guess who got to go to the ER last night?

#dryad speaks #to get y'all up to speed i stated having some minor pain last week which i just assumed was pre period pain #it got a little more naggy up to my birthday but was more w/e #AND THE SUNDAY walking and sitting normally hurt #it was a little worse monday so i went to urgent care and they wanted me to get a ct scan but couldn't get me in anywhere until wednesday #literally 20 minutes after my scan yesterday the doctor calls and is like #'you have an abscess! we really think you should go to the ER asap.' #so here we are #they kept me overnight because of the infection but afaik i get to go home today #fucking wildest post birthday anything i've ever had lol

hey, i understand if you don't have the energy/motivation, and i don't want to force you. but i think you should consider exercising a little! even if its just 30 seconds. you might find that moving around actually makes you feel better than not moving! i personally get exercise in by (sometimes) pacing around when i'm deep in thought; maybe taking a walk outside and/or listening to a nice audiobook could work for you? (sorry if im making you uncomfortable! and feel free to call out bad behavior

it’s just. when someone makes you feel small. not necessarily by like looming or even anything physical, but when someone takes care of you or is kind to you in a certain way, and suddenly you feel two inches tall on their palm. utterly safe and taken care of.

it’s such a hard feeling to describe but when someone makes you feel tiny in that good little way it’s. there’s nothing better.

LIKE IN THE BEST WAY. LIKE ITS HARD TO EXPLAIN #i just felt small and taken care of. thought of. its nice #he got so much store credit he even got to get him a pokemon game :) so we r gonna chill all day tomorrow and game :)

#like leaving the vet er at midnight #I never want my niece to call me hysterical at work ever again #this is the second time now #I got legit flashbacks….was so similar to crybabes and felt like the same bad dream repeating #me and my niece sitting on the floor in trauma man #this time was obviously different though and scarier #I also maybe am weirdly protected sometimes because I was in the process of speeding home #and this extremely slow ass car immediately got in front of me and stopped me from driving fast #like legit stayed the entire drive and it annoyed the FUCK out of me but looking back like #shouldn't have been driving fast definitely not stressed out #he’s not in the clear yet and I definitely won’t sleep well tonight but he’s stable #thankfully. #wasn’t sure there for a while #when we got to the vet the woman looked in at him and started running #and gave me a DNR form and was relaying my answer over the phone to the back #fucking traumatic actually #also my beta fish died this morning too #I don’t like februaries . cursed ass month I swear #I wrote this all half asleep last night #but he went to the vet today and it’s still not great so #poor chubbies #sweetest boy ever too #I wish I didn’t have to go to work today #just wanna go sit with him all day
