• Not only I realizs that after request, he would really make awful jokes. İts literally canon. This man doesnt know anything about funny-ness(???) so his attempt to make you laugh is not how good his joke is, how awfully bad his joke is.

• "What does a nosey pepper do? It gets jalapeño business" He doesnt either knows if its funny or not. He just.. Says it. You dont know where Zhask found those jokes from tho- he says its a secret. And he says jokes in a veryy monotone tone. So the reason why you are laughing is not how funny his joke is, how awful the joke is and how he sounds like.

• But It doesnt matter to him if his jokes are awful. The thing matter to him is your laugh. Your sweet little laugh that makes him butterflies in his stomach and also makes him smile too.

• Even if you tell him to stop he will just say more because you are laughing "Pff- Cant you at least tell me a better joke?" "Theres only one thing thats better than a good joke: a joke so bad that it’s good" and you will just laugh at how awful his jokes are.

Soooo lately i have been thinking about a...theory? Of what the plot of the cancelled game "Ushiro" was going to be but i haven't properly developted it yet so it's more like a thought lol, also this is going to be REALLY long so sorry

So piercing together what we've seen from the trailer we can infer a couple of things

1. Considering the cinematic, the scene where we seen Nanako in the roof about to jump and Ushiro offers her a wish was probably going to be the opening scene in the game, or at least the first scene where Nanako appears, which, considering she apparently was going to be the deuteragonist had to happen pretty early in the game

2. That scene seems to be the first meeting between Nanako and Ushiro, as of the later scenes of the trailer he's already with her

Now, why is that curious? Well, she says that for some reason she "can't remember the things i cared about" (or something along those lines) with Ushiro smiling suspiciously behing her, so he's probably at least partially the reason for that (or at least the trailer seems to imply that), homever, while the trailer obviously wants us to be afraid of him and believe he's going to be evil or something along that, i still don't think he was going to be evil or a villain (he very likely has a questionable morality at best, but still not evil) but more like that character that the game leads us to believe he's bad but ultimately has good (or not evil at least) intentions

Now, if i don't believe that Reiichiro was going to be evil (though still probably a really cynical guy, probably even more that his Fukigen version even if gameshiro smiles more often) Why would he take Nanako's memories?

That's simple, that was her wish

From the magazine we know that Nanako has a "bright personality, but a dark past" so it's possible that whatever it may be that bad past (probably linked with her weird ability to see supernatural things? I still haven't thought of that part at all) affected her throught her life and probably drove her to suicide, her wish to Ushiro was something along the lines of "I want to live at least some days without those memories" homever, that wish also made her forget other important things to her as a secondary effect

I think that in the game the wish she made, pretty much all of her life and reason Nanako lost her memories was meant to be a mystery of sorts that was going to be answered over the course of the game, since Nanako doesn't even remember why she forgetted it and doesn't seem to be even aware of the presence of Ushiro at all even if she kinda feels someones's behind her (at least in the trailer) I think that she was going to really know him (since she's supposed to forget their first meeting) at least at the end of the first level/chapter for some reason that i can't actually think about, and somehow she ends up helping him in his job while trying to recover her memories (ironically, those she wished to forget) also, Reiichiro is still Reiichiro so he won't give her a single clue about her past lol, we were probably going to get Ushiro's past and how did he end up as a shinigami (we know from the magazine article that he used to be a human but that's pretty much it) but i don't have a exact theory for him yet

a monster/demon boy,that is awkward but really nice,stupid but smart,introvert but extrovert,shy but confident,basically complicated.likes to tease people .also says sorry really often. more gentle than the others but cant control himself when he's scared.he got @$$ault3d by his aunt.asterix,the fairy's lover. he will also send you shrek memes to make you smile at 3 AM. he likes cats.

a poc girlboss trying to dress like the kidcore/indie kid aesthetics? she is also a cancer survivor and she grew some hair too. but she used to get bullied by some bitches that were the complete opposite of kidcore,so she wants to dress like that way and she likes the aesthetic- marble,the confident one along with xavier. she likes makeup and still watches barbie movies.(she goes with "mermer" [marble] in the book)

Currently reading: Haven't read a book since 2007 or something like that.(never had much of a skill to focus on reading) I don't know what else I would put here. I should homever get back into writing by the end of the year and thus also reading my own wonderful mess over and over again :')

Currently watching: a playthrough of FF16 and Yakuza series game. And my lovely buddies streaming art! It's been several years since i've watched anything else than stream content consistently. Still need to torrent the entirety of House at some point and give that a rewatch. But it's hard to find time to watch something when you can't really focus on something else at the same time, so i rarely watch anything that needs me to stay on top of what's happening all the time.

Current obsession: My blorbos. Always. I guess I could also say Arknights, since it's the one of the very few things I both partake in and follow online actively on multiple fronts. To this day I'm still surprised that a game(a mobile gacha game too, both of which i loathe as a concept) I thought for sure I would not care much about has had a tight hold on me for several years. Happy I have something like such! gives that vague feeling of being in a nice community online. since i've been on a break from ffxiv since Jan 2022, I do miss the feeling of being a part of a gaming group/ people to hype over a thing about together.
