Episode 304 Kacy Thoughts
Tumblr media
Buying them a drink or not, they're on their honeymoon and that is a guy. Kate is not impressed. Her thoughts are on her job and currently fake wife.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Feel a little robbed that we didn't see our girls in their sun hats. Especially since Lucy's is so massive.
Tumblr media
Lucy totally asked for drinks in tiki glasses with fruit and little umbrellas.
Lucy: Yes, they're a little tacky, but we're tourists and they're fun!
Kate's wondering why they aren't still in their room. As newlyweds, they should be method, right?
Tumblr media
Kate doin' science! She's very proud of her forensic ability, even if it's very limited. She trusts the professionals, but she has to do it, she's going to do it right.
Tumblr media
The audacity of the guy she tipped and the one she let buy them drinks trying to kill her currently fake wife. When she catches up with them, she going to kick their asses!
Tumblr media
...Unless Kate beats her to it.
Tumblr media
Sometimes, this is just the whole Kate and Lucy mood...
Tumblr media
Team drinks before an official extended stay at the hotel. This time they're only doing room service. (One shot to follow at some point. It's already started.)

Maybe it’s just me but I think what this episode showcased that a) all 3 of them are unhinged but b) I think a lot of ppl are used to vampires being charming, funny, charismatic or sexy and honestly, Lestat has ALWAYS been terrifying and perhaps seeing the monstrous side to a vampire really took ppl off guard of this high gothic vampire fantasy/vampire family values into oh shit he’s not a good person.
This episode takes out the “fun” of the show and I think that’s what a lot of viewers are going to/will experience and you guys have all the rights to feel affected. I just wish there was a tw warning at the beginning though. It stepped into “real” territory.
I’m very curious even more so now on what’s gonna happen in the rest of the season into s2. I was like “OH. THAT HAPPENED. Damn.”
They went there. We gotta see the outcome. Also I wonder how much of the scripts/formulating ideas Anne saw or saw at all before her passing. 🧐

Oh. My. God. This was amazing I am shook it finally happened they finally kissed and I have so many thoughts from start to finish it was so good. First off we have Amber and Gregory not being on the same page again. I feel like no matter what he does Gregory wouldn’t make Amber happy they’re two very different people. Amber is a mom who’s very materialistic but also wants to relax with fancy things which is fine while Gregory loves to plan. I was honestly glad she dumped him because they both deserve better and Janine and Gregory deserve to be together.
So the conference wow there’s a lot here first off Janine trying to make Gregory feel better from the jump is adorable. It showcases how much she cares about him and wants him to get over this breakup.
Tumblr media
I loved how they were able to let loose and get a little drunk. I love that she accepts that he’s a weirdo and she means that in a good way. They’re both weirdos and how she said that people should be be with people who like them as they are. My heart melted when she complimented him and he said “don’t sleep on Janine either” they’re two weirdos who don’t really fit in with other people sometimes but fit in with each other.
Tumblr media
Honestly this whole episode just proves that they love each other exactly as they are goofy, corny weirdos who love to teach.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now we get to the best part of the episode when they go to the flower classroom. It’s not just romantic because there’s flowers everywhere it’s romantic because it’s very Janine and it fits Gregory too. It’s part of what she loves about being a teacher the growth of watching her students (not to mention how her personal growth is blooming). Gregory gets it too he’s been falling back in love with gardening when he got to Abbott and he’s really grown into his own and not as much under his father’s control (but he has that growth to do too. These light confessions and heart eyes just showcase so much about them I love it!
A bit tipsy or not they were both deeply into each other at this point and the flowers, confession and everything just circulated. Gregory couldn’t take it anymore her general self entrapped him so he kissed her and she did not back away at all. I loved the silence as she just let him kiss her. The slow drop of the flower and her pulling his lanyard?! She wants all of him and she’s wanted it for a while. The kiss was so soft and passionate I loved it!!! It’s about time! I definitely believe that if they didn’t hear someone coming in they might have kept kissing and possibly confessed their feelings but I’m kinda glad they didn’t so they could keep the slow burn going. It’s still a slow burn even though they kissed because they’re not together. The inevitable happened and they said it was a nothing and due to the alcohol we all know better they both felt it and they will kiss again. When will they kiss again? I say they get together season 4 or 5 to let it stretch out despite how long it will be.
I think my fav thing about this kiss was the layers to it not just the flowers and the teaching but the fact that they knell down and they’re level for once was perfect! What’s next for them? In my opinion a whole lot of pining, personal growth, shared moments and shared looks. We’re in for a ride and I can’t wait I feel like I should say more but I can’t think of anything else so tell me what you think! We won you guys!

General Thoughts on the rest of Berry in the Big City season 3
Now that my other viewing obligations are done, and because I got a snow day, here are my thoughts on the episodes from season three that went up on Paramont+ last week.
First off, either Paramont+ put the episodes up in a weird order, or the youtube uploads have been way off, because the unaired eps are all over the place. I know that the youtube uploads move eps around in order to air them in seasonally appropriate places, but when the past seasons went up on Netflix, the majority of the unaired eps were towards the end, give or take.
Anyway, on to the actual episodes themselves:
Relaxing by the Pool - Kind of surprised this one didn't go up on youtube back when the other pool ep did, since they're usually so good about keeping seasonal eps in the proper season. But season three did have a lot more summer episodes than usual, so maybe that's the reason why. I can also understand why this would be the one they'd skip, since it is *super* lackluster. It feels like a lesson they should have already learned. I did like Lemon lampshading the whole thing, though.
Donuts and Drawbridges - This was pretty fun. Feels a smidge stereotypical for only the guy characters to be the DnDers, but I can also buy all three having an interest in it for various reasons. Also, I think this is the first time Strawberry Beefcake has actually gotten a speaking role. At any rate, he's in the credits as Body Building Berry.
Night of the Sweet Tooth Fairy - A Lime/Blueberry clashing ep that's actually kind of sweet? Who would have thought? But it is definitely appreciated. This does raise the question of how old these girls are supposed to be, if Lime still had a baby tooth to lose...
The Berryville Trail - Just an okay ep, but more fun than the usual just okay eps, if that makes sense. I think having it be Raspberry-centric elevates it a bit. Now that the sleepover arc is over, it's been interesting to see which berries invite her and which don't, even if I know that the decision has more to do with what's needed for the plot of the ep than the actual friendships between characters.
Confectionary Decree Number 33 - Now this was a good ep. Pitting Raspberry against Cherry and Cheese, perfection. No notes.
The Berry Best Baker Competition - This ep just illustrates Crabapple Jam's ineffectiveness as an antagonist. She tries again and again to plant seeds of doubt in Strawberry, but in the end, her friendships are just too strong, as I'm sure we'll see in the season finale.
Bake the World a Better Place, parts 1 & 2 - Was that Crabapple Jam's endgame all along? Manipulating Strawberry so she could have an excuse to fire everyone just like that? Maybe so. But as I predicted way back when, her downfall was underestimating the many, many connections Strawberry has made over the past two seasons. And I do not buy her exit for a minute. Unlike the Pieman, she runs a food empire; she probably knows how to handle a PR snafu like that. But if it means we won't have to deal with her next season (assuming there is a fourth season), then I'll forgive it. Hopefully she takes Cherry and Cheese with her.

Thinking about Memento Mori again. Because as much as I enjoy that episode…. What are we doing with Una?
I mean, I enjoy a little bit of injury and whump for my fav as much as the next girl. And I understand the concept of introducing ticking clocks in fiction to create urgency. But the ticking clocks they chose??
First off sepsis is awful and (at least in vetmed) very difficult to treat. But it’s also infection. Something we literally just last episode learned that Una’s body will burn off?? Granted, waiting too long and having Una turn into a glow stick in the middle of a very busy sickbay would also be a bad idea, but she likely wouldn’t have to worry about “feeling like she was giving birth out of her mouth.”
But even more than that….. you don’t use plasma for surgery. Or maybe this is just a vetmed thing, so anyone with human med experience please weigh in, but you use fluids during surgery. Even with oozing, life threatening wounds, you run iv fluids throughout the surgery and for at least several hours after. Plasma comes only about 12 hours later, and even then that’s only if the patients bloods are really bad. Because, y’know, you don’t want to introduce the risk of allergic reaction to a system which has already been heavily taxed due to injury and blood loss.
Which would also be a good reason to not just randomly give a transfusion from doctor to patient. Especially since blood loss can be detrimental to a persons ability to function, which might just maybe be a really bad idea in an extreme triage situation.
So, I mean, shout out to those fanfic authors who’ve put Una in glow stick isolation for her recovery. I’d say you’re right on the money.
(Oh, and double shout out to those couple of fanfics I’ve come across that implied Una’s mods make her unaware of just how badly she’s been injured, rather than just casually reckless. Personal opinion, but way more interesting reasoning and characterization. We already know Chris is reckless as hell, we don’t need both ships parents being idiots.)
All in all, this mostly makes me laugh but also I genuinely have questions.

I’ve finished watching almost all of ROTTMNT S1 with my friends and Man. Jesus Christ.
The episode turtle-dega nights made me really emotional. Tbf any episodes where dads are a main focus in a show make me emotional. Especially if a main character has a strained/complicated relationship with said dad, but I can’t say i ever expected Rise to make me cry.
I cant fully explain how I feel, other than Donnie and Mikeys writing in the episode is effectively my two brain cells when it comes to my own dad whom I’ve cut contact with. Idk maybe the episode is different for other people, but it’s actually my favorite in se1 so far and genuinely touching.
I really REALLY related to Donnie in this episode, I mean I relate to him a lot but this hit different. The way Donnie and Mikey both react to Splinter wanting to spend time with them is something I’ve experienced myself, and I’ve been both Donnie being desperate for father-son time, and Mikey being (rightfully) suspicious of why my dad whose never around suddenly wants to hang out.
I also enjoy Splinters writing, I think he’s an interesting take on a father figure character. He obviously loves his kids, but his trauma and emotional distance makes it hard on him. He’s clearly a guy who struggles to cope with things. I also like that like?? While yes Splinter was wrong for using Donnie to get the tank, he isn’t vilified for wanting to feel like a person again and not some nasty mutated rat.
More importantly though I like they let Donnie call Splinter out, it’s obvious all the boys crave paternal affection but there’s been several moments showing how badly it effects Donnie. And to me the fact this is the first episode we hear Splinter call his kid by his ACTUAL NAME instead of color really to me cements how Splinter realized just how badly he fucked up in this situation. I just enjoy the resolution, I enjoy Splinter telling his boys hes proud, I enjoy seeing Splinter realize his effect on his kids.
Idk maybe other people don’t think Splinter deserved forgiveness maybe they do. This entire episode was extremely cathartic for me personally because it’s something I wish I could do with my own dad.
Small edit: im so proud of my skrunkly rat dad for improving so much since this episode augh. We’re in s2 now and hes so great

The thing that really struck me about this episode was that TK still had some measure of doubt. He still thought that maybe, just maybe, the love he's been offered was conditional. So much so that he actually balked at Carlos' easy dismissal of TK's offer to not go through with the wedding.
I just know that TK has agonized over what would happen if he relapsed. If he became a different version of himself. If Carlos would leave him because he wasn't worth the effort anymore. He holds tightly to these insecurities and this health scare gave him a chance to, more or less, safely confront them.
And now, he's able to have that shred of doubt that still lingered, even after everything, washed away.
TK can finally rest easy knowing that Carlos will love him, no matter what, until the end of forever.

Since I am constantly seeing discourse about the subject (especially in regards to thoughts I've expressed in my fanfic), I want to explain my opinion on some things. But I'm going to ignore the crazy sci-fi and break it down into more a understandable context.
Imagine you have a co-worker. He's kind of a jerk and he's said some dumb shit, and you rightfully write him off for it. Unfortunately, your new friend is also his best friend, so the three of you kind of hang out sometimes. And you still work together. He's good at his job, but you think his personality leaves a lot to be desired. At best, you're acquaintances, at worst you're less-than-cordial colleagues.
Then you get into some trouble, are in a bad place, and he ends up unintentionally being on the receiving end of you spilling your guts about personal baggage. He can't relate exactly, but he makes sure you know that he sympathizes, and doesn't make fun of you or bring up how vulnerable you were. Your secret is safe with him, which seems counterintuitive to his character. He's actually rather nice throughout the whole incident. So okay, maybe your friend has a reason for liking this guy. After that you work together some more, the three of you, even collaborating on some big special project. You warm up to him (he's actually a lot nicer than he initially seemed, once he stops trying to pretend like he's hot shit).
You might even tentatively consider him a friend. Not a close friend, but a friend. You'll eat lunch together at work; he'd probably give you a ride if you needed one. But there's a difference between work friends and real friends. You've been treated pretty poorly by people in the past, and you're not just going to trust any random person for the really important stuff. Good friends, best friends would lend you their car. They'd bring you soup if you were sick, listen to your problems, keep your deepest secrets, take care of you - especially when you can't take care of yourself. He's also been watching you, trying to flirt and has subtly asked you out a couple times. You think this guy isn't so bad, but you don't trust him - not like that.
And then you're with some people at a gathering and suddenly, you've been drugged. Everything is hot and fuzzy and all you can think about is picking up someone and screwing their brains out. And there he is, your sort-of-a-friend. You spend the night throwing yourself at him - touching him, pushing him against the wall, practically trying to tear his clothes off. All you can think is why not? He's easy, he's got a reputation - and obviously you're not thinking clearly because of the drugs.
Except instead of hauling you off to some room, he pushes your hands away - says that you're sick, you need to go home. He calls you a cab, but when he sees the state you're in, he climbs in with you and tells the driver your address. You're trying to get into his lap, insisting that you want this, that whatever you've said before about his advances aren't true. You're so doped up and out of your mind, even you aren't sure if these are lies or the truth. And for a minute, he gives in when you kiss him - he's kissing you back. But he stops, despite your protests, despite the fact that things he's said have you sure that he wants what you're offering. Instead, he gets you home, makes sure you've got water and something for a hangover. He gets your shoes off so you're comfortable, but tucks you into bed fully-clothed. He calls your mutual friend to check up on you in the morning in case you're too sick and need help. Then he leaves.
How would that not change your perspective? This is someone you thought was only a surface level work friend, someone you weren't sure you could trust. Then he took care of you, kept you safe, made sure you were ok when you were vulnerable, and stopped you from doing something you'd regret. Suddenly this guy went from a "sure I'll spot you five bucks for a coffee" friend to, "let me hold you hair back and bring you tea while you're sick" friend.
That is how I see B'Elanna's view of Tom after "Blood Fever". I can't imagine a scenario like this that doesn't leave your perceptions of a person fundamentally changed - for the better. Yes, she was embarrassed, and yes it was a violating experience. But honestly, I would have thought that anger would be aimed more at Vorik (even if it wasn't his fault), because he's the one who forced all of this onto B'Elanna in the first place. And from what we know of B'Elanna's struggle with vulnerability, it makes more sense to me that her embarrassment would be aimed inward, because she tried to force herself on Tom and is constantly worried about the "Klingon" aspects of herself being "too much" for other people.
So yes, I stand by my headcanon that B'Elanna does have a "silver lining" takeaway from the whole fiasco - she sees Tom in a drastically different and better light, and appreciates what he did for her (for the latter, she even says as much at the end of the episode).

Just some brief thoughts about the last episode of IWTV.
Let me premise that there should have been warnings and I totally get if DA survivors were triggered.
With that said, I don't really mind where the series is going, for the following reasons.
I think the true point of the series to me (and of the VC books before that) revolves around three main themes: trauma, evil, love and their relationship to each other.
Vampires are born out of trama. Trauma comes from evil and breeds evil. Are we all evil then? Are we all good? Or are we all both? Has whatever evil we have in us always been there or was it born out of trauma? Does it even matter? And, above all, to what extent - then - do we deserve love?
These are themes that one could explore in any kind of genre with different results. Horror however gives us the opportunity to purge ourselves from the worst version of whatever we feel. By extremising all the negative feelings we have and putting them in a story we can sometimes better exorcise them. Moreover, in a horror-fantasy setting we can explore solutions which would never be available in real life, but which serve as a narrative device to re-elaborate those feelings.
Which is to say that imo, in a story like this, if Lestat and Louis didn't do truly truly terrible things to each other, their path to reconciliation would fell flat. In order to explore the themes above believably within the genre they need to really grapple with their monstrousness.
Not only that, but if what they did to each other was less unforgivable (and yes, despite what happened, I would still argue that from Lestat POV Louis participating in his murder will be up there):
1) their journey to meet again would only feel as a plot device keeping them separated instead of a metaphor for how much they needed to change to be right for each other;
2) centering the story around immortal beings would lose most narrative sense. If the writers can finish the story they want to tell and they play their cards right, I believe that - in the end - we will see that the only true gift immortality can give is time to heal the trauma we have suffered and to confront our evil and come out on the other side seeing ourselves still worthy of love, by trying and trying again, as is sometimes impossible within a human lifespan.
All of this is to say that - while I understand if some people are turned off from today's episode and I would never question the personal comfort of anyone - I think it shows a lot of potential for the kind of moral queries they will be able to touch upon in later episodes.
I will wait and see how they deal with this, but rn, I stay interested.

So this reaction is not as well formulated as I had originally planned thanks to tumblr closing halfway through.
I have mixed reactions about this.
I loved the Jamie content (completely ignoring the 2nd part of Jamie’s meltdown as it didn’t fit in with the feel or vibe and was played for laughs).
I loved that right off the bat, you can tell there is something off about Jamie at the press conference - hunched in on himself, avoidant and just down even before he speaks and basically trash talks all that  he’s done so well.
I love Trent’s insight of Roy’s ‘love language’ to mama Lasso.
I loved Jamie’s reaction to Roy’s confrontation  on Jamie’s debbie downer humble bullshit on so may levels. At first we have the slightly cocky, indifferent Jamie (walks lazily unbothered, head lolling like he’s saying ‘bring it on’) - it’s subtle, but it’s there, and such a parallel to  Ted’s ‘practice rant, but instead of Jamie stiffening up, he completely breaks and looks genuinely distressed and panicked (the whole repetitive ‘I don’t know’s, flapping hands, circling) and in despair - his honest admission of not being able to sleep or eat or even condition his hair - this was raw and just spot on.
I mean, he looks pale and exhausted and just needs looking after,
Tumblr media
still has the right vibe here ☝☝☝☝
The 2nd part, I actually saw in gif form before the episode, and genuinely thought Jamie was drunk or off his face on something, and just felt wrong and played for laughs, so instead im going to imagine a missing scene and head canon that Roy’s ‘Instant Jamie Care Package is activated’ at the words not sleeping and not eating and he fucks off to passively aggressively feed Jamie and enforce nap time on him.
Roy and Keeley watching Jamie from the back row - Stealthy Jamie watching in concern 😍😍😍
Jamie and the suitcase was sweet and although slightly amusing, probably has multiple layers, shows how conflicted Jamie is right now and also made me think Jamie has Imposter Syndrome and might think he doesn’t deserve to be back with Richmond and, despite how obvious he’s a huge part of the Richmond Family, he’s really insecure about it and where he fits in.
Jamie’s visit home - not just the fact that he just needed his mum’s hug and a moan and a ‘ your dad is a prick talk’ but the fact that Jamie has a step dad who seems to be a really supportive figure.
Keeley and Roy Adulting on Jamie’s bed - good vibes
Jamie playing beautifully despite how much the City Fans are being pricks to him.
Okay, so Ted’s speech to Jamie - sure, is it the greatest vibe, well no, but is it what Jamie might need right now? I get what Ted’s saying - is hating on his dad really helping right in that moment, is Jamie letting his feelings for his dad hold him back - well yes, but it’s complicated. Simplistically, Ted is telling him to let it go, let himself forgive, for now at least, so that James Tartt Snr doesn’t ruin this moment for Jamie. Realistically, Jamie needs a much deeper conversation about this, but in that moment, Jamie can just let it go, like poopy, he doesn't need to forget it. I’m very conflicted about this, and I really think there needs to be a follow up to this, especially in light of the fact that we now know James is in what looks like rehab, because ‘oh yay he looks like he’s proud of his son’ because he’s sober 🙄🙄🙄, and I do not want this to be an instant James Tartt Snr redemption story. I mean, Jamie doesn’t know that at all, just the viewers so at least Jamie played for himself and not his dad.
Also head-canon is that Roy whispered ‘I’m proud of you’ (* stamps feet in full tantrum that I didn’t get to hear what was said *
Ted and Beard having a Pep excited freak out was a gem
And Ted has a truth bomb for Rebecca - is he leaving?
More nitpicks:
I needed someone to say Jamie is a shite in nining armour - if he isn’t it I’m going to be super pissed off.
Also, also, someone needs to have a more deeper conversation about James Tartt Snr with Jamie because there’s ‘forgiving’ but reaching out to your abusive prick of a father to check if he’s okay doesn’t sit right and yeah maybe James is trying to do right the thing by going to rehab but I saif it before and I’ll say it again, I cannot accept instant redemption
Also, also, also, are Ted and Jamie ever going to have that conversation about going back to Man City, because I think it would be such a boost to Jamie’s self esteem to realise that Ted never wanted to Jamie to leave in the first place.
(I would have giffed more reactions but tumblr is refusing to give me the options again
God, there’s so much to unpick about this episode but foe now I’m just going to to forever remember Jamie ugly crying and admitting he isn’t eating or sleeping and the little prick cinnamon roll is tired and emotional And Roy instantly activating Jamie Tartt Care package

Tim helping Celina with her mum was so sweet
Celina this whole episode was on point
The big family stuff at Nolan’s was wonderful
Tim being so adorably happy at the end was perfect
I do just wish we knew whether everyone knew about Chenford. I’m going with they must do otherwise surely they’d be questioning Tim’s new assignment but some teasing especially from Angela wouldn’t have gone a miss, but you know she’s doing it even if we aren’t seeing it

Huh. I didn't realize people felt like Echo had a "bad ending" in the series finale. I know I'm not much of an Echo fan, but I didn't see anything sad about what happened? I guess it just made sense to me because it seemed to match their arc perfectly.
From the start Liz's story was about her learning not to run away. To trust that the people she loved wouldn't disappoint her and would return to her. To move past the fear her mother's abandonment and Rosa's death left her with.
From the start Max's story was to learn to stop hiding from who and what he was. To accept his alienness, to stop being afraid of his powers and the responsibility that came with them. To stop trying to be "just a guy from Roswell."
Max going to Oasis is him accepting who he is - it's him saying I'm no longer afraid of this. This is a part of who I am, and this is my responsibility and I accept that. Liz letting him go is proof that she is no longer haunted by the past. She is not afraid to let Max go to Oasis because she knows he will return to her. She's not running anymore.
They're literally engaged. He promises to marry her when he returns and we know that's going to happen. I know we didn't see it happen - but we know it will.
(Ironically, this was Isobel's ending in the source material. Trevor returns to their homeplanet to help there with the promise to return.)
Maybe I'd feel differently if I was more attached to them as a ship, but I'm not sure I would.

General Thoughts on Jamming with Cherry Jam
One of the better song episodes we've had this season, with the fiddle and celtic style helping it stand out. And it was fun to hear the various things everyone was up to (I, too, would want to see if ferret parks are actually a thing). But one has to wonder why Cherry Jam and the others are still wearing their berry fairy wings. You'd think that they would have come up with a new look after splitting off from Sherry Bobbleberry. Still, it was nice to see them again.
Now that there are credits on the youtube uploads, it seems a bit egregious not to credit Cherry Jam and the others, while including Lime's singing voice (as a stunt singer?). Sure, there's a lot of voices, but come on.

S6e9 thoughts:
Setting daddy Hudson up as judgmental and unlikeable…on the one hand, it explains Charlie’s eagerness to…please or something? Maybe his drive? It’s honestly a bit odd, but given how little we know about their relationship previous to this episode let’s just go with it.
Sarah with her hand on Charlie’s arm right out there in the open at the crime scene…I’m here for it.
Sarah’s exam - I was starting to think they’d sort of dropped the Ph.D studies and just decided she already completed the degree (in record time, even)…anyway I’m cool with them picking that back up so long as it keeps making sense.
You’d think the death of a cop would have hit the team harder. I feel like a lot of potential plot development was maybe shelved to give Charlie and his dad more scenes.
I had a hard time with the whodunit in this one and I cringe at how glaringly obvious it was.
There was a whole lot going on with the navy/cop conflict for it to turn out not to have been an officer who killed the constable…interesting choice.
The team seems to know that Charlie has tension with his dad. Or maybe they were just reading the situation and it being awkward. Who knows?
Dad covering for the sailors didn’t make a ton of sense, but it set up the “you know your sailors better than your own children” and “my boys” comments so I’ll forgive them for that.
The changing pronunciation of lieutenant in the span of a minute…cringe.
The way a switch seemed to have flipped between dad and Sarah in the observation room is interesting. I’m guessing he hadn’t met Sarah prior to this. I’m curious to explore their reactions to each other in fic form.
I could have used a “I could kiss you right now” line between Charlie and Sarah when they each excitedly showed each other their key pieces of evidence. Again, fic idea.
“Illegally obtained marijuana” um…that’s not really a thing at this point in Canada, or at least not something that would be cause for criminal charges. But yeah, it would be a problem with military rules and all.
Charlie Hudson growled. Charlie. Hudson. Growled.
Charlie needs a nap. I will write him one in the growing post-ep fic idea I have for this episode.
I enjoyed the Charah evidence back and forth walk and talk scene. It was just really nicely choreographed.
Where did the killer actually think he was going to run off to? Dude, you’re literally in a police station.
They could have hit Joe’s speech harder by actually, you know, showing it…as well as the dead constable’s partner’s words. Again, details lost for more focus on Charlie and his dad.
The end scene with Charlie and his dad burying the hatchet was sweet. Wrapped up too quickly, but sweet nonetheless.
Once again I feel the need to churn out a fic rather quickly as we have only three days til the next episode. Will give it my best shot. I’m at maybe 3-4 chapters so far in my outline.
