This is how Shabowknights work in my brain. It just is.

(Warning this is super long. like really long. its literally like 69k+ words im not kid. ding. i did include a couple poupble to help break up the bup the text. so. good lick.)

BECOMING A SHADOWKNIGHT

There is only one requirement for a person to become a shadowknight: you gotta feel it. you gotta reel it. you gotta feel it in the heart of the cards. sometimes ur having a rough day and youknow what thats fine. the shadowlord is totally there for you. hes your homie. your bro. your bromie. he can be anything you want him to be. but most importantly he is here for YOU. hes the cool boss. he lets you slack off on fridays, he puts slightly outdated memes in his powerpoint presentations. all for you. you’re welcome.

Now I hear what you’re thinking. What happens when the Shadowlord has a bad day? He can’t always be there for you, right? Wrong. The Shadowlord is on that grind, as the kids say. The grind never stops. no breaks. Stops? no stops. the only thing the Shadowlord is putting a stop to is ᴛʜᴇ ᴇɴᴛɪʀᴇ ʀᴜ'ᴀᴜɴ ʀᴇɢɪᴏɴ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴠɪʟʟᴀɢᴇ-ʟᴏʀᴅ sʏsᴛᴇᴍ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɢᴏᴠᴇʀɴs ɪᴛ. That’s right. a whole mushroom just for you. but you arent. so you wont. why not? what’s stopping you? pledging your undying allegiance to the Shadowlord isnt so bad, we promise. it rocks, actually. we have pizza parties at the end of every month. does your employer hold pizza parties at the end of every month? I didn’t fucking think so.

Now I know what you’re thinking. But I dont waaaannnaaa kill the person I love the most! Well guess what? Sometimes you have to make hard decisions in life. Which is why you’re lucky that this decision is actually an easy one! I mean think about it, end of the month pizza party, mortal emotional attatchments. attachemnts. atatchments. fuck. however you spell it. Which one sounds cool as hell? Thats right. I don’t even have to say it. you know the answer. you already know the answer. i put it in your breain and it stays there.

What do you want on your pizza? I know you’re technically not one of the bros yet, but theres no way you wont be after all this, so I figured I’d go ahead and get your order down. Yeah i know the pizza party is a month away. im not ordering it right now. im ordering it later. that way its still fresh when it shows up.

Although the delivery times out here in the nether kinda stink if I’m being honest. dont tell the shadowlord I said that though. he puts in a lot of time and effort to making sure everything is cool down here and like, really he doesn’t need to worry about the whole pizza delivery thing. like he already puts in so much time, the least i can do is cover the pizza thing yknow?

I actually made the pizzas one month. have you ever made hundreds of personal pan custom pepperoni pizzas. its a lot of work. seriously. Hi, I don’t want to bother you about this because it is just personal stuff but I wanted some advice. I’m a junior in high school so I’m reaching that age where I will be getting my drivers license soon. (I will be taking my test around December/ January) I still have lots of time for practice and everything but me and my mom have started discussing the topic of what my car will be. Originally due to family issues my uncle gave my mom his car and we had agreed that it would become my car even though it’s wasn’t my choice. But my mom ended up giving my uncle back the car because he was in a rough situation. But now that my mom is car less she is using my dads car (he has two but one is his personal car and the other is a company car given to him from his job) and she wants her own car asap. She had told me that because she was going to give my uncle the car back (and it was supposed to be mine) she would buy me my dream car instead (a vw beetle) and she would have to figure out what she would end up driving but she told me not to worry about it. But now she made the decision to buy my aunts car (because my aunt wants a new car) and since she’s going to buy it, the car would be passed to me when I get my license (which she didn’t tell me until tonight). In my head she would buy my aunts car for herself because she loves my aunts car and I would get my beetle like she originally said. But since she told me that wasn’t the case and my aunts car would be mine I was upset but I wasn’t going to act entitled. After doing some thinking I told her I would get the beetle myself. Since I won’t be getting my license till the end of the year I still have time to save up money to get a car. I will be getting a job in October (after my birthday) and I told her that I would pay for the car myself and she wouldn’t need to worry about it but that upset her for some reason. I feel that she doesn’t believe I can handle it myself because my parents have financial issues and she thinks I’ll be the same way. So then comes my need for advice, how do I get my mom to understand that I want to be able to do this for myself and I wholeheartedly believe that I can make the payments for a car on my own? Another aspect is even though she claims she loves my aunts car she also doesn’t want to get stuck with it because she also doesn’t want that car for the long run. She’s only going to buy it because its cheaper and because she’s currently car less. (She isn’t relying on my dads cars) I want her to know that I understand the financial issues and that’s why she is making these decisions but I also want to be included in these decisions that impact me. I’m sorry this is a lot and I understand if you don’t want to deal with this.

hi bub 💓 first of all, i wanna say that you dont have to apologise at all! im always happy to help and give some advice to the best of my abilities!! now, im gonna be putting my answer under the cut because this is a bit longer

i wanna start out by telling you that your feelings are completely valid. youre almost an adult now and obviously want to be included in decisions that affect you, especially such a big one as buying a car. its unfortunate that your mother didnt discuss these matters with you prior!

aside from that, i do think that you should talk to your mother about her wanting to buy a car that, in the end, she will just pass on to you! now, i understand that it must be very difficult to have no car right now, especially if there are also finanical issues, but it doesnt seem very fair to me that you have to be the one to be stuck with the car later either. maybe tell your mother how she wouldnt want to be stuck with the car, why would you want it then? point out that this isnt fair, but also acknowledge what a privilege it is to be getting a car in the first place! stress that you dont want to sound entilted in any way or ignore the financial issues your parents are having, but that you simply want to be able to make decisions of your own! maybe you could talk to your mother about how she could use one of your dad's cars if she really needs one so desperately? or maybe even public transport? how about getting a bike and using that for a while? you could also offer her that youll help her get around when you have your car! maybe then she will be even willing to help you pay for it, or at least see how it is beneficial for you to get your own car.

from your ask ive gathered that youve already talked to your mother about it, right? now im not sure how you approached the subject, but maybe this time when you bring it up again, you could prepare something beforehand that shows her just how serious you are about this! maybe you could come up with a plan, or a powerpoint presentation in which you lay out all of the issues and how you plan on solving them—how will you be getting the money? how much do you have saved up already? how are you going to cover car insurance? how is buying your own car going to be beneficial? etc. i also think you should touch on how you understand that there are financial issues but like youve said, you would like to be included in these types of decisions because they do impact you. not to mention, youre almost an adult too! you should therefore be treated like someone capable of making their own decisions! you should also bring up how much you love the car and present getting it as an investment, something youll be using for years to come, something that will help you later on after graduation to get to uni or your workplace etc.

if youre thorough with your plan/presentation (or whatever else you end up coming up with), your mother will hopefully see that you are completely serious about this!

Was happy with the pricing of the movies here. First run movies at discounted prices. The theaters are small, but comfortable. I first saw a movie here in 1987 and it hasnt changed much, except the technology.What disappointed me were the lights that never turn off and when the movie starts nobody closes the doors (I went to the back and closed the doors myself, nothing I could do about the lights). How can one really enjoy a movie theater experience with lights in the ceiling shining down in your eyes.I came here for 3D, because ONLY the Dolby Digital 3D works for me, the crappy RealD 3D doesnt work nearly as well. Then as it turned out the movie I wanted to see was not being shown in 3D at all.I would go back again, but probably sit more towards the front away from the spotlights and open doors.

This place and staff has always given me a pleasurable experience and have gone on various days and times for the last 5yrs Even going during regular hours/days but frequent the senior/family days & hours. Been there during peak hrs & always someone at doors ready to go in and clean soon as a movie is over. Cant go to the Regals or Edwards and the like for top movies popcorn and drinks for the same price or less than what others charge just to get in the doors! Too bad Steve Crow had a bad experience, I have never seen or heard of such a thing all the times Ive gone. Im even greeted & asked where my friend is when I go alone. And acknowledged when Ive not been seen for awhile! Local theaters always best over commercial places anytime!

I see a lot of people complaining about the employees and the seats and screens. Download blackberry handheld software for 8520. I have never had a problem with any of the employees. They arent really friendly, but have never been rude to me or any of my kids. Sure it s small, but for the value, worth it for me. We could never afford to see a movie otherwise. If you get their saver card, you get a free ticket for every four you buy, even on family night. Plus you get free popcorn and free refills on popcorn and soda. Tip..go early in family nights, you will be in line for a bit, and it will fill up.

Dont be fooled by the price and Starlight brand. This place has almost nothing else in common with other Starlights. No reserved seating. No seats in the center (aisle runs down the middle). Small, dim screen. But the other Starlights (Triangle Square in Costa Mesa, Cinema City in Anaheim) have identical pricing and feature reserved seating, center seats, and larger screens, as well as having more total screens, more seats per screen, and nicer aesthetics. Go to those ones if possible. Those actually deserve the '4 Star' nomenclature.

Hate it. We came to watch sherlock holmes and half way through my lady went to use the restrooms and got kicked out cause the management said she was trying to jump movies. she had the ticket stub and she wasnt trying to jump movie.. she waited out side in the cold. while i was waiting for her to return. finally i went out side to look for her and i was very shocked to find out what had happened.. Never again will we ever come here again. Go some where else management seemed racist..

I go to this theater almost exclusively esp so that we could go bowling before or after a movie: $7 refillable (one time before the movie ends) popcorn, clean theater, good sound system, friendly staff. Prices are catching up to that of UA and Regency..$9/adult is more than at some other places; so we are pulling the reins a tad. Maybe it pays to be a frequent movie pass goer..then again, we should head out to the state parks and outdoors more. Head out and shape up, America!

The movie industry is my passion. When I was a teen I loved going to the cinema. This place is comfy, small and a great place to take out your girlfriend. However last time my girlfriend and I went everything was just dirty. Spit bubble gums, popcorn and smelly restrooms. Not a romantic experience at all. I hope they take some actions!

Is this as fancy as Bella Terra? No. But as far as a discount theater is concerned, this is a definite 5 star theater! Everyone has been nothing but polite and friendly. Considering that it is a 4 screen theater with regular old school seating, it is nice. The floors arent sticky, the seats arent broken, the restrooms are clean and most importantly..very nice staff. Great place to take my family especially since we are on a very tight budget.

Today was a rainy, but pretty good, day. I slept a little better last night. Even if falling asleep hasnt been going well. I woke up in a good mood. James had put air in the tires and gas in the car. I gave him lots of hugs and headed out.

There are to many cars on the road. But it was fine. I had a good ride in. And honestly it was just a nice morning.

Some parts were quiet. It was rainy. I spent a lot of time today just enjoying my own company. When I first got there we were all sitting on the porch. I told them all about my powerpoint project and they thought I was very silly but excited that I was excited.

I had some free time and some energy this morning though. So I went and changed into my rain boots, which have finally broken and absolutely need to be replaced now, and went down to homestead. Heather had asked the specialty teachers to work on cleaning that since we had some time in the afternoon. But I had time then so off I went.

I listened to my podcast and I cleaned for about an hour and a half. It was kind of rainy and damp all day but it was hella gross down there. Everything was covered in mud. There was so much stuff just around. It was terrible. I started with picking up stuff off the ground. I didnt get the stuff under the picnic tables because honestly, it was to hard to bend that much. But I also had some of the campers help me collect all the containers and tubs down there so I could hose them off. Everything was going to go into storage and they couldnt go in covered in mud. But then everything was wet from the hose and I was very hot. Break time.

I went and sat at arts and crafts for a few minutes. Caught my breath. Enjoyed the hammock. Enjoyed the rain sounds. And then went down to the office to check in with Heather. She was super surprised that I had been cleaning down there alone. Acted all proud of me. And my stupid money brain was like "Praise???" so of course I went back later in the day and kept cleaning and wiping things off and putting things in totes. Cj is going to come back on thursday and help sort but in the mean time at least they would be able to get everything away from the muddy area.

Heather told me that after lunch I should go help with sandwiches. But I had time. So I went and finished setting up in art. Laid around. Had my lunch a little early.

And went to figure out making sandwiches. But that went all wrong because apparently there was a change of plans, but no one told me. I made like 20 sandwiches when Elizabeth came in and was like. The fridge broke and we arent allowed to use this food anymore. Even though it was in a cooler that was still cold. Which seems silly to me but food rules are important. I just feel bad that I wasted the bread. And another change of plans was that I was supposed to be running trading post again. But I had asked! A few times! And was told no, youre doing sandwiches. So I was all confused. And a little unsettled. Im still unsettled honestly. I hate doing things wrong. I hate being wasteful. Doesnt feel good.

But I headed up to trading post and it went just fine. It was healthy day and no one told me that so I had to get that stuff but everyone was quick to help me set it up.

It took a little longer today, I dont know why but we were having trouble getting the kids up and in line. But it was done and I went to art to wait for my group.

This group was tough. I knew that. Because they were the little ones and there were 13 of them. But it went well all things considered. We ran a little over time. And James, their counselor, was obviously stressed. But the kids were so excited that they made their little quilt square. But because of us running late I didnt get a picture. Ah well. It was still a lot of fun.

Half their kids wanted to use the bathroom and then there was an early pick up and then their program space changed and it was a whole ordeal. I was barefoot but I told James I would take half his group to their next program. So I threw on some shoes and walked them down to the office. Where James met us and took over.

I headed back to art and cleaned everything up. Took a small break. Okay a little bit longer. Wrapped in my blanket in my hammock. It was great.

Im a little sad thinking about it only because Maryland is moving into phase three and I dont know what my job situation is going to look like going forward. Its hard. Im scared all the time, but being out at camp at least feels safe. I dont think I will feel safe in another job yet. And like none of my museums are going to open for field trips. And so its like. Fall at camp was already tentative. It was already like. Unsure. But Alexi is hoping it will at least be some time every week. And Im trying to stay positive but its hard and Im scared about what the fall will bring with covid and with the cold. I am going to try to get into my art more. Try to actually sell things? Well see what happens I guess.

The rest of the afternoon was cleaning down at Homestead and then hanging out with the kids at the office until 5 when I headed out.

I drove to Hunt Valley and went to the Marshals I discovered there. I didnt realize that the shopping center had a back side. And I had excellent luck. I finally found a long sleeve black shirt. To replace my lost one. And I got some gum and a pretty makeup and a night time lotion. The cashier was very sweet. But I was starving and had to go find some dinner.

I ended up going to wawa and ate a hoagie in my car. Just living my best life. I had a long and strange drive home. I got a light on my car that I had never seen before. But I looked it up and it seems like its not a big deal. It only flashed at me two different times and didnt stay on so its probably okay but Ill keep an eye on it.

I got back here and was annoyed to find a cop in the alley. But Mr Will was also outside and it was nice to see him. He got one of those two screen phones, very fancy. He showed me how to look for jobs on facebook market place. Which I didnt need him to do but I enjoy him and his dad energy so I let him show me. He's great. I got in here and it was basically 7. I put stuff away and did the dishes. I got a piece of the cookies and cream cheese cake James made and played animal crossing. I cant believe its september but that brings changes to the island! New bugs and fish! I caught a soft shelled turtle! I played until 8 and then took a lovely long bath.

I gotta say, I'm curious to find out the final page count of Meat. The way we liveblog, the experience is stretched out, so with theories surfacing and such, we might be caught off guard when things are really over. There's only so far that things will be taken, though I guess we're still in for those "original Male/Female characters", I guess. :P That shouldn't refer to the new Reload timeline John created, I think, with copies of all the people mentioned in the rest of the character list. So, uh, yeah, guess the reason Arquiusprite wasn't mentioned in there was because he remained unseen, voided out if you will. And I guess we shouldn't expect an alternate Equius to have a talking role, either?

Blaperile has this idea that the new society in a universe is not supposed to be seeded with the remains of the session nor the universe that came before it. That's actually a valid point; the only reason this society got kickstarted was through the cloning apparatus that was on the meteor! The consorts and carapaces seem like they would be able to reproduce biologically though, so I'm not sure how Sburb normally ensures the planet is a clean slate for a new species to emerge. ... Okay, so the planet itself doesn't really need to be the place where a new Sburb-playing species rises, true. There's a whole new universe out there.

Maybe through "importing" old Sburb technology, the "alpha" planet designation went to Earth C automatically, though.

Or maybe First Guardians are expected to 'cleanse' the planet from outside influence normally, but since this society's outside of the Green Sun's influence, that ain't happening. And Jade won't be going Thanos on Earth C.

In reality, his veneer is as thin and transparent as cellophane. He is the only person who can’t see through it.

Jade does some calculations in her head. Two kinds of calculations, in fact: mathematical ones and personal ones." So, is Jade reading too much into their relationship, or are the dudes just... Both too shy?

"JADE: soooooo JADE: do you want a projection of her first years hit on the economy down to the decimal with a 0.3% margin of error JADE: because thats a thing i can do if itll make you stop talking about this stupid election for ten minutes" I didn't know that were First Guardian powers! :p I suppose it might be her natural intellect though, but we've only known her as the hands-on science type until now.

"She proceeds to dazzle the two boys with explications on complex math utilizing taxation rates, GDP figures, and some damned thing called the “Laffer curve,”" Dang, Jade is as much committed to this as Dave! (Or maybe she learned all this because it means so much to him, that could be it too!)

Like science, or mastering fraymotifs, or kissing, the last of which she has definitely put a lot of levels into over the past few years because, well, what else are you supposed to do with immortal godhood once you hit the age where the dog hormones start kicking into overdrive?" Guess for dogs, kissing isn't that personal. :p And well, I guess Jade's only now learning the real consequences of turning into a real-life furry. At least she won't have had lack of candidates to practice kissing with. She might even have become the Witch of Spacing Out Young Adults.

"Her high-prescription lenses make her eyes look anime-huge. They might literally be glittering, she’s so completely serious about the issue she is trying to stress." And the fan artists rejoiced for all the new descriptions they have to work with!

" JADE: im about to lay out some cold hard evidence so pay attention! KARKAT: OH, HANG ON, LET ME GET A PEN." You can't live together with Dave for years without learning when it's time to start taking notes and grab a fucking pen.

"JADE: evidence about..... JADE: our relationship! KARKAT: FUCK" Pfff, okay, never mind. I think Jade might have hit a wall several times over before, trying to either define their relationship or take it to the next level. These dudes are really sensitive about their feelings, after all.

But it would be interesting, learning Jade wants to know where they stand just as much as the outside world does.

"JADE: you let me live in your hive when im in town KARKAT: I CAN’T BELIEVE... JADE: im preeeetty intimately entwined in both your lives KARKAT: THAT YOU’RE JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS? So, just like with taking on Lord English and acknowledging the lit fuse that is Earth C society, I guess the coming around of April 13th 2019 is when Jade had enough of all this silly business and wants to know what's what. (Also, I suppose the level of intimacy they shared on beforehand will be left to speculation.)

"KARKAT: DOING WHAT?! JADE: dating dummy!!!!!!!! KARKAT: OH. KARKAT: THAT IS KARKAT: THAT IS... A COMPLICATED TOPIC IN MY CULTURE THAT I’M NOT SURE HUMANS ARE EQUIPPED TO TALK ABOUT." Smooth, Karkat, real smooth. Maybe Karkat fears commitment will lead to some of their relationships shifting into other quadrants. And he wouldn't like to be moirails or auspistices with either of them.

"DAVE: also totally unrelated to the economy" ... Nice try Dave, but I think this can't be steered back into that track.

"DAVE: which not gonna lie is the only thing i want to talk about for uh DAVE: for however long it takes for this other conversation to stop happening JADE: so say no!!! DAVE: wha" I think Dave and Karkat might actually have been both content to stay uncommitted and fearful to put a label on it. Also Jade's question will presumably remain unanswered, it's already surprising it's confirmed she hasn't seen them kissing. And that is ignoring the matter of whether either Dave or Karkat kissed Jade before. I guess it's only fortunate for this situation that this instance of Jade never dated Davesprite, it would only complicate things further.

When he dated Terezi in the GO timeline, it went south due her troubles in the black quadrant. When Davesprite dated Jade, it went south due to unresolved Dave issues, presumably having to do with his bros. With Karkat, Dave's been in a stable-ish thing for the longest time, though.

" KARKAT: VERY CLOSE FRIENDS WHO UNDERSTAND AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER ON A DEEP AND EMPATHETIC LEVEL THAT GOES BEYOND HATE OR PITY. YOU COULD EVEN SAY THAT OUR RELATIONSHIP... KARKAT: ...TRANSCENDS QUADRANTS." ... PFfffffff, so this could have been what it was like for the Sufferer and the Disciple, then! They were just never ready to commit? That would actually be funnier than it being this deep and fulfilling relationship. It would also make Doc Scratch' misgivings on the relationship even more hilarious.

"Jade clicks her heels together to propel herself back into the air and actually winks at them before absconding through an open window." Think happy thoughts! Also, I just realized becoming a god sadly never gave Karkat the powers of flight.

Karkat needs to verbalize part of his out loud." Ah, but can they stay in that spiral or will they have no choice but to break out of it?

wlw survey results

thank you so much to everyone who participated in mine and @aliciqvikander ’s survey! we ended up getting 221 responses. below is a breakdown of each question.

disclaimer: there were a couple of responses that we considered to be disrespectful or homophobic that we decided to delete from the survey pool. the idea of this survey was to gauge the feelings & opinions of wlw skam fans regarding lgbt representation in the show; it was made with wlw fans in mind, and there were some skam fans who decided to take the survey and give disrespectful/homophobic answers, which was not the point of the survey.

what is your sexuality?

the most common were lesbians (83 people) and bisexuals (74 people), followed by 22 pan people and 17 questioning, only 4 straight people (whose answers we didn’t delete bc they weren’t disrespectful). there were also several people who identified as gay (4), queer (2), sapphic (2), asexual (5), or other sexualities (lesbian ace, demisexual pansexual, biromantic with a preference towards women, panromantic ace, biromantic asexual)

what is your gender?

the most common answers were female/woman/girl/cis girl, with many nb people (19), as well as several questioning people (5), and just 2 men.

what is your age?

the most common answer was 17-19 (90), with many 20-24 year olds (62) and 14-16 year olds (51), as well as 9 25-30 year olds and 7 people over 30, and just 2 under 14.

where are you from?

there were people from all over who took the survey, but the most common answers were the US, Sweden, France, UK, Brazil, Finland, and Norway.

when did you start watching Skam?

the most common answer by far was season 3 (155), followed by season 4 (32), then season 1 (23), then season 2 (10).

Yes, in a show meant for teenage girls the only LGBT representation was with a gay boy and a pan boy, and that's because straight girls love to fetishize and obsess over gay boys for some reason. The fact that Julie only wrote about LGBT boys indicates to me that she is writing the show not for all teenage girls, but for the straight teenage girls that she used to be.

what did you think of season 4?

the general consensus is that it was rushed and messy, that wilhelm ruined it, and that sana was sidelined in her own season. there were a few people who said they liked it, and some pros that were written were that iman was wonderful, the balloon squad was great, the los losers scene, and that they liked yousana. here are a few great ones:

horribly written, with subtle racism and islamophobia to boot. sana deserved so much better. also, bringing back william and p-chris was so unnecessary. they were making progress with noora realizing that william never loved her and was an abuser, and then it's like they backtracked on all of that just for...what purpose? completely unnecessary. noora, vilde, and eva don't need any men in their lives, and any tying of loose ends of their stories in season 4 should have been about that.

pandering to women who fetishize evak/queer male relationships!!! also some major other bullshit!!! (why is william back wtf, why is p chris still around, why tf are evak living together theyre children, vilde needed season 6 to #come #out though so im not too mad)

I think it suffered from weak writing more than anything else. The story totally stalled out at the hiatus and Julie seemed to be unable to get it going again and then found herself without enough time to tell the whole story. She is saved as usual by the strength of her characters-- I think she's great at character building but very over-rated as a storyteller.

HAHAHAHA where to start. It’s almost my least favorite season, nearly tied with S2, though my burning hatred of William edges out. But I will say that from a writing perspective, as much as I despise Noorhelm, their relationship kept S2 anchored and prevented the season from losing focus too often. I do think S2 was messier and more bloated than S1 and S3, but it still feels like a more cohesive narrative than S4, which was so sloppy that I can’t believe the same person wrote something as tight as S3. The criticisms seem almost endless and I’ll probably forget something but here are a few off the top of my head: -TERRIBLE SEASON FOR GIRL SQUAD. This is what really surprised me about S4. It was the last chance to enjoy them as a friendship unit and most of the season they were unbearable. I’m not saying they had to have a perfect friendship, I was expecting some conflict and I was fine with that but it was almost all unpleasant moments with no good moments to balance them out. Sana having to apologize for everything but the rest of the girls never apologizing for their ignorance or hurtfulness. Eva and Chris doing nothing but partying most of the time. Vilde being an annoying caricature. Noora … I’ll get to Noora. The los losers clip is a good moment in itself but doesn’t make sense in the larger context, there are several plot holes, and we never ever hear the girls talk about their issues afterwards. -Noora was overused at the expense of the other girls, including Sana, and I couldn’t even enjoy her and Sana’s relationship because I felt like it wasn’t there to explore their friendship, but to give an excuse for Noorhelm to rise again and to get Noora involved in the stupid Sana/Yousef/Noora triangle. I loved Noora but it felt like all the other girls were unfavorably compared to her, like of course Noora got to be Sana’s ally and Vilde/Chris/Eva were just off being drunk and terrible somewhere. It got ridiculous in episode 9 when we started getting texts about Noora’s living situation, of course it’s Noora who Sana’s mom thinks is beautiful with her red lipstick, of course it was Noora who gets to give Sana detailed advice in Maghrib and the other girls have less to contribute. There were a few moments with Chris, maybe. But we got better material from Vilde, Chris, and Eva in the last episode than we’d gotten all season. -Sana taking a backseat to Noorhelm drama at the climax of her own season, enough said. -Even’s plotline being dropped … after what was widely considered a respectful portrayal of mental illness in S3, Julie hugely messed up with Even in S4. Yeah, it was Sana’s season, but maybe don’t introduce a character’s suicide attempt if you’re not going to address it properly? The utter shittiness of having a mentally ill character who says he’s tired of people trying to tell him how he feels, and never letting him give his own side of the story, only hearing it from other people. -A fight that makes no sense, a love triangle that makes no sense, characters not talking to each other just to prolong the drama, characters acting OOC, characters acting like the worst versions of themselves. -Bad pacing, subplots being juggled and dropped and picked up and abandoned at whim, so much filler and wasted time. I've seen people say Sana was out of focus because Julie had to wrap up loose ends but like, she didn't? She spent time on bullshit no one cared about and ignored actual dangling plot threads. Why are we spending so much time on racist Pepsi Max girls and what's up with Noora and Yousef or Noora and William when we could be addressing Vilde's mysterious home life, giving Chris depth other than funny fat girl, getting into this Even sad backstory that Julie chose to introduce in Sana's season, exploring why Elias got so drunk he could barely stand... the list goes on? Not to mention, you know, focusing on SANA. I’m going to stop now because I’ll be here all day, lol. The thing is, as messed-up as this season is, I’d still rather have this than nothing, sadly, because Iman is wonderful and I enjoyed seeing her show off her acting chops. I wish she could have had a better season but I’m happy such an awesome human being got to be so visible; even if the season was disappointing, Iman being in the public eye meant a lot to Muslim girls around the world. And I’ll always be thankful to Julie for Evak, because their relationship was one aspect of canon that was consistently well-handled. Their story resonated with me and meant a lot to me. I just wish everything else in the show was treated with as much care as the Evak romance, and that S4 was as carefully and thoughtfully written as S3.

CONCLUSION: wlw skam fans were disappointed in the lack of representation, as well as the last season of the show. evak was great, but it would have meant the world to many of us to make one of the female characters not straight, especially after all of the queerbaiting. the VAST majority of people think that vilde was a lesbian, which is very telling. also wlw love sana and hate wilhelm.

Elliott left, and it sucks because I know he had a lot left to prove. I don't want anyone to know how badly this sucks, but I really feel it in my heart because one of the people I cared about the most in this game was just ripped from me. Honestly, now that Elliott's not here, I'm going to be a heartless bitch. I'm gonna fight for him so hard now. Though I'm hurt, I still have to play this smart. I can be sad, but they can't see none of that. I have Riley here at merge with me. I'm in a good position, and I'm not going to jeopardize that because I got my feelings hurt. I'll take this loss with grace; but the thorns are showing. I'm out for blood.

Anyway, so back to elliot, we merge, and i reunite with callie who i was pretty close to in the beginning, and she exposes ELLIOT WAS SAYING 'OH ONCE WE MERGE ADAM HAS TO GO' ....EXCUSE?, if she wasnt lying, then what the hell!!! another example of him being a hater for no reason, and of course hes on the jury, so when i innevitably get blindsided like i deserve, itll be SO fun to catch up with him. anyway. So here's what we got going on. Sam/Callie are immune. Good for them. They needed it. Especially Sam. I didnt talk to her at all, she tried messaging me, but i need her gone. She's dangerous, and was part of that kait group that i want no part of because they know i got them with that so they should want to come after me. Callie? I was close to her in the beginning and i would like to keep her a little close but i know her and lexi are a definite duo and that's threatening. She needs to go soon too. Im in good with logan, riley, ryan, and jakey. They think we're all one good group. Which for now, we are. But i have other plans. Let me give you guys a one by one scenerio of everyone, then ill expand and give you an analysis of how the games going as far as alliances and what not, at least with how im putting the pieces togehter of what im being told, could it be true? hopefully, but who knows maybe im just being delusional again like in egypt! 1) Jakey - One of my number 1s in this game. Someone I want to go far with, even to the end with perhaps. Depending how he plays going foward and the connections he has. 2) Jessy - My other number 1 in this game. Me and jessy have a long history, similar to jakey as ive said before, but what makes us working together good is, no one knows how close we all are. Also she just won last season, i think i do want to go the end with her, but again, i dont want to think that far ahead. 3) Logan - a cutiepie! my little bb, ive definitely grown fond of logan recently, i think he's someone i genuinely like and want to keep around for as long as possible, maybe even take very far if things dont seem promising with my current number 1s 4) Ryan - a legend!!! i love him, definitely someone on my side as of now, but also someone who seems to have close relationships with a lot of people...as of now he's in my numbers, so that's good. 5) Riley - also a legend!!! they're so nice and i love them too, but i think them and ryan are pretty close, also them and jake, which scares me a little. But as of now, in my numbers so ill just keep my eyes on them in a good way. 6) Shareef - A good ally, he's ALWAYS coming to me spilling tea, which is good because he's helping keep me in the loop, but kinda makes me wonder because he's spilling all this to me, is he spilling my tea to other ppl? He wants to go to the end with me he's saying but oh girl he's played 2x and won 2x im not taking him to the end, but right now i want him to go far with. 7) Carson - such a nice kid!! he's only 15 omg, ive talked to him a little since we merged now and he's playing this: im all along im not close to anyone card, which im not sure i believe, if its true i definitely want him to trust me so he feels like he can keep me safe over anyone else, as of now if he's not close with anyone, hes definitely someone i want to take with me far. 8) Sam - she's talked to me a little, i know she was tight with the Kait/simon, so not on my side so she has to go. simple 9) Molly - Was there to firsthand get blindsided by me when we pulled off sending kait home, so i want her gone next and im gonna get all my soliders in line to send her packing. 10) Lexi - hasnt messaged me at all since merge, i havent messaged her. No problem. I plan on voting her out soon anyway. ok so alliance wise here's whats going on me/jake/ryan/logan/riley a solid 5, me/jake/shareef, a solid 3, me/jake/jessy, a solid 3 and my TRUE allegiance. We have a good strategy going on where me/jake are working the gays for us, and jessy is gonna work shareef/carson, although im hoping ill be able to work shareef/carson more. we'll see! so basically, we're gonna bring all our troops together and form the majoirty. everyone's happy for now, molly/lexi/sam/callie will be the next 4 to go if all goes to plan and no funny business happens. From my perspective, there's two unofficial sides popping up: Jakey/Jessy/Adam/Shareef + Ryan Vs. Lexi/Molly/Sam/Callie, with me/Riley/Carson in the middle. Ryan's place is debatable, since I haven't heard much from him because he's been busy. However, even these "sides" don't feel like sides because no one is communicating with one another. Sooo, I guess the more accurate way of putting where the game is at would be to say that there are trust clusters popping up everywhere?? I dunno, this merge has been weird. I would expect people to be scrambling like crazy coming into this tribal, but no one really is? It seems like everyone is sitting on their hands, and I'm kinda tired of it. I get playing it safe, but it's becoming ridiculous at this point. The only name I've heard brought up has been Molly's and that was just hearsay from Sam. Even my damn alliance that I've had since the BEGINNING OF THE GAME (Riley/Jakey/Adam/Ryan) hasn't given me a name, which is just suuuuuuuuuuper sketchy to me. Like, do you think so little of me that you don't want to ask for my opinion? Or, do you just think I'm that much of a follower that I'll go along with whatever you say? He thinks the vote wasn’t actually tied for Elliott and Lexi and we lied which… we did but like… rude. Carson is unwilling to flip unless there is a majority like… how boring but we been knew that he’s playing a goat style game. Sam aggressively tried to get him to flip but I don’t know if he’s willing and he just seems to want to do whatever doesn’t cause waves.. *yawn*. Logan had an emergency so we didn’t get to call and it just seemed as if Molly was leaving. I did tell Sam earlier that I had an extra vote from exile and that I didn’t tell Lexi so I didn’t tell her because I didn’t want Lexi to be mad or whatever. I was hoping she could use it to flip them or whatever but it didn’t happen. Then Molly called her and we all called together and apparently she has an idol that can negate the two highest vote getters. So we planned on doing a 2-1-1 with our votes and are thinking they’ll do 6-2 or 4-4 or unanimous so I’m hoping we make it through and I don’t want this to be late so I’ll elaborate in my next confessional. He'd walked to school, just as he would any other normal day. Stuffed his hands in the pockets of his jeans in the hopes that he would warm them from the chills running up and down his skin. When he looked up, a pale gray sky foreshadowed heavy rain. He'd scolded himself for not thinking ahead and bringing an umbrella, but he'd have to make do with his hood. Who knew, maybe the weather would turn out alright. The California forecast was hardly of any use to them these days. When he entered the parking lot, it was barren. Empty. Not a car in sight to drop students off. As if something had swept the area conpletely clean. He checked the watch on his wrist, feeling nauseous as he read the time. 7:30, 10 minutes before the bell would ring. Anxiety climbed up and froze his shoulders as all possible explanations ran rampant in his mind. Maybe it was a holiday, maybe it was April Fool's Day, maybe everyone collectively decided that school didn't mean dogshit anymore. Maybe Marco was still asleep, maybe he was at the wrong school -- he paled when he saw huge, black letters on the sign spell out ECHO CREEK ACADEMY -- maybe, maybe-- Rave music blared, bursting his eardrums and making him scream. "MARCOOOOOOOOOOO" A familiar voice howled, and Marco turned to see the vortex of an interdimensional portal float before him. Star was peeking her head out and watching him with wide eyes. "star. Wtf u doing." Marco deadpanned as the ringing in his ears invaded his head. It wouldnt stop and tbh he was probly scrwed now welp "IM INVITINGU TO A RAVE PARTAY U SJHOULD BCOME WITH!!" And he took a look around The bounce lounge was quite massive, perhaps twice the size it had been before. Nothing new about it necessarily, but it seemed as if the floor had expanded for the sake of fitting more dancers. Whitch wouldve been nice when marco almost fell to his depth in the spiky spikes!! He felt salty as he folded his arms and made grunting noises to show off his displeasure (this is me when im not at home sleeping in my bed) "Dude wyd" a grown ass man asked as he shashayed near marco "wYD???" Star's lips parted on the name, this time ton e very serious and its a guilt truppy tome u know the one that makes u feel guilt and marco felt guilt but he didnt fukin care he was so thru with all her shit he didnt ask for this and he only dated her cuz that bloody ass moon wanted this Why couldnt HE choose who he wanted to spend his life with it just wasnt gooddamn fare "Goodbai star" he said halloweenly He walked away from them, to get off the danke flore but then remembered "zz SPIKES!!" STAR SCRERCHED "NOOOO" And he was falling, falling to his doom, this was it huh, this was how it was all going to end Marco wiped at his eyes as the air whistled around him, sobbing out that he would miss his frendz (ok one friend), his fam (who kinda embrassered him often), and tom who kinda embrassered him to but u know what... He wasnt that bad "And finally," he whispurred "Janna...
