Radio Haiti FM - Haitian Radio FM & AM Online + (Radio Android Application 🇭🇹📻)
Sure, here's an article about radio stations in Haiti:
Radio is an important part of Haitian culture, providing news, entertainment, and music to listeners throughout the country. With dozens of radio stations broadcasting in Haiti, there's a wide variety of content available to suit every taste.
One of the most popular radio stations in Haiti is Radio Caraibes FM, which has been broadcasting since 1949. The station is known for its news coverage, with reporters providing up-to-date information on political events, sports, and cultural happenings. In addition to news, Radio Caraibes FM also broadcasts talk shows, interviews with celebrities and politicians, and music from Haitian artists.
Another popular station is Radio Vision 2000, which has been on the air since 1986. The station broadcasts a mix of news, sports, and music, with a focus on Christian content. Radio Vision 2000 also provides educational programming, with shows that cover topics such as health, finance, and personal development.
For those who prefer music, there are several radio stations in Haiti that specialize in playing music from various genres. Radio Tele Zenith FM, for example, broadcasts a mix of Haitian, Caribbean, and international music, with a focus on hip hop, R&B, and reggae. Other popular music stations include Radio Tele Planet FM, which plays a mix of Haitian and international hits, and Radio Ibo, which specializes in Haitian traditional music.
There are also several community-based radio stations in Haiti, which serve specific regions or ethnic groups. For example, Radio Lumiere is a Christian station that serves the Haitian diaspora, while Radio Kiskeya is a station that broadcasts in Creole and focuses on issues affecting the people of Port-au-Prince.
Despite the challenges faced by radio stations in Haiti, such as limited resources and political instability, these stations continue to provide valuable information and entertainment to their audiences. With a diverse range of content and programming, radio remains an important part of Haitian culture and society.

I’ve realized I’ve neglected tumblr and have been utilizing other platforms to discuss and spread information on Palestine and how we can support them during an ACTIVE GENOCIDE that many are still refusing to acknowledge.
The BDS Movement has narrowed down organizations to boycott:
Tumblr media
Download the app 5 calls and begin calling your local representatives calling for a Ceasefire Resolution. Call every Tuesday and Wednesday.
If you go to ceasefiretoday.com there you will be able to not only sign a petition, but have an email drafted already calling for a ceasefire! I highly recommend adding something to make it personal.
We have to keep talking about Palestine. We can’t stop. From the river to the sea! Palestine will be free!
And as we talk about Palestine, let’s not forget the Congo, Haiti, Tigray, and Sudan. Active genocides have been happening for years and it’s just now really surfacing the mainstream media. To the illegal occupations of Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Guam. We will see them all free.

Saw your book post and I think you've confused a few things...
You seem to mix up Hoodoo and Vodou a lot. They are not the same. Hoodoo is not a closed practice nor religion. It's just fking weird and poser-ish if someone claims it without ever growing up in the culture for it. But many Hoodoo practioners will tell you their practice is not closed. Vodou/Santeria is closed.
Also saying to be careful not to fall into Hoodoo while doing Conjure... you know rootwork is similar across all cultures right? This just feels like a gatekeeping statement and prevents people from really digging into their folkwork by making them constantly worried they're appropriating.
The thing with smudging: you make no mention of which kind of smudging is closed. You just said it generally, which is a bit ridiculous. Burning herbs for the sake of energy and cleansing is not inherently a Native Indigenous practice. Bayabas, or guava leaves, have been used in the Philippines pre-colonialism. Frankenincense in Europe and Old Christianity. Ti Leaves in Hawaii. Rose in Ancient Rome, and Blue Lotus in Ancient Egypt. As a latina, and as half of one myself🇨🇺, we both know our people love to use incense at altars. SAGE, particularly white sage, is where the line is drawn. Same with palo santo. I agree with your points, but I think you need to be specific if you're being critical.
Much love from 🇵🇭✨️
Hello there anon! I see you sent another ask apologizing for assuming I was Latina, and you're quite forgiven! I am as they say white as white can be.
As a white person I went to an American BIPOC friend of mine in order to answer all of this as honestly as I possibly could. Hoodoo by means of origin IS a closed practice. It's roots come from Ghana and was created in America as a very specific response to slavery. Both Hoodoo and Vodu are tribal/family based, and both require a initiation of sorts through community in order to practice them. Vodu's roots are in Haiti, and through community, enslavement, and initiation needed through the "family" as some groups of Vodu practioners call themselves, are required therefore it is also closed. I shall include some links below to help with the distinction of Hoodoo and Vodu and why they are both closed practices/religions. Hoodoo could be considered a religion in Louisiana specifically due to it's usage there and sometimes it's blending with Vodu. https://medium.com/@empressnaima/my-hoodoo-initiation-5086e375e378 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoodoo_(spirituality) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haitian_Vodou https://cswr.hds.harvard.edu/news/magic-matters/2021/11/10 https://brizomagazine.com/2020/06/15/the-appropriation-of-magic-how-white-people-demonised-voodoo/ Now that I've cleared up through BIPOC voices/history/links on why Hoodoo is in fact closed...let me address the specific comment of
"You know rootwork is similar across all cultures right? This just feels like a gatekeeping statement and prevents people from really digging into their folkwork by making them constantly worried they're appropriating." Rootwork in of itself is a Hoodoo term iirc, but I may be wrong on that front. As for worrying about appropriation...white people SHOULD BE worried about appropriating. Hell currently in America we still through simply social climate and judicial systems are failing our BIPOC/Indigenous communities.
As a folk worker who has some herbalism that stems from Cherokee and Creek peoples I am so beyond careful to make sure my practice is not appropriating from them. White people demolished them, slaughtered them, and took away their homes and sacred spaces, hell, we stole and demolished their LANGUAGE. And you're telling me I don't need to worry about taking anything else from them? The best option is to contact the people you believe is being appropriated from and just...asking them. Wild concept I know. Make friends that are not from your station! Send emails and letters to community leaders in these appropriated cultures in an honest and respectful way to see if what you're studying is appropriated. A good example of this was I found recently an ancestor of mine worked closely with what she called "Grandmama Spider". Grandmother Spider is a Cherokee creation deity. Referencing the above horrors and terrors us white folk did and are still doing to the Cherokee people...I will not be following in her footsteps. Individuals like Cat/Catherin Yronwode has perpetrated that Hoodoo is open, and has caused catastrophic issues with her large standing in the American Folk Magic world. A link to an open letter about Cat Yronwode and her severe appropriation/dismissal of the real history of New Orleans Voodoo being "fake" and "not a slave based religion" is here: https://conjureart.blogspot.com/2013/10/open-letter-to-cat-yronwode-and-lucky.html I don't want to pick on any specific religions/groups of people but all you have to do is read through ONE "witchcraft for beginners" book written in America or England and find at least two stolen items from Indigenous Americans AND the BIPOC/Black community. It's THAT common. Totems and Spirit Animals? Not entirely Indigenous but the ones these authors are teaching about ARE. The same goes for the word smudging, when I mention a book has smudging in it I am talking about white sage. White Americans love to use their white sage with an illegal owl feather and a shell to hold their bundle of sage in. The word smudging in of itself comes from the 15th to 16th century Germanic language and was actually talking about using smoke to rid a home or building of insect infestations. The word we SHOULD be using for cleansing with smoke should simply be...smoke cleansing. It avoids the person reading from having to guess if it's appropriated or not.
Having said all of that I guess all of this boils down to one thing: Listen to the voices of the cultures first. If they say something's appropriated? Stop. If they say it's closed? Stop. I have no authority on anything at all, but if I can speak up just once and give others a platform to say, "Hey this is kinda fucked up" I will. It's the least I as a white person can do.

This is just my opinion btw, it could be a horrible stance to take idk lemme know if it is
Okay so I understand that some celebrities are in certain positions and have contracts with certain company so they can't talk about the stuff with Palestine or they lose their jobs. That's fucked up as hell but in this economy I understand (and that's also another conversation for another time how certain companies won't let their employees talk about a literal genocide openly or they lose their jobs. Like wtf) BUT then those celebrities shouldn't say anything at all. Because if they do say something about the situation they're gonna say something like how they're neutral or even vaguely or directly say that they support Israel's actions.
And news flash, even taking a neutral stance on this whole thing is less helpful than just staying silent. If you can't talk about it, don't talk about it. Don't say anything. Keep your mouth shut. There are just some situations where if you can't say anything, then DON'T SAY ANYTHING. Because trust me, there are plenty of other people who will scream about this situation until they lose their voice. Will make content about it until that's all they're known for. My whole point is that we can't rely on celebrities and well-known people in this situation to talk about this. We shouldn't rely on them in these situations anymore. This post isn't "all celebrities bad" cause I straight up don't think that's true. This post also isn't "give celebrities a break" because I don't care. This post is that anyone who CAN talk about this horrific genocide should be! As much as they can! Even if you just make posts about it that's better than nothing!
I've seen a lot of people rely on well-known public figures to do something about this, but they either CAN'T or WON'T. So it's up to us. The kids and adults and senior citizens on the internet with silly little accounts on silly little apps. And we've already started and have been doing a great job! Go onto any app and look up "Palestine" and you will see THOUSANDS of videos or posts from well-informed adults educating people on the history on this situation to 5 year olds attending protests with a sign in their hands and a watermelon painted on their faces. We can't rely on celebrities anymore. And a lot of us can't even rely on our governments anymore! So it's up to us. Just because you don't have a million followers or haven't starred in a Netflix show doesn't mean you don't have a voice! It doesn't mean you can't do something! Speak up! Donate! Boycott! Go to protests! Make posters and hang them around your neighborhood or something! Make art! Even if you can't do much, which is totally fine btw, do whatever you can! Because you CAN do something. We can't rely on public figures to be our voice anymore, we have to be our own voice.
Like yes, there's a lot of history of completely normal people standing up against injustice but I'm talking about today. How people are relying on public figures and celebrities today. Let's not do that anymore and let's do something ourselves. And almost everyone has a phone nowadays and almost everyone has access to social media. If you're reading this, you probably have access to social media. Use that to your advantage. We've got this guys! We can do this! I know we can! I believe in us.
Side note but if there are celebrities that are taking a neutral stance on this or even openly supporting Israel, as long as they aren't actively causing harm or spreading misinformation about Palestine, then don't focus on them. Don't waste your energy. Stop supporting them, talk about it once, twice, maybe even three times, and then leave them alone and focus on the active genocide going on in Palestine. Those celebrities aren't worth your time, the people in Palestine are. We can't let this genocide just happen right in front of us.
This all also applies to the situations going on in Congo, Sudan, and Haiti. But I'm just specifically talking about Palestine cause that's what this applies to the most. I'll talk about Congo, Sudan, and Haiti as well soon.

Subroutine and all its related stories are no longer available on Archive of Our Own. I will not passively or actively support the website's Zionist leanings on top of denying the active genocide (by calling those declarations a "antisemitic trope") going on in occupied Palestine.
I'd say that was a tough choice, but honestly?
Tumblr media
I'm glad to be away from that cesspool.
I urge anyone to withhold monetary or publication support from the OTW/AO3. Name and shame them, because they've already done a bang up job of suppressing their actions, and uncritical AO3 supporters are complicit in helping them do that.
Remember to:
Listen to and amplify the voices of Palestinians on the ground (wizard_bisan1, motaz_azaiza, ismail.jood) or in the diaspora (iamsbeih, anat_international, byplestia).
Read about the history and culture of Palestine.
Support LGBT+ Palestinian voices pushing against US and Zionist peddling of Pinkwashing, Islamophobia, and anti-Arab stereotypes (of pre/post-9/11 xenophobia that allowed them to invade the Middle East and destroy millions of lives)
Boycott, Divest, and Sanction all parties and actors (lit., actors) involved with the genocide of Palestine, it's people, land, history, and culture. Yes, that means local, non-profits, or non-corps offering sympathy or monetary support of the Zionist movement and all forms of military or government bodies here in the states or abroad.
Do your research: visit the Palestine Archive, Palestine Academy, Decolonize Palestine.
Support organizations like Jewish Voices For Peace and Students for Justice for Palestine.
Call your representatives and demand they vote no on the numerous anti-Arab/Palestine bills or resolutions Zionist organizations such as the ADL and AIPAC are trying to push through. Keep calling them, make yourself a nuisance to these people.
Look into projects like Open Secrets, Olive Grove, Vote Socialist 2024, and in general, become more involved in your community and general elections. Look into what unions like United Auto Workers (UAW) and [Iowa City] Starbucks Workers United (SWU) are doing with regards to Palestine.
Look into supporting Unions working toward a General Strike.
Support anti-Zionist Jewish voices (sexualityscholar). They're gonna be your best source on why you shouldn't support a white nationalist movement that's, in part, responsible for the spikes in Islamophobia and antisemitism across the world.
Support Pro-Palestine content creators (realgodivagoddess, jupiterbaal, blacademics) trying to raise awareness about the genocide going on right now, but avoid grifters like Shaun King (aka, Talcum X/Yasser Arafraud).
Support news publications like Aljazeera or Jewish Currents who are covering the ongoing genocide and pushing back against disinformation and misinformation peddled by ADL and AIPAC.
Avoid Zionist websites like Facts for Peace and Jewbelong (dot org). - Honestly, start using adblockers to avoid being blasted by Zionist ads on YouTube, and etc.
Download the No Thanks app, and use bdnaash to avoid Pro-Zionist brands.
Be wary of/avoid Washington Post/Times, LA Times, BBC, Sky News, the Guardian, ABC News, WBAL CH11, JZ13, CNN, Fox News (srsly), or any other legacy news org. They are actively aiding in the misinformation and disinformation campaign against the Palestinians, and have fired news anchors or journalists questioning the Zionist agenda.
Watch Israelism, Tantura, and Palestinian cinema/films (GQME, PC).
Read the Goldstone Report, IMEU article on broken ceasefires, amnesty internationals report of illegal settlements in Palestine
Look into ongoing genocides or destabilization efforts in Haiti (bertrhude, flowerboyserge), Sudan (bsonblast), Lebanon (meriam awada), Syria (AJ), the Democratic Republic of Congo (sincerelysparrow), Yemen (AJ), etc., going across the Global South. Look at who the common actors are, who benefits from this chaos.
Archive and save all information about this current genocide and cultural history of Palestine. Because they will be trying to rewrite the story, and are doing it as we speak.
There are some just a few of the things you can do to support Palestine and support your own liberation from systems that have brought most of to the brink of poverty, zero job security, lack of proper healthcare, the destruction of our education system, erosion of free speech, and houselessness.
Happy New Year.

Terry taking beloved on a business trip please!
Tumblr media
---
Terry Silver always thought himself the type of corporate sphere man who knew how to separate business and pleasure. Business and his private life. That is, until he got pissed with the official and formally detailed invitation brochure that stated 'Terry Silver and a plus one' and had it changed, re-printed and sent back to him as the appropriate 'Terry Silver and Mrs. Silver' to his exact specifications under the threat of refusing to show up to the summit, dragging a billion dollar revenue along with him merely by never turning up, or better yet, deciding the event wasn't worthy of you, figuring you should stay in LA and from a collective that considered you a plus one. Petty, was it? Perhaps. Wholly appropriate to blackmail the organisers by having them cater to him in everything he's seen fit? Definitely. Never your name on that glossy invite card. No. Your personhood --- who you were --- was for him and him alone. He didn't want your name on a piece of paper, alongside all the guests, journalists, VIP personalities and would-be social issues bleeding heart types. Just your title attached to his like a silent signal to everyone that you belonged to him. Two individuals as one. Silver one. Silver two. You were no mere plus one, no escort, no poultry passing fancy, no paid posse, no secretary, nobody he was just fucking around with and throwing in an extra trip as part of the package deal. You were his. He supposed he wanted the world to know and acknowledge that fact like someone acknowledges the sun in the fucking sky. He supposed he wanted them to know or he'd ensure they'd never see you.
A summit on the preservation of ecology and climate change.
Tokyo.
That was the occasion.
He wanted righteous revenge for your sake.
Even after all these years --- all these decades, rather --- Terry found it secretly hilarious he still got invited to these under Dynatox's banner as the face of the company. The leader of change; but no matter. A few donations, a few charming speeches, a few witty remarks on Twitter everyone fawned over, being seen in the company of app developers who believed themselves ''egalitarian'' and it is like everyone's memory spans were easily scrubbed clean and Terry Silver remained the green new thing in spite of everything, persevering in his own image, transforming with the times. Except, he used to find a secret humor these events he couldn't fully enjoy anymore now that he had someone he always left home and someone he found he was...missing. Yearning for. He felt like a child trapped in an old man's body, staring out the window of his private jet with only a glass of cognac and his flight crew to keep him company, alongside the managerial staff tracking the finesses of the summit while looking out into the clouds, swearing he could find patterns of your image in them, controlled by the one thing he left below, on the ground, concocting ways of hitting the organisers where it hurt for that slight. For that plus one label. Maybe re-direct all the fundraiser donations for the summit he collected into an off-shore bank account in Haiti and screw them over while he was pretending to be their partner. Screw them over for separating you from him even but a few days. For forcing his hand to leave you behind due to the disrespect they've shown you. And then he though to himself, fuck it, fuck this bullshit, don't pack anything, you're coming with me.
I need you.
Had the plane turned around somewhere above Chinese airspace, alerting half of the country to the fact that American Billionaire and entrepreneur was making manevours in the sky big enough to draw chemtrail patterns in the blackness of the firmament. He ordered it. The green new face of climate preservation turning a gas guzzling private plane around on his way to an international conference on ecology to pick his wife up simply because he missed her. He missed you so much he could feel his impatient, idle, mat-hardened toes anxiously curling tucked into the Italian leather of his polishes shoes at the thought of being away, his feet feeling trapped. The irony wasn't lost on him --- releasing enough gas into the atmosphere to pollute a larger metropolitan area. Within several hours, his pilot landed them on the airstrip. The chauffeur was called to drive you out there from the mansion post haste. And there you were, after several timezones, stepping out, his blood, the beat of his heart, the pulse of his brain, the twinge in his cock, the firmness of his fingers. His soul, his soul, his soul. 150.000 liters of fuel later and the ozone layer richer for one gaping hole in the atmosphere, you were reunited. Maybe the world should go to shit, if he could just see you. Be with you. -"What's wrong, Terry? Something happened? We came out here as soon as we could! Did you forget something?"- You're in his arms in an instant, out of breath, worry etched into your face as you embrace. You smelled like home. Like him. -"Yes."- He coos, taking your expression in.
My love.
-"Forgive an old man, must be the age."- He chuckles, as he continues.
-"Forgot how much I wanted to show you off in Tokyo."-

hi! a muslim here!
- i just want to make one thing clear to this anon who thinks they have the right to talk to you like that on an app that doesn’t even give a single fuck about this type of shit bc if you want to make people aware of what’s going on you do it on platforms where people actually stop scrolling and read what certain people have to say instead of being full of fictional story’s for other people to read as a hobby or to get away from their personal lives.
i as a muslim can openly say that palestine isn’t the only country where genocide happens which means if this anon cared so much about us (muslims getting slaughtered to death) than they should do their research right and go look up what happens in china to uyghur muslims and all the other countries. basically what im saying is in short;
yes, what happened or still happens in palestine is demonic and cruel to our society but remember that there are still people out there which we never heard their voices before bc the world is concerned about 1 country instead of being concerned with every human being that goes to this type of stuff no matter what color, religion or identity they have so gtfo this app and go somewhere where people are ready to hear you out and would like to help you cause ain’t no way in hell we gonna suddenly care about the shit that happens to my people on tumblr mf this app is full of smut, porn, art, people expressing their feelings etc wtf u expect us to do on here?
sorry but i can’t just take these people srs again i hope you don’t feel obligated to do anything just bc someone tried to be „funny“ when this is your page and you go by your own rules and everyone has to either respect that or foh. love you, stay safe 💗
thank you lovely, you said it perfectly! it’s not that we don’t want to talk about it but tumblr is a dying app for one, TWO it censors the dumbest things ever so imagine me trying to post a video of a baby being found under rubble or the air strikes?? like wouldn’t y’all agree that moving to apps where you can get more media coverage like twitter and instagram is better??? where twitter won’t censor these atrocities so that the world is forced to see and open their eyes? but does that mean I won’t post and remind you guys on here what’s happening? NO, just bc im more active on twitter doesn’t mean I won’t bring it up here either!!!
but rn the genocide in Palestine is FARRR more severe when you consider the fact that the entire US alone supports Israel and keeps funding their genocide, which is why people are more focused on Palestine! BUT it doesn’t take away that there are other countries going thru the same thing. which is why we are their voices and we need to bring everything to light so that the world can see these atrocities.
