Art and Life Updates, Future Planning

(will be a bit personal, pardon me!)

I've been resting from drawing (in terms of making 'full art piece') for the past few months if anyone notice? People who followed me on Twitter might also notice how a bit absent I was from drawing full art, or contributing to fandom freely like I used to ><

The truth is, aside from waiting for commission clients, I'm actually have been participating in this zine for months, as I did contribute a piece and another small illust for the cover collaboration!

Beside that, I'm also testing my luck applying jobs left and right IRL. I guess it's been the almost 2 years since I graduated from university, but I barely receive any 'proper' love calls from any companies I've tried to apply to as any position possible. And my mental health has been unstable thanks to this problem as well haha!

I cried a lot, but at the same time...I'm so fast at getting back on track, trying, failing again, and the cycle repeats. It's been like this since June 2022, where my latest contract ends and my full independent freelance gigs starts. For the latest application experiences, I also try to apply for art editor and concept artist position, which requires me for creating new stuffs for its technical test + reason of most of my content absence (sadly again, I didn't pass the evaluation XD)

I did doodle a simple things and sketch anything, both traditionally and digitally, also grow back my love for gaming uwu. I think some (read: those who follows on twitter) already noticed that I've been playing Suikoden series (1, 2, Tierkreis -> with emulator for android) and Cookie Run Kingdom ^q^ Also the classic farming game like Stardew Valley and Graveyard Keeper! It's so fun and refreshing, and makes me less stressful to think about drawing!

But as I receive the latest rejection letter, I've been meaning to share some of my plans that I've considered:

I might gonna share the rejected concept art here, since I love the design so much ^q^ but of course in more refined visdev format!

I also wants to focus on practice, and I may or may not share those things? I'm not sure about other creators but I have this annual 'improvement stuck' moment where I feel like I kept being in comfort zone and trying to find anything I'm lacking and explore it, to test if I'm capable to do that certain new things or not. Be it art technique, hobbies, etc.

I do have a plan to join the hitsuhina week, but I can't promise if I can contribute everyday + in form of full art piece like I used to. It'll be more doodly/sketchy, idk, but I guess what matters is the overall concept that were delivered!

Related with point number 2, as I want to focusing on practice, I also want to revisit older personal projects. I have some OCs that I created during middle school and can't stop thinking about them TwT so I wish to explore their lore back >< which means less fandom content? Who knows.

Re-promote my commission form! I won't change the price for full-color, but I'll add different style options like previous commission that comes with much more cheaper or at least affordable prices for anyone who still wish to get something from me ^^ I'm still going to accept any client, beside job seeking IRL. I mean, I still need some personal income despite still living with my family?

So these are pretty much what I've been planning. Everything may or may not goes according to plan, but it won't hurt to give it a try and let it flow. So I close this post with this mantra:

I've had this AU Spiderfrost in my head so long I thought I'd throw the prologue out here... as a teaser...maybe the first chapter... and see if anyone wants me to continue... No underage stuff. But eventual relationship/explicit.

Post IW - After Loki saves Tony's life they become best friends. Before Tony leaves to save the world he asks Loki to keep an eye out for Peter if anything happens to him.

In the aftermath of Tony's death, Loki becomes Peter's unseen guardian, friend and eventual lover. Soonafter, a gift they receive the Ancient One makes Loki believe there's more to the relationship than Tony's machinations.

Thinking of calling it As The World Falls Down.

"It's the boy. Peter. You do this for him."

"It's the boy. Peter. You do this for him."

Tony considered Loki’s question as he swirled the whiskey in his glass, questioning his motivation for the millionth time.

"And the friends we lost," Tony shrugged. "But yeah. Peter was…" Tony sighed and smiled to himself. "Peter was an amazing human being, Lokes. So fucking smart. He had so much potential. And it just blew away in the wind. I feel responsible for that."

Tony closed his eyes to the sting of tears, breathed deep and let the song of the insects and nightbirds calm him. It was so dark down by the lake. Nothing like the bright lights of New York City. But he'd found contentment here, happiness in the wake of such devastating loss.

Out of the ashes, he and Pepper had managed to build something so perfect. Nothing he had ever created would live up to the perfect little life they were raising. Morgan was brilliant and beautiful, everything he never thought he'd have. Everything he didn't deserve. When his friends had come to him for help, he'd turned them away, sent them packing. How could he risk everything he'd found in the little slice of Heaven they'd carved out for themselves?

But Peter's face, his smile, and the memories they'd conjured. They had inspired him. Could he really raise his daughter in a world in which Peter Parker wasn't there to help with her homework or teach her about Star Wars? And then he’d seen the photo of him and Peter holding that Stark Industries certificate, held upside down. They’d had such a good time at that photoshoot, done for the sole excuse of having an official picture for May. Tony couldn’t remember who had flipped the certificate. But that had been the key to key to everything.

Tony looked at Loki over the rim of his glass. Loki sat with his back to the house and the porchlight shone around his head like a halo. He sipped his own drink, a wine that he’d found in town and prefered to Tony’s whiskey. Loki - his once upon a time enemy, turned saviour, turned friend. Tony wouldn't be alive if Loki hadn't saved them from that ship. Now he needed help again and there wasn't anyone on the planet he trusted more to do this job.

"Ask it," Loki said softly, crossing his long legs at the ankles, one eyebrow raised in query. "Ask me anything, Tony Stark."

Tony heaved a breath. I need you here while I'm gone," he said, finally. “I have no idea what sort of Pandora's box we'll open with time travel. I need you here with them in case a fight comes to this door."

Loki pressed his lips together and nodded. "You know I will protect them with my life. But there's more. I can feel it."

Tony smiled and took a sip of his drink. “You know me too well,” he said. “Alright, look, if this goes sideways, if I...if I don't come back...I need you to watch out for Peter. I need you to make sure he's okay. Sometimes...sometimes he'll need you to kick him in the ass and remind him he's not responsible for all the evil in the world...that he can't save everyone. But…" Tony took a shuddering breath, eyes hot with unshed tears. "Mainly just...be there. Pepper's gonna have her hands full with Morgan and Peter...he's gonna want answers. He’s gonna need someone to tell him that whatever happened...wasn’t his fault. Because that’s exactly what he’s gonna think. And he's gonna need someone to help him out with the super hero gig."

Loki didn't argue or try to tell Tony he was being silly - of course he would make it. Loki merely smiled and took Tony's hand.

"It will be my privilege to know him," Loki said.

And that was why they’d become so close. Because Loki was a realist. He saw things like they were and not how he wanted them to be. Would he fight against it? Of course. But for being the God of Mischief, the God of Lies - Loki did not blow smoke. He called Tony on his bullshit and if things were going to shit he didn’t waste time telling you everything was fine. He just found a way to help in the most unexpected, sometimes illegal and morally sketchy ways.

Tony nodded, relieved. The knot of anxiety in his gut unraveled just the slightest bit. He sighed and stared across the lake, Loki's comforting presence beside him.

"Do TRY not to die though," Loki said dryly before taking a sip of his drink.

Tony chuckled. "You know better than anyone how the best laid plans can get away from you."

"Daddy?"

Tony wiped his face and turned to find Morgan, feet bare and in her nightgown. Pepper stood behind her, with that guarded smile. That smile Tony remembered from before. She knew that Tony planned to leave in the morning and she was afraid.

"Morgan wanted to say goodnight to Uncle Lolo," Pepper said, holding Tony’s gaze.

Morgan climbed into Tony's lap and hugged him. "Mom said if I go to bed now you'll make pancakes tomorrow for breakfast."

"Did she now? Well then I guess you better run off before that offer expires," Tony said.

Morgan's eyes widened. She tried to hop down but Tony held her till she giggled, "Daddy! My pancakes are expiring!"

"Sorry, baby girl, my arms seem to be broken. You're gonna have to push a little harder," Tony teased until finally she wiggled free.

"I still gotta hug Uncle Lolo," she said to Pepper with her hand on her hip, pointer finger up. “Daddy took up all my time."

Pepper pressed a smile between her lips and nodded. "Make it quick."

Morgan flung herself into Loki's arms and squeezed him hard.

He groaned with feigned exertion, "Norns, child. You grow stronger daily. It will not be long before you can best even the mighty Thor in battle."

Morgan grinned and made a muscle which Loki felt at her insistence.

"Truly impressive," he said and then bent to whisper in her ear. "Have you been drinking the magical elixir I hide for you in the back of the refrigerator?"

Morgan nodded, eyeing Tony and Pepper, who pretended they couldn't hear them. Loki's magic elixir was a smoothie he blended for her that tasted amazing but was full of the vegetables she refused to eat at meals.

"Can't you tell? My muscles are bigger."

"Indeed. Continue as I said. One serving after every meal."

They nodded together, conspiring a few more moments before she hugged him again.

"Night, Lolo."

"Goodnight, Lady Morgan."

Morgan turned back to Tony but stopped, that pointer finger out again, this time aimed at Tony. "Are your arms okay?"

Tony moved his arms around. "Yep. They're working just fine, baby girl. One more hug and off to bed. I'll be in in a minute for story time."

Morgan hugged him quick as though she were afraid his arms might break again and then ran back to Pepper. He watched them walk up the path to the house, hand in hand. As they disappeared through the front door, he sighed.

“This is my only shot to make this right, Lo. Not just for Peter, but for everyone.”

“Just as we planned, my friend,” Loki said said softly. “I will not leave Morgan's side. And if something should happen to you, I swear that I will be here for your family - including Peter. Let the past and the future take care of themselves for now, Tony. Spend some time in the present.”

Tony smiled and got to his feet. “I think I’ll do that,” he said and then bent down to hug Loki. Loki hugged him back, just a little too long and a little too tight. But Tony pretended not to notice. Because although Loki didn’t blow smoke, Tony knew a goodbye hug when he felt it.

Bokuto Kōtarō Headcanons | Word Count: 404

-Bokuto is the most enthusiastic brother anyone could ever have, within seconds of them setting foot on campus he’s practically picked them up, flinging them around and telling everyone this is his little sister and that she is amazing! (It took bribing from Akaashi to put her down)

-He’s gonna beg them to join the girls volleyball team or even be a manager for the boys, he wants them to be as good as he is or at least show off to them constantly, if they already had a different club in mind he wouldn’t care, he would just brag more and more about them being the best in that club

-This boy can barley even remember his tie in the morning, so if his sister is to forget anything there’s no way he would even notice it to take it too her. If anything, he probably forgot his lunch or homework as well, there’s no helping either of them.

-In regards to them getting into trouble, Bokuto is 100% going to scold her even if he has done the same thing before, he wants his little sister to have a good reputation and be her best. He’s so proud of her either way and just wants her to enjoy school but also appreciate the education side.

-Definitely watches her like a hawk, nothing she does gets past him! Whether it be at lunch, in class or even in the halls he’s got a question for them;

“Who’s that boy?!”

“What did they say?”

“Are they making fun of you?”

Someone could literally bump into her and he’s already fired up to protect.

-He wants his little sister to remain pure amd innocent, he made that very obvious when he saw a boy talking to them and he literally ran across the field screaming his signature “Hey hey heyyyy” but more aggressive, before questioning him relentlessly. Now no boys dare to talk to her, which definitely had caused a sibling squabble!

-On the other hand though, his protectiveness can be really useful if anyone was to try pick on his sister, they’d definitely need to think twice after catching a glimpse of Bokutos over powering glare.

-In the end, Bokutos a very overwhelming type sibling to have in the school, being loud and flashy but he really just wants them to feel safe and secure in their first year and not worry at all

Akaashi Keiji Headcanons | Word Count: 379

-Literally the complete opposite to Bokuto, couldn’t really care that they’re in the school or what they did and why. As long as it wasn’t anything extreme and that there was no trouble caused he would want to leave her be and have her find her own path in school. He believes by giving them the independence if they do ever really ask for help they really do need it.

-Takes his study seriously to some extent but also wants to relax and knows his limit, he tries his hardest to teach his little sister this in their first year, he’s willing to help them out but only they can tell if they’ve reached their limit- which is why he wants them to be independent

-Will definitely bring in anything she forgets, he always leaves slightly later and will check for anything they couldn’ve forgotten, he knows that in the first year it’s easy to get confused and forget certain things.

-Because of his statue like facade a lot of first years tend to be a little sketchy and worried to talk or be around Akaashi, like did he have no emotion?! If it wasn’t for his sister frequently going up to him to collect forgotten food and/or just have a normal chat, the first years aren’t as freaked out by his demeanour now

-If she was ever bed ridden due to illness he would try his best to collect up all homework from their teachers and even ask some of their friends to copy down notes for them. He would hate for her to go back into school after being sick to then feel even worse about catching up on a few days of work

-He’s also the most chill about his sister talking to boys, he wants her to enjoy life and quite frankly cannot be bothered at all for the whole protective chat stuff, like said before he wants her to learn from mistakes and grow through it

-Overall Akaashi just as calm as ever, it’s as if he doesn’t even have a sister sometimes, he wants them to both live their lives but be able to help eachother when needed. It’s not like he doesn’t care, though, he just doesn’t want to hound them constantly.

Asahi Azumane Headcanons | Word Count: 424

-Asahi is more scared of the first years then they are of him, with his ‘scary’ demeanour and adultish looks none of them really try to talk to him and ask for help around school, they’d rather be lost. This makes him feel quite disheartened actually, so when his little sister finds out about it she tries her hardest tk promote Asahi and the teddy bear he really is!

-With that, Asahi really enjoys having his little sister in the school, less people are scared of him meaning he is more comfortable with just walking around and not worrying about being screamed at. She’s like his little moral support, keeping him calm, despite the fact it really should be the other way around

-Sometimes the promotions of her brother are futile though, which is never an issue really, everyone knows that she is Asahis little sister so no one ever tries to mess wih her, it’s to much of a risk!

-He often invites his sister to watch practice, due to Asahis and Noyas friendship she wasn’t at all phased by the initial squealing of a new cute girl in the gym, it was practically mandatory for her to deal with. She was also a big part in bribing Asahi to get back into volleyball and often cheers him on at matches and even just for practice because she knows that even if she is the ‘little’ sister, she still has to act older for his babyish acts occasionally

-Asahis really good at collecting up any homework she may need in her absences, the first time he did it though he get stumbling on his words to their teacher and accidentally brought home the complete wrong homework to them because the teacher has 0 idea on what he really wanted

-He will also try his best to help her with any homework, he’s not the smartest kf the smart but wants to feel like he is able to help her like she helps him, he would like her to take education somewhat seriously even if it isn’t her forte and she wants to do somthing more out going- it’s still important to have a small back up!

-After all, Asahi in reality is more of the little brother sometimes but he still wants his little sister to look up to him because he is proud of her and knows she’ll do amazing in school. He does really appreciate the softer reputation she gave him for his last year as well, it’s a huge bonus

Daichi Sawamura Headcanons | Word Count: 340

-Much like Suga from my previous post, Daichis dad mode comes into action while his sisters in school. He’s all about having fun and enjoying life but he also believes education is important and wants his sister to feel the same.

-On the first day he toured her around, showing her every inch of the school and letting her knkw about the ‘bad people’ places he didn’t want to find her.

-After all the dad chat, he goes more fun and friendly, he would hate for her to dislike him based on how firm he can be and that’s not the way he wants her to see him, he is still just her brother and they’re both still kids after all.

-Unfortunately if she is to be forgetful Daichi is not going to be able to help, he’s up and gone at the crack of dawn due to his captains duties meanjng he won’t even see her in the morning, let alone take her lunch! If she did forget something like lunch or water he would make sure to buy her some food though, along with a little scold, but he isn’t evil

-Will 100% introduce her to the team but will set ground rules with them before they meet her, this consist of:

No dating or flirting

No harassment

No embarrassing

These are also all directed towards Noya and Tanaka

-Everyone knows Daichi, even the first years, this means they know not to cross the line with his little sister because boy can he be scary sometimes! If anyone was to say anything at all about her they’ll definitely know about it, Daichi will ensure to have a little chat with the person who said anything; nothing was ever mentioned about it again

-Overall Daichi wants his sister to be a strong independent person just like himself and hopes he sets a good example for her. He wants her to have a good enjoyable time at Karasuno just like himself, just not too much fun, as education is important!
