Oooh, alright, lemme request headcanons of the hashira with a reader who tells the strangest or morbid facts. Like, they don't know where reader got them from. (An example would be "An intact human body could sell around $250,000 on the black market") (sorry u didn't need to know this lol)

Obanai Iguro

Well, just a little rant of this precious little baby♡

Manga spolers

Her difference

I'm not making rules here, but she is one of the most well-written characters of the show. Literally.

Yeah, I know, I don't need argue in the comments. She doesn't have the most tragic backstory in kny. It's a fact, buut. But, her backstory is great because of how good Gotouge plays with it. In series we have a trop:

Happy family - All dead - Demon slayer Corps.

Wihtin hashiras we have 3 of them, which got through this and now have to be all alone(no family, I mean) Giyu, Muichiro and Shinobu. (There is only they 'cause, Tengen, Obanai never had a loving family, Sanemi by a start of main plot has Genya, Gyomei, Rengoku and Mitsuri have a completely different types of stories) And among this 3, Shinobu is the only one who choosed revenge.

Yup, she didn't completely forget or burry this trauma. No, on the contrary, she developed this trauma into something more. Suicidal thoughts and actions.

That's one the reasons why she's my favorite. Because, they don't say it out loud , but you can guess, her death was a suicide. I know, she didn't do it by her own, but still she prepared and led to it.

Her writing

A little girl, lost in this world, developed into the greatest hashira,boiling of rage and grief.

I adore character with facade. Honestly. So, from the very start her smile had something off to me. And when I got to the climax of her story, I knew she isn't just favorite kny character, she is my everything. The way how step by by step we get into the world of demons-hatered and self-insecurity.

While with demon-hatered everuthing clear. I want to turn your attention to the main problem of her character. Insecurity.

It's crazy how in her first fight with spider-sister she asserts that her shortness is her advantage, but deep down she always wonders why she is like that, what would happened if she might grow taller. I love the fact that this is her last moments. I mean, there already was noone to help her in this situation, and it could end here but...

Do you even relise that the reason why Shinobu stood up was not her own will, but a belief that Kanae believes in her. It's crazy, that earlier moment

Led to the most beautiful and meaningful come back.

Do we still have time? Can I continue?

Her rage. Yup, it's continuation of her writing.

It 's kinda pisses me off that mostly we completely forget this even exists

Like, there's the second reason why I even started this rant. Do I need to say more? Her anger leeding us to a fight with Douma, where she manages to turn the tables, and victory over Muzan, her helping Tamayo.

I adore the way how author from one trop gets completely different emotions. But we have to get to the last point.

Her smile

I know, it may look strange that I need whole paragraph just to say that I love it, but can you blame me?

JUST LOOK AT HER

Being so cute, loveable and gorgeous need to be a crime. Because, I would be able to kill for her.

And, just thoughts that didn't knew where to put...

1. The fact, that in Kanae's chiring up monologe, Shinobu thinks of Kanao, making her the last person she ever thought of.

2. I don't know from where people gor that Shinobu still hates Tamayo, because it literally was written in manga, that she respects her.

3. Just want you to recall her last words "Burn in Hell" , that personifies her inner world and anger towards Douma

4. Love how Shinobu and Kanao's relationships changes through chapter. Like, in the last moment Kanao shouts "Master!", and at the end she talks of her using "Sister"

5. I can't even go a day without concluding that her fanbase, at least at Tumblr is one the reason why I still see hope and joyment in this world. Want to thank every Shinobu-lover in the internet, you may be a the reason why I still breath.

Ranking of Demon Slayer Hashira

I’m ranks each Hashira base on power level and skills.

Kyojuro Rengoku. (personal favorite) His strength and skills were very impressive, this was self-taught after his father stopped training. Some may overlook how he used the intelligence from environment like demon seem impossible to defeat (one of example) or able read other emotions easily. Not mention he able hold his own and almost upper two (not mention the the same demon acknowledge his power) This was all without got demon slayer mark.

Tengen Uzui. The way he measures the demon techniques and its attack is by making sounds attack. Being a ninja does give advance to find more techniques to fight the demon. When he lost an arm he able own his own an upper ranks demon (glad anime given epic fight). Also don’t got demon slayer marks.

Muichiro Tokito. As decedent of creator of breathing style and being prodigy for skills at age 14. After his development growth and learning his backstory. After seeing how he fight and notice his full power when he get serious for able kill the upper moon on own.

Samemi Shinazugawa. After learning his backstories that given more understand his opinion about the demon. (it donesn’t excuse ) However, seeing his power and strength can be impressive. His fighting style is strong that need group of slayer to calm down to the afternoon that given ideas he doesn’t backdown for fight. (I have known certain person have same fighting spirits. Which I’m relative to.)

Mitsuri Kanroji. Her fighting style and weapon are unique. Her self-accept on her strength and being physical stronger yet very flexible. Being open cheerful and willing to fight to showcase her determine. Not mention her unique fighting style match unique weapon.

Giyu Tomioka. The saying “becareful the river since it carry powerful stream” is best way to describe him. He may act cold but when he fight is surprise good. Each of attack range into gentle stream to roughy attack. One attack he create does match his personal.

Shinobu Kocho. Even though she lacks physical strength, she make up with intelligence. This given more chills how she fighting demon that able getting demon to be more freak out on she will kills the demon. The use of include poison to kill off the demon can be effective, this cause the demon wished to get their cut off instead in their dying moments.

Obanai Iguro. His fighting style and his backstories does given more impressive. Can be helpful to attack demon or swing the swords does given unique attack. Or make look sleek and cool. Using snake base attack can give unique way to kill demon on range of attack.

Gyomei Himejima. I do respect his power, strength and backstories. Not to mention being blind slayer does given interest. Even though his fighting a bit messy and violent. The weapon is unique and does bring the powerful blow.

*Running jumps with all my love* Hashira! I hadn’t realized how much I’ve wanted to write for these guys until now! I’ve gotcha covered, friends!

Under the cut for length (Also mild spoiler warning for some of the Hashira- nothing major but I wanted to put a heads up just in case)

Water Hashira: Giyu Tomioka

My darling! I have such a soft spot for this guy! Giyu tries really hard to fight back, but ultimately he’s a lee through and through. He’s too ticklish for his own good! His worst spots are his ribs, knees and back, though anywhere you tickle him will set him off in giggles! He’s got a breathy, soft laugh that only gets loud if you go for the before mentioned spots. When tickled he kinda just curls up in a ball and gives in. As a ler he’s as soft as his voice- never putting too much pressure and bringing out the nicest sounding giggles. His go to targets are Tanjiro and friends, and sometimes Shinobu.

Insect Hashira: Shinobu Kocho

Queen. My butterfly angel. I love her so much! Shinobu doesn’t usually participate in tickle fights (in a physical sense- verbally she’ll reveal everyone’s tickle spots) but when she does she’s a vicious ler! She’s got fast fingers and team doctor knowledge, knowing just where to get her victims to earn the maximum amount of cackles. She herself is ticklish along her belly and waist. Her laugh is sweet sounding and elegant, though unlike Giyu she’ll 100% fight back if you dare try. Her favorite targets are Giyu, Mitsuri, Kanao, and Rengoku.

Flame Hashira: Kyojuro Rengoku

This man. God help you if he targets you. Rengoku makes up one half of Team Ten-Ren; he’s the tactical tickler! He has skills that come with being an older sibling with enough playful energy that he wont stop until your breathless and giggly! Terribly ticklish on his hips- if you thought his laugh was loud before, prepare yourself! He also has fairly ticklish ribs aswell- really his entire torso is a good spot to tickle! His laugh like his personality is bright and firecracker like- full of rich chuckles and howling yet musical laughter! His favorite targets are pretty much everyone- but especially Muichiro, Giyu, Sanemi and Mitsuri!

Sound Hashira: Tengen Uzui

If you thought Rengoku was bad you haven’t met Tengen- he’s a MENACE! The other half of Team Ten-Ren; Tengen is the unofficial tickle monster of the Hashira and Demon Corps! This man is on a mission to make everyone a pile of laughing goo, so if he targets you, it’s an immediate game over. He himself is ticklish on his abs, under his arms, and along his neck and ears! He has a booming laugh that’s charmingly musical and warms the soul when heard. He rarely lets himself be a lee: only his wives can willingly make him submit. If your not his wives bring Misturi or Gyomei; They’re the only ones who can take him down!

Love Hashira: Mitsuri Kanroji

Best girl. Absolute queen. I love her so much! So Mitsuri falls as a perfect switch in my book! She loves tickles, giving or receiving, and has more than once helped out during a tickle war with Tengen and Rengoku! She herself is fairly ticklish everywhere, but her waist, legs and ribs are especially ticklish! Her laugh is as pretty as she is, full of fairy like giggles and sweet singsong squeals! As a ler, she’s got big sister experience, so lots of cuddles and teases will come as she scribbles away at her target’s tickle spots!

Serpent Hashira: Iguro Obanai

Our short king! I love him so! Obanai is another one who doesn’t really participate in tickle fights (willingly- he’s a regular target of team Ten-Ren-Mitsu) He’s the type to hide just out of reach and run his fingers against the back of the taller Hashira’s (specifically Gyomei or Tengen) necks. As for himself, his back, ribs, really his entire torso is super sensitive! Depending on who’s tickling him he’ll be a squirming, flailing mess of limbs or a tight ball of defeat. He’s got a hisslike snicker and wheezy, breathless giggles!

Stone Hashira: Gyomei Himejima

Gentle giant, deserves all the love in the world and then some! The Hashira didn’t know he was ticklish at first: either because they respected him too much to try or just assumed he wouldn’t react. Naturally Tengen had to try it: Gyomei looked so down that evening and the opportunity is was too good to pass up. Upon doing so they learned the stone Hashira was actually quite sensitive along his sides and stomach, and neck. He’s got a rich, beautiful laugh that can warm any one’s cold dead heart! As a Ler, he’s incredibly gentle and sweet, never pushing anyone too far with tickles.

Mist Hashira: Muichiro Tokito

I love him- he’s absolutely precious! 🥰 You’d think being the youngest Mui would be a regular target for tickle wars, but it’s actually really hard to get him! If he’s not paying attention, he almost doesn’t feel the tickling, granting him pseudo immunity! That, and he’s ridiculously fast, making it hard to properly catch him. However, if he is paying attention and doesn’t run, he crumbles with a childlike cackle, unable to fight back at all. As a Ler, he’ll go for your worst spots immediately and leave you a wrecked pile on the floor as he makes his getaway.

Wind Hashira: Sanemi Shinazugawa

Grumpy Lee! Everyone’s favorite target. Sanemi is the type to hoot and holler that he’s “not ticklish! Try me!” Only to be instantly wrecked. He’s just too ticklish! Despite his rather intimidating appearance, he’s got a sweet, dorky laugh that only encourages those around him to carry on! His worst spots are his ribs, armpits and stomach. For as much of a lee he is, he’s a deadly Ler that will seek out his revenge to the ends of the earth! Big brother skills combined with sheer spite means Sanemi is quite the force to reckon with! (Assuming you don’t take him down first)

Demon Corps Leader: Kagaya Ubuyashiki

One of the kindest souls- Kagaya deserves the world! He gives me ticklish palms vibes- super soft ones that make him chuckle and squirm, but not enough to overwhelm him. He’s also ticklish in the usual spots- sides, belly, neck, etc. He finds soft ones incredibly soothing! As a Ler he’ll occasionally tickle the Hashira and his children if the mood strikes. Like Gyomei he’s incredibly sweet and gentle about it.
