Who is that singular fictional character that has been so marred by public opinion and misconceptions that they are largely regarded unlikable that you, in your infinite wisdom, still fervently defend with ever fiber of your moral being for not only being misunderstood but baselessly slandered? I shall go first: Friedrich Bhaer

..
Harry Styles & Y/N Y/L/N Answer the Web’s Most Searched Questions | Wired
“Hi, I’m Harry Styles,” Harry raised one hand up in a wave, a bashful smile on his face.
“I’m Y/N Y/L/N,” you smiled from your seat beside your boyfriend, “And this is Wired’s autocomplete interview.”
Upbeat music could be heard as the screen then shifted to show a grey background with a text written on it:
Autocomplete suggests the most common searches on the internet
The screen then moved to you and Harry again, showing a clip from the 10-minute video, “Don’t say it,” you said.
“Am I?” Harry asked.
“Oh, fuck off!” You waved him off, Harry erupting in laughter.
The screen changed again to its grey background, this time with another text:
So WIRED asked Harry Styles and Y/N Y/L/N some of the internet’s burning questions
Showing you and Harry again, you had the white foam board in your hands, looking down at it, “What is Y/N Y/L/N,” you read before peeling the white sticker, showing the rest of the sentence, “Like in real life?”
“Very annoying, I think,” Harry joked, answering quietly with a teasing smirk on his face as he looked at you.
“Ha, ha,” you rolled your eyes jokingly at him, “What am I like in real life?”
“You’re incredible,” he said before looking at the camera, “She’s a wonderful person.”
You smiled, “You’re quite nice, too, you know?”
“Yeah?” He beamed, chuckling as you giggled.
“What is Y/N Y/L/N’s diet?” You read, before looking at the camera, “It’s,” you paused, only staring at the camera for a second before looking back at the board, “Next question.”
Harry giggled, rubbing the tip of his nose as he did.
“What is Y/N Y/L/N’s favorite Harry Styles song?” You read, humming as you looked at him.
“Good question,” he teased.
You chuckled, staying quiet in thought, “There’s too many, I can’t pick,” you said, still looking at him.
“There has to be that one song that just-like, really gets to you.”
“I really don’t know,” you laughed, “I love them all so much. There’s a song for every mood.”
“That’s a good answer,” he said with a smile, “That was a good answer.”
“Was it?” You smiled, looking back at the board, “What is Y/N Y/L/N’s favorite director?” You read, “Um, I think-God, there’s a few,” you chuckled lightly, “Right on top of my list is Greta Gerwig. I trust Greta with my whole life to just-to always give us something so raw, and just-something so beautiful and heartfelt,” you answered, “I also really love David Fincher.”
“I was very excited for you when you were in Little Women with Greta,” Harry told you.
“I called you crying when I got the role,” you giggled before looking at the camera, bringing your thumb and pinky out and near your ear to signal a phone, “I got the role as Jo March, I got the role as Jo March,” you mimicked yourself, pretending to cry.
Harry giggled, “You were so excited. I was–I was very excited for you.”
“You were,” you smiled, your lips only widening when Harry wrapped his arm around your shoulder, giving you a squeeze.
The screen then cut to Harry holding a board of his own, lips pursed for a second before he read, “Is Harry Styles,” he began before peeling the sticker, “Famous?”
“Who?” You joked.
“I have no idea who that is,” Harry went along, giggling as he did so. “Is Harry Styles single?”
Harry feigned a confused expression, furrowing his eyebrows as he glanced from the camera to you, “Am I?”
“I don’t know, are you?” You asked him, stifling your smile.
He looked back at the camera, raising one finger, “I’m actually not.”
You gasped dramatically, “Sad news. Sad, sad news.”
“It’s actually happy news,” he said, looking at you, “I’m dating someone–you might know her actually,” he teased, “This tall,” he raised his hand, “Lovely smile, very successful. She’s an Acadamy Award winner actually.”
Despite your warm cheeks and shy smile, you shook your head at the camera, “No idea who that could be.”
“Is Harry Styles a good singer?” Harry read before looking at you with a small smile and a confused face, “Am I?”
“You just want me to answer your questions for you now,” you laughed, shaking your head, “Am I?” You mimicked him, “Are you?”
“Could I be?”
“Is it possible?”
“I guess we’ll never really know,” he shrugged with a smile.
“You got the worst person to answer questions,” you told the crew behind the camera, laughing along with them before looking at your boyfriend, “You’re an incredible singer.”
Teasingly, Harry giggled at you, “Am I?”
“Harry!” You squeezed his arm with a laugh.
The video then cut to Harry with his board again, “Is Harry Styles on a tour?” He read before nodding, “Yes, I am.”
“He’s been on tour for like 4 years,” you joked.
“4 more to go!” He exclaimed jokingly.
Reading the last question, Harry peeled the sticker off as he read, “Is Harry Styles British?”
“Don’t say it.”
“Am I?”
“Oh fuck off,” you waved him off, your curse word getting bleeped in the video as your boyfriend laughed.
The video then moved to Harry holding a new foam board, that time containing different formats.
“Is Y/N Y/L/N,” you read, leaning forward a little to peel the sticker from the board, “In a Marvel movie?” You read, looking at the camera, “I was, yeah. Just a few.”
“You were in Marvel for, like, 10 years,” Harry said quietly, looking at you.
“More than a few,” you sheepishly said.
“Like–Like all the way from The Avengers to No Way Home,” he said.
“You’ve done your homework,” you teased him with a giggle.
“I embarrassed myself on the internet for you, I think–I think I know your work well,” Harry laughed quietly.
“Aw stop it,” you sheepishly leaned onto him.
With a bling sound effect, Harry smiled at the camera.
“Is Y/N Y/L/N alive?” Harry read for you, “I mean–I think,” he looked at you, “I hope so.”
“Has anyone felt alive since 2019?” You asked with furrowed eyebrows, “I don’t know. I don’t know, beats me.”
“A lot to unpack here,” he joked.
“Next therapy session,” you laughed along with him, “Hey doc, when was the last time you felt alive?”
“2019? Same here,” Harry went along.
“How did Y/N Y/L/N and Harry Styles meet?” You read before letting an excited smile take over your face.
“The Graham Norton show,” Harry answered for you.
You nodded, “The Graham Norton show,” you repeated, “It was when I knew about this guy’s teenage crush,” you teased him, watching his cheeks grow a shade pinker.
“Alright, anyway, moving on.”
“What was that one tweet you tweeted back then?” You put your hand on his arm, “You tweeted me something.”
“Can’t remember,” with a shy, stifled smile, Harry replied quietly.
“Yes, you can!” You laughed, “Harry, come on, be a good sport.”
“I cant remember. This is–This fake news. Rumors.”
“Something about eggs, wasn’t it?” And by the tiny groan he let out, you knew it was right, “It was,” you nodded, “You asked me how I liked my eggs in the morning.”
“She likes them scrambled,” Harry mumbled with a shy smile, “Next question!”
“How did Y/N Y/L/N get famous?” You read, “Um, I auditioned for so many things when I was younger and I remember my mom got a call one day, that was in 2005 I think, and they told her I got the role as Lulu Plummer in The Pacifier,” you said, “I think–I think I never really stopped auditioning for more projects after that then I got the role as Agent Keanna Cross in The Avengers and–I don’t know, it fell into place a little.”
“I loved you as Keanna,” Harry said, “And every character you’ve played, really.”
“That’s–That’s really sweet,” you smiled at him, “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” with a smile that mirrored yours, Harry replied.
Finally, you had another board in your hands for Harry, reading the questions for him.
“What does Harry Styles smell like?” You read.
“What do I smell like?” Harry asked you, turning his head slightly and bringing his shoulder closer to his nose so he could sniff himself, “Smells like the lavender detergent we got,” he chuckled.
“Smells good, doesn’t it?” You asked him, watching as he nodded, “You smell like–I don’t know really, I think–I think you have a very unique smell. It’s not artificial, you know?”
Crossing one leg over the other, Harry intertwined his hands together on his knee, “Do explain.”
“Like I can’t say you smell like this or that perfume,” you began, “You have this distinct smell of a lot of things. Like you smell like that Tom Ford perfume you like, mixed with vanilla scented candle, and–and that cake I like to make sometimes. And I think–Oh, also, like jasmines. Those jasmines we have in the balcony,” you grinned.
Harry was blushing; lips spread in a smile, bunny teeth on full display with the dimple on his cheek as he listened to you describe his smell. He leaned onto you, moving his arm behind you to squeeze your hip, “Thank you,” he said, looking at you, “That was–That was a nice description.”
“Was it?” You smiled at him, only beaming when he hummed.
“What movie is Harry Styles and Y/N Y/L/N in?” You read.
“We’re in a movie called About Time,” Harry answered, “That will be out next month, on October 7th.”
“Mark your calendars,” you smiled.
“Mark your calendars,” Harry repeated, pointing at the camera.
“What is Harry Styles,” you peeled the sticker off, “Song Cinema about?”
Harry chuckled before sucking in a breath, putting one hand on his hip and the other on his thigh, “Umm,” he began, “It’s about cinema.”
“You’re such a poet,” you teased him.
“Right?” Harry laughed, “What is Cinema about then? It’s, um, it’s about whatever you want.”
“Like cinema,” you joked, “It can be about cinema, going to the movies.”
Harry nodded, playing along, “Getting popcorn.”
“Movie tickets, crushed popcorn, uncomfortable seats if you want,” you added, knowing that the song, in a nutshell, was about you.
“And that’s Cinema,” he said.
“What is Harry Styles famous for?”
To everyone’s surprise, especially the fans, Harry answered right away.
“I think for being your boyfriend, really.”
Your eyes widened, looking at the camera as you laughed.
The video then cut to both of you again, that time with neither of you holding any boards.
“I think we did well,” you said, nodding to yourself before looking at Harry.
“Yeh,” he nodded, “I think we did well, too. I think–I think my answers were better than yours.”
“Oh, oh,” your eyes widened, Harry laughing as he wrapped both arms around you. You looked at the camera, “Were you?” You mimicked him.
With the former upbeat music then playing, the screen changed to black, with Wired’s black and white logo in the middle, ending your video.

hi! :D i love your blog, so i wanted to ask, why do you think the barbie movie was bleak? i love hearing people's opinions on the film, and i thought that was an interesting adjective to describe it. you don't have to answer if you don't want to, ofc! hope you have a nice day!!! <3
oh you’re so sweet, thanks so much! ❣️ honestly i don’t know how intelligible this will be considering i spent a few days after watching the movie hashing out my thoughts with various friends and have mostly said my piece privately, but i thought it was bleak because it just… was…
like i did have fun because it is spectacularly produced & i guess in some ways it’s like oh, well it’s literally the BARBIE movie, what did you expect, but in other ways i was just like. oh my God, the faux criticism of barbie as a product, mattel as a company, and capitalism as a concept this film presents… i couldn’t stomach it! like how much of this are we supposed to believe is greta gerwig’s genuine artistic vision & how much of it is mattel indulgently financing a tongue-in-cheek critique of its own contributions to consumerism knowing it will only generate MORE of the same? i found myself reminded of a particular excerpt from chapter two of mark fisher’s capitalist realism: is there no alternative?, where he writes:
“…anti-capitalism is widely disseminated in capitalism. Time after time, the villain in Hollywood films will turn out to be the ‘evil corporation’. Far from undermining capitalist realism, this gestural anti-capitalism actually reinforces it… We’re left in no doubt that consumer capitalism and corporations… is responsible for this depredation… The film performs our anti-capitalism for us, allowing us to continue to consume with impunity. The role of capitalist ideology is not to make an explicit case for something in the way that propaganda does, but to conceal the fact that the operations of capital do not depend on any sort of subjectively assumed belief… So long as we believe (in our hearts) that capitalism is bad, we are free to continue to participate in capitalist exchange.”
i was so reminded of this passage while watching the film that the first thing i did upon leaving the theater was go through my copy to locate it.
there were also a number of scenes i found, ironically, to convey rather insidious anti-feminist messaging despite the movie’s reputation as (and attempts to live up to the title of) a feminist flick, but i won’t go into those in detail because i’m sure there are people reading this who want to see this film & haven’t yet. in the same vein, i found it to be massively spineless/inauthentic/confused? in the stances it takes because, in an effort to appeal to an audience so broad as to include Basically everyone on the planet, it… doesn’t really commit to any of the stances it presents at all. a lot of the points it tried to make about womanhood, feminism, capitalism, motherhood, and the patriarchy either fell flat or were completely undone by the movie’s end, which is why i found it very funny that some people thought this movie was TOO feminist when i thought it was, frankly, toothlessly feminist.
the sets and costumes were beautiful, the acting was genuinely solid, i liked a lot of the referential pastiche-y moments that cropped up throughout it and i laughed lots at its cleverness because it WAS very witty, but when the credits began to roll i did think, um. maybe we’re in hell. i’m sure some people loved this movie, but sadly i really could not! also mattel now has a Toy cinematic universe planned which is um… great! and doesn’t make me feel a horrible sense of despair or anything

If you want to know when a new Rewind drops, join the tag list, and check out previous Rewinds!
fics below the cut (listed in alphabetical order by title)
Flyboy, Jake Seresin, @kryptonitejelly This friends to lovers fic is just *chef’s kiss*. Jake is just so swoon worthy in this fic that everytime I reread it, I get just a little bit upset that he’s not real.
From The Ashes, Jake Seresin x Natasha Trace, @myshipsaresunk This Hannix rock star au will put you through the emotional ringer but it will be so worth it! I was lucky enough to beta read this one as it was being written and the endings of some of the chapters had me literally shouting at my computer screen due to some of the characters’ life choices.
Je te Laisserai Des Mots, Bradley Bradshaw, @jupitercomet This is an arranged marriage au but it’s also what I would call a period piece au. The writer says she was heavily inspired by Greta Gerwig’s Little Women but it also gives off some regency era vibes as well. Whatever era it’s supposed to be, this fic is another one that I wish never ended because I would love to stay in the world forever.
Mamma Mia, Bob Floyd/Jake Seresin/Bradley Bradshaw, @perpetuelledaydreaming Take the plot of Mamma Mia, set it in the world of Top Gun, and you have this absolutely amazing fic! And I love how it’s tied into TGM by having the reader run into all three of them again when they’re back at Top Gun for the special detachment.
My Girl, Jake Seresin, @ereardon This fic just hits all of the right spots for me when it comes to the single dad trope. And it’s also one of those fics that I wish just never ended because I just adore this little family.
Oh, Baby, Jake Seresin, @seresinhangmanjake This is the first in a super sweet series and the emotions that come through this one had me tearing up a few times the first time I read it.
Sugar and Spice, Jake Seresin, @wombtotombx This is a fantastic fic and the way SB describes things makes you feel like you’re right there in the fic with the characters. And with how knowledgeable she is when it comes to all things Navy, there are a ton of little things in this fic that just give it that extra touch. She also has a really fantastic dad!Jake series that I highly recommend!
That's a Problem?, Bradley Bradshaw, @archivallyfound09 Another super sweet fic that does the single parent trope well! Bug and his love of his ‘Ooster and Dino snacks will absolutely melt your heart!
the echo (or the answer), Jake Seresin, @anniesocsandgeneralstore I still can’t believe that I almost skipped over this werewolf au when if first showed up on my dash but I am so glad I decided to give it a go. It quickly became one of my favorites and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read it.
The Princess and The Pilot, Jake Seresin, @perfectprettypisces I am a sucker for a good ‘dating the admiral’s daughter’ fic, especially when said daughter is the only girl with over protective brothers and this one ticks both of those boxes! And the sibling dynamics in this are top notch and very believable!
Creator's Own I Heard From The Heavens, Bradley Bradshaw Not only was this the very first Top Gun fic I ever wrote, but it was the first fic I had written in six years when I posted it last year. It’s also very personal to me. One of my younger brothers is a fighter pilot in the Air Force and while I am incredibly proud of him, I still can’t help but worry about him as an older sister is wont to do so this fic was me channeling those worries and fears I sometimes have in regards to my brother.
Tag list and friends: @petcr3 @desert-fern @Sagittarius-Lovewitch @mygyn @sweetwhispersofchaos @horseshoegirl @the-annoying-fan @dingochef @moon42flight @thecitysgraveyard @ereardon @roosterforme @cherrycola27 @galaxy-of-stories @taytaylala12 @malindacath @violyn20 @awildewit @potato-girl99981 @shanimallina87 @blue-aconite @djs8891 @linkpk88 @furiousladyking @daggerspare-standingby @princess76179 @jstarr86 @hecate-steps-on-me @darkheartcherry @soulmates8 @roosters-girl @dempy @roosterisdaddy36 @hangmanscoming @s-u-t @mavrellover91 @chicomonks @averyhotchner

Okay, so for some reason when I started reading your post about octavia and Fizz being opposite but similar 'n' all, I instantly thought about Blitzø and Fizz adopting her, and quickly scrolling down it appeared that it was ALSO the point you were getting at!
And, like, gay dads adopts late-teenage girls from unknowing, bad, families, is a Trope that sound awesome.
And then you got one of those girls becoming hitman while the other becomes librarian/writer or something, and they're besties and spend lots of time together excepted when one got a contract or the other has a tense moment with her publisher or something, but sometime having a hitman bestie is quite useful, and sometime having a decent writer that looks like an ordinary person too.
And you got big sister hitman always here to help, with little sister writer/librarian always here to listen.
And two sad dads that could not believe their girls will end up their lives with another girl. (I don't know enough of octavia to ship her, so I make her aro, but not ace.)
I’ve created this semi dysfunctional half goth half clown family in my head and now I’m so attached to them I can’t undo what is done.
Gay clown dads with unresolved “something” between them adopt sardonic goth girls who have a friendship? Sign me up.
Octavia is sooo writer-coded, she has so many opinions, and I also love the idea that she does digital art on her tablet. If you ever annoy her she draws you really ugly and posts it on her blog, then if you try take it down she threatens to sue and serve you with a subpoena, cites her right to artistic expression (guess where she learned that from)
Via having tension with her publisher could be such an interesting avenue, it reminds me of the scenes in Little Women between Jo and the book publisher Mr Dashwood. Her book is only released on the condition that it end in the main character having a romance, because it was seen as improper for her to be a “spinster” —- it’s misogyny but also, something else called amatonormativity
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This way of thinking values romantic, monogamous pairings above all else, and elevates sexual relationships as higher in value than platonic ones when this is rarely the case. It makes people feel they have to endure even toxic relationships just for the ‘normalcy’ of having a monogamous nuclear family. It also encourages attitudes of running off with some romantic interest and leaving platonic relationships behind. Since to some, romance and sexual relationships can save you from your troubles and is the ultimate goal.
Sound familiar?
It’s because this is the crutch of what happened to Stolas, the attitude of what made him maintain the lie, force the toxic relationship to stay together, and seek out sexuality as a way to escape it all. Because he thinks it’s the answer to his unhappiness.
Funny enough actually, Frozen is one of the most famous animated films to criticise this idea and stomp it out. Anna realises her love for her own flesh and blood Elsa is worth much more to her than any romance either with Hans or Kristoff. And this is incidentally where they based much of the Goetia themes (allegedly) especially with Andre being a walking Frozen reference…
Soooo yeah Octavia is now a massive Greta Gerwig stan because I said so, her favourite actresses are Winona Ryder and Fiona Shaw, she is scathingly critical of amatonormativity. Fizz had told her about the Barbie movie and how it “changed” his entire worldview and is deeply personal to him for some reason that he won’t say. Something to do with the dolls theme. She didn’t believe it at first, and was repulsed by saturated feminine colours, but then it awakened something in her as well. Feminism, and more critique of romance obsession.
She is someone who is now valuing friendship honesty, consent, and trust above all else. She and Loona are finally exploring social events together. Making friends. At a party she’s the one she goes to when she’d like to get home, and Loona always does even if she’s having fun.
I don’t want to imply that she became aromantic because of the trauma, so maybe she has always been on the aroace spectrum, which was why she could see through the rose coloured glasses from the start. She doesnt centre her life goals and self esteem on any type of love or male approval anymore, and it would take a significant amount of trust and mutual independence between her and a partner before she’d enter that type of relationship. She might not ever want to marry, and I don’t blame her.
Also she’s a lesbian because. I say so. This show has no lesbians yet and if she’s basically Janis from Mean Girls, that makes her gay. Don’t tell anyone but she has a massive celebrity crush on Glitz from the Twin Glam sisters and can you blame her. Fizz isn’t very happy about that poster in her room but he doesn’t comment.
To be fair I don’t think it was a surprise to anyone that she likes women it was a kindve “that’s great sweetie do you want pancakes or sliders for breakfast?”
Tumblr media
So so so cute 🥺 and who knows, maybe there are times where Loona and Via break stereotypes and it’s Via who keeps Loona protected as the “muscle” while Loona becomes more interested in education
Text exchange:
Loona: it’s kinda funny how nobody expects you to be the muscle of the two of us.
Via: well, you know the most powerful muscle is the brain. And I make sure to exercise mine daily.
Loona: “The most powerful muscle is the brain” 🤓
Via: HEY! Well it’s true!!

So here's my thing about the Barbie discourse:
Almost nothing that holds such an iconic place in society is one thing. So much of this discourse comes from this, imo, immature very black and white internet space. It's either good or bad. But like most things, Barbie is both.
Everything critics have said about Barbie being a cultural icon of the patriarchy is true. Barbie's size has long been critiqued and also studied and it has done real damage to real people. This is all true and not to be made light of
Studies upon studies upon studies have also shown that dolls and prominent cultural figures engaging in traditionally male dominated fields increases the participation of young girls. So Barbies such as Astronaut Barbie increase girls' participation in STEM. There is empowerment even without Greta Gerwig's film.
Barbie is the pretty pink, Barbie is the tiny and physically impossible body, Barbie is the permanent high heels. Barbie is also the astronaut and the doctor. She is both the bimbo and the message that girls, too, can be smart.
And I think the most interesting critique of Barbie as a brand, a character, and eventually a film when it comes out, is (will be) how these work together and play off each other. From what I've gathered from what Greta has said, her intention with this film uses this duality to validate the "you can do anything" and point out that all of those unfair and unhealthy expectations come from her being a literal doll. I think that's going to be interesting! I think it's interesting how in the current reality of the brand and the character, this duality plays off itself in a feedback loop. We have to be submissive and docile and pretty and inhumanely shaped, but we also need to be smart and capable and powerful, but not too much that we're not idealized.
I get so exhausted with the overly slimplistic dichotomy on both sides of this debate cause the reality is VERY CLEARLY in the middle. And also it drives me crazy cause I don't think anyone involved in making this movie has given any intention of ignoring that reality. Even the trailer highlights it in the forefront. The story is literally about how the fantasy Barbie sells is a lie, from what I can tell. Anyway... Point being: Barbie good or bad is a stupid argument because the answer is both. Which means that this movie is both. because it's also Barbie. But ain't that like the internet to oversimplify in extreme avoidance of nuance?
yes!! this is well said: barbie represents A LOT in our society* and having conversations about it takes time and effort. there are countless studies about what you've described here - toys' affect on children's self-esteem - and it's valuable to consider it all when we're criticizing.
i also want to elevate what you said in your last paragraph: And also it drives me crazy cause I don't think anyone involved in making this movie has given any intention of ignoring that reality.
so glad you said that! and this is probably what one of my anons meant about waiting 'til the film comes out. i am excited for the film! it will not score straight A's on my personal feminist report card because, well, i think my personal ideology is more extreme than what mattel would sign up for lmao. but i still want to see what greta created and i'm fascinated by what margot said about how barbie would interpret being objectified in the real world.
like, the film is going to give us A LOT to chew on in regards to girlhood, womanhood, objectification, etc. - how could it not? barbie is a kid's toy, a literal object! it's exciting that a major blockbuster will tackle these issues, even though i know it will be lacking in others.
(*since i am a swiftie blog, we can also discuss how taylor occupies a similar, and worse, space because barbie is a literal product but taylor is a human being)

i have this thing of getting jealous of actors like timmy for tom's behalf. even though, i am sure tom is perfectly fine. but timmy gets to hang out with big time directors like martin Scorsese, Greta gerwig, Denis and he worked with christorpher nolan in interstellar he hangs out with leo DiCaprio so he has all of these big connections, some of the biggest in Hollywood, i wanna see tom excel like that as well u know what i mean ! is that wrong?
Tumblr media
I'll be honest, I'm not sure if you're being serious w/this ask, or if this is just trolling Anon....
But just in case your ask is actually genuine, I'll answer your ask in a serious and genuine way.
First off, I don't think you need to feel "jealous" of other actors on Tom's account, especially since he's not feeling that way himself. 🤷🏾‍♀️
Do we want Tom to continue to work with great actors, directors, and other awesome creatives in Hollywood?? OF COURSE we do! 😃 Tom has already accomplished so much at such a young age imo. He's worked with Ron Howard, Akiva Goldsman, Robert Downey Jr, Naomi Watts, The Russo Brothers, etc.
Tom has worked with "big time" directors also! He's about to work (unless things change) with Paul King who will be directing him in the Fred Astaire biopic in fact.
Maybe Tom doesn't WANT to hang with Leo!??🥴 Tom just works, minds his business, spends time with his gf Zendaya, and his family and friends who he's known for years. Every once in a while, he'll hang with some people in Hollywood who he knows or has worked with, but he's usually just chilling in his down time lol. 😅
Does Tom have to do everything that Timmy does?? No offense, but that would be weird to me lol. 😅 I think fans need to stop trying to make Tom a Timmy clone, and just respect the fact that they are two different people, with different interests, hobbies, goals, aspirations, and lifestyles.🤷🏾‍♀️
Imo, Tom is already successful. Did it ever occur to you that maybe some Timmy fans sometimes wish Timmy had the huge success of Marvel films like Tom does? Or, that Timmy were a box-office smash like Tom is? Or that Timmy got to work with such an array of awesome actors in the Marvel family like Tom has? I mean, maybe some of Timmy's fans are "jealous" of Tom and his success too! I say all of this to say, I don't see the point in needing to feel jealous of other actors on Tom's account. Tom is chilling, loving and enjoying his life, and he looks the BEST he's ever looked ever since taking some time OFF of acting (if you ask me lol 👀).
We as fans of Tom all want the best for him... So yea, maybe one day it would be nice to see Tom working with Scorsese, or Christopher Nolan (Love him!), or some other actors who we admire.... But to make it seem like Tom has never worked with "big names" in the industry is just really mind-boggling to me. 🥴 I honestly don't know how fans can sit there and say this (or imply this) with a straight face.

Sooo is netflix starting a tradition of Christmas Existential Satire Movies or something?
Last year we had Don’t Look Up. Which was super heavy-handed, but had enough moments of joy, horror, humor, and clarity to rescue it from being absolute preachy cheese.
This year, we got White Noise.
Based on a 1985 absurdist satiric novel that was considered unfilmable, White Noise is in your face, but subtle about it. It forces you to engage in good faith with the material (instead of writing it off because it’s weird), and actively make connections throughout the viewing. It stars Adam Driver as a professor and husband who is by turns insecure and confident, and Greta Gerwig as his wife who has a secret that threatens to rip apart the family’s collective delusions (not an Adam Driver fan, but this role very much suited him). Don Cheadle is there too, with an alarmingly (and hilariously) enthusiastic and sincere character (this man deserves material more complex than MCU, because WOW).
The main theme of White Noise is death. Specifically, Western society’s paradoxical relationship with it - we’re phobic of death, but also death-seeking. The film ties so many issues with Western culture back to this theme: consumerism, misinformation, admiration of celebrities and demagogues (Hitler and Elvis both feature as topics), willful ignorance and delusion, fascination with manmade disasters, violence, addiction, but most of all -
That we cannot escape these problems because of the underlying paradox of our relationship with death.
The film doesn’t leave us with any answers to these problems, but forces us to examine our own fear and fascination with death, and how it acts in our lives and society. We’re laughing throughout the film, but we’re laughing at ourselves.
Just the stuff to ring in the new year, huh?

Almost every American has thought about the prospect of a second Civil War. Considering the man hiding pipe bombs around DC last election year, it becomes clear why this would come to mind. Which is why this election season is the perfect opportunity to release a movie about a modern civil war written by an Englishman who quite apparently doesn't know anything about American culture, politics, or small unit tactics.
Alex Garland's Civil War is a movie about the fall of democracy as the US is shattered by a violent military conflict as its fascist President violates the constitution in order to retain power, but it actually wants to be a movie about a cozy witch in a small German village in the alps. Ok not really. This is a movie that promises to be about political violence in America but is really about War Journalism. It tries to do both and does none of them well. But first and foremost it's a showcase of regrettable AR furniture and trite culture war references.
After January 6th, 2021, I was discussing the Capitol riots with some right-voting blue-collar workers, and the most memorable takeaway from that conversation was being told "it was our turn." This one sentence told me everything about American cultural rage that this film completely misunderstands.
Every now and then I come across a film that's very good from a visual and structural standpoint but completely falls apart thematically. This is Civil War. Alex Garland knows how to make movies, and this is a solid film that knows how to position needle drops and position the camera to really Say Something About America. Except it doesn't do that last thing.
Politically, this is a film you could make if you fed the AI bot that writes Nancy Pelosi's campaign donation emails ten thousand hours of January Sixth footage and asked it to write an article for The New Republic. Close readings reveal that this is a film about Covid, particularly journalism, but Garland shoehorns the story he wants to tell about journo ethics Cloverfield-style into a much more complicated narrative. It's simply intellectual laziness to make a movie about a morally and politically complicated war and then handwave it away with a simple "it doesn't matter." You're releasing this on an election year! This is a movie that needs a spine! How does Micheal Bay have a more biting criticism of American presidential candidates in his movies than you do?
The movie isn't politically neutral necessarily. Nick Offerman looks exactly like a certain 45th president of the United States (he even dissolves the FBI). There's a proud boy/boogaloo boy militia committing war crimes. One of the main battles we see is fought in Charlottesville, a city that saw little fighting during the actual Civil War but is infamous for the 2017 murder of a counterprotestor at a confederate statue rally. And let us not forget the film's much-quoted "what kind of American are you?" segment so prominently displayed in the trailers. The movie displays the prototypical NPR host handwringing, and this level of political commentary only serves to make the film feel even more out of touch, made all the more lukewarm at the film's halfhearted play at neutrality in the pursuit of something that #makesyouthink.
The film is like Apocalypse Now! if Coppola really wanted to shoehorn in a thematically irrelevant main plot and never answer any of the questions raised by the much more interesting events that make up the movie's backdrop. It's like Children of Men if the director didn't really care about the atrocities his characters were witnessing as much as he just wanted to make a roadtrip movie. It's not bad, it's lazy, and this makes me angrier.
This is a movie that reminded me about Greta Gerwig's Barbie. A very well shot film with a solid director, great cinematography, and no idea what its message is. Except Garland didn't have a feel good montage at the end to save the movie for him. Just underwhelming combat. The only thing this film got remotely right about a modern American Civil War 2 is the fact that the Ford Excursion is the perfect vehicle to take into a war zone.
No matter how gorgeous the cinematography, don't let this movie fool you.
The White House isn't so cartoonishly simple to storm. Attack Helicopters would not be performing air support roles that close to buildings. M4 pattern rifles have a much sharper report. An abandoned JC Penny doesn't mean that America has fallen, it just reminds you that the Shopping Mall was never a sustainable business practice. The sniper scene is really good, I'll admit, but also not how any of this works.
This movie lacks the spine and the conviction to say anything real about the American Condition in any meaningful way other than "they own guns and experience cultural polarization," a take much too bland to be worth the price of tickets + popcorn.

BARBIE REVIEW
Tumblr media
The multi-generational toy line has finally gotten a theatrical release live-action adaptation. Written and directed by the multiple Oscar-nominated director, Greta Gerwig, "Barbie" is not exactly what everyone had in mind for the kid-friendly property.
Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling play the literal stereotypical Barbie and Ken living in Barbieland. Everything is perfect according to Stereotypical Barbie; all Barbies and Kens get along, the days are sunny at the beach and the nights are upbeat dance parties. After the perfection of her day goes away, Barbie starts questioning her purpose and existence, realizing the only way to find the answers she's looking for is by traveling to the real world.
Tumblr media
At the very root of it, "Barbie" is a "fish-out-of-water" story similar to other family movies like "Sonic the Hedgehog" and "The Smurfs". The fictional characters must leave their bright and colorful world to travel to the downer and depressing real world. The biggest improvement "Barbie" makes over other films of its type is the story circles back around to returning to Barbieland. The real world is more of a pit stop to receive information and characters that will forever change Barbie's home world.
Tumblr media
Greta Gerwig's adaptation of "Barbie" is the most intellectual and entertaining version a Barbie movie could ever achieve. The film starts out like a standard live-action Barbie movie but then dives deeper into the positive and negative impact the Barbie brand has had on womanhood. Especially in the second half where gender stereotypes are satirized, the movie goes above and beyond delivering a genuinely clever and entertaining movie where women truly get to shine.
Unlike other movies like "Captain Marvel" and "Wonder Woman", the themes of female power are showcase not exclusively through strength and perfection. Margot Robbie's Barbie becomes more relatable as she struggles with the expectations of perfection forced upon her. While a female viewer or critic would have a more definitive opinion on how "Barbie" tackled these themes of womanhood, even as a man the positive inspiration of "Barbie" is apparent.
Tumblr media
The biggest issue "Barbie" has is the size of the role Will Ferrell has as the President of Mattel. Comparing his role to other performances of his, Ferrell's role here should have been limited to having the level of screen time he had in "The LEGO Movie". Instead, the President of Mattel is the tertiary lead as his subplot is constantly cut back to. Decreasing the size of this role would either decrease the runtime to make the pacing better or give more time to develop the second act plot-turn.
"Barbie" had no right to be as good as it turned out. There is so much thought and creativity that really makes the movie unique and memorable. While "Barbie" is unapologetically a movie aimed at women, it's not a movie "only for women". Universally, "Barbie" is very entertaining and a lot of fun with plenty of surprises to enjoy.

I saw something on Twitter about Timmy and Saoirse playing lovers in another Greta Gerwig movie, filming starting in July.
I think I've seen the tweet you're referring and here is the answer from the same account.
Tumblr media
And I won't say anything about young people and "manifesting" and how young people are as dangerous as old people with the internet because I'm a mature adult 🙃🧘🏻‍♀️
Oh it's was April Fool maybe. Not that we don't see similar tweets any other day of the year.
But essentially, I'm not against the idea. I was actually thinking about Saoirse when I read the other message about Zendaya. And the association Greta x Timothée x Saoirse has made one movie I dislike with passion and one movie I love very much so I'll be curious to see in which category the next will be 👀

Hello BMT ! You seem to be a huge movie fan so i was wondering : what upcoming movies are you really excited about ? What recent movies would you recommend ?
I am starting to be interested in movies but most of those I recently watched were quite old so i was not able to really participate in "active" discussions about them. I thought recent movies could be the answer to my desire to be able to engage with people but i must admit idk where to start...
Have a nice day !
Hi anon! To be honest, I'm not really excited about any upcoming films, with a few exceptions, such as Once Upon A Time in Hong Kong which will mark the reunion of Infernal Affairs duo Tony Leung and Andrew Lau, Ruben Ostlund's Triangle of Sadness which brough the director another Palme d'Or at Cannes this year, Park Chan Wook's Decision to Leave, Greta Gerwig's Barbie, maybe Elvis to see what Baz Luhrmann did and One Fine Morning just because I'm a fan of everything Mia Hansen-Love does. I don't know how much this helps you because I don't know your taste in films.
But I do want to say one thing and that is, you don't have to engage with people just to be able to enjoy movies. Not everything has to be discussed and not everything that is discussed should be contemporary cinema. Sometimes it's enough to watch whatever you want, be it from 2022, or 1952 and then read all about it. It can be enough sometimes. Don't give up or select new films just because it would be the only way to have a conversation. Who knows, you might find people who are into different cinema eras or directors. The history of cinema is so rich and you can find amazing films that perhaps wouldn't be made today.

2023 Movies You Need to Watch (Part Two)
Hi there, I’m sorry that I lied, I’m back now and everything is okay! I will be posting a review of Percy Jackson this Friday, but today we are going to finish this and get back on schedule.
Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning (Released July 12th)
Tumblr media
(Credit: Amazon)
Starring: Tom Cruise, Haley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg
Director: Christopher McQuarrie
I have loved the Mission Impossible series since the beginning, and this is no exception. Tom Cruise still has it as Ethan Hunt. This movie plays around with the real threat of AI, which scared President Biden. This movie is the perfect way to showcase just how terrifying AI can be, while also being a fun action packed movie.
Tumblr media
(Credit: IMDb)
This movie will leave you gripping on your arm rest as you watch the intense thriller portions. While I may not be a fan of Haley Atwell’s character (and she is in here a lot), I can overlook that for more Benji (love him) and the other characters. I cannot wait for the sequel to come out, but until then, I’ll be patiently waiting.
Barbie (Released July 21st)
Tumblr media
(Credit: Microsoft)
Starring: Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon
Director: Greta Gerwig
Now, onto the powerhouses of the summer. First, I want to talk about Barbie, which I watched second after Oppenheimer. Barbie was an amazing movie! I loved everything about it. From the perfect Barbie and Ken castings to the story of Barbie learning about the real world was something I didn't know I needed.
Tumblr media
(Credit: Deadline)
I have been a woman studies student for a while, and this movie literally answers everything that we discuss in our classes. I remember taking my boyfriend to watch this during the iMAX rerelease, and he cried during the montage part, and he squeezed my hand. He loves the movie, I love the movie, it’s great.
Oppenheimer (Released July 21st)
Tumblr media
(Credit: IMDb)
Starring: Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr.
Director: Christopher Nolan
Oh, Oppenheimer. What a powerhouse. Fun fact, I did a History research project on Oppenheimer with two other classmates. We won our county’s competition. My portion was on the aftermath of the bombings, which included the Strauss’ hearings and the security clearance meetings. This movie was a masterpiece, visually, musically, every aspect was created with such care.
Tumblr media
(Credit: The Lantern)
And to everyone who thinks this movie is pro bomb, rewatch it. I promise you it is not. If you rewatch it and still come to that conclusion, I don’t know how much else to tell you than...you're dumb, I don’t know. Another fun fact, the first time I watched this, a guy gave me COVID.
Blue Beetle (Released August 18th)
Tumblr media
(Credit: IMDb)
Starring: Xolo Maridueña, Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Elpidia Carrillo
Director: Angel Manuel Soto
Blue Beetle, the beginning of the James Gunn led DC Universe. Honestly, this is a great one to start on. Sure, it is a little predictable with the plot, what really sells it is Jaime (Xolo Maridueña) and his relationship with his family. This movie would not be what it is if it were not for the supporting casts’ relationship with Maridueña.
Tumblr media
(Credit: The Washington Post)
Maridueña also excels in this role as Jaime. I haven’t watched Cobra Kai, which is what he is known for, but I am completely sold on him just from this performance alone. He becomes the hero that not only his family needs, but the DC universe. I am disappointed it didn’t do as well as it deserved, so if you haven’t watched it yet, WATCH IT!
Five Nights at Freddy’s (Released October 27th)
Tumblr media
(Credit: Wikipedia)
Starting: Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Mary Stuart
Director: Emma Tammi
Oh my gods, Five Nights at Freddy’s. I have loved the series since its release in 2014, which is where I was introduced to Markiplier. So, since I was a big fan of the game, I have been waiting for an adaptation forever. Honestly though, I was concerned as to how they were going to do it, since there wasn’t really a cinematic story when it came to the first game. I mean, the first Game Theory video on Five Nights at Freddy, MatPat linked it to a real Chuck E Cheese Massacre. What they came up with was not what I was expecting in the best way possible.
Tumblr media
(Credit: AP News)
This was a crazy ass movie, and it needed to be. Also, love that Living Tombstones had their song in the credits, I still listen to that song to this day. Along with that, Josh Hutcherson is amazing in this movie, carrying it, and my favorite, Matthew Lillard, steals the show. One critique I must say is that I wish they didn’t share that he was Purple Guy, honestly. Seeing the reveal would have been incredible, and with him saying his iconic line, it was a masterpiece.
The Boy and the Heron (Released December 8th)
Tumblr media
(Credit: IMDb)
Starting: Luca Padovan, Robert Pattinson, Karen Fukuhara, Gemma Chan
Director: Hayao Miyazaki
The Boy and the Heron is one of, if not, the best animated film of the year. I love it so much, and hope to one day watch the sub version. This is an amazing story that shows the journey of a boy going through life in the wake of his mother’s passing. He ventures into a mysterious realm to save his stepmother. I love Miyazaki films, and this is no exception.
Tumblr media
(Credit: IGN)
He brings it in this film, especially casting Robert Pattinson as the titular Heron for the English dub. If nobody told me that it was Pattinson, I would not be able to tell. This movie relies on many different characters and the way they interact with the titular Boy, Mahito. It is honestly a joy to watch, and while it is a little jarring to hear some familiar voices in there, it doesn’t take you out of the movie.
Okay, I have some more movies, but we will do a quick Honorable Mention thing.
Honorable Mention Quick Round
Leave the World Behind
This Netflix movie is a must watch for those who are reliant on technology. This movie shows just what might happen when America falls victim to a cyberattack.
Fast X
This series never ceases to catch my attention. While this installment might be weaker than ones before it, I believe it is still an entertaining movie that will keep you entertained.
The Marvels
The latest movie in the MCU was a fun, action packed film. Iman Vallani is a standout in this movie, carrying it on her shoulders. It was also nice to see Zawe Ashton, Tom Hiddleston’s fiancee, in a role.
Air
This movie based on the Air Jordan shoes is an interesting movie that showed the legacy of the shoe that became one of the best selling shoes in the world. I would give this another watch on a rainy day.
Quiz Lady
This straight to Hulu movie brings Awkwafina and Sandra Oh as sisters trying to get their dog back by going on a quiz show. This is a cute movie, which especially shows just how far siblings are willing to go for one another.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
Indiana Jones’ latest adventure was an action filled, well, adventure. I really enjoyed it, but this movie also suffered from an unlikeable sidekick in the form of Phoebe Waller-Bridges character.
The Iron Claw
A heartbreaking movie that I had known nothing about going in, and I was devastated by the end, crying until I had no more tears to give. Also, Zac Efron is unrecognizable in the role as Kevin Von Erich. Best role he has ever done, in my opinion.
Well, thanks for reading! I’m sorry it took me so long to get this out, but I am back now and I will make sure to meet my deadlines this time. This Friday is Percy Jackson and for the time being, I will be doing Wednesday and Friday releases, and it will literally be whatever I feel like writing about.

'When we told people we were writing a sci-fi novel together during lockdown, they’d ask us what it was about. A reasonable question, but very hard to answer. “A love letter to genre fiction” felt insufficient, and “a military spy adventure mystery horror sci-fi queer romance thriller” too much. But now, in this glorious summer of Barbenheimer, a time of proliferating memes and T-shirts printed with hot-pink mushroom clouds, we usually answer the question with “It’s Barbie meets Oppenheimer”.
Set in 2010 in a universe just one perilous step from our own, Prophet was intended to be as comedic and subversive as Barbie and as darkly philosophical as Oppenheimer – and it also has scenes set in nuclear test towns in the Nevada desert overrun with animate plastic dolls. But the deepest connection between Prophet, Barbie and Oppenheimer is that all, in different ways, are shaped by nostalgia. Greta Gerwig’s film playfully interrogates the candy-lit utopia of a consumerist childhood, and Christopher Nolan’s complex response to the terrifying romance of the cold war nuclear desert reminds us of a time when the apocalypse was easier to comprehend because it only came in nuclear flavour.
Our subject, in Prophet, is the literal weaponisation of nostalgia. The plot is about a covert American military project that’s experimenting with a mysterious substance that causes those exposed to it to spontaneously create beloved childhood objects out of thin air – to quote Walter Benjamin, they literally “seize hold of a memory as it flashes up at a moment of danger”.
Once they create their object, they are trapped in a deadly trance clutching it, be it a doll, a teddy bear, a Scrabble set or rocking chair. This came partly from the notion of the “Valley of Lost Things”, a literary conceit discussed in Kathryn Schulz’s wonderful memoir Lost and Found that situates all the things we’ve lost in our lives in a far, inaccessible place. The idea can be found in works as various as Mary Poppins and the 1516 epic poem Orlando Furioso. But it also came from that strange, heady pang we all feel when we see a photo of something from our childhood on social media – a candy bar or a toy or the decor of a fast food restaurant. As the historian David Lowenthal maintained, we all crave evidence that the past endures in recoverable form – that some mechanism or faith will enable us not just to know it but to see and feel it.
It’s not hard to understand why nostalgia is everywhere in this era of pandemic and economic hardship. It feels as though the world is spiralling towards fascism in the midst of an accelerating environmental apocalypse, and a yearning for a lost past that seems safer and better than our present is an understandable reaction. Nostalgia flourishes in societies after wars and times of social dislocation.
In the 18th century, however, when the word nostalgia was coined by the medic Johannes Hofer (from the Greek nostos, meaning homecoming or home, and algos, meaning pain), it was to describe a military disease experienced by Swiss mercenaries on battlefields far from home; they became indifferent and haggard, heard voices and saw ghosts. Later, nostalgia was considered a vice, the consequence of not being manly enough, before shifting in the Romantic period to become a far more positive phenomenon, linked to a sense of national or cultural pride.
Today, nostalgia has become a viciously effective way to guarantee instant emotional engagement across advertising, television, movies and social media. Hollywood is so rife with it, it feels as if it’s entering a death spiral of recycled intellectual property. Following Barbie, there are Hot Wheels, Polly Pocket and Barney the Dinosaur movies all in the works. Across every sphere, late capitalism is eating itself, using nostalgia as a seasoning.
When we asked people on Twitter what single emotionally resonant object they would retrieve from their own past if they could, the responses were bewitching and often heartbreaking. Button boxes, parental jackets, grandparents’ lounge chairs, lampshades, childhood trees, pets. Some, chillingly, mentioned ex‑girlfriends. But because, as the critic Jean Starobinski explained, our longing for home increasingly shrank in the 20th century into a longing for one’s own childhood, mostly the objects were toys.
We built Prophet from nostalgic things, weaving it from tropes pulled from old spy movies: snowbound ski-chalet lairs, secret medical laboratories, shady government operatives. We gave it Bourne-style action scenes and B-movie horrors. On a different level, it’s about the legacy of trauma, dislocation and loss, all classic nostalgia triggers.
At its heart, our novel is a fable about how dangerous it is to venerate the past at the expense of the idea of a future. We’re living at a time where believing in a livable future feels increasingly difficult. The despair this belief evokes in us makes it easy to give up, stop fighting, turn to nostalgia for our refuge. As Rebecca Solnit and others have written, it takes hard work to trust that there is still uncertainty about the future. But we need that uncertainty. We need hope. We must recognise and believe that, even now, history can still be made and changed for the better by our actions.'

Swiftie Pride anon here again! 🤪
Another ship related question! What is your favorite episode for them? And why! Is it a shift in the relationship? A confession or first kiss?
xox
Swiftie Pride anon 🩷🏳️‍🌈
aahhh! I love this question! Fair warning, this post is probably going to be long and obnoxious like the last one. okay, so:
with Amy and laurie I love the scene that Greta Gerwig added where Amy speaks about marrying rich and how marriage has such a large effect on women. It adds another layer to Amy’s character arc and I think Greta was a genius for adding it.
Tumblr media
^^^this one
anyways, for jonah and amy, I love this first and the last episodes of the series, the one where they semi-break up (I believe it’s called California), the one where they impulsively kiss in the middle of a tornado (I believe it’s called tornado lol)
it seems like most byler shippers prefer the scenes from season 4 (like the van scene) and while those are cute and all, I actually think season 3 shadows the best scenes with will and mike (ie. “what if you want to find a new party” “not possible”/ “it’s not my fault you don’t like girls”)
for Jess and Rory, I obviously love a-tisket a-tasket, keg! max, and the one where she helps him study and they take deans car. I also love their first kiss at sookies wedding and the episode where they have dinner together with Emily.
With Rory and Logan, I love I jump you jump jack and everything it symbolizes to rory. It’s really the first risk she takes romantically and professionally. These two have so many cute, but short conversations throughout their time at Yale, so I don’t really have a favorite episode, but I’m in love with their little moments. But if you want specifics, this scene where he surprises her and flies back to America:
Tumblr media
Also, I thought of more ships since your last ask 🤦‍♀️ Ben and Leslie from parks and recs, I specifically love the episode where they get drunk on Halloween while dressed as buttercup and westley! And their wedding episode!
Tumblr media
Also, I love buttercup and westley!
Chris and Ann are also my favorites! And also Andy and April! And Ron and Diane! (I like low-stakes and cute relationships, so I watch a LOT of sitcoms)
Also, I love the corpse bride, but not so much as a ship if that makes sense. I adore things that are dramatic af, and this whole film is dramatic. It gives major speak now (the album and the song) vibes!
Tumblr media
Also, another pretty niche one, but lemonade mouth was my favorite movie growing up and I still list it in my top five. I love the characters and the music!!
And I also just remembered hades and Persephone, which may be one of my all-time favorite ships! I know this myth has been super sensationalized by recent media, but my interpretation always centered around finding love and hope regardless of where you are 🤍
so, I think is probably all then. Again, I apologize for taking so long answering these asks (I’ve been swamped prepping for a work project happening this weekend), but don’t hesitate to send more if you need to, I’ll do my best to get to them!! why I like this?, but Will and Elizabeth are favorites! And I finally started watching handmaid’s tale and I love June and nick, but i’m only on season 2 so if he does something shady and weird later, don’t judge me. okay, now I think I’m done. i hope you have the most wonderful weekend!!
