

deku is dang near whispering to todoroki here about "are you getting ready to forgive him?" and everybody in the entire house can hear him. fucking rice paper walls (probably not actually but they apparently are very thin walls), gawd that's terrifying

OOOH! Fun question because I actually JUST baked a cake! and it was a DISASTER- Me and my cousin were baking together and she misread the ingredients and added like... a cup and a half less flour then what was needed. I kept saying "it's finnnneeee-" and then it kept getting worse. In the end it was more of a crunchy, cake flavored, crumbly.... thing? XD

I don't bake often but I love it when I do and I am normally pretty good at it- idk what happened today. Lol. I like to bake apple pies the most!

Hmmmm favorite animal is tricky... I like frogs, cats, and snails a lot.

My absolute favorite piece of media will probably always be The Adventure Zone. It's a looooong podcast so for many people it is hard to get them into it, but it's one of my favorite things ever. It's a D&d podcast where three brothers and their father start of goofing and joking the whole time and then sometime after the first to second ark it becomes not just fun jokes and characters to something MUCH bigger. The twist at the end is one of the most interesting and well written twists I have ever seen.... I love it so much.

Do you like to bake? and if so, have you ever failed as spectacularly as I did today? Do you have any pets? (I can't have pets where I live, but I want a cat soooo bad)

I'm glad your cake thing turned out semi edible at least! I really like to bake, mostly simpler stuff like cookies and bread! My favorite thing to make is foccacia bread! I think my biggest screw ups were when I made chocolate chip cookies for the first time, but I didn't understand that you had to mix the stuff in like specific orders, so I just dumped everything into the same bowl and mixed it all at once. It was... interesting. Did not turn out like regular cookies, that's for sure. And once I tried making sweet rolls, and I was using a stand mixer, and I forgot about the dough while it was mixing. So it got WAY over kneaded and they turned out like literal rocks instead of rolls.

I do have pets! I have 2 English Setters names Jake and Feather, and I have 3 cats! One is named Gnocchi, we don't know what she is, but she is my sweet little baby who I would die for! We think the other 2 are Manx cats, cause they have naturally short tails. One is named Karma, cause she's a bitch, and the other is her kitten named Cannoli (we call her rolly polly nolly tho). Nolly is 12 weeks and a little terror just like her mother 💛 I also have 2 fish, one a Johanni Cichlid named Ares, and the other a goldfish named Henry ll. (Rip Henry the First, he was murdered by Ares so now there is a divider in the tank keeping Henry 2 and Ares seperated.) And now that I've talked about my fish I realize that I forgot to say my all-time favorite childhood book series! It was The Underland Chronicles, and Ares is named after 1 of the characters!

Also I've actually been looking for a D&D podcast to listen to recently so I'll have to check that out!

Now more questions for you! What are/were your favorite and least favorite school subjects? Did you/do you have a favorite stuffed animal? And

Clea and Evil!Stephen:

You said "I forgot how much the MCU plays into the comics. The murderer is part of the MCU."

I understood "Someone who is/was in the MCU did it. This means the MCU-version of the character killed 616!Stephen."

So, who in the MCU can travel universes? Evil!Stephen, as far as I understood it. Also he murdered Cloakie and another Stephen. So, that's our murderer.

Now, the next part is a bit messy. On one hand, I wanted Clea to fight whoever killed Stephen (and to win). I can totally see her being angry with the murderer.

On the other hand, I want a long conversation between Clea and Evil!Stephen about loosing someone you love dearly, grief, overreacting because of grief, and finding your way out. Both are in similiar situations and I think Clea could go down a very dark path. (Doesn't mean she should or I would like it.) It could probably help them both.

(I don't think we'll see this. So far the MCU didn't treat grief well (Steve but mainly Wanda). (I've been through grief albeit a different one than those two.)

(Speaking of things that won't happen: DS:MoM with 616!Clea as Earth's Sorceress Supreme, Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Anthony Stark, and Evil!Stephen. Those three would get along like a house in fire. In a good way.)

Oh, okay!! So pretty and quick explanation. I didn't say that the MCU played a part on the murder. I said that the person who gave me a hint on the murderer told me that "we underestimated the MCU". I didn’t know who did it, I was surprised as much as everyone else haha.

But truth be told, Kaecilius isn't a part of the MCU, he was introduced in the comics since Strange Tales. I suppose my source was showing me a way to narrow down the murderer since Kaecilius has a more significant role in the MCU than comics.

But no, comics and MCU hardly crash in the same universe, except for some easter eggs as seen in Gwenpool. So I didn't mean that someone from the actual MCU did it.

Now, regarding your hc... I really liked this idea of Clea and Evil!Stephen talking though their differences! I don't think Evil!Stephen would keep murdering people after everything he has lost (especially Christine), so maybe it could be a misunderstanding at first? But if Kaecilius were still alive, I'm sure Clea would go FERAL (as she should). From what Jed revealed, I'm expecting Clea to be like that hehe xD

And yes, Clea, Evil!Stephen and Tony would all get along, I love this!! Thank you for clarifying your question!

Well, I did enjoy it!! There's kind of weird Japanese humor if you squint, but overall? I loved it, hehe. It's about three guys, whose lives are miserable, and one day they meet up together and then get teleported into a place identical to where they are, except there are no people and there are a lot of life or death games. I like stuff like this, I've also watched "Escape Room" which is pretty similar, though it's a single movie, while AitB is a series

Ohhh I've heard of that one!! I kind of forgot about it though, but I'll watch it someday haha:D

Daizo was later placed in a jail cell completely battered and bruised from Okashi.
