With a new show’s national premiere comes another show’s national end. Dinosaur Train and Let’s Go Luna both end their national runs on PBS today in order to make way for Lyla’s premiere tomorrow. Hero Elementary ended its national run on Friday.
As always, all three shows may still be airing on your station depending on whether the station decides to pick them up or not. All three shows are also still airing on the 24/7 channel with consistent timeslots.
In light of Lyla in the Loop premiering tomorrow, we are losing three shows from the main schedule.
Dinosaur Train, Let's Go Luna and Hero Elementary are all wiped clean from most local schedules. Key word being "most" because your local station might still be airing them. But generally speaking, they're finito.
They are, of course, still airing on the 24/7 channel, but time will tell how long that will last. Luna ended last year, Hero Elementary has been radio-silent in terms of new content, and last I heard Dinosaur Train was still going, but that was forever ago.

started watching hero elementary cuz i heard AJ Gadgets was autistic (i love him so much ohh my goodness) and it's a really cute show. i also love mr sparks. i know this bitch bi. i know he has another mr sparks waiting for him at home.
just a lil smoochy before it's off to another day of doing the most insane shit imaginable (training the next generation of superheroes)

Mr sparks has... no known powers. what makes him qualified to teach a class of super-powered students when he himself has no powers? did he just walk in one day and start teaching? does he have super secret superpowers? could he be a retired superhero? and on that note where are the rest of the teachers in Hero Elementary? why aren't they teaching their classes? does mr sparks teach all the classes? why is this man without superpowers teaching a class with them? these are the questions one must ask when one is basically the only person in a fandom

((Put “📓” or some other version of a book emoji into my inbox and I’ll explain the plot of a fanfiction that I haven’t written but daydream about.
Hrm... four separate ones I'm actually comfortable sharing...
(I might actually count ones that I opened up a doc and wrote the vibe down to capture the energy because I THOUGHT I was gonna write a fic and then didn't, provided I didn't write more than the vibe itself)
A crossover between Steven Universe and Hero Elementary (PBS Kids show) in which Steven went there as a kid, this one has a vibe doc that sometimes I think about fleshing out more--he's supposed to go to City Town and run into Sara and then they get to talking about their lives, Steven's basically being in a post-Future state and the Hero Elementary gang going to Sky High at this point, just to loop in a backdoor second crossover that is definitely not canon to Hero Elementary
This one technically has a whole fic (but this side thing is something I've never written and may not ever write?) but essentially for a bit I imagined the "expanded universe"/series of fics for the Steven Universe fic I wrote off a "blindness" prompt last year, largely centered around antics of Steven and Peedee road-tripping and working a food truck together. Y'know, meeting new people, seeing new things, getting arrested, the usual.
Something something *hands Steven baggage that either results in him getting therapy earlier or else it GREATLY COMPLICATING his therapy later*
Save the Light and Unleash the Light are video games so once in a blue moon I imagine SU characters interacting with the arcade via that loophole (one time I wrote about this actually but most of it has been daydreaming because said writing was one single frenzy during a sprint)
...Is it obvious near the end I was searching my brain for more daydreams I definitely haven't written?? XD Most of my dreams have made it to doc for at least a handful of text, very few are persistent enough to get into my head and stay there. XP))

ok yes but also consider: trans mr. sparks? that hero that aj mentions but never shows up, lightning rod, could have actually been mr. sparks before he transitioned. and before you go 'oh but she's black' what if she just didn't have many pictures taken of her, if any at all? the vision of lightning rod that aj shows could be what he thought she might have looked like, if she was only active before he was born or when he was very young. also i think it's kinda suspicious that mr. sparks deflects the question when the sparks crew asks him about his power on the first day of school. this man does not want them knowing anything about his past hero life.
