"Every Body is a revelatory investigation of the lives of intersex people. The film tells the stories of three individuals who have moved from childhoods marked by shame, secrecy, and non-consensual surgeries to thriving adulthoods after each decided to set aside medical advice to keep their bodies a secret and instead came out as their authentic selves. Actor and screenwriter River Gallo (they/them), political consultant Alicia Roth Weigel (she/they), and Ph.D. student Sean Saifa Wall (he/him) are now leaders in a fast-growing global movement advocating for greater understanding of the intersex community and an end to unnecessary surgeries. Woven into the story is a stranger-than-fiction case of medical abuse, featuring exclusive footage from the NBC News archives, which helps explain the modern-day treatment of intersex people."
I just got back from watching an early screening of this film and it was beautiful, powerful, and meaningful in ways I did not expect! Met so many intersex people in my city and it was just really really, incredible.
Really recommend watching this film for any intersex people. This is the link to rsvp to the free screenings.
The film will also be available in theaters on June 30th.

EXCLUSIVE: Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible franchise) is in final talks to star in Best Served Cold, a new film based on Joe Abercrombie’s bestselling book of the same name, which Tim Miller (Deadpool) will direct for Skydance.
Originally published as part of Abercrombie’s First Law World series in the summer of 2009, Best Served Cold tells the story of the legendary mercenary Monza Murcatto (Ferguson), the betrayal that ostracizes her, and her ensuing quest for revenge that will forever change a nation.
Abercrombie adapted his novel for the screen. Producers on the film will include Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger, Aaron Ryder, Miller for Blur Studios, and Abercrombie. Aimee Rivera will oversee the project for Skydance.
Best known for roles in the Dune and Mission: Impossible franchises, Ferguson currently exec produces and stars on Silo, a dystopian sci-fi series adapting the Wool novels by Hugh Howey, which premiered on Apple TV+ earlier this month. Coming up for the actress later this year is the release of the Christopher McQuarrie-helmed Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two. She returns as former MI6 operative Ilsa Faust in the former title, set for release on July 12th — in the latter, out November 3rd, reprising her role as Lady Jessica Atreides.
A three-time Emmy winner, as well as an Oscar and DGA Award nominee, Miller is best known for helming the original Deadpool and for creating the Netflix anthology series Love, Death & Robots. He directed and exec produced Terminator: Dark Fateand is also an EP on Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog films, including a planned third installment. Miller most recently took over reshoots on Lionsgate’s adaptation of the video game Borderlands following Eli Roth’s exit from the project.
In addition to the First Law trilogy encompassing titles The Blade Itself, Before They Are Hanged and Last Argument of Kings, New York Times bestselling author Abercrombie has penned novels like Red Country. He previously worked with Miller as a writer on his series Love, Death & Robots.

EXCLUSIVE: Four-time Emmy nominee Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey, Godless) has joined the cast of Here, Robert Zemeckis’ adaptation of Richard McGuire’s graphic novel from Miramax.
The project reunites Zemeckis with writer Eric Roth, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright for the first time since their collaboration on Forrest Gump earned six Oscars including Best Picture. Paul Bettany also co-stars.
Sony Pictures acquired U.S. rights. Miramax retains international rights.
Based on McGuire’s graphic novel, Here is a breathtaking and revolutionary odyssey through time and memory. The innovative story is centered on a place in New England where from wilderness and then, later, from a home – love, loss, struggle, hope and legacy play out between couples and families over generations.

Peter Hayden Dinklage
Peter Hayden Dinklage (/ˈdɪŋklɪdʒ) is an American film and stage actor. He received acclaim for portraying Tyrion Lannister on the HBO television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series a record four times. He also received a Golden Globe Award in 2011 and a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2020 for the role.
Raised in Mendham Township, New Jersey, he studied acting at Bennington College while working at a local guitar shop, starring in a number of amateur stage productions. His film official movie debut was in Living in Oblivion (1995), although he already in 1991 appeared uncredited as a circus artist in Woody Allen's Shadows and Fog, and his breakthrough came with the comedy-drama The Station Agent (2003).
Dinklage has appeared in Elf (2003), Lassie (2005), Find Me Guilty (2006), Penelope (2006), Underdog (2007), Death at a Funeral (2007), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008), Death at a Funeral (2010), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Pixels (2015), and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). In 2018, he appeared as Eitri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Avengers: Infinity War and Hervé Villechaize in the biopic film My Dinner with Hervé. He also provided voice-acting for the video game Destiny.
He is also known for his work in theatre having performed the title character in Richard III in 2003 at the Public Theatre, Rakitin in A Month in the Country in 2015 at Classic Stage Company and the title role in Cyrano at the Daryl Roth Theatre in 2019.
The actor has a common form of dwarfism known as achondroplasia; he stands 4 ft 5 in (1.35 m) tall. He has used his celebrity status to highlight social conditions about dwarfs, as in his acceptance speech at the 2012 Golden Globe ceremony.

Aaliyah Rose is a lie, and she’s okay with that.
Born a long time ago in a town with a new name in a country that no longer exists, Alina Roth was the daughter of a wealthy, prominent, but not noble family in Cluj,Transylvania, in 1712. This was a turbulent time period for not just Transylvania, which was newly under the control of the Habsburg dynasty, but also the city of Cluj itself, which would be plagued with all manner of economic disparity. The Roths were lucky, though. The Roths managed to maintain much of their wealth, and Alina was able to grow up comfortably, if not always happily. Alina’s life was very much not her own. She was married off at twenty-one, and she had given her husband both his heir and a spare by thirty, along with two girls. No more, she said. Her job was done. No more.
With no love lost between her and her husband, she was allowed to do as she pleased, even if that wasn’t much. Alina attended social events when they presented themselves. She languished in her home. She occasionally saw to her children. She paid no mind to the goings on of the people beneath her. It was all so droll. Her life was so droll, endlessly unexciting. Alina did not know of the quiet rage building in the world. She did not know of the quiet rage building within herself. She had no words for the discontentment in her life. She wouldn’t have those words for a very long time.
There was a fire. Whether it was set on purpose or on accident is anyone’s guess, but it overtook her husband’s estate quickly, and Alina was couldn’t find her way through the smoke. She choked on it, succumbed to it, until she felt hands on her shoulders, something cold in her throat. The next time she woke, she was dead. It was a strange feeling. The woman with her was a face that Alina had only seen in passing, a maid from the kitchens. She’d turned Alina on a whim, and now she was stuck with a useless progeny. And useless Alina was. She had no life skills, no fostered talents. She’d been raised to look pretty, to provide a beautiful portrait, little else.
That ended up being no matter. Alina took to being undead in ways that she had not taken to her life before. She reinvented herself everywhere that she went, leaving behind bodies and broken hearts like a trail. Her name changed frequently, so much that Alina Roth was a woman in the past, buried under a pile of rubble. A forgotten name in history. But she was not forgotten. She met people, had fun, learned, blood always tastefully dabbed away from the corners of her lips after a long night faded into a red dawn. She would later claim to be the inspiration for several notorious vampires throughout history and literature, but that is a story for another time.
Years faded into decades, into centuries. The monotony came back, the ennui. She felt again like a young woman in an estate, except now she could see the world and do whatever she wanted, and none of it had any real meaning. She was a ghost with a body. She drifted around without cause or care.
Aaliyah Rose woke up in 1993. She was walking through an alley in New York when she saw a mugging in process. She didn’t know why she stopped it, only that she did, and it felt good. All those years, all that strength and speed and power, and she’d never truly used it. God, it felt so good to use it. She became something of an avenging angel, though there was nothing angelic about her. Aaliyah Rose was the embodiment of 90s grunge and post punk rock, bruised knuckles that healed by the end of the night, a cigarette between her teeth, a cracked baseball bat in her hands. She learned to feed off of criminals, the worst that society had to offer, and she learned that she didn’t want to just fight the good fight; Aaliyah just liked fighting. Gone was the bride trapped in the country estate. Gone was the languishing vampire wiping away blood with silk.
Claiming to have been turned in the mid-90s in Seattle, Aaliyah traveled with open eyes, getting her hands dirty in ways that she never had before. She started getting more involved with less than legal activity, telling herself that the best ways to feed off the scum of the earth was to work with them. She started out running jobs and providing extra, supernatural muscle, her frame deceptively dangerous. She worked her way up, becoming a rather reputable fence. After all, she’d been around for a long time, even if she was pretending not to be. At some point, Aaliyah ended up making her way to Lunar Cove, joining the clan under her new name and lifestyle, though she kept traveling, returning to town sparingly. She forged new connections and ended up getting involved with several different crime families. About twelve years ago, she was working in Chicago and ran into some Twilight fanatic that clocked her in as a vampire. There was always a bit of fear that reared its head when mortals figured out what she was; Aaliyah was old, and she’d seen the decimation that hunters had caused in the past. It was easier to pretend that she was younger. It put less of a target on her head. The kid had seemed clueless, though, so she took him back to Lunar Cove to abide by the accords, and that was where he stayed, as far as she was aware.
Aaliyah started to realize that the town was a decent place to set up base, taking ownership of Eclipse and making the club into a "reputable" supernatural black market. Aaliyah Rose had a reputation of being one of the best fences on the east coast, able to buy and sell stolen goods with a quick turnaround. Her business was fair, or as fair as it could be, but Aaliyah loved when things went wrong. She loved when tensions got high, when fights broke out, and, more than that, she loved breaking fights up. She continued traveling, coming back to town frequently, and, when needed, recommending the town for the occasional supernaturals that she met that needed a place to go. About five years ago, when some former associates needed a place to go, Aaliyah told them about Lunar Cove and ended up just sticking around. She had plenty of business, plenty of things to get into, and, in the end, she could always leave again if she wanted. After all these years, she was a master of reinvention.

Growing up, the Adkinson kids were inseparable. Growing up in a loving home aided in their development and appreciation for one another. They came to each other for everything and anything, always aware that they can rely on each other for whatever that may be troubling them. Of course, they fought like siblings when the time came, but they always apologized in the end, especially with the help of their parents. Their relationship with one another remained solid until the accident happen with Ben's niece and Allison's daughter. Please read Ben's full bio for more insight! But here's a brief overview of what happened:
One year ago, Ben and his younger sister, Emma, were assigned to keep an eye on their niece while his older sister, Allison, and her boyfriend went away for the weekend. Emma had work in the morning so she went to bed earlier than Ben, leaving him alone to care for his niece.
In the evening, Ben had invited over some friends for a party. One of his dealers was in attendance and left a pile of cocaine on the kitchen counter. Ben had been using all evening, feeling secure enough in the fact that his niece had been put to bed earlier in the night. So, the party continued, Ben spiraling out with friends in his sister’s home. Little did he know, his niece had woken up from all the noise and got into the coke in the kitchen.
Since then, Ben has been estranged from his family after years of doing everything they could to get him sober. They still see each other here and then or on holidays but when they do, it's tense and uneasy. His relationship with Allison is the most tarnished right now. She hasn't been able to find it in her to forgive him, even after her daughter made a full recovery in the hospital. The sting of his mistake has lingered regardless.
