This took a long time (and the quiz itself is long), but after so many years of observing toxic femininity on Hellsite, I'm finally able to give a name to this type of woman.
And yes, many of these questions were based on real posts on this site plus real life experience.
when I said Aya / Pony used rough speech in JP version of the original AnWL… this is what i mean. when asking what Rock’s doing here she calls him a comically rude pronoun (キサマ/貴様) that has a very shonen anime enemies/ rivals sort of feeling
this is the correct dialogue option to increase his hearts btw!! he is, as usual, unfazed & all smiles that you’re talking to him. the other option is just telling him “go home”.
arya is gaslight because wearing faces is what all the cool kids do these days, sansa is gatekeep because maybe have you ever considered arya’s needlework just had bad vibes, and dany is girlboss because she worked her way up the corporate ladder (horse girl intern to dragon ceo)
seto kaiba is so unvolutarily trans woman coded it's so insane and funny to me. she wears a turtleneck. she's a programmer. she's a gamer. she's probably very into electronic music (personal hc). this is just an egg waiting to crack To Me. She Is REAL. TO ME!!!!
so i made an emisuba playlist and a reinsuba playlist (to cover the full range of EVERY flavor of emisuba and reinsuba across the different ifs and routes) and the fact that hellfire from hunchback of notre dame is in both playlists says so much about pride if subaru
nothing but respect to the Sastiel girlies but every time they team up and hang out it feels like Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono hugging at the 1994 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame John Lennon Induction Ceremony.
Playing wargroove 2 and it’s just as fun as the first plus there’s a buff non-binary rat who was unethically experimented on so they’re obviously my favorite and there’s froggies and you can ride cats instead of horses, and there’s a lot of accessibility options which is super appreciated. Besides having multiple sliding difficulty scales, there’s also an option to reduce screen shake/flashing and vibration (a godsend for me), color blindness filters, and even monaural audio which is weirdly rare to come across. My only frustrations are that there’s a bit of wonk to it, there’s some minor typos and layout jank in the codex (which of course I continuously pore over), there’s some frequent but not overly annoying glitches when the enemy does their turn of the screen focusing on a random part of the map away from the action or pulling up menus you didn’t want to look at, and lastly I’m just bummed there’s no toggle like in fire emblem to see the maximum move/attack range of the enemy army. I saw some people complaining it would make it too easy but to me it’s just a way to save time, instead of going back and forth checking and double checking to make sure I don’t accidentally step a tile too far.
Anyway my only other comment is I’m going to kill pistil I’m going to grab her by her tail and dangle her over a pool you are my enemy you nasty vermin!!!
Remember back in 2009 when Borderlands’s macho, call of duty-esque soldier type guy was Black and no one lost their minds? Or in 2014 when the Pre-Sequel’s POV character got hit on by another woman the whole game and then canonically got together with her in the major DLC expansion and everyone was pretty much fine with it? Man, I miss those days.
i get that like 90% of bioware games fans are alienfuckers or like. otherwise prefer nonhuman species. but man i am a massive fan of bioware's human romance options
what he means: the first despicable me movie was explicitly about gru and his daughters becoming an unconventional family unit and fighting overwhelming odds AND their own fears in order to remain with each without without sacrificing anyone’s freedom and individuality as cishet nuclear family structure usually requires. Right ? Right. And then you have the sequel that uncritically considers gru being a single parent as something to fix, has gru suffering under amatonormativity, never once questioning the asssumption he should have a partner to feel complete, and by the end, that family is as close to the epitome of the hegemonic stereotype of a patriarchal family as it can get with adopted children, thanks to heterosexual marriage, yay, and that’s without even talking about the capitalistic implications in the despicable me universe -
im currently listening to all of us villains as an audiobook due to *checks note* getting sick on the bus if i actually read.
so. its interesting. i like the narrators well enough. allistair gives off blorbo vibes. i like abigail(this is isobel) a lot actually. spellcrafter with too much eyeliner catches your attention like a shiny .. idk but im a crow in this methaphor. (he does come off like a neon sign i guess)
