Okay, firstly, I wanted to thank you for all the nice words. But looking at the whole, it's just platitudes. Now forgive me if I interpreted this completely wrong, if I did, I'm really sorry. But you know what made this whole thing just empty platitudes? This - "It's been a week" This makes it look like you just spit out nice stuff, to, at the end, get your request out. Now, I get it's not easy to approach someone you know is hurting and still ask them for something.

The idea with Mayday is sweet and if you were sure I watched that episode, sure, no problem. But this last sentence, completely ruined this whole thing you worked out there. So no. I won't any time soon, at least. I like the idea, so I will do it at some point, but not now, now I'm just pissed- pardon my choice of words.

"It’s been a week." - Seriously, what made you decide to use this last sentence? Putting a heart behind it doesn't work in this context, at all, by the way.

You don't get to decide how much time I take to grief and recover. You don't get to decide anything I feel or do.

Now again, if I misunderstood, I'm really, very sorry! But right now I'm freaking angry. This whole thing just reads like "Yeah I know so hard for you, so sorry you feel that way, all the best and such, but it's been a week now, would you write this thing for me?" Rereading that request, you see it too, right?

"If you’re feeling up for it, a comfort/snuggle with Mayday? It’s been a week." - these both sentences don't work together. Am I supposed to do this when I feel up for it, or should I feel bad because I took a week to mourn my beloved pet and best friend and should get to work on your ask right away?

I recover on my terms, not on yours.
