🔐🔐Just a little sick at the moment. My father retired from Skills Development Center at Georgia Power as a HVAC instructor. He was a lineman in Albany, GA for Georgia Power and was transferred to Plant Harllee Branch. I knew a lot of people who worked there over the years and the plant was a focal point when you drove over the bridge at Lake Sinclair. I did a lot of commercial lock work over the years at Plant Harllee Branch and the Skills Development Center. In the body, your brain is the main power plant, producing lots of energy and electricity and sending that energy through power lines called nerves, these nerves are held in place by your spine like the telephone poles that hold those power lines in place on your street to your house. Think about how you keep your lights on, you pay your power bill.

If a car hits the telephone/utility pole in front of your house we know that’s where the accident happened, however, the side effects would not be felt on the street, they would be felt in your house. Your tv, radio, microwave won’t work. In the body its the same concept, if the bones in your spine get out of position and pinch on the nerves, then out in the soft tissue and muscle is where you have your side effects. You will experience pain, tightness, radiating pain, numbness, and stiffness, etc.

Georgia Power Usage Alerts
It is a good idea to utilize the Georgia Power usage alerts. You can set an alert to be notified by email if your usage exceeds a certain amount.
If you average using $5 of electricity per day and you set a usage alert to notify you when you use $10 of electricity in a day, it can alert you to a problem.
If you have a problem with your HVAC or your water heater, electricity usage can spike to as much as 5x your normal usage. This can result in a very high monthly bill.

Here's what's left of the tree that fell last night. They finally got the power back on at 4 a.m., and knocked on the door to tell us that they got stuck in the yard while replacing the pole. They broke a half inch cable trying to pull the truck out. And the yard is pretty torn up around it. But we are thankful for Georgia Power.
