Under the stage name “DJ Genesis,” Christopher Braithwaite plays music combining diverse influences. An accomplished business leader and performer, he heads the Miami-based contract DJ and music equipment company rental Epidemixx. Christopher Braithwaite also sits on the board of directors for multiple organizations, including the Miami Pro League.
A local basketball league active for six weeks each summer, the Miami Pro League pits eight teams against one another in a competition culminating in a “Battle of the Titans” championship game at the end of the season. Professional players routinely participate in the Miami Pro League to prepare for upcoming NBA competitions. Other Miami Pro League players include foreign basketball stars and high-level streetball athletes.
The 2022 season ended on August 26th with a Battle of the Titans that the Miami Pro League called the “best championship game in pro-am history.” It pitted Team Remy, which featured NBA players Collin Sexton and Justin Anderson, against the Taylor Sports Group, which featured NBA players Bam Adebayo and Josh Hart. The Taylor Sports Group emerged victorious to become just the second team in Miami Pro League history to pull off a three-peat.
