Happy 8th anniversary to Selfie (2014)! This show was ahead of its time and was gone too soon.

It’s a romantic comedy series starring Karen Gillan and John Cho. A modern adaptation of My Fair Lady created by Emily Kapnek (As Told by Ginger, Suburgatory). The same executive producer for Bridgerton also worked on Selfie. She’s the reason why John Cho was cast as Henry making him the first Asian male romantic lead in a U.S. romcom series. Everyone had great chemistry and not to mention Karen Gillan did an amazing cover of Chandelier. The cast and creator would be up for a revival if there’s an opportunity as well.

rewatched SELFIE for the first time since it first aired and im still mad at ABC for cancelling it.

it may not have been perfect but it was fun, silly and deserved more than one season.

Eliza Dooley and Henry Higgs were such great characters!

Karen Gillan and John Cho were so good!

i miss this show and i want it back!

i want Eliza Dooley, Henry Higg, Charmonique and that office full of weirdo's back!

im also mad at yall for not watching the show because the title was too "polarizing."... at least that's what was said about why people weren't watching it.

Nicholas Luke Nelson is probably my favorite fictional character of all time. I love him more than anything. I’ve read the graphic novels 10 times at least, I read the “Nick and Charlie” novella three times this week, I watched season one of Heartstopper on Netflix over 100 times. (I am not exaggerating). I HAVEN’T EVEN WATCHED NEW GIRL THAT MANY TIMES. Since watching Heartstopper for the first time this summer, I’ve watched it on repeat during my freetime here at my university. I think being addicted to Joe Locke’s potrayal as Charlie Spring and Kit Connor’s potrayal as Nick Nelson is ADDICTING AS FUCK. It’s the only thing that’s keeping me going fr.

Lazarus Core is dead. The Harbinger of the Pharaoh Syndicate is all that's left. Like a dog, he obeys the commands of his master, no matter how demeaning, cruel or gruesome they may be. The people of Arkham whisper of him, their voices tight with horror. If only they knew how deep the horror went. How deep the secrets go. Sent to investigate a suspicious incident at Miskatonic University's Orne Library, the Harbinger finds the worst thing he could have imagined waiting for him. Not a person, not an item, but a sign, the Yellow Sign, painted on a wall. And it’s too late, even destroying it, it’s too late.

It all happens so fast, a dreadful nightmare. Stolen away to Carcosa, encountering a mysterious woman, trying to save her from a stranger, and failing. Returned to Earth by the masked Duke of the Yellow Court, the Harbinger is told by his master that Carcosa will take him back, again and again, until he’s lost to it forever. It’s a fate the Harbinger would do anything to avoid. But it’s a different problem that consumes him when he learns the identity of the woman he met: his childhood friend, Amie DuPont. And the Harbinger will do anything for his friends.

Weaving in and out of Carcosa both sleeping and awake, the Harbinger dodges the Duke and his allies in a desperate attempt to reunite with and rescue Amie. But the trouble isn’t just otherworldly. Several Professors of Miskatonic University, led by head librarian Henry Armitage and his son William, blame Amie’s disappearance on the Pharaoh Syndicate, and are forming a resistance against the criminals that control Arkham. They have no idea what they’re truly tangling with, and just like Amie, the Harbinger may not be able to help them even if they wanted it.

He may not be able to help himself, either. With every defiant action he takes, the Court grows more and more interested in his existence. The Duke becomes curious. A stranger in yellow robes pursues him, through Carcosa and reality. The Harbinger will do anything for his friends, but when he comes face to face with the past he’s tried so hard to escape, what will he be able to do for himself?

Hi, I saw on your post /668440219491729408 that you were wondering about the meaning of that Selfie scene. Eliza was blowing a kiss that was supposed to be for Freddy, but Henry thought it was for him. So after Henry caught Eliza's kiss, he tried to recover from embarrassment by making a fist pump to hide it :)

Ahh I see! Poor Henry- he thought her kiss was for him but then saw Freddy catch it as well and then figured it was for him 🥺 Thank you for explaining it :)
