listen im ace and im pro kink at pride and whatever, but the way some of yall are wording your posts in response to the backlash against it is uh. really taking me back to the ace shitcourse era.
yall know theres nothing wrong with being a "virgin", right? that its not inherently shameful to have not had sex, to never have sex, even if youre not ace, even if you do want to have sex someday, like, its fine that you haven't had sex?
maybe if your problem is that theyre trying to police your behavior and shame you for expressing your sexuality, you can say that? instead of resorting to "haha stupid virgin gets no bitches" like my god. do you not hear how fucking regressive that attitude is? i know, i know, youre "joking".
my biggest btvs pet peeve is when people act as if willow doing questionable stuff is out of character... besties, one of the first things we learn about her is that she "accidentally" decripted the city council's security system before she even met buffy, girly will do anything as long as she has built a good enough excuse in her head and thinks she won't get caught!
ngl, it's about quality over quantity for me. an npc can have a total of three minutes of screen time, but if they have a cool name, they can live rent free in my head and I'll spend several hours trying to decipher drawable features from a blurry screenshot of pixels
there is a vague hint of a story here, and that's because every time I try to play thi4f, I get incredibly frustrated with how Not Fun the game play is. like, is the story good? well. but it has a PLAGUE. that should've given it instant 'I'll replay this once a year' status in my heart, but the game play sucks so bad that I've never finished it. I can't believe Not Fun gameplay beat out my obsession with narrative plagues.
anyway, the idea is basically if the original era had a game with a plague centric narrative and some other stuff I liked out of thi4f thrown into a narrative blender, with a heavy dash of horror thrown in because some parts of the thief games were scarier to me than entire dedicated horror genre games.
my toxic trait is picking up random hobbies on a whim like today i went shopping for a cardigan but found No cardigan i liked and so i naturally decided that i can just knit one even tho the only thing i have ever knit was a 8” by 3” rectangle in 5th grade that just looked so pathetic-
Live Emotion Game Introduction 1 - Live Performances
Out first proper look at Utapri's upcoming mobile game, Live Emotion is here!
The game is now confirmed as a rhythm game, and a short preview of the beatmaps has been showcased in a brand new clip.
As described on the official twitter account:
In Live Emotion, you can play rhythm games and enjoy concerts. The idols will show off their brilliant performances in songs with live music videos, and in these music videos you will be able to change their outfits to costumes you have obtained during gameplay.
Further analysis below:
This matches up with the original preview image for Live Emotion, in which we can see the memebers of Starish realised in 3D looking out into an audience of fans and getting ready to perform. 3D dance visuals during songs has been a common element used in many rhythm games since Shining Live's release.
Dance:
In the new clip, we can see Starish wearing outfits from the promotional art for the game (likely the initial 'UR cards' or equivalent) and performing their new group song from the Live Emotion Theme Song CD, 'Kirameki Emotion.' As with other similar games, there is possibly an option with less camera movement to negate potential motion sickness from long play sessions. The models used for Starish look the same/similar to those used in the recent 3D concerts (Song Parade, All Star Stage Music Universe, etc).
Beatmap Style:
As seen in this clip, there are only 2 rhythm icons, (one on the left and one on the right) compared to Shining Live's 6. It is likely that this is an easy level of the song, and higher difficulties (hard, expert etc) will have more challenge with faster beatmaps, more touch types (swipe, tap, hold etc) and potentially more rhythm icons. The same tap noises from Shining Live are used.
User Interface:
The score gauge in the top left (including ranks C, B, A, and S), and energy meter, and pause button in the top right are similar to Shining Live's layout.
Special Time Gauge:
At the bottom of the screen is a 'Special Time Gauge' that raises with every rhythm icon hit (possible only perfects). Unknown what exactly this affects.
If you notice anything else, let me know! Otherwise it looks like we can look forward to mroe clips like this soon!
