I gotta get back into my new Age of Calamity file (been knitting and playing our second Tears file all the time), 'cause I am still soooo far away from unlocking Kohga and I need to get himmmm again. I mean I could just go in my old file and have him kill some vicious lynels to get my fix or something but. No I want to rebuild My Best Guy and see if I can possibly make him even more Best.

But. I mean.

That would be pretty hard.

(I accept the challenge but I gotta be patient and get through the 'let's destroy the Yiga Clan woohoo!' parts first astfglaslkfjsldfkj. I mean not that I hate those missions, I love fighting Sooga and Kohga as I have said before, and I adore the cutscenes involving them. But I wanna play as them even more, they're just so fun. Also I got sosososo lucky with Kohga's weapon drops last time so hopefully I will again this time too so I can make him an even better Demon Carver. If that's even. Possible. I will do my best! Words cannot fully describe just how happy I am that Kohga is alive. My mans fell into a place full of absolute hellish nightmares and went “aw hell yeah time to build things”

He’s so caught up on needing Link’s magic but like- my guy could have a science job with Purah and Robbie with how well he’s handling living in the depths- I think we should be allowed to bring him up to the surface and insist he be given benefits

He Isn't Gone.. He Can't Be Gone

He was tossing and turning. The Right Hand that is. He was aching up a storm. Everything he did, even the tiniest of things, sent flares of pain up his spine and to his brain. This blasted gloom caused all of this pain.

He woke up in a cold sweat, trembling. He wrapped his safe hand around his throat to try and make himself calm down. His breathing was shallow. Too shallow. He moved his hand down to his side and looked at where his beloved Kohga would lay. The Top Banana wasn't there due to the illness Sooga got the last few weeks. He got up off the mattress and put on his skin tight jumpsuit, clipping on his mask. Of course it would lift up off his face due to his slight snout. He has to kidnap a tailor and force them to make him a custom mask that actually fits.

He tried to clip on his twin swords belt but he winces in pain as he fell back onto the bed. His breathing was frantic as his eyes darted around the room. No sunny meals. Nothing to keep the miasma's effect at bay. It was killing him on the inside out. He croaked out a few selected words as he curls up into a tight ball and let out his pent up sadness and grief.

"Master Kohga.. I have failed you. I am a disgrace.."

The cold was creeping into the room as he forces himself to roll onto his back. He must not let this gloom get to him. He mustn't. He has to live through this. He has to carry his Kohga's weight, ALL of it. But yet his strength was dwindling. He felt hollow inside as the gloom howls and screeches on him.

How foolish he was to fall for that Phantom's trick. How foolish he was to go down the pit. To look for his beloved husband in the Depths. He made a scroll, feathered pen and inkwell appear from a weakened cloud of smoke and frantically wrote down words in messy handwriting, folding the scroll and blowing onto it.

He waited for hours. His health getting dangerously low. His eyes were closed with his arms spread out. He faintly heard a familiar poof of smoke and a familiar voice. He opened an eye and saw him. Master Kohga. He gave out a sigh of relief.

"Oooh Sooga.. you look terrible. Here. Eat now. I cannot afford to lose you!"

The smaller Yiga rummages through his large frill and pulls out a golden tinted banana and peels it, feeding it to the slowly dying larger Yiga.

The Right Hand only could take a few bites before weakly placing a hand on Kohga's wrist. All the color was drained from his face as he was slowly slipping away from the realm of the living.

"Master Kohga... please make sure I live on through spirit. I am afraid my time is—"

"NO! You are NOT leaving me alone! NOT NOW NOT EVER! NEVER EVER! You WILL live through this! You hear me, you big dork?!"

No response came from the larger Yiga as his hand slipped from the smaller Yiga's wrist. His breathing was way too shallow, almost ghostly. His eyes closed again as he lets out a low humming sigh.

"Sooga...? You're making me worry.."

Btw I just want to say I love the Gerudo Sooga idea so much

Fhskhdksbssk thank youuuu!!! He was originally gonna be from Lurelin but I thought about his design, especially when you play as him, the dude is HUGE. He’s frickin ginormous, and since Gerudo tend to be large in stature I thought making him Gerudo would be fun. Besides, I need more male Gerudo that aren’t Ganondorf in my life.
