Books in English on classical Indian scriptures
Ajai Kumar Chhawchharia is a humble, unpretentious and simple-hearted author residing in the holy city of Ayodhya, the city famed as the place where the Supreme Being took birth as Lord Ram in some ancient time.
It is perhaps for the first time that the author’s wonderful Books in English present to the world a detailed exposition in a simple language on ancient Indian scriptures and classical spiritual texts that were hitherto inaccessible for a majority of readers in the world because of the language barrier as they are either in classical Sanskrit, such as the Upanishads and many variations of the epic Ramayana, or are in vernacular Hindi, the latter especially being the case with the great poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas’ classics.
Classical Indian scriptures such as the Upanishads and the various versions of the Ramayana are ripe with spiritualism, wisdom and metaphysical philosophy, but unfortunately they are restricted to a handful of scholars and book-shelves of libraries and not easily accessible to the modern world mainly because of the language barrier and lack of their availability in a modern format.
The same thing applies to the devotional literature produced by the great saint-poet-scholar of medieval India named Goswami Tuslidas whose classics are the beloved choice of the masses in India for their devotional quotient and a direct appeal to the heart.
Genre of Writing: Spiritualism, Scriptural Philosophies, Metaphysical, Religious, Devotional and Theological.
Type of writing:-- Full and comprehensive English renderings of Indian scriptural texts in simple readable English.
