Today is a special day for me! An era began a year ago. And a new one is going to start.
God bless them both and the series. ❤️🙏 🪐🥥
(Don't mind my calm words...I scream internally because I am in public!!! Aahsgshsyehs)

how sad is it to lost your most beloved friend the one you were girls together with, to a ginger fat man, and watch her turn into a bad friend, a bad person and a dark dark soul

one of the differences between good omens the show vs good omens the book that will always fuck me up is the post-bookshop fire scene. crowley goes from picking himself up, dusting himself off, accepting the loss of aziraphale and Just Driving Anyway to completely falling apart. i do get why people have gripes with it being changed so fundamentally, and i've thought about it a lot myself, but i've never been able to bring myself to get mad about it. i always circle back to how the book was written by two best friends. that drunken, wrecked, grief stricken scene was written in a post-pratchett world. he lost his best friend.

OKAY BUT THE CALLBACK TO THE THE FIRST THOR MOVIE
Anyone remember the theme the first time we had a broken bridge and Loki? Death and destruction.
And now? Life and creation.

if all of xie lian's luck was sealed away so that his followers could get his share of it and hua cheng was his most (and most likely only) devoted believer in those 800 years and he's got really good luck....... do you. do you understand. do you understand what im trying to say here.

listen I expected literally Nothing from the D&D movie okay, like I can't make it clear enough that I expected the most soulless money grab with a good cgi budget imaginable, I went in having already gone through every stage of grief and landed on acceptance and LISTEN
I fucking CRIED during this dumb RPG movie. it wasn't just "not terrible" it was objectively good with a clever plot and compelling characters and sincere emotional beats. this movie loves D&D so fucking much and it NAILS the "a bunch of goobers try to be cool and accidentally discover The Power Of Friendship And Also Great Violence" classic D&D party vibe. their barbarian's last name is fucking Kilgore and my entire family cried in the theater.
I hope they make twelve of these motherfuckers.
