barely even a minute into Hellraiser: Judgement and it opens with Pinhead giving a speech about how people can just watch porn and technology makes sinning too easy or whatever, which is a bit cringe, especially in this franchise, but fine, but then they're talking about how "the house is shrinking" or whatever and they want to get more souls, but like? if people are sinning more, wouldn't you have more souls? you should be overflowing with souls if sinning is easier, unless you can literally only come when called by the box and anybody that doesn't open the box just gets their souls sent somewhere else. also, i don't think starting a movie with how you need to evolve beyond the box in a digital age is a great choice, considering i feel like it's going to be a major player in this movie as well, and also, you guys say you want to move past the old stuff but you still keep including Pinhead in these movies as if Hellraiser is just Pinhead and it really shows how little you actually mean what you say, and how little you actually understand this franchise.

Again, not super horrible and I've seen worse, especially in the Hellraiser franchise. This one doesn't really feel like a Hellraiser film. Feels more like Seven or a Saw film. Again, I missed Doug Bradley as Pinhead.

oh my fucking god, it's over, and they did it! they made another good Hellraiser movie! one last good one before they got rebooted into oblivion. this movie is so much better than it has any right to be. and they even made Hellraiser movies weird again! sure, it's very derivative of Se7en, but it's not just Se7en with Hellraiser signifiers bolted onto it, it's like an actual Hellraiser movie, with actual Edge and something interesting to say and show. unlike the last four films, this weirdly feels like a passion project somebody actually wanted to make and cared about. the 10th movie in the Hellraiser franchise is like actually good. i'm as shocked as you are. top 4 Hellraiser!

I have a really cool request. The reader is gonna be in a storyline with TJD, she’s on NXT and in a tag team with Cora Jade. Her bad Cora are the reigning NXT and Women’s Tag Team champions. After their match against The Unholy Union Judgment Day pops up on the tron telling her that she is too good to be a partner with Cora. The next RAW after her and Cora lose the titles to Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, she blames Cora for losing the titles, she starts beating Cora like Judgment day beat up Edge, soon the judgment dat makes an appearance and tells her that they are proud and tells the WWE universe she is the Hellraiser of Judgment day and will raise hell on the women’s roster along side Rhea Ripley.

This can either be platonic or with any member of Judgment Day

Description: After losing a tag team match with Cora Jade, you decide to start over fresh

You smile high fiving Cora Jade, walking out to your theme song Born to be wild by Steppenwolf hugging and high fiving fans. You and cora fight smile after winning against The Unholy Union suddenly hearing music looking to see The Judgement Day on the jumbo tron "Y/N you know you're too damn good to be Cora's partner" you starred in a mix of confusion and shock at the jumbo tron wondering what was going to happen and what they were going to do "Your judgement day is coming" you feel a shiver go up your spine at the Irish voice as you and cora walk backstage. You feel the adrenaline in your body wear off as you jump from the ropes landing on Shayna Baszler doing everything you can to pin her but you get pushed off tagging cora in, cheering her on as she and Ronda Rousey tackle and throw each other until ronda gets the win making your blood boil and as the two of you walk away you couldn't handle the feelings and emotions from the past few months oozing out turning and smacking her with everything in you seeing red and losing it, dragging her back in the ring by her hair. You hit her and grab a chair hitting her with it and taking the other chair you grabbed locking her leg in it before getting on the ropes and jumping perfectly on it making her cry out in pain grabbing her hair ready to finish her off until music starts playing turning to see the judgement day walk out "Yes well done finish her off my dear" you look to see Rhea walking in the ring with a smile on her face as the boys come in surrounding you and cora "This is the day you start over clean. New life, new family, and new you" you stare at Damian turning to look at each of the four. "You proved yourself to us from now on you will be the Hellraiser of judgement day, you and rhea would make a good team against the rest of the women" you look at Dom as you steps closer to you holding out his hand to you, taking a deep breath and closing your eyes opening them and tying cora in between the ropes looking at the four standing to your left watching nodding jumping against the ropes and performing your move called twist and slam, getting up and back in the ring wiping the painted flower off your face, grabbing dom's hand, and after a lot of booing mixed with cheering the five of you leave changing yourself over the next couple of weeks. You have your hair cut, split dyed purple and black, wearing judgement day merch, and you gain the courage and tell Finn your feelings for him feeling a sense of love and family from the group than you ever had in your life, being considered a little sister to damian immediately after you joined always being ring side to distract the ref, being rhea's partner in hell always one step ahead to win and being her best friend and sister, you and dom became attached at the hip immediately acting like siblings to each other being an older sister to him and he was the greatest and truest best friend you ever had, and finn became the love of your life always at the ring or by your side with a hug or kiss on the cheek and the fans soon called the two of you Hellraiser and Irish Beast always showing fans how you cared for each other but the five of you showing the true meaning of family.

LISTEN I CRY EVERY FUCKING TIME it's just the best, ROBOT DADDY??? HOT MOMMY???? The T-1000 is so scary?? ALL THESE RIDICULOUS EPIC FIGHT SCENES AND THE ACTORS ARE JUST NOT EMOTING AT ALL BECAUSE THEY'RE ROBOTS? The director's cut with the extra scene where John is trying to teach the Terminator to smile and you realize when he does his little side smirk it's because he's copying John's smile, bc when he copied randos it didnt fit on his face?!??! Eddie Furlong's voice cracking which feels like such a happy accident because he's a weak little fragile human in contrast to the killing machine?? PLEASE.

IT'S WEIRD, IT'S KINKY, IT'S GAY, IT'S CHEESY, IT'S GOT PRACTICAL EFFECTS THAT ARE KINDA COOL BUT KINDA STUPID, IT'S GOT THE GRAINY 80S COZY FEEL, IT'S GOT INCREDIBLE FEMALE SEXUALITY AND BAD ACTING, I JUST LOVE IT. It's just a movie I put on when I need to relax and wow it just makes me really happy ;.;

Pet Sematary [1989]

okay this one and the next one and the last one are all GRAINY 80S COZY FEEL, you have to understand that I grew up watching 80s horror from like the age of 5 so that flim look, the grain, the flat lighting, it just !!!!!!! gives me so much cozy fuzzy warmth for childhood and I just adore it. Anyway !!!!!!1 I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH it's so extremely dark and also extremely absurd, somehow it's so magnetic that you are immediately immersed even though it's got the aesthetic of a bad TV movie, it's just wonderful I adore it. ALSO a rare super faithful Stephen King adaptation!

PRACTICAL EFFECTS MY BELOVED!!!!!!!!11 blah blah cozy 80s, but also! FUNNY! ROMANTIC! TRAGIC! SCARY WHEN IT NEEDS TO BE! I'm so deeply deeply impressed by the practical effects in this film, too! But wow it's so good every time, the hot nurse in this movie is a crazy monsterfucker I adore her, it's a good Armand/Daniel AU, the end is a gut punch every fucking time, it's the best, a naked American man stole my balloons, etc. Absolutely perfect film.

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain [2001]

VISUALLY STUNNING FILM ABOUT AN ASEXUAL WOMAN WITH SOCIAL ANXIETY, PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I think this movie like, changed my life maybe? I think I saw it when I was 15 or so and it just had such a huge impact on me. I used to watch it so much I would just turn the subtitles off because I'd get distracted and didnt even need them anymore. It's a movie I used to bring with me when I traveled, like I brought the DVD with me when I studied abroad because I was so scared I'd have anxiety or get homesick, I just always wanted to be able to watch it if I need to. IF I WATCH THIS AT THE WRONG TIME OF THE MONTH I CRY MY EYES OUT which is cathartic in the end, idk if it's comfy or comforting but wow. but wow really amazing film it's so beautiful and had such a huge impact on my worldview and my creativity and the way I write and the way I do photography and just !!! ;.; I'm gonna cry!

The Departed [2006]

I really like it when Leo DiCaprio cries and he's not a super crybaby in his one but he does scream in pain and have the shit beat out of him and has panic attacks and needs anxiety meds! The cast is sick! The music is amazing! It's such cool storytelling!!! It's exciting every time! The ending fucks! GOD. Just wonderful, I love it so much. The Blu-ray starts over every time it ends so every time I watch it I tend to walk away and let it loop all day LOL. It's disgusting how many times I've watched it. ALSO MY BABE VERA FARMIGA WHAT A MILF god i love her.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall [2008]

this is like such a perfect comedy for my sense of humor, INCLUDING A BONUS DRACULA SUBPLOT CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, but is actually such a clever and lovely story about getting over heartbreak wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this movie so fucking much oh my god. Also ever since I worked on ships I feel like especially potent to it because there's something about the social community within the resort that feels so much like the community of a cruise ship crew!! ;.;

Man there is this weird historical revisionism that happens with terminally online “alt” posers where they like, assume that all the cool underground alt counterculture stuff of decades past were easily accessible within the mainstream and nowadays it’s been suppressed or hidden or is even entirely nonexistent in favor of the “lame” mainstream media. And like, I have said before and will say again and again that there is PLENTY to criticize regarding the entertainment industry and arts as a whole in the 21st century, it has not just been some forwards progression of positive change and improvement and I know that, but it also just frustrates me ENDLESSLY because the reality is the things y’all are idolizing were NOT mainstream. You were not guaranteed to walk down the street in the 80s and hear gothic rock and industrial or even more accessible synthpop that remains popular today, there was plenty of absolute shit music in the 80s lol. Movies were not just inherently better 20-30-40 years ago and in fact plentyyyy of major blockbuster hits absolutely sucked shit and there was an insane amount of garbage being manufactured by corrupt production companies. Fashion was not all cute GNC boys with long hair and eyeliner or whatever. It was not like some safehaven for queer gendernonconformity it was LITERALLY the AIDS crisis. And the stuff y’all are idolizing are now extremely popular in hindsight! Everybody knows Nine Inch Nails and The Cure and The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Hellraiser! This is household name media!

I just constantly see posts that are like “back then there was UNDERGROUND COUNTERCULTURE EVERYWHERE and now all we have is TikTok and Taylor Swift and Marvel 💔😡” and honestly it makes you sound like clowns. You are not finding the underground counterculture because it is fucking underground. The stuff you’re consuming from years ago withstood the tests of time. But there were not goth clubs lining every street corner and cool cult classics coming out every fucking week back in the day lol. This stuff was considered underground, alternative, cult, etc for a reason. You are comparing the most successful underground media from decades ago with mainstream media of today and honestly all it actually reveals is that you don’t really care about keeping underground art alive and uplifting the artists who are doing so now in modern time, or even have the knowledge of how to do so. You aren’t finding today’s “underground” subcultures because THEY ARE UNDERGROUND. It takes effort beyond looking at what’s trending on social media or what’s getting major theatrical releases. You have to engage with music that is not even on Spotify, film that at best may run the festival circuit. And, frankly, some of y’all have wildly rose tinted glasses about what good art is and are judgmental as fuck of anything that forces you to expand your horizons-- Alt music genres have a huge amount of fusion within them now. Deal with it. Lots of y’all sound genuinely racist with your aversion to alt music drawing more and more inspiration from rap and hip hop. CGI is a relatively accessible and still very experimental art form with tons of potential and many poor or indie artists are experimenting with it. Deal with it. CGI is not inherently evil or ugly. Genres evolve and sounds change. Back then plenty of the experimental stuff that we find cool now was made with dogshit quality because it was just people scraping together the few resources they could afford to make something. You only think it’s better because it’s older lol. You are the alt TikTok NIN fan Hot Topic equivalent of people who think they were born in the wrong generation because their idea of the 50s is poodle skirts and milkshakes at checkered diners.

I would be less of a cunt about this topic if the result was not a staggering amount of people calling themselves fucked up deranged alt punk gothic freaks only to turn around and quite literally say that there is no longer an alternative/underground subculture and that capitalism has destroyed any semblance of independent or experimental art because they are not fucking looking for it. Which in turn shits on so many struggling indie creators desperately trying to get their art out there within an increasingly tumultuous, hostile, anti-artist landscape of capitalist modern society. Engaging with underground work does actually require digging for it. The underground work you are engaging with from the past is literally no longer underground. If you exclusively enjoy alt music from the 70s or 80s or exclusively enjoy oldschool cult classics that is FINE but I better not see “back in the 80s we had Cronenberg and Carpenter and now we only have Marvel and Star Wars :( Why did they get Bauhaus and now we only get Billie Eilish? Why is there no more community, no more subculture, no more actual interesting art?” as if these are normal comparisons and actual reasonable observations rather than an admittance of your lack of understanding of the way that underground art actually evolves or even a desire to seek it out. Problems with modern industries aside, with social media and the internet and the improvement of technology like personal cameras and digital art programs both creating and finding independent art is EASIER now than EVER in many ways. You can discover enough music to last you your entire life from the comfort of your IPHONE.
