I know the general consensus (and mine as well) is that Gregory isn’t the one who dropped Cassie down the elevator shaft, but I started this before I knew that, I enjoy morally grey characters

What the fuck why did Gregory do that
OKAY YOU WANT AN ANSWER??? I'LL GIVE YOU A GOD DAMN ANSWER
MAJOR FNAF RUIN SPOILERS
Okay so first of all: Gregory is patient 46 which means he's been under the Mimics control before and he KNOWS how that fucker WORKS. He knows how it affects people. He knows how it tricks people. He knows how it hurts people. That is important context here.
Gregory is 12 years old and just escaped a very fucking scary situation. He just escaped the control of an animatronic that tricked him into murdering multiple people, INCLUDING one of his friends, and also tricked him into lying about his past and parents to the authorities and possibly even manipulating him into MURDERING HIS PARENTS. Gregory is fucking TRAUAMTIZED. That's a LOT for a kid to go through!!! That's a lot for ANYONE to go through!!!!! And that paired with the fact that he also escaped with someone else (Vanessa) who was ALSO under the Mimics control, and also that he and Vanessa are the most likely candidates for who created the M.X.E.S to seal the Mimic away, they probably thought that this whole nightmare was over and that the Mimic couldn't hurt them anymore, that they were finally safe after everything and could finally recover.
But then Gregory's friend gets tricked by it. She gets lured to the Pizzaplex, thinking that he's hurt, alone, and trapped. Gregory says, and there's a chance of hearing a voice line of him trying to get through the Cassie while she's there. He's trying his fucking BEST to get through to Cassie and get her out of there before it's too late, he's trying to save her before she ruins all of his work and puts everyone at risk again. He did his fucking best, but by the time she finally listened and he got through to her, in his eyes, it was too late. The M.X.E.S was shut down, and the Mimic was free.
I have the preface this next part with the fact I know damn well that Gregory could've not been the one to drop the elevator, that it's perfectly possible that Mimic did it and that I actually believe that alternative more. But if Gregory was the one to do it, I think, for the situation he was put in, it's understandable.
Gregory, having failed at saving his friend, knowing that the system he and his new family, the survivors of this things torment, put in place to keep it sealed away and prevent it from hurting anyone anymore, is now free again- knowing how the Mimic affects and infects peoples minds, how it tricks them, thinks she's too far gone. That she can't be saved. Or that if she was saved, it would be at the risk of the everyone else.
So, he drops her. He thinks he's spared her from the Mimics control, and also sealed the one way out Mimic had by destroying the elevator. And it's possible he did, we don't know how that ended exactly- but considering Roxy's line at the end calling out Cassie's name, it's possible she still survived anyway. It's possible his plan failed, it's possible she'll be infected, it's possible the Mimic will be free and that he was just too late.
But we don't know how this ends yet. We just have to wait and see
But either way- Gregory did what he thought he had to do to protect EVERYONE. He didn't want Mimic getting more victims, he didn't want his best friend being one of those victims, he couldn't have that thing be free again after trying so hard to trap it away and be done with it.
He did what he thought was necessary.
Also if anyone who doesn't know me finds this, CREATOR IS MY FRIEND!!! I'M NOT UPSET WITH HIM FOR ASKING THIS LMAO I JUST NEED TO PROTECT MY SON!!!!

This isn't really much of a question but I'm not really sure how else to phrase this. Give me all your Glitchtrap and Mimic head canon and AU ideas. I don't care how dumb or trivial you think they are. I wanna hear them. I just really love hearing people pour their hearts out about stuff they're really passionate about. Especially if it's something super niche like this.
Oh my gosh I accidently deleted the reply to this... but I have so many and this time I can do better formatting lol
Mimic:
Not entirely Glitchtrap, but kind of a mix of the Mimic program as well as Glitchtrap that has resulted in something just as violent as Glitchtrap, but not really malicious. Not saying it has any sense of morality, but more along the lines of "huh, weird, that fleshbag I just attacked isn't moving anymore. Oh well." It has a bit more of a childlike nature at times, like with the costumes.
Glitchtrap doesn't care much for having all the different characters that Mimic has come up with, as opposed to just having one alter ego, but enjoys the sadistic side of using a person or character someone cares about to lure them to their death. Finds it funny and all.
Speaking of the characters, the Mimic loves coming up with all sorts of characters and making costumes to "play pretend" with others before killing them. It doesn't have a lot to do after it got sealed away, so it spends hours drawing and making costumes.
Also, Mimic is not Burntrap. From my understanding, Burntrap and the Blob only exist within the "true ending" of SB that was effectively retconned via the comics in Ruin. The again, perhaps "the Blob and Burntrap aren't canon" is on the same level as the "Golden Freddy isn't real" video on Game Theory.
Glitchtrap:
Where do I even start with Glitchtrap? To anyone affected by the Glitchtrap virus, it can visually appear. Not entirely a hallucination, but not visible to anyone else, of course.
It can also create objects out of nowhere that only it and those infected with it can interact it. Mostly because these objects aren't actually real, and it just convinces the subconscious of the victims that it's real to the point of them being able to interact with the objects. These objects always look purple and glitchy. Kind of like a glitched game texture.
It can also pull objects out of the digital world and bring them into the real world. Such as, if Help Wanted was left open on a VR headset, it could reach into the headset and pull out a basketball, making it real. It could then take the basketball and toss it to Vanessa, who could toss it to anyone else. More likely take over Vanessa's body and then use the basketball to brutally murder someone, but you know.
Glitchtrap will also move around either with an absurd gymnastics routine or by teleporting. The teleporting is it disappearing and then reappearing wherever it wants in a cloud of the same purple glitches that appear on the objects it creates out of nowhere.
It understands morality a bit better than the Mimic, but just sort of understands the fact that morality exists, and people find murder unacceptable. But it also doesn't understand why they see it this way and will continue to make jokes about murder and torture to Vanessa and Gregory.
For how Gregory got Glitchtrapped, my headcanon was that Glitchtrap forced Vanessa to adopt him, since she was a beta tester, she would've been able to steal a copy of the game. Glitchtrap can also mess with computer systems, of course, so it was able to prevent her from getting in trouble.
It also talks very enthusiastically; random capitalized letters and an exclamation point at the end of at least every other sentence. Lots of dramatic, exaggerated motions while talking and almost never staying still.
Glitchtrap also likes using planners and calendars. Not necessarily to fully plan things out, but just because it likes hoarding both demented and childish ones. For example, the blood eagle calendar mentioned in the Special Delivery emails, but also made Vanessa get a daily planner with sparkles, rainbows, and unicorns.
Once MXES, who Gregory and Vanessa created after the 3-star ending, comes around, MXES and Glitchtrap end up have a sort of Lego Batman and Joker relationship. I say sort of, but it's exactly like that. Glitchtrap being mildly upset about being its plans being messed with, but also excited about having a worthy opponent that isn't some child (Gregory). In a "HEY! How's my FAVORITE nemesis doing?" sort of way. Meanwhile MXES very rarely talks and usually just does what it was made to do and disappears again, occasionally with a judgmental look at Glitchtrap's antics.
Glitchtrap also thinks of Vanessa as a friend, knowing but not understanding or caring that that's definitely not what friendship looks like. It sees the whole Vanny moniker as a fun nickname and will casually chat with her about anything and everything. It's also genuinely confused why she's not happy about the whole situation but doesn't particularly care.
It's also influenced by William, but not really. Maybe something of a caricature on how William saw himself, but certainly not the same. William would never be so intentionally goofy or enjoy dancing and gymnastics that much.
Glitchtrap also loves music and has questionable taste. While in the game it listened to the unused showtime file a highly questionable number of times and has given Vanessa a ton of terrible music recommendations. But at the same time enjoys watching ballets, one of the few times it'll sit still. Same with cartoons, it adores cartoon violence and absolutely takes it as suggestions.
It also is incredibly cheerful, no matter what it's doing, and will act like the most horrific things are complete normal and maybe pretend to be annoyed by people disagreeing.
I don't have a ton of AUs, but the one I'm working on, the timeline sort of got stuck in the blender and made a very weird but also fun smoothie. If that metaphor makes any sense. But the main changes are that no canon characters have died, and the timeline is far more compressed. As in, Help Wanted and SB both take place in the 90s and that technology can exist at that point in time just because sort of compressed. Cassidy also ends up playing a major role, she's the one who created the Princess Quest games in the AU. I'm also a firm believer in the "BB's Balloon World was Gregory's PQ" theory, so in the AU she ends up making that game as well. With some help from the Afton kids and Charlie, since they're her friends and already involved in the situation. Another major difference is also that William never got springlocked, adopted Vanessa to try and raise the perfect assistant and serial killer after abandoning his own kids, and then invented Glitchtrap when she turned on him. Then Henry ends up building the Pizzaplex because he was thinking of expanding anyway and it can also be used as a way to try and get Vanessa closer to the PQ games.
I also think it would be epic if MXES and Glitchtrap just got into a street fight, but that's neither here nor there.
I think that's everything I have, thank you so much for the ask, this was a lot of fun to answer!

It shouldn't have been Burntrap. Afton should have possessed Glamrock Bonnie
So I've been thinking. If the original intent of Security Breach was Afton's resurrection, then we should have gotten Afton possessing Glamrock Bonnie.
Now we know Glitchtrap and Burntrap are The Mimic. But we all thought it was Afton in the beginning. But what should've been was to tie Bonnie's disappearance into Afton's resurrection.
Inspired by this video
youtube
Glamrock Chica is influenced by her past lives, so why can’t Bonnie? So here's the evidence that could help a Afton possessed Glamrock Bonnie!
Spring Bonnie. The big one. They used Springtrap in the HW VR game and the AR game and they are in universe games, so who's to say they didn't add in their programming for Glamrock Bonnie?
In FNAFAR, Toy Bonnie is shown to be a spotlight hog with a big ego. Talking about fame, and how he’s better than everyone else. Then from the AR emails.  It’s revealed that Bonnie ate a cat. He ate a fucking cat.
In the Freddy & Friends cartoon, Bonnie is looking mischievous and shifty. Under a chill persona hiding a dark secret.
You could parallel Glamrock Freddy and Bonnie’s relationship with William and Henry. Freddy thinks he can trust Bonnie, and loves him. Bonnie is however a self centered sociopath.
If you noticed the cut content of Bonnie bowl, you’d notice the minigame has Bonnie looking fucking evil.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They have been teasing Glamrock Bonnie's fate and what's going on behind the Pizzaplex and I truly believe this should have been used to intertwine both story elements.
Fanart on what this Afton!Bonnie could look like by Bxnnie-Bowl
Tumblr media
Characterwise, Afton!Bonnie acts like he did as Spring Bonnie a friend to children hiding the monster underneath. When the monster is unleashed in the boss fight, you'd here lines like the ones in this video
youtube
For lore purposes. After the 9 victims of Vanny, she brought William back. We’d find out through various messages that Glamrock Bonnie has taken children to Bonnie Bowl and they were all never seen again. Glamrock Bonnie was the first to be infected and had William’s remnant transferred.
One day Freddy learns what Bonnie has been doing, takes Monty with him and confronts him Bonnie tries to kill Monty, thus forcing Freddy to stop him while Monty shatters Bonnie in self-defense. They hide him away in the back alleys of Bonnie Bowl and never speak again about it.
We could cut the nonsense about the Pizza Place and have the final confrontation in Bonnie Bowl. We have to play the cut Bonnie Bowl minigame because it has an upgrade that upgrades our security clearance to level 12 so Gregory can track down Vanny. Gregory gets the highest score in Bonnie Bowl and Vanny confronts us and unleashes Afton possessed Bonnie. Freddy holds Bonnie off while Gregory has to beat Princess Quest 3. Since Vanny's hideout is connected to Bonnie Bowl, we can get to it in time. During Freddy and Bonnie's fight, it causes areas of Bonnie Bowl to catch fire and said fire spreading towards the Pizzaplex. You have to beat Princess Quest 3 in 3 attempts. If you get it in one attempt. You kill Afton for good while saving Bonnie and Vanessa. If you get it in attempt 2, Freddy sacrifices himself to kill Bonnie. If you beat it in attempt 3, Bonnie shatters Freddy and is closing in on Gregory while Gregory just beats it in the nick of time. If you fail attempt 3, you get the bad ending with the last thing Gregory sees is Afton!Bonnie and Vanny with Gregory's fate left very bleak.
Regardless, after either ending 1 or 2, Vanessa comes to save the day and get Freddy, Gregory and Bonnie out of the Pizzaplex. with Vanny's mask on the floor and the last bit of the Glitchtrap code being left for HW2 to finish off for good. Or alternatively in the ending where only Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy are saved, we have Vanessa and Gregory locking Afton!Bonnie up in the bowels of the Pizza Place, sealing him away, installing the MXES program but in the shape of The Puppet thus starting the events of Ruin, only instead of The Mimic, it is Afton!Bonnie in his ruined remains we would see in Ruin just clawing his bits to kill Cassie, but when he has her in the elevator, Cassie's fate is left unknown and Afton sees the chance to replace the Vanny he lost and even better, she feels betrayed and he will give Cassie her revenge.

Hello
Stage fright any fun facts about the lad..?
How dose it feel about the employer & or other entities..?
I must learn about the mimics :)
Hoh BOY okay, there's a lot to say about that guy.
•Stage Fright isn't like other masked. He has two, actually! Comedy on his face, and Tragedy on the back of his head. His neck will periodically snap backwards and forwards to change his mood and mannerisms.
•Having two masks on one body sort of disrupted the possession process, and so instead of the masks fully taking over the host, they kinda fused into one consciousness. It's unclear whether he's more of the masks, the host, or both. He has a lot of the hosts memories and feelings, so he struggles a lot with his identity. He hates thinking about it.
•He's incredibly lonely, pretty much driven loopy by it. [On top of other things.] If he sees an employee or anyone of note, he'll immediately attempt to infect them. All he knows is that people don't run from him once they have their own masks... but then they don't seem to be much for conversation afterwards. Just show him kindness and he'll lay off of you. He doesn't much care for other entities, since they don't seem to care about talking to him either.
•His arm is like that because his host had his arm in a sling from being shot by a Nutcracker. The extra amounts of blood that the masks secrete formed his new arm!
•The hosts name was Jackson Gregory, called "Jax" by his coworkers PJ, Hester and Levy. Nobody knows where his teammates are now, Stage certainly doesn't.
•He does eventually get accepted by a new crew, and he forms a deep bond with them. He even gains some of "his" memories back! However, he still frequently struggles with who he is and is constantly plagued by hallucinations of other masks urging him to spread.

I have a rough couple of theories, that I don't think many have considered (probably for good reason), but I think are fun to toy with: Cassy is taken back to the FNAF 6 location by the Mimic, possibly to have Glitchtrap consume her just like it did Vanessa (hence the name Helptrap in the ending files; this was his plan in Ruin). This is why we open up to it being a “training orientation” simulation, when Cassy Dad would have no need for it.
The games we play are actually from 3-4 different perspectives: William Afton (Fall Fest 1970-83 which is possibly where William was inspired and possibly the Sister Location), Cassy Dad (most of the Pizzaplex Technician Levels), and Cassy/Vanessa (Pizzaplex food and beverage levels and some of the rides).
To be clear, Cassy is the protagonist of the game, but the system is showing her the memories of her father and William (and maybe Vanessa) to try and goad her deeper into the game, to infect her. This is why some monitors show glitchtrap pop up on the screen in certain mini games.
This is why Vanny (the cut voicelines) mentions that Williams code is living on in memories (the plushies) and Cassy has to trade her VANNI mask to get the Glitchtrap Plushie, after she goes to the Virtual Realm/Afterlife/FNAF World of Princess Quest, after prompting from Vanny.
What this means for Cassy being trapped in the toy machine is unknown, but Vanny seems to have usurped Glitchtrap (possibly as the Mimic program) and Cassy now knows the fate of her father (or at least suspects it; he was victim to Burntrap and his control over the STAFF bots and they disassembled him into Maskbot, which is why we can see organs and brains). More confirmation is that Cassy somewhat recognizes a Bonnie mask, but there is no reason Cassy Dad would be confused, as he is Bonnie Bro.
We also get more confirmation that Glitchtrap is connected to Moon; Moon features prominently in Fall Fest, the Foxy Log Ride, and in the Princess Quest ending, the former two being corrupted by Glitchtrap and the latter having him be the one to deliver the Glitchtrap Plushie to Vanny while also showing a Moon plushie covered in purple right behind him.
Speaking of connections, Baby is everywhere. Literally from the opening, she is watching the player from behind. In the Fazerblast section, she openly mentions that the player was foolish to think she wouldn’t find them (though this could be a William memory as it takes place in Fall Fest), and the Sister Location room has her explain how safe she feels inside this place and that she is “safe forever” here.
She is the only animatronic that seems to have recognition of the player and have a conversation with them (or Cassy specifically). Furthermore, her plushies are literally crawling all over the game, around 5 if I counted correctly. I suspect Baby or Elizabeth is living inside the Network in some capacity, as a refuge for herself. Perhaps this is a connection to Nightmares Puppet
Things I have no answers for:
What happens when all the posters and collectibles are collected
What is the purpose of the Fazcam, Fazerblaster, and Dart Gun
What is behind the Left Steel Door, under the static tvs
Candy Cadet Story (we can assume the dead family is the Aftons which is soft confirmation of dead Mrs. Afton). The second story involves; A Witch, a woman, and a boy. The witch tries to cook the woman by disguising herself as friendly but she escapes, grows older, and tries to hunt down the witch, to which a boy offers his help but betrays her by revealing his house is secretly the witch oven.
Most people assume it’s Vanessa being a surviving victim of William, growing up and thinking she can face her fears, only for Gregory to trick her and turn her into Vanny.
This doesn’t work, for obvious reasons, as Vanny was captured due to being a play tester… right?
Hmmm. We know Tape Girl was a play tester, who was purposely trying to stop Glitchtrap, but Vanessa is not Tape Girl. We don’t know why or how she became involved, beyond it being a job. It could be she had been searching for William as a personal mission, and tape girl had already converted Gregory, and the two of them tricked her into playing the game (which does lead to the question of who is Tape Girl and what happened to her).
Which has its own problems, of course, as it still doesn’t fit 1:1. Why would Vanessa and Gregory be gendered correctly, but not William?
It’s so open ended, I almost considered the possibility that Mrs Afton was an accomplice to William (hence she is the Witch who tried to deceive her with a kind voice).
And of course, none of this answers who built the Afton family replica in SB or the origin of the Tangle.
It's an interesting idea, though as the days go on I lean more and more towards Cassie's dad being the protagonist, which I'll be talking about in my next video if all goes well!

Holy SHIT but Gregory getting stuck down there, if the Mimic really does Hate Him Specifically, would probably be Even Worse Off than just starvation and dehydration and a horrific lack of rest. You know that the Mimic is probably trying to tear chunks out of our boy, and there isn’t exactly anything he can use to clean his injuries or bandage them when they happen. His body’s gonna be struggling with illness and injuries and infection on top of not getting enough resources.
Can you imagine how terrified Vanessa and Freddy would be for him? Maybe MXES would also be made to look for him and ways to get Gregory specifically out, in that case…
Also, I think. I think if the elevator dropped when Gregory was like that, it. It might actually kill him? He’s way to weakened to survive much longer, the poor kid.
in dawkos video, he mentioned the mimics signature killing style being ripping peoples heads and limbs off.. and he also says he thinks the mimic REALLY wants to kill gregory soo...
they probably dont even know hes ALIVE. he only has his walkie and it wont reach vaness and freddy no matter how much he tries. but months or weeks later he finally reaches cassie and the mimics trying to get her to deactivate the security and he cant get through to her and all he can do is hack into some bots and hope for the best.
also i love how were just coming up with a dawko theory au and not even just an au on its own. like were making stuff up from this specific dawko video and i think thats beautiful

Maybe an ending sorta like “The ring”?
Saves Gregory or eventually finds the real one but now works under Glitchtrap/spreads the Malhare everywhere
Maybe she uploads him to the internet, or the Fazbear’s mainframe.
Now that we know Fazbear Entertainment is a corporation with multiple companies , there’s a good chance.
I say it because with all the books and stuff, I doubt Gregory is out of the story?
OH MY GOD...... ANON HOLY SHIT
I fold my hands and I raise you with a couple thoughts of mine own.....
(This got REALLY long I love sharing my thuoghts thumbs up)
I personally don't fuck with the books, that's just how I roll. I know some details intertwine with the games and I hate that but at least a couple details from at least the Plex books I'm down with like the DCA being theater animatronics originally and The Mimic in general even if it's a little farfetched- but this is the second generation of FNAF where it's more technological horror for now I guess
However I fold my hands again at you, anon
If it was something like The Ring (which, thank FUCK I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS THE RING I THOUGHT PEOPLE EITHER FORGOT ABOUT IT OR DON'T KNOW IT RHGRHGRHG), that could be a possibility since for one thing, the virus was first spread in Fazbear's mainframe as of the leaked AR emails directly before SB dropped (or at least before the merchandise did, thanks Funko (derogatory)). If it were to be like that, Cassie could help with spreading it back out into that mainframe but given how it's no longer controlled, and the virus itself I'd imagine has gained some experience with being present in the animatronics for all this time, is very fucked and potent. I'm not sure about being able to upload him into the internet since I'd imagine that's a whole process of seeing if this thing can turn electricity on and off, and even more so with a router/wifi/etc so maybe it goes on like a USB
Think Rings' and Undertale's Soulless Pacifist ending somewhat- where Cassie gets to come back home wherever she came from -she definitely comes from a family and isn't homeless like Gregory is, she has small accessories and clean clothes, THE BABY'S GOT LIGHT UP SHOES FOR FUCKS SAKE /lh- and everything's fine
Until she uploads that USB to everything, infects everything and lets it go wild. All in exchange for her safety or even Gregory's/family's safety.
But I also raise you in how I'd imagine we might be getting another game after this besides Help Wanted 2 of course, so I'd imagine they'd do some cliffhanger shit anyways unless they pull a Minerva's Den and make it an enclosed story with a beginning and actual ending.
I personally am up for either two routes that could happen, either-
A, typical good ending or maybe bittersweet: Gregory's actually there at the 'Plex or it's the Mimic whatever; your choices on how you interact with the environment around you (mainly the animatronics thumbs up) decides if you get to make it out safe or if you get the bad ending. At the end of it all, you get to grab Gregory and fucking BOOK it out, maybe a final chase scene of Glitchtrap/Malhare/Mimic and maybe the other animatronics coming along to help fend him off to let Cassie and/or Gregory escape safely
Bonus if it's bittersweet because the animatronics sacrificed themselves for the safety of the kids because that's what they're supposed to do. That's what they were made to do.
Or, and my personal favorite-
B, bad ending (maybe it could be the first bad ending and the Rings' type ending is like another version of it); Cassie not doing so hot but when she finally comes face to face with the real face of it all, she ends up becoming the vessel for it (sacrificing herself for Gregory's safety to return home if he never comes back to save her or something like it). Rumors coming up about the 'Plex abuot how there's this little girl roaming around, calling out to her parents but disappears during certain times like a ghost
So, obvious bait to lure in new victims or even new vessels, new limbs.
Idk those are just my thoughts thumbs up

More stuff I did for my FNAF au
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vanessa → St. Vanhumrigh “Henry” Afton-Simmons.
Elizabeth / C.C → El1za² Afton.
Mike Schmidt → St. Micheal Aruther-Blavnkeberry
Garrett → St. Garreth Aruther-Burntenberg
Main names I have for now!
(placements!↓)
Mike (Schmidt) : Clarith
Garrett : Micheala
Abby is here, I just don't know where to put her (but I do have her full name!! : Abigail Aruther-Blavnkeberry. She and Mike are siblings by blood, while she and Garrett have a sibling bond together).
Elizabeth/C.C↓ : Michelle Marlon
C.C : Sleeping Princess(Margarita Blankenheim)
Micheal (Afton)/Vanessa (Afton) : Nemesis Sudou
Cassidy (Afton) : Allen Avadonia
William Afton : Gallerian Marlon
I changed the whole clockwork doll, to be like a puppet. El1za² has a more nutcracker appearance, due to their mouth being shaped the way it is. Eyes are forever closed due to how C.C was the sleeping prince; and never slept - never had his eyes closed.
Reason why I made Vanessa have a middle name being "Henry", is because. Well. She is gonna have the final blow, make the final move to make sure William stays dead forever. And she would also be the one to start the fire that also ends her life(not just hers tho. Mike's there too, so she also ended his life. But he wanted to stay, and be there to at least see the killer of his brother wither and decay. ,, yet the will to keep on living got to him, and he left at the last second on where he could've died. Abby is mentioned throughout this whole plan, and thru Mike's story. But Abby only makes a clear appearance when Mike is finally out of the fire. Abby then groups her friends(Cassie, Gregory, and other kid characters in FNAF; David(mimic), Tony, Eillis, etc), and they are the ones to finally have the MCIs just go the afterlife).
Abby, and Mike are both Sloth descendants, but the sloth demon went to infect C.C because he was the perfect vessel. And then, not too long ago, Mike then became the second vessel for Sloth(doesn't mean he slept, he did. But he did too much to not sleep(yet not really. He was very lazy), that it seems like he doesn't sleep at all. But Mike is strong so he fights it off when he desperately needs to sleep). But it didn't last long.
Garrett is a Gluttony descendant, as he wants to rid the world of evil(first step was to be kind to someone, he fulfilled that: becoming friends and then brothers with Mike who was ,, not treated kindly due to how different he looked. White hair, and yellow eyes. Him and Mike becoming brothers also fulfilled something in him; having siblings. He was an only child, so he wanted siblings. And he got siblings!). It's not that he's greedy, he isn't. Gluttony is very different from Greed.
William is the Greed vessel/descendant/great-grandson of Gallerian Marlon. The greedest judge ever. And William followed in his footsteps, but more extremely(killing kids, etc etc). He wanted to keep his family the tightest it can be, so he made everything and stole everything for his family. And he wanted his family and him to live forever. His most extreme greed, turned into the most greediest in the world as ever seen(Gallerian type greed but with a couple of more steps yk?). He has turned his two youngest into a puppet, which he believes is the real one.
C.C, didn't die first here. Elizabeth did, and when she did - C.C, two weeks later, was then the vessel for Sloth. He was the vessel for 2 whole years. Dying, due to himself over-dosing with a "medicine" he calls "p.s" ; The Purple Prince brought eternal sleep, to anyone who complained about the slightest bit of inconvenience to their sleep.
Casside, is the second oldest. He was a servant, while Vanhumrigh was the heir(first born, and with that she would be queen). He dies as well, leaving Vanhumrigh, the first born, to be the sole child of William. William didn't care for Casside, as far as you need to know. Casside and Vanhumrigh were twins! Casside first died on the day that William was to actually die on. But, soon afterwards William was to be very heavily injured(and very mentally unstable). — All of this, then caused Vanhumrigh to split from the Afton family(turning to use her mother's maiden name; Simmons). She went to train herself to become stronger, to one day face William.
Garreth Aruther-Burntenberg, died when he was 15; before his birthday(April, 2th).
The mask that Vanhumrigh has, is that of a crane! (I tried to remember what a crane looked like from memory)
____
That's all im saying. Still basically working on this AU. But tell me if y'all like it tbh-!

Now that I'm actually home on my computer, here's a screenshot of the newspapers you see in the opening of the game. Regarding what others have mention, I have heard the speculation that it's less an actual earthquake and more that it's the Blob doing its thing, and the earthquake is the "official" explanation put out by the company, but as far as I know, there's been no solid confirmation of that.
And just because I feel like responding to all the things at once, I agree re: the evidence for Cassie's dad being missing. Like, I saw videos of people reacting to "Dad wouldn't tell me what happened to Bonnie" with 'oh it's past tense so Dad's not around currently!' and I was just there thinking, like... or it's a discussion they had previously and it doesn't come up anymore?? Like I get speculating around it but I don't think it's really solid enough to treat it like a near-certainty.
Also I am beyond baffled by the thing about the Minis. Especially because, if they had the Vanny virus, wouldn't they be less hostile to Cassie when she was wearing the mask?? But they're not. So that one also gets a massive shrug from me.
Ohhh I see about the earthquake thing. I could be the Blob and then covered up, but surely that's like... the worst excuse you could have? An earthquake would have been felt by the surrounding area I dunno if that's gonna fly unless the whole place collapses in itself and the ground swallows it up. That would probably be felt I think. It would also feel like Fazbear Ent knows about the Blob? It's not off the table, I mean they knew about the Mimic and still kept reactivating the fucking thing so... I dunno that's an interesting one I think. Definitely a lot of room to play around with it.
However, I do find it interesting that the newspaper says the place is temporarily closed because of the earthquake. Surely, the fire would have been a better excuse? There's no way they're going back and fixing the place up now. It's abandoned now for sure. If the earthquake wasn't the last nail in the coffin, then that begs the question of, what was? Curious...
For Cassie's dad, yeah honestly? I've seen it in a few fics for a bit and it just felt like an excuse to clear the way for Roxy to adopt Cassie? Which is valid! It might not be, but honestly, it just feels like they've been looking for lore and not actually thought about it for more than two seconds. Because yeah, if she were referring to her dad in the past tense, it could mean he's missing, but like. None of the times she refers to him like that would suggest that? They all have perfectly normal explanations, there's way bigger fish to fry than that one. It's a fun concept! I'd use it if I had an idea for it! But in terms of what's canon, I don't think that's it. Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way about this one.
In terms of the Minis, the Wiki itself says that it's implied that Vanny freed them, reactivated them, and infected them with the virus but that just doesn't make sense. You're right, it should make them less hostile towards Cassie with the mask on, but it doesn't. Vanessa seems pretty confused in the one log talking about them, and if it was Vanny that did it, surely that would mean that Vanessa would at least have a vague idea of what happened? Like... she doesn't know what to do about the situation so... I dunno it just doesn't add up at all. I feel like if they had the virus, they would be chasing after Gregory more often than just in the vents too?? And how they look isn't effected by Cassie wearing the mask at all, unlike almost everyone else, so that just tells me they're not in the same situation as everyone else.
So yeah, I'm chalking all of Vanny's involvement with them entirely up to an assumption and not an implication because it's not backed up at all by literally anything but them jumpscaring the player. I'm glad it makes as much sense to other people as it does for me!

We all write the dca as loving but Ruin DLC has me knowing for a fact if any of us were to wonder into the daycare Sun would side eye us so hard it’d crush half our souls n then he’d pick up the second half, call it a smelly adult, and then drop kick us off the premises
Man could barely keep it together talking to a child, something he’s programmed for, you think he’d happily handle me? A child sized adult? No he’d let moon kill me on sight. Even if he wasn’t distressed he’d buzz around like a wasp till we were forced to leave the premises.
I do think Eclipse would be nicer about it though. Maybe talk for a few minutes to figure out why we’re there, then help accomplish it so we can leave as quickly as possible, or if unable to help would shoo us away by telling us help is on the opposite end of the plex
Oddly enough I think Moon would be the sanest of all three of them minus the virus. I get the distinct impression he’d linger menacingly in the shadows while you wondered around but would be the first to help if you asked. Like a coyote who follows you around on your walks but is so use to ppl feeding them that they’d sooner attack another coyote that got to close than they’d ever attack you.
It’s a shame he was given access to the entire ai network the way he was. If he’d stayed a worker n not been upgraded to security he’d probably be his normal self or at least wouldn’t be as infected as he is. Tho it makes me wonder if it was ever even a virus or if it was just the mimic stealing bits of their code until it went to far cuz there’s no logical reason for the mimic or Vanessa to purposely make them aggressive if the goal was to help the mimic build itself. The Pizzaplex running normally was the perfect training ground for a learning mimic n the Glamrocks would’ve helped her catch Gregory regardless of tampering due to security protocol.
However if the mimic needed to learn certain things to make it function believable as a person but were hard to find consistency in via mirroring (food enthusiasm via Chica, confidence via Roxy, genuine emotion via Monty) it’d be easiest to take it from other models that have already successfully presented results. Taking the bits that work for it n leaving the rest. Thus forcing the living code in the animatronics to adapt the best it can until it’s stable again n making it extremely unstable in the mean time until it does
I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s really how Bonnie went. A minor injury (maybe accidental, hit himself in the leg with a ball while bowling) turned to full dismemberment in the early days when the mimic was still trying to get access to the main system n tried to use a damaged Bonnie as an easy access point since he was already wired in. It would explain the scene we see on the log ride. Monty really was innocent but the extent of the damage was so severe it was hard to imagine anyone other than Monty capable. Which upset Monty, making him easier to mimic n steal code from n so on.
Anyway those are my rambling thoughts srry for misspellings I’m tired

How I think security breach should have gone.
1. The game should not have been just been 1 night, I think the game should have came out in chapters making each chapter 1 night and instead of 5 nights I think it would be interesting for it to be 10 nights, that way steel wool could focus on 1 chapter at a time to make sure that it’s perfect with no problems.
2. Vanessa and vanny should have either been separate people or have them be the same person but Vanessa isn’t aware or full under the glitchtrap virus and have her as our ally who becomes a antagonist we have to help.
3. We should have been given the choice to either destroy the animatronics or help free them from the glitchtrap virus and they help us.
4. The pizzaplex should have been darker with only small neon lights to help and limited places to go at night, it also should have focused more on flashlights and the security cameras.
5. We should have been given a much bigger range of tools or weapons to use that can help us during the game.
6. Their should have been other human characters inside the pizzaplex other then Gregory and Vanessa like other security guards and/or technicians.
7. It should have had more animated cutscenes and dialogue between characters.
8. Glitchtrap/mimic should’ve been the main focus of the game, like appearing and speaking to Gregory either taunting him or trying to trick him.
9. Their should’ve been a daytime mode where we can explore certain areas of the pizzaplex in the morning like a safe zone and when we’re ready to continue we can start the nighttime mode.
10. Their should had been kids trapped in the pizzaplex we could save before glitchtrap gets them (like vanny says in the very first trailer).
11. Their should had been other bad guy characters who were infected with the gltichtrap virus working for glitchtrap.
12. Their should had been 3 endings, a good/true ending, a bad/fake ending and a secret/mystery ending.
These are just my thoughts, let me know what you think

Security breach ruin dlc spoiler post!!
This spoilers, all the til the end.
So Monty dies, i hate that.
Chica just flumps over and is done, I hate how they massacred her.
Roxy is screwed up, but at least she's saving Cassie too.
Freddy's body was left to get messed up.
The princess quest ending is clearly canon. Proof: Freddy's body left in fazer blast, in ar mode the princess quest 3 game has a golden sword stabbing it like a stereotypical hero killing the villian with a sword to the heart and heaving there sort of thing, the fact afton himself isn't really anywhere but the mimic is instead (and we see the blob for like a second doing its own thing in the underground).
We also finally see glamrock Bonnie's body... it's pretty messed up..
HEADCANONS BELOW
Now I'm gonna explain all the things I believe happened.
Monty didn't kill Bonnie. It was either afton and vanny for parts (which would explain why in his ending he could charge using one of the station pods), the rouge staff bots, or the mimic.
That is Freddy's body, I don't care if the word prototype is on the bottom, do you really think the company actually has the koney/motive to completely recreate a shell for then if not needed? If they did they could've EASILY fixed bonnie up.
Ruin happens during Cassie's birthday.
Gregory left Cassie, but I don't think he necessarily broke the elevator, if he did it would've been from a distance or by using some bot under his control since he IS patient 46 and a hacker according the the VERY CANON books.
The mimic didn't drop the elevator and wasn't the one talking through the speakers, it literally tossed away its communicater before the chase began and LOST AN ARM, which would've still been RIGHT NEXT to Cassie when she dropped.
Vanessa/Vanny is the friend Gregory was talking about, when he says his friends name the communicator garbles, which would happen if all her other hacked things were in place still. Her ar systems are still around, so it makes sense her name wouldn't come through on fazbear tech, especially after leaving. Plus what else fazbear couldn't notice her, specifically when in aftons control? The robots and security systems.
With vanny gone afton sort of just died out in the old pizza place with no reach with his virus and the mimic prowling around.
I'm done with headcanons now... I'm just.. I'm tired of people not using their brains, like Gregory in base game didn't need to dismantle anyone, he could've left instead of gone into Freddy's chest, he could've stayed with Fred in his room til 6am after missing the final lockdown, he could've stayed with sun, or told sun freddy was waiting outside, something. But no he destroyed these hulking animatronics cause he "was in survival mode" he took their upgrade and put them in Freddy, even refusing to tell him what was going on (freddy you dense motherf--). And now with the newest book out telling us he's a killer of, at minimum, 4 people. Could he be controlled by something at that time? Sure, probably, but we don't know. He wrongfully destroyed the animatronics who didn't do anything to him except what they were told, get a runaway kid, were they infected with a killing virus? Yes. Would he have known that at the beginning? Probably not, he didn't know til LATE into the game, after breaking Chica or Monty.
Im not gonna lie, gregory is the character I hate the most in this franchise, I hate him more than I do any variant of balloon boy/girl. I'd rather play the nightmare balloon boy game for an hour than play sb base game, and nightmare bb gives me nightmares.
Also if it's been like a year since the place broke down Gregory would NOT be so close to the plex to worry about being followed "oh but his communicator!!" Yeah if we go with him having to be in range for that then he'd be close enough to break the elevator, so pick a lane and shut up.
This has been my ruin dlc commentary and gregory hate post.

I'm going to lay out evidence related to the Mimic and how Tales are canon, and to show the "true ending" has never been canon.
- The Mimic has the orange eyes of the book version, no other animatronic has them. It is not Baby. (ETA it does seem to have a potential tie to Charlie, this doesn’t mean it is Baby or all of its backstory is changed.)
- You find Glamrock Bonnie's intact body, it was not used to make "Burntrap." (This name is established to be fanon.) Further confirming it is simply the book version of this character, not a parallel.
- The Entity that chases you during Ruin is a manifestation of the M.X.E.S security system, *not* Glitchtrap, it is trying to kill you because you are trying to (unwittingly) release The Mimic/Glitchtrap. It is not trying to possess you. It's infiltrated the Pizzaplex's systems, which are controlled by the Mimic. This is why Helpi calls out its presence and attempts to get rid of it. It is not working with Glitchtrap/The Mimic.
- You find a manifestation of the sword from Princess Quest, and you find that Gregory drew all the other endings. They were a child's fantasy, including the "true ending," all except for the Princess Quest/Redemption ending. Freddy's body has no head, it's only a body, unlike in the "true ending" where he escaped intact. Gregory implies he's with Vanessa, which he was in the Redemption/Princess Quest ending. (This is probably why the redemption ending always had three stars.)
- The Mimic's arm is curled in the very distinct gesture that "Burntrap" did. You can see it on its model. There is zero reason to do this if it's not one and the same. Its feet are also near identical, and if it's taller that checks out as the Mimic can change heights.
- Agony is not a one to one possession. The Mimic was infected by Afton's agony, and being a mimicking AI took on some of his traits, it is not and has never been his spirit. This is not how Agony works. Check the wiki page. The fact that Glitchtrap appeared in a mascot suit is further confirmation they're one and the same, as The Mimic prefers to hide within those types of suits, confirmed by books and game.
“My work is focused on my hypothesis that you can take a saturation of agony, add any kind of intelligence—even an artificial one—and they will combine together to transmute the energy of emotion into the energy of physical action. “ - Phineas Taggert
‘Agony is capable of being spread like an infection, whether it be through people's suffering being put onto an object, or a literal infection that can be transferred through inflicted injury by an agony infused object.‘ - FNaF wiki
(Side note: I know the animatronics are missing parts, I think that is simply an element of the “true ending” they kept canon. You took their parts. That doesn’t mean the fire happened or Tangle grabbed “Burntrap.” You can find Chica’s voice box as a collectible in Ruin, which would suggest it’s not within Freddy. Given Tangle is intact and still in the Pizzaplex I’d say that didn’t happen. I don’t see any indication of burn marks within the sinkhole either, though I could have missed them.)

I've been thinking about Cassie and Atoli and that's never a good sign. Because. Boy do these two have some parallels!
(note- I haven't played .hack gu yet though one day I want to. I absorbed a lot of info about it as a kid, though, because i went through one hell of a .hack phase. And I haven't played ruin because it's not on the switch yet :((((( but I want to I seriously want to steel wool please-)
Anyway these two girls have some similarities that make me feel like I could bite someone. (Probably myself.)
Mostly, their relationships to their 'friends.' Atoli is 'friends' with Sakaki- and it's depressing because she met him on a forum dedicated to suicide iirc. Before he joined Moon Tree, and invited Atoli to join the world r2.
Her relationship with Sakaki- is based around manipulation. She's very loyal to him, and to Moon Tree. (He's one of the leaders of that guild.) And at first, Sakaki seems decent. In reality, he's been infected with AIDA. Then he drops the act, and infects Atoli with it too, taking advantage of her loyalty to him.
Cassie's story is pretty similar. She gets tricked by her 'friend' 'Gregory', to go further into the Pizzaplex and let out a monster. And even to (potentially) infect herself with a computer virus. Just like Atoli was. Her loyalty to Gregory is what allows the Mimic to take advantage of her. And, if she ends up coming back as Vanni!Cassie in the next game, we could even end up with something like the cutscene before Atoli's boss battle.
youtube
Because that's another of the similarities between these two. And the one that hits home for me. They're both lonely.
Atoli had friends, who abandoned her because she couldn't dress like they did. Cassie had friends. Maybe- but no one showed up at her party. Even though she had her makeup done and everything.
They both tried their best. What did it get them?
We don't know how Cassie's story will end yet. But I get the feeling it'll end like Atoli's, too. For Atoli, she needed the help of a real friend, (Even if he may not have considered himself Atoli's friend before this.) Haseo.
For Cassie, she nearly got away with Gregory's help. Until the Mimic tricks her, one last time. Into thinking that her friend tried to kill her.
I'm not sure what we'll see next. Hopefully, Cassie will be alive. Probably, she'll be the next Vanny, chasing Gregory down to try and get revenge, in her clouded mind. Convinced that he let her down, and that she only has the Mimic to believe in now.
I can't wait to see what will happen.
(Heck, they both even have references to eyes, and judgement. Atoli's avatar is Innis. The mirage of deception from IMOQ, whose stone-brick-wall body had some paintings of eyes over it. And she has her cry of "Why won't you look at 'me'?" And Cassie has issues with eyeballs- because they're gross, but also possibly because of judgemental attitudes she's dealt with. And the animatronics she's grouped with is Roxy- who can't see her anymore after Gregory took her eyes.)

May as well write up some headcanons for this au into one cohesive post to get it all out rather than continuously feeling like I'm going to explode! Below the little keep reading thinking will be head canons for Moon Sun Both and then just the au in general! But I'll make this nightmare shorter to scroll past so it's not an ungodly mass of text ^^;
Tumblr media
Au in General
Gregory hadn't managed to find Vanny or convince Freddy to come with him but had done quite a bit of damage to the pizza plex and the animatronics. So the Pizza Plex was forced to shut down for a almost two years to allow repairs and fixes to the system as well as to let news and lawsuits die down.
One very tired and under paid parts and service worker is the only reason anyone is running at all at the moment and they've slowly been fixing up other animatronics outside of the main crew.
The animatronics are all programmed to be able to learn and mimic human behavior and emotions so that they come of much more natural than their appearance in the was that they speak and acts. Giving them some form of a soul rather than cold machines.
Tumblr media
Sun & Moon
When their models were updated after the pizza plex closed for a bit they were given softer designs. Padded puffy pants and sleeves, as well as their hands are coated with a softer material over the metal that allows them to be more gentle and easily grip things without needing as much force.
Both of them were also given the capability to function during both night and day and were upgraded with safety and security protocols.
Both can only leave the daycare after hours or during and emergency.
Both of them are very good singers, With sun you would think he lived in a musical somedays. Meanwhile Moon only sings to trying and calm children down and help them sleep.
After the reboot they try only use the candies in last resort emergencies and the formula has been reworked to be less drug like.
Sun and moon are very close with one another, if one is in distress the other tends to be in a bit of distress as well. The main thing they miss about being separated is being able to full understand how each other is feeling.
Both of them worry almost excessively but it's mostly about the kids.
Tumblr media
Moondrop
Moon does not use his day mode very often if at all and takes a while to warm up to the children after the reopening.
Before he was infected with the glitch just before nap time he would play a game of catch me with the children to tire them out a bit. This is why the tunnels have holes in them and he can chase them throughout the play structures. If caught they would be placed in the nap room. Once all the children were there he'd pass out the candies and tuck them in.
Moon has a music box in his chest that plays quiet lullaby's for the kids. (I can't take credit for coming up with this one I found it through g.inbry on Tiktok their video's of sun and moon give me serotonin and sanity)
Moon has a few extra security protocols than Sun. And is a bit more protective and aware of the daycare surroundings. Often when he isn't on shift he'll survey the play area to keep an eye out for dangers that sun might miss.
Given his past he is very gentle and delicate with the kids unless they're breaking rules and refusing to listen. But even then he is much softer than he used to be.
Moon doesn't like being in the spotlight and never has but enjoys the energy the sun puts off being able to run about with the kids and be the star of their little duo.
Tumblr media
Sundrop
Literal goofy ray of sunshine. Not a single braincell left in his noggin. Sometimes it can take him a moment to catch meanings and understand things but he gets there eventually.
Can not handle serious topics and does not know how to cope with them.
Apologizes way to much and often is the one to defend Moon when past events are brought up
Constant movement. You would think he would seize up and croak if he stopped moving, sometimes he can be still when speaking with adults but when doing that his hands are often moving with his words.
