“They don’t make music like they used to back in…” people are incredibly boring, stuck in the past with their same Top 20 oldies on repeat. It’s one thing to be a fan of a certain music era but there are a million new songs out there in various languages, genres, styles, etc. to discover that they’d probably enjoy but it’s easier for them to reject exposure & convince themselves that any music after a certain era is “bad” because nostalgia is a comfort blanket they can’t bare to part with.

5. Vintage stuff? Hell yeah, but maybe not anything too expensive since some old stuff IS hyper expensive.
6. Colors that pop or blend? Not sure I understand what u mean abt them blending ahaha u mean like when they’re so similar to another?? Well I think it’s nice but honestly I prefer a pop and a bang, y’Know?

3. Worst dream u have ever had? I had sleep paralysis but was imbetween that and a lucid dream. At first I was paralyzed and could see my bed but my eyes felt closed and open at the same time?? A giant dark demon looking dog had towered over me and began to tear at my neck. It looked and felt very real I started to try to scream and it felt like a scream was coming out but no sound exited. Then I went into a lucid dream where I was being chased by this dog and running for my life I was running by and nobody could save me nobody in the dream when it caught up to me I was back in my bed and it was trying to eat me again. I was so terrified I couldn’t sleep for a whole week.
4. Lyric that comes to your mind? “And I don’t think I can be there. I’m paralyzed,I’m terrified of being alone. When you said I deserved what had happened.”
5. Blood make u uncomfortable? Yes, I passed out once when getting my finger pricked and a VERY small blood sample and another when dissecting a fish.

7. Something I hate that I love? Anything I’ve ever loved becuz love can be frustrating. Bruh.

I’m not a huge movie person so...I looked up movies from 2005 and movies Inlike from this time are Brokeback mountain bcuz it’s gay af, Shark Boy and Lava Girl damn I rewatched the shot out of it when I was younger, Narnia and the Chocolate Factory(although it low key creeped me out as a kid, and idk why).

13. As someone who waits on tables, my job is my least favorite restaurant experience 🤣🤣 just dealing with ppl...like ok, I’m half Hispanic right?? But I look white. Well, I work at a Mexican restaurant and so sometimes racist costumers will say shady shit just bcuz I guess they think it’s appropriate to say it to me just bcuz I’m not Hispanic in their eyes?? But it pisses me off and I feel like I can’t say anything without causing a drama which I hate and when the “costumers always right” it can be hard to budge and stand up and say “bitch wtf did u just say??” And there’s just folks who take things the wrong ways or ask too much at once or give u a hard time or just say something that sticks onto you for the whole day. One bad move can turn my whole day upside down.

BACKGROUND
Born and raised in South Florida, a little aways from Miami ! Her mother, Paloma, was an Adventura native while her father, Santiago, was an immigrant from Argentina. Her parents met in college when Paloma was studying abroad in Argentina. They fell in love, rather quickly, and the rest was history. They had planned on moving back to America together, but Santiago’s visa was denied. So, after only four months of knowing each other and 2.5 months of dating, they got married. 
Turns out sometimes you should know your partner better before getting married !! shocker right. It wasn’t so bad at first, though. They were young and in love and their honeymoon phase seemed to last forever, until it didn’t. 
By the time Nadia was born, they’d already begun to realize each other’s faults and flaws. Santiago was a good looking guy, and with his thick Argentine accent, he tended to come off as overly friendly and at times overtly flirty. Paloma was jealous and needy. It never seemed to mesh well when she thought her husband was flirting with every other mom in the neighborhood. 
So, for the majority of Nadia’s childhood, all she remembered from her parent’s marriage was them fighting. She had a close relationship with the both of them, though, and she was particularly close with her father. He was her biggest supporter !! Always hyping her up. He was the one signing her up for sports like soccer (they’re a huge soccer family, the only time her parents weren’t fighting was during Argentina games), gymnastics, dance, and ice skating. Her favorite was soccer, and her for most of her adolescent years, her dad coached her team. They formed a really close bond because of it. 
The marriage was sort of non exinsistant at this point, but in some sort of last attempt to salvage any love they might have had for each other, Santiago and Paloma had a baby. It was more Paloma’s idea than anything. Santiago, at that point, was only sticking around for Paloma. She was seven when her little sister was born, Caterina, and Nadia absolutely adored her. They may have been seven years a part, but they were the best of friends. 
When Nadia was twelve, she woke up with a note on her bed side table. It was from her father, and it read: “Nads, I’m so sorry I couldn’t say goodbye to your face. I wish I was stronger. I am so proud of you and I promise I will be in touch. Te amo. Papa” He hadn’t left anybody else a note, and not even a word to her mother. As close as she was to her mother and sister, she couldn’t help but blame them for her father leaving. Still, she was pretty certain she’d hear from him soon. That he’d come back once he cleared his head. Only, he didn’t. 
Word spread pretty fast around school about what had happened. Suddenly, Nadia was a charity case. PTA moms were coming up to her and offering to bring her lunch or dinner, if she needed it. She was the girl who’s dad left them high and dry. It didn’t help that on top of that, her body was going through changes much more rapidly than any of her friends. She already had gotten her period, and by the time she was in seventh grade she was wearing a D cup bra. So in addition to the sudden spotlight as the girl without a dad, boys started treating her differently. Boys that had never talked to her previously suddenly wanted to be her friend. In eighth grade, Hayden Walker rolled up a small piece of paper and shot it like a basketball into her cleavage. He high-fived his friends after and thanked her for the backboard.  
So middle school was rough. And while Nadia had had one or two boyfriends during that time, she’d never gone past kissing them. That’s not how the rumors went, though. That was the part that hurt the most. The things people said, especially the things girls said about her. Girls she thought were her friends. 
At the end of eighth grade, during the summer before high school, she got a text from her dad. The first one in 2 years! She’d idolized him her whole life, so obviously she was ready to forgive him as soon as she heard from him. He told her he was living in California and Nadia was like, I’m sold! Let’s go! Only her mother was like...are you fucking insane you are not going to California to visit that man. Long story short, she found a cheap cross country bus ticket and essentially ran away from home to see her dad! He was shocked she had come at all, despite his text message leading her to believe he wanted to see her. Apparently it was more of a courtesy text, a text so he could let go of the guilt of leaving an entire family behind. Because in the two years he’d been gone, he managed to start a new one. He had a new wife, and two newborn twins. 
Nadia was pretty furious, but she stayed the summer anyways. She had full intentions of starting high school in California and not going home to Florida. Things were tense at her father’s, though. Her “step mother” obviously didn’t like having her around, and though her bond with her father was slowly rekindling, there was still a sort of distance between them. But they were trying to make it work, at the very least. 
Then came the end of the summer. Nadia had made a few friends around the neighborhood, and was invited to an end of summer kickback with a bunch of high schoolers. Naturally, she lied about her age at the party. She was 14, but told everyone she was 16, and everyone seemed to overlook her baby face thanks to her ass and tits. At the end of the night, a boy drove her home, and the two ended up hooking up in the car. Apparently she had misjudged how much her father actually cared, because he’d waited up for her to come home, and after seeing car headlights out front, he’d stormed outside to find her in the car with a high school boy, half naked. After allowing her to gather her bearings, he essentially humiliated her right there on the front lawn, screaming about how irresponsible she was amongst other things. The majority of the conversation has since been blacked out from her mind, but she’ll never forget the look on her dad’s face when he said, “you’re nothing, you’re just like your mother, and i don’t want you anywhere near my family.”  whew !! ya girl was hurt.  
So, obviously, she was back on the way to mom’s ! Honestly at that point her mom wasn’t even mad at her for leaving she was just thankful she was back. 
GODDD okay this is getting long so I need to wrap this up. I haven’t even gotten to personality KJSHG Okay let’s wrap up high school in one bullet point. Basically she sub consciously searched for every man’s approval because she lacked the approval she needed from her father! This meant lots of boyfriends and never saying no. In her four years of high school, she was maybe single for a total of like ... seven months. not seven consecutive months lmao, 7 months in between relationships. 
one of those boys was connor perch, her first official boyfriend freshman year ! they were really sweet n young and nadia really thought she was in love. but then she gave him a blowjob and this mf recorded it ! and nadia found out after the fact, asked him to delete it, he said it was just for himself to look at, only to find out he’d sent it to his friends a few days later. so that basically set the precedent for how she’d be treated the next four years of high school ! she tried to act like it didn’t bother her but dang. high schoolers can be very mean !
oh my god i seriously have to wrap up okay this will be quick. basically when she was a senior in high school she went on a ski trip to big bear and met a boy named ethan, who she like fell in love with so fast like literally a week give it a rest girl. he was from Colorado but when she left they kept in touch and basically talked every day for the rest of the school year and throughout the summer. She’d decided to apply to Boulder University to be closer to him because this time it really felt like the real thing ! SURPRISE AGAIN ! She got to school and found out he had a girlfriend. She was really mf heartbroken over that. But did she learn her lesson? No. Does she still fall in love with anyone who looks in her direction? Yes. 
Okay and lastly she has been working all sorts of jobs throughout college because her mom is helping her pay for tuition and rent so she’s gotta cover spending money ! She ended up getting a job at Big Bear Resort during her last winter break as an ice skating instructor because she used to do ice skating back in the day. Now she works at Big Bear during her school breaks and on some weekends !

Then, assume the initial position. 3. Kneeling Kickback. The kneeling kickback exercise works on the gluteus maximus, the largest muscle in your butt. Steps Kneel on the floor and assume the push-up position with your knees parallel to your pelvis. Let your knees and palms support your body weight. Now, bring your right knee to your chest and then kick back, as high as you can. Repeat this with your left leg. Do the set for 10 times. 4. The Lunge. This is one of the best exercises to tone your buttocks. Try to incorporate some weights when you do this exercise. Steps Stand straight with your feet about 3 centimeters apart. Step forward with your right leg and bend your left leg to come to a “proposing” position. Do this with the left leg. Repeat the set for 10 times. 5. Scissor Kicks. This is a great way to tone your buttocks as well as lower abdomen muscles. Steps. Lie on your back on a mat. Extend your arms fully, with your palms facing down. Lift both your legs slowly so that your heels are off the ground. Now, lift your right leg to an angle of 45 degrees and lower the left leg till it is about 3-4 inches from the ground. Alternate the movements between your right and left legs. Repeat at least 15 times. 6. Leg Lift. This is another exercise to tone your buttocks as well as lower abdomen muscles. Steps Lie down on the mat with your legs straight in the air. With your hands and arms flat on the mat, raise your hips off the ground. Hold for five seconds. Anti Aging Exercise Program
This post is going to focus on a few workout templates to try out and tweak if you are over 40.
Exercising each and every day…
…without becoming exhausted in the process.
(Here are the links to part 1 and part 2 of this article.)
The body begins to “default into decay” at some point in your 40’s or 50’s. Daily exercise is the signal your body needs to override the default aging process.
I discuss this in detail in part 2 of this series.
Does daily exercise sounds tough or exhausting?
Well…the workout templates I’m going to lay out are geared towards increasing energy NOT depleting it.
I’ve found that doing something 7 days per week is, in some ways, easier than trying to do it 4-5 days per week.
Daily repetition is the way to create a habit.
…and habits are the way to do things on autopilot (little effort). 
So let’s get right into the workouts.
#1: The Clarence Bass “Lift Once Per Week” HIT Template
This is a workout outlined based around the way Clarence Bass has trained the past 10+ years. This guy has stayed ultra-lean (5-6%) and muscular since 1980.
He is currently in his late 70’s and still super-lean and healthy.
This workout is a modified version of HIT…the one-set-to-failure approach that Mike Mentzer and Arthur Jones made popular in the 60’s-90’s.
This is a bare bones outline.
Clarence covers this in greater detail in his books and on his site.
Mon: Whole Body Resistance Training Workout
Tue: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Wed: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Thu: HIIT Followed by 20 Minutes Walking
Fri: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Sat: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Sun: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Exercise Selection: Choose 8-9 exercises that work each muscle group in the body. For instance these 8 exercises would do the trick: Squat, Bench Press, Dumbbell Shoulder Press, Chin Up, Tricep Extension, Barbell Curl, Hanging Leg Raise, and Standing Calf Raise.
Sets and Reps: 2-3 warm-up sets per exercise and just 1 work set. Aim for around 6-10 reps, depending upon goals. Track your workout and try to maintain or improve in reps or weight on a consistent basis.
Only 1 resistance training workout every 7 days?
Clarence Bass took Mike Mentzer’s low volume one-set-to-failure approach and reduced it to the bare minimum.
In fact, if Clarence doesn’t feel 100% recuperated, he will take 9 days in between resistance workouts!
I figured Intermediate-to-Advanced lifters would enjoy this.
A large segment of the people who buy my courses and read my site and newsletter have been training for 15+ years.
The gym can get dull if it feels like the movie Ground Hog’s Day.
This minimal routine could be a fun thing to try out.
In fact…in Nov-Jan this is exactly what I plan on doing.

Then beginning in February…
I will use a routine that is dramatically different (my Visual Impact Frequency Training program).
I like the idea of using a contrasting program to get the body to respond, once a routine gets stale.
Note: Full details of Clarence Bass’s minimal routine are found in his book “Challenge Yourself at Any Age”.
Also…bring tunes that get you pumped up for intense sets.
My preference is early-to-mid 90’s techno.
Trippy techno that they blasted in huge warehouses back in the day, works for me.

#2: The Greg O’Gallagher “Minimal RPT” Template
Greg O’Gallagher has a number of popular programs based around gaining size and losing fat with a minimum amount of time working out.
The term “Minimal RPT” describes it well.
RPT stands for Reverse Pyramid Training.
All that means is that you do the heavier low-rep sets, before the lighter high-rep sets.
My recommended tweak for 40+ year olds: Simply add in walking on your off days, and possibly one HIIT cardio workout once per week if you have the energy.
I’ll include his general outline with my added tweaks (walking).
Mon: Workout A – Half the Body Resistance Training
Tue: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Wed: Workout B – Other Half Resistance Training
Thu: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Fri: Workout A – Half the Body Resistance Training
Sat: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Sun: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Exercise Selection: Choose 4-5 exercises for Workout A and 4-5 exercises for Workout B.  The goal will be to work the entire body by the time you go through both workouts.
Example for Workout A: Incline Press, Standing Press, Skull Crusher, Lateral Raise, and Hanging Leg Raise.
Example for Workout B: Weighted Chin Up, Hang Cleans, Barbell Curl, Bulgarian Split Squat, and Standing Calf Raise.
Sets and Reps: After warming up do a set of 5 reps. Rest 2-3 minutes and reduce weight by 10%, then do 7 reps. Rest 2-3 minutes and reduce weight by another 10% and do one last set of 9 reps.
So 3 total work sets per exercise.

This is just a small portion of what Greg teaches.
All of his programs are killer.
Since I mentioned classic techno and shared a video above…
I have to include one of the greatest electronic tracks of all time.

Okay, back to reality.
#3: Visual Impact “Strength Without Excess Size” Template
Like Greg, I have a number of programs for various goals. 
I’ll share with you one of the setups I recommend when men and women want definition with little to no extra size.
The key here is to lift short of failure in each set.
Training to failure is what breaks down and builds the muscle.
Not training to failure allows you to train each muscle group more often…since less recovery time is required.
Repeated frequent sessions, that don’t break the muscle down, are an ideal way to build definition without excess mass.
Mon: Workout A – Back, Chest, Abs (cardio)
Tue: Workout B – Shoulders, Triceps, and Biceps (cardio)
Wed: Legs and HIIT Cardio (or just HIIT cardio)
Thu: Workout A – Back, Chest, Abs (cardio)
Fri: Workout B – Shoulders, Triceps, and Biceps (cardio)
Sat: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Sun: Walk 45-60 Minutes
Exercise Selection: Two exercises per body part. Simply choose exercises that you feel in the target muscle group.
Example for Workout A: One Arm Dumbbell Row, Lat Pulldown, Barbell Bench Press, Incline Dumbbell Press, Lying Leg Raise, and Planks.
Example for Workout B: Seated Dumbbell Press, Lateral Raise, Alternate Dumbbell Curl, Concentration Curl, Triceps Kickback, and Lying Triceps Extension.
Example for Workout C (optional): Squat and Dumbbell Step Ups. A lot of women in particular have larger legs than they would like. In this case I recommend that they just do legs once per week…or skip entirely until the legs slim down a bit. The HIIT cardio will help maintain leg definition.

Sets and Reps: 4-5 sets of 5 reps for most exercises. The key is to stop 2-3 reps short of failure for muscle groups you don’t want to add size to. Higher reps can create a “pump” in the muscle, which contributes to growth. Since this particular routine is strength without size, we can avoid that by sticking to lower reps.
Note: Are you a woman who wants to add a ton of muscle? No problem…there are a gazillion programs that can teach you to do that. My women’s program is aimed at helping women get stronger without having to go up a few sizes in jeans.
One last thing…
You can almost always benefit from walking.
Feel worn out?
Walk for 45-60 minutes.
Don’t have time to get to the gym?
Walk for 45-60 minutes.
The reason I wanted to show Clarence Bass’s minimal routine, is to get you to realize that it is fine to skip a workout if you don’t feel recovered.
Just get in some sort of daily exercise and you will be good!
I really do believe that moving more NOT less, is what improves long-term health.
Hopefully these workout templates give you some ideas on how to incorporate daily exercise into your life.

Morpheus: Do you daydream often? Of what?
I daydream often actually. I usually drift off when I’m flustered or doing something at work where I don’t have to communicate to others. I daydream of scenes actually. Action scenes, scenes from dramas, I don’t daydream of more realistic things like what I’d do with X amount of money, It’s rarely having anything to do with me in them. I dream of scenes and their  emotional impacts. I think that’s how a lot of good stories start, as a funny little thing you’ve thought up for a moment that you managed to put down.
Aphrodite: What do you think of yourself?
26 years and I haven’t figured this out yet. I like to think I’m a good rational person. I can’t say for sure though. I’m just a guy trying to do his best with the life laid out before me.
Apollo & Dianna: Do you prefer to be up during the day or at night?
The day. But there’s beauty in the night that I can’t ignore. But the day is when I’m at my best. 
Bragi: What kind of music do you listen to?
I grew up as a metal head, I didn’t get into punk music till my early 20′s. The result of a stubborn and tribal mentality that’s left a bitter taste towards the metal scene of L.A. and by proxy the music. But there are select bands that I still keep sacred in my heart. Punk as a style ad genre also calls to me, which leads into the some of the Indie scene and the like. I also like some rap, kinda picky on the artists though. Depends on their flow and rhythm. I also like lo-fi hip-hop cause it took what I loved about those Adult Swim bumpers I watched as a wee lad. I can talk about a lot of music, my friend. I dabble in a little bit of everything. Except country, that genre can go fuck itself. 
Horus: What is one thing you’ve had to fight for in your life?
A lot of what I can remember being a theme in my life is fighting to exist within a group or community. I think for a long time I was the only straight edge metal head in my city. But my friends all liked to drink and get fucked up, and I had no problem with that to a point, but the people at these kickbacks or gigs would constantly challenge my right to be there. I just wanted to hang out and have a laugh and not have to avoid fights cause I think beer taste like piss water. 
I was bullied relentlessly when I was younger cause I just didn’t fit in. I didn’t look Mexican, I didn’t talk like a Mexican, but I am and they couldn’t accept that. 
 The second any white person found out I was a Mexican-Iranian, their view of me would shift. A white girl in English class was having a great laugh with me until I told her my ethnicity, her jaw dropped and she asked if I was Muslim, I could see the fear in her eyes. I think if I ever got in touch with my father’s side of the family, there would be an obvious divide due to what I am.  
I have no control over what people think, but I am what I am and that reality can change unless I want it to.
Arawn: What is the most terrifying thing you’ve ever done?
I hope you meant this one. Tell someone I love them. I don’t do it often, and there are reasons for that. Love is a cherished thing to me, and it’s so many things and love has so many different meanings and levels. I don’t say it often, so when I do I’m usually very terrified that those feelings won’t be reciprocated. Not just romantically either. Admitting platonic love can be just as difficult. So that would be one of them.
The other was the tower of terror which I got on cause of you. Nearly shit myself.

The right exercise routines, right eating habits, and the right lifestyle can greatly enhance the size and shape of your butt. Want to know how? It is important to understand that to get bigger buttocks, you have to work on both your hip muscles and hip fat. There are three types of hip muscles: gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus. The more you work these muscles out, the more you will build these muscles up, giving your buttocks a toned look. So, let’s see how you can get curvylicious buttocks the natural way. Working out the three muscles in your butt will build and strengthen them and make your butt bigger. 1. Glute Bridges. This is a good exercise to warm up your buttock muscles. This might seem a little challenging initially, but by the second day, you will start doing it more comfortably. Steps. Lie on your back with your feet hip-width apart. Place the weights on your pelvic area. Lift up your pelvis off the floor and then lower it back to the mat. Repeat this 10-20 times. 2. Single Leg Bridges. This is another warm-up exercise that will help tone your hip muscles. If you sit a lot during the day, this exercise is perfect for you. Steps Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet touching the floor. Keep one foot flat on the ground and raise the other one straight up in the air. Place your weight on the heel of the foot on the ground and exhale while you lift your glutes up. Flex your glutes while inhaling when you reach the top position. Then, assume the initial position. 3. Kneeling Kickback. The kneeling kickback exercise works on the gluteus maximus, the largest muscle in your butt. Steps Kneel on the floor and assume the push-up position with your knees parallel to your pelvis. Let your knees and palms support your body weight. Now, bring your right knee to your chest and then kick back, as high as you can. Repeat this with your left leg. Do the set for 10 times. 4. The Lunge. This is one of the best exercises to tone your buttocks. Try to incorporate some weights when you do this exercise. Steps Stand straight with your feet about 3 centimeters apart. Step forward with your right leg and bend your left leg to come to a “proposing” position. Do this with the left leg. Repeat the set for 10 times. 5. Scissor Kicks. This is a great way to tone your buttocks as well as lower abdomen muscles. Steps. Lie on your back on a mat. Extend your arms fully, with your palms facing down. Lift both your legs slowly so that your heels are off the ground. Now, lift your right leg to an angle of 45 degrees and lower the left leg till it is about 3-4 inches from the ground. Alternate the movements between your right and left legs. Repeat at least 15 times. 6. Leg Lift. This is another exercise to tone your buttocks as well as lower abdomen muscles. Steps Lie down on the mat with your legs straight in the air. With your hands and arms flat on the mat, raise your hips off the ground. Hold for five seconds. Repeat 10 to 15 times with both the legs. 7. Plie Squat.
