Big fckn redesigns here. Well mostly Charlie but Vaggie somewhat too 🥰🥰

Blue fits Charlie soooo much and I cease to see that many redesigns with this color. I still want red to be used in most of their designs because well. They are in hell, but not too present so to make way for other unique colors. Charlie has several physical traits from her parents but also she has some details in her clothes that match with them. When I uhh, introduce their designs you'll see lmao. I also tried to make her have a more roundish design, I jst LOVE those typ of designs omg. I just want the characters with not too many sharp corners pls Viv bro... 😔 oh yeah she's mixed cuz her mom's are darker in their redesigns. Alot of their genetics went down to Charlie so she doesn't look like an exact copy of Lucifer, I kind of hate that trend with hh and hb characters, like did the moxxies dad give birth to him bro 😭 also I kept her bow because it looks so cute and silly on her it just fits, I wish they made it bigger in her show design because it would fit her silliness so much. She has a cape with stars because morningSTAR smh why didnt they do something fun with that, missed potential but whatevs yknow I still love og designs no matter what anyone sayss. The wife ever. I had animation in mind more when I designed her, not like in a "How easy or hard would this be to animate" way. But I like to imagine when she's shocked her hair kind of fluffs out plus her actual fluff, when she's mad her bow turns into kind of horns and then her jacket expands like wings. Gave her a more hotel like outfit, she likes to work for fun (ew). Her socks are socks but she has some fluff under them she just tries to cover it up because she hates herself 🤪 (she doesn't hate her bigger body she actually feels much more comfortable chubby than when she was skinny with Adam. She was burdened with the weight of Adam's image of women... In this sorta rewrite she gained weight when she goes to the hotel because she's more happy. I'm dying I love chub Vaggie so much guys please) headcanon: she kind of likes fashion, it's like a fun hobby of hers to stitch together clothing and go out and buy clothes she'll never wear. She taught Charlie how to stitch and she SUCKS so you can jst see it on Charlie's pants.

Second outfits! Charlie's hotel uniform for. Well. Hotel stuff. She usually only wears it when new people come to the hotel, which.... isn't often, if at all. She still likes to keep it just in case. Also she goes really cartoonish when it happens, she does the looney tunes run and changes into her clothes in like 2 seconds. Can you see my vision? 😭😭

Vaggie's is in her armor. She has several pairs of armor lying around in the hotel in completely hidden spots. It's kind of surprising uhh. Yeah she wears it alot more than Charlie wears her alt uniform but still rare to find her in it. I don't get the whole thing with the exterminators and them not being able to fight according to Carmilla. Which is kinda stupid, I'm not gonna lie. So, instead of that, Vaggie has just let her guard down and has gotten much more comfortable in her surroundings so she feels like she doesn't need to fight anymore, she's just gotten rusty 's what I'm sayin. I have no idea how to draw armor. You can tell...

#they’re supposed to be some sort of experiment to see if people could recreate Sun Wukongs stone egg. the goal was to make a more controlled #and tame version using carved wood and cultivation. but eventually they got worried about it becoming too powerful and scrapped it #eventually they come to life and live in the abandoned temple they were built in #their bottom half is made of wood because when they came to life their creator/s left them unfinished when they scrapped the project #they had to carve the rest of their body out of hunger and frustration because they couldn’t eat or move much by crawling on their top half #this is also why they spite their creators and hate irresponsible creation. because of abandonment issues and feeling like they have no #purpose or direction in life #their power is also very limited to due being man made since they were originally a wood carving #meo gave me the idea but one reason would be because they’re half finished. the sculpture was still half stump so it was completely untouche #that half can channel power in its raw form but the other half cannot once it’s been carved by man #so technically they could have the same level or potential for power as the stone but that was dampened #the other thing is how they were created to be a duplicate or recreation of a stone monkey and a celestial looked at that and was like #‘we’re not doing that again’ LMAO #i think the case of them carving their own legs doesn’t take away their power though. that balance was made #before they came to life so carving the legs or not can’t affect it anymore. like making a cake and slicing it #their energy levels are also naturally low because of that so their movements are sluggish and they aren’t very active overall #constantly lying in the sun to charge their batteries and get some stuff done. just like me fr #I actually don’t know what I’m gonna do with this character besides Put Them In Situations with other ppls ocs.. so if you have #a lmk oc you have been warned /lh /j #I wanna make some backstory art for them though.. maybe even the animatic treatment if I can get through dear wormwood which is 25 #SECONDS OUT OF 3 MIN BTW #doodles #Lego Monkie kid #lmk #Monkie kid #lmk oc #monkie kid oc #myart #my art #xin ya

If someone else has to point out how Buck or Eddie feels. I know that’s a popular trope, but honestly? Fuck that.

Fuck having to tell a queer person who they’re supposed to be with, how they’re supposed to feel. I actually hate that so much. Because why, why is it that after being told we’re supposed to love certain people, and we realize we don’t, we’re told from ALL SIDES who we are supposed to love after we come out. From the people who don’t accept us to the people that do.

I want them to be so so unbelievably happy and proud of Buck and Eddie and to not take away from their discovery of themselves. 

I don’t want past girlfriends showing up and saying they knew something was off.

Because you know what? Let’s not make queer characters uncomfortable and guilty for something that wasn’t their fault, something they weren’t even AWARE of, or to feel any pain for a relationship that is very much over.

I don’t think you guys understand how much you seem to demand for us to get buddie as queer, to have Eddie and Buck as queer, and in the same breath want to take what that means away from them

Them realizing they are queer is not something that other characters should have a huge opinion or input on. It should be THEM worried about what others will say and think only to find out they are so loved by those who truly matter.

Coming out as queer is HUGE. It’s not easy, it can be confusing and it’s overwhelming. Let Buck, and if it happens then Eddie as well, go about their own journey their way. Stop forcing other characters, straight or queer, to be in it. It’s not about anyone else but them. It’s not a simple love story of two men that are already out. It’s about realizing hey, this thing I thought I was my entire life? It’s not true.

Let them process that and take it in and explorer what is a completely newworld.

Asking questions is a big deal

I don't want Crowley to be kicked out of Heaven for anything other than what we already know

Because I think being kicked out for just asking questions and being around people who do bad things is reason enough. It's something that when you hear it sounds crazy, it sounds like "there's no way someone would do that just because of these two things."

But it happens. People being defined as bad or wrong just because of little things is something that happens. Many types of discrimination are based on that, people have been defined as bad just because of a physical characteristic, a million times in history.

And I know it's said that he wasn't as good as he likes to think he was, but that doesn't mean he did anything. Maybe he was just inclined to do it.

I'm a firm believer in the fact that a person's actions are strongly influenced by where they are, and especially by society's response when they need help.

Crowley needed help with his questions, help understanding the plan, help giving options. He didn't get help, he got a lifelong punishment, with his immortal life

This is something that forces you to do things that maybe you wouldn't do if conditions were different, or maybe you would have done it anyway. But you deserved the chance

There are people who are condemned as evil for things that they would never have chosen and that could have been fixed if society had cared about it

And I think a representation of that would be good

I am not against the other option, but I feel that the other story is a story that has been told many times, and in a better way than this one.

The story I am referring to is used, it usually attempts to excuse the crimes. And that's something I don't agree with, and I don't think it's often seen as much.

A crime done in conditions of choice and a crime done because it was your only choice are both crimes, they are not equal, they should not be taken as equal. But they are both crimes

I would also like to add that asking questions and being around the wrong people is enough to take someone down. The way I see heaven is as an authoritarian system, and when you have a system that is based on the idea of obedience and following the rules based on the fact that there are rules and that is your job, asking questions is such a strong form of rebellion.

When you have these situations you usually have three groups, the group in power that you want to go against (the higher ranks of heaven), the group that is rebelling in an aggressive way (future demons), and the people in the middle (the angels who are just following orders and doing their job).

The people in the middle are the key in this case, because there are a LOT of them and if you have them on your team, you will probably win.

The people in power don't need to convince this middle group to stay with them, because they already are. They just need to make sure they have no reason to leave.

And the group that is against wants the middle group, but they have one thing against it, when you are rebelling you tend to use methods that are seen as extreme and violent, this will provoke rejection. For this reason, the middle group does not usually join the extremists even if they agree with the cause, because they do not want to be defined as extremists and violent. Sometimes they define the arguments of the extremist group as invalid just because they are the arguments of the group, and if these arguments were given in another context, they would agree.

Now, place someone who is just asking questions. Someone who is not violent, and is not an extremist. He's just... asking questions. Questions that make you think about the overall situation. Questions that make you want change.

This is an effective way to engage the middle group, it's an effective way to get them to notice that even if they are not in favor of the extremist group's methods, they are in favor of their arguments.

And this is something much more dangerous than the rebellion itself, because the rebellion can be extinguished in the effective way exemplified so correctly in this situation: by throwing them overboard and punishing them for all eternity.

But questions are not so easy if you accept that the person asking them stays in the group, they will always be asking questions, they will always be questioning authority, they will always be implanting doubt. And that will always be attracting more people, it will always be making more people question things.

So the most practical thing you can do, is to throw overboard the questioners as well. You need to nip everything in the bud, because if you don't, rebellions will always be popping up. There will always end up being a group that believes change is needed, and that dares to take action.

And you don't want that constant battle, because with each time it happens, your authority goes down.

For it to happen twice makes it look like there's some kind of institutional problem

So if you want to maintain an image of power, what you must do is cut off ALL possible causes of rebellion, even the subtle ones, even the ones that at first glance seem harmless.

I'm against the idea of hell, especially because we see it as a place where they don't enjoy being. They tell you they rebel because they are evil, but they don't enjoy being evil. They are not happy in hell, they don't enjoy being there. They work writing things down when they can't spell, they have a job punishing those who failed god, and that job is their punishment for failing god.

They were given no options, they were kicked out of their job and told there would be a final war.

A war where the options are to lose, and be punished to agony for all eternity. Without ever having a chance of redemption

Or win, and be able to continue in the current situation. Which is equally horrible, because they never had the opportunity to create a system that would benefit them. Because they were taken out of a comfortable life and condemned to do the dirty work of those who took them out.

At no time did they have the opportunity to choose the right option, why would they choose it? They were defined as evil and it was made clear that they would NEVER have a chance to be anything else. Of course they are going to do every crime possible, there is nothing to stop them, and furthermore, there is nothing to motivate them to do anything different. It doesn't matter if they do something good or bad, they are always going to be in horrible conditions.

And the worst part is that they never escaped heaven, they are still under their control, the only difference is that now they have an illusion that it was their decision. But no, a new scale was simply created.

I love that Hiccup had a whole episode of rtte dedicated to reminding him to makes plans and not act impulsively out of vengeance or other emotions.

I love that he was the one to remind Stoick that they need to make plans when he struggled with his fears.

And the Hiccup in The Hidden World appears.

(Sure he kinda did a similar thing to Stoick when his fear took over but eventually Stoick listened to reason and he didn’t make any truly dramatic decisions, Gobber and the others were there to remind Hiccup to make a plan. The others could’ve done more but you can’t tell me Hiccup would’ve made such a stupid choice just because of his emotions after the things he learnt. The part where Gobber was like ‘I feel like I’m always asking you this question, but is there an actual plan’ just proves how out of touch it is because Hiccup has learnt to use his brain even when there is little time to make solid plans.

Yes Hiccup can act impulsively from time to time but after rtte, those times had solid reasons and were not decisions that were ‘let’s leave our island and leave ourself completely vulnerable without making any sort of plan for what we are going to do’ levels of stupid.)

i was being a completely sane person today (/s) and was creating a timeline tree for snm would anyone even be interested in that. and collecting my shipping thoughts (or specifics about them being a couple etc). know that i still consider my knowledge of the franchise as poor. its just tidying it up in my head so when i talk about something i can pinpoint a specific thing (i was too deep in fnaf theorizing so now i have to suffer thru a franchise that doesnt even have a canon)

in short/tldr the comics are the base that happened in every possible timeline and everything else is derived from that, happening after, except the cartoon, which shows some events the same way so that would be more intertwined; not everything is connected/within one timeline. and the cartoon is my most fav and where i see them as a true couple.

long rant ahead

on one hand i really like the time travel theory where its like comics -> ttg -> cartoon etc by them travelling back in time for that, however there are many holes especially thinking about their families and stuff so

i like the idea of things branching off. one branch is comics - htr - cartoon, as something more intertwined

second is comics -> ttg -> poker night 2 (since it references ttg events) (idk bout 1 i havent played/seen that)

third would be comics -> ttiv (or comics -> htr -> ttiv, i have no idea atm if bosco's is mentioned in the comics but it is in htr and mentioned in ttiv. ttiv is also set in the year it came out, so theres a huge gap inbetween ttiv and htr but i wouldnt say its where the ttg games happened!)

and i dont mean this in like a multiverse way, since the creator seems to dislike that, its simply just a very loose canon that differs with each installment (simply due to different people working on these imo. nothing too deep imo)

but the juicy part!! i even made brackets that im too lazy to remake digitally so i will just write it out for each bigger installment. im excluding poker night 1 as i havent played it nor watched much gameplay

htr: M - possible; BF - yes

cartoons: M - i take it as canon here. BF - yes million percent

ttg all seasons: M - no; BF - yes.

poker night 2: M - not sure, implied dating, i take that as good enough; BF - yes

ttiv: M - absolutely not. not a couple at all. BF - they seem too tense, yes, but from my experience playing, their interactions were imo the worst in all of their media, so i wasnt buying it at some points

note - ttiv has to be like the straightest they ever were and i also see it in S.P.'s more recent work. im looking too deep into that, perhaps, but im just thinking were never gonna get anything similar to what we got from back in the 90s again, if theres any future projects

people are also saying they got married like 4 times and its making me a bit confused here. do people mean cartoon, htr dress up card, cake topper and tdph ring scene or am i missing something big?? because to me that is married once, other ones being just for jokes (first one as well but its less vague), and in the ttg games its so extremely vague i cant count that (being realistic here) that said its still fun to joke about them getting married several times, but in this case wouldnt it be more of a marriage per timeline?

and to end this, a personal tierlist

my most fave obviously is the cartoon. not only is it the easiest to work with for me, with the fast pacing and short watch time (but ofc i wish it was longer) i absolutely love how their relationship is depicted there, even if a lot of stuff there is just jokes, but if everything is a joke then its also fine to take everything as canon within this media, to me! like when haters say that people only take the wedding scene out of the intro and ignore the rest - as if the other stuff couldnt happen (isnt one of the shots them fighting a giant octopus, which they end up having an episode about too. like cmon. anything goes here) even if it was contained within this specific part of the franchise, im ok with calling them a couple here. and its S tier overall

another S tier is the comics. nothing else to say

HTR is like A tier to me, only taking off points because its soooo sloooowwww and playing it after watching the series took 3 years off my life immediately. otherwise gud game.

ttg is like A to B tier for me, because of some specifics and preferences but thats just me being nitpicky so, the games overall are good. A- it is. thats all

poker night 2 is fun, i watch the gameplay a lot lately when im too tired at midnight to do anything else, A tier

ttiv. oh how mixed i am about you. gameplay by itself and my first experience with the game - S tier. it made me so giddy more than one time and i kept wanting to come back until i finished the game fully. i dont mind the bugs, its just what i expect in VR games and even tho it made me a bit frustrated at times it wasnt all that bad. its also the only vr game i played for over an hour once and didnt get motion sick - the exception was the level at the store which seemed too bright and actually made me nauseous. which is a feeling that somehow comes back whenever i think about this game. what i dislike was the dialogue, while most of it was fun and fine, i had moments where i just burst out laughing, they (or max especially) were way too mean towards the player. i know its a joke and you could chalk it up to max being unhappy with us/jealous, but it got like, generally unpleasant very quickly. with stuff like good throw - "nice!" bad throw - *neverending insults* and the second was how painfully straight it was and like. the vibes i got from them two was like, oh theyre fed up with each other and my shipping self was just left quite disappointed. i did not get all lines during my gameplay which made it great but upon going thru every line manually after, i was just more and more uncomfortable with what they said in their banter. this drops the game to like C for me? maybe B if i squint. being generous. i also got sick of their talking animations over time... the models are fine just got to be too much. bonus points for max ragdoll physics tho. coming up with a conclusion that this is a completely separate timeline and has nothing to do with anything other than the comics and perhaps HTR. i talked so long about this one cause its the one thing that prompted all of this lol.

Something I’ve been thinking about a lot is that a lot of Sleep Token songs are about Vessel, and like I have a list, but I want to drop the concept that I have a thought that sometimes Vessel is the ‘she’ in the songs.
