Old School 80s - via social media - "Aug 28, 1988: Kylie Minogue set a new UK record when her debut album, Kylie, became the biggest selling album by a female artist in Britain with almost 2 million copies sold."
On this day, 11th February, in 1963 The Beatles went into Abbey Road Studios in London to record their first LP, starting the three sessions that day at 10am and finishing before 11pm the same night. The whole album was recorded in a single day.
There's A Place was the first song they recorded that day (in 10 takes) and the last was a cover of The Isley Brothers' Twist and Shout.
My 1st eva album is OUT 😍 2 years to release it, 20 years since I started making it [there's a lot more music to come & evolving sound, this just tha beginning 🙇♀️🙏 #GENESIS
