Hi! I saw that you had some headcanons for the Titans big three and was wondering what you thought each of their venus, mars, and mercury signs are??

i don’t know too much about these signs so i did have to do some research for this one!

mercury: the planet of day-day expression and communication. mercury by sign shows an individuals style of communication.

starfire: mercury in sagittarius. according to sources these people communicate in an optimistic, forward-looking manner and they defend freedom and justice religiously. they have a desire to learn about a wide range of topics (more equipped to believe and persuade) these people are fun loving and love to laugh, pretty easy to get them giggling (that is so star) they think very open minded- they’ll be the first to spot bias or prejudice in others communication but can be a little behind on their own & also struggle picking up subtleties in your own conversation. their optimism is both their strength and weakness & you’ll probably feel stimulated after a conversation with them. they make life feel better due to optimism but sometimes that optimism can be a little blind to reality. they learn best when given the freedom to think for themselves, when their interested in the topic and/or when the topic is fun. these people prefer to expand their mental horizons rather then with dry academics and cold hard facts. they have vision and therefore usually have very big ideas but it’s ‘probably wise to use tact when you see little holes in their arguments’ — as they mean well. they can be humorous as well as friendly.

robin: mercury in scorpio. people with this sign instinctively knows that life isn’t fair these people seek the truth in all that is hidden and undercover. they tend to probe, observe and focus their thoughts under this influence in order to find deeply buried motivations. thinking is inclined to be one-track minded, focused and even obsessive. scorpio communicators are passionate in their speech, sometimes even given to lecturing. absolutely driven to win, not just for intellectual points but simply coming out on top in general. they’ll support and defend anyone they care about and their energy in speech is very motivating. they are naturally suspicious, expecting bad intentions first. others might start wondering if their paranoid if they don’t channel interests into mental pursuits. they aren’t willing to share any sort of secrets about themselves.

terra: mercury in cancer. they remember almost everything from their own past, to your conversation two months ago. their memory is often skewed in the direction of emotion. these people remember the mood surrounding all the moments they have stored in their memory. this is because they ‘feel you out’ when you are talking to them. sometimes cancer communicators come across as if they are hiding something as they appear quite defensive and can take things really personally. retains a lot of information and learns best when they feel emotionally balanced. much faster at forming opinions and making decisions then they appear, because they listen so well to others. they can come up with information culled from their outstanding memory that others have long forgotten. they can be sensitive, withdrawn and thoughtful. their communication is to avoid arguments but they also can provoke arguments easily (they do this in a subtle manner then get hurt when others argue w them) also have less interest in what’s universal but more interested in what affects them personally and what affects the people around them. thoughts are clouded by emotions.

beast boy: mercury in aquarius. unconventional in self-expression, they tend to offer a different perspective then other people. usually delightful company as they mostly have something interesting to say and their perspective on issues can be delightfully unusual, quirky and surprisingly insightful. possess strange study habits and r generally resistant to following schedules though they can be surprisingly organised in their OWN way (their sense of order may not be entirely understandable by others) their sense of humour is often well-developed and/or unique, also people in this sign can be attracted to science and/or metaphysical pursuits (personally i agree with this for beast boy) communication and thought patterns are spontaneous, somewhat fragmented, reasonable and liberal.

raven: mercury in scorpio. sharp, profound and analytical yet also intuitive. isn’t shocked by much or at least keeps their cool when surprised, people with this sign have a psychological approach when analysing, deciding and studying or observing. their not afraid to go places mentally, they get to the heart of the matter or to the bottom of the line quickly, usually through instinct. if left to observe on their own, they do their best thinking, seeking the hidden layers of a situation. it’s not easy for them to take someone’s word for it they have to experience it themselves to draw conclusions.

venus: the goddess of love. represents two areas of life; money and love. rules our sentiments, what we value, and the pleasure we take in life. grace, charm and beauty are all rules by venus

terra: venus in pisces?. they can be rather confusing and hard to pin down as they feel their way through relationships. as much as they want to they find it hard to commit. you won’t always be able to count on them, they probably will stretch the truth once in awhile but they do this in fear that they might hurt you, and they can’t bear to cause you any heartache. they don’t always understand themselves, though they want a partner who does understand them mostly. can be unreasonably attracted to states of suffering and martyrdom, so they easily get into the role of saving somebody or being saved. their love is unconditional and they are unimpressed by status and love and accept their person for who they are on the inside.

(I really wish the writers of the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon would come out and say very clearly what their intentions with Terra were. Fans of the show can’t seem to agree on who she is as a person. Some claim she wasn’t written well enough at certain points, making her look like a worse person than she was, while others think she was intentionally written to look bad. I know the death of the author trope is a thing and we’re allowed our own interpretations, but it’d still be nice to know. Just a side note to those who relate to Terra, please don’t see negativity towards Terra as an attack on you. Terra is fictional and her canon is limited, so we kind of each have our own Terra. When someone doesn’t like Terra, they don’t like their Terra. Their Terra may be selfish and flighty while yours is hurting and scared. How they view Terra does not reflect how they see you. You are real. Terra is not.)
