I think what I hate most about the Teen Wolf movie is that there were at least three instances where Scoot was parenting Eli and basically stealing formative moments from Derek in an attempt to endear the audience to an Eli and Scoot relationship and prime us to accept Scoot adopting Eli….

Crime #1: growling in Eli’s face to get him to transform??? What dude? How does that even work when Eli faints at the sight of a transformation? And if it’s that easy then Eli should have transformed anytime Derek flashed his eyes. It’s so messed up because Derek would have LOVED to be there for his first transformation, even just partial, but it was ripped from him bc Scoot wanted to be Mr. Alpha badass.

And no, I don’t think Derek guiding Eli through his first beta shift makes it better because Derek should have had the opportunity to guide him from his very first shift and help him maintain that shift so he could do it at will.

And don’t try to tell me it was necessary because super strong and fast alpha wolves should be able to carry fifteen year old scrawny boys.

And super strong and fast alpha werewolves should be able to outrun their half dead ex girlfriend without breaking a sweat.

And don’t get me started on Derek being injured. Actually I will get started!

when you consider Derek was originally hurt bc Scoot didn’t just go after Allison with his fast werewolf speed or sniff her out with his super werewolf nose tells you all you need to know about Scoot and his connection to his werewolf. he won’t be a great wolf teacher BECAUSE HE DOESNT KNOW SHIT. And I am blaming him (for the reasons above) for Derek being injured in the first place, so Scott set the whole stealing Eli’s first transformation from Derek thing into motion.

Crime #2: Derek is basically begging Eli to practice with him, but Scoot is the one who gets to play with Eli?? No way. That’s stupid. I reject it

Crime #3: DEREK DIDNT GET TO WATCH ELI PLAY OR MAKE THE WINNING SHOT??? After he convinced coach to give him some time on the field?? Blasphemous.

ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING he was only prevented from doing so bc of some stupid shit that didn’t even really involve him?? Like none of that shit was his business???

It’s like Jeff is trying to make Derek seem like a bad parent who doesn’t know how to help his own son and Scoot is a natural born parenting genius. He posits all these moments of good parenting but gifts them to Scoot instead of Derek. Derek is trying and trying and instead of having even one scene where Derek and Eli aren’t being standoffish and frustrated, Jeffery attempts to give us some easy as pie, natural, buddy-buddy relationship with Scoot and Eli.

we were given crumbs for Derek and Eli’s relationship and it’s sick, really.

And I will never forgive Scoot for being tongue deep with Allison THE MOMENT Derek is BURNED TO DEATH (a crime punishable by life in prison)and RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS GRIEVING SON (have some class! You’re thirty or whatever!)

There are so many more crimes in this movie but I’m trying not to remember the movie at all, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Merry Christmas Eve to all who celebrate! As you read this, I am wrapping presents and doing my annual binge watch of ER.

Peter, Lydia, Cora, and Isaac were the only ones at home. They sat around the table and ate their bland dinner.

“This feels more like a double date than Christmas Eve,” Isaac said.

“You’re right,” Lydia agreed.

“It’s not awkward at all,” Cora added.

“Not at all,” Peter adhered.

Lydia cleared her throat. “What did you guys get Derek for his birthday and Christmas?”

Isaac finished chewing. “I got him noise cancelling headphones because this place is insane and an adult coloring book so he can relax and he can color with the kids.”

Peter set down his fork and looked next to him. “I reserved a time at the kid play center where they can go and jump into a pit of plastic balls. And reindeer pajamas.”

“You guys are nice,” Cora said. “I got him a lamb and a jar of pickles.”

The others all stared at her.

Cora shrugged. “What? He likes pickles!”

NFL Week 3

Week 3 is officially in the books and I’m ecstatic at the plays the wideouts made. None of the preseason top-10 cracked 100 yards receiving and that’s ok. But we did have Devonta Smith of the Philadelphia Eagles gain 169 yards on 8 catches and one hell of a Moss play that got it his team the ball at the one yard line. It was good watching the 3rd year pro and former Heisman Trophy Winner from the University of Alabama have a break out game. Especially after a week one performance that left Smith without a catch on four targets (two of which) I thought were catchable balls by wideouts standard. But reassurance from Eagles offensive coordinator (Shane Steichen) to involve Smith has paid off. Over the past two weeks Devonta has 15 catches on 19 targets for 249 yards and 1 touchdown. His big day catapulted him to number 11 in yards. If this was fantasy football he most certainly would have a green upward arrow…trending.

A.J. Brown and Stefon Diggs were the closest to have 100 yards and neither cracked top-20 in yards this week. And I don’t expect Brown to crack the list every week considering he plays with this weeks WOW (wideoutoftheweek). But he did manage 85 yards with a touchdown and caught an impressive streak over Kendall Fuller (Commanders) for a 38 yard gain. Diggs on the other hand settled for a decent day with 7 catches for 74 yards. The Miami Defense played him tough with cornerback Xavien Howard bringing an extra dose of physicality to the matchup. The two got involved in an altercation that drew a personal foul after Diggs confronted Howard for slamming him after the whistle. This lead the effervescent corner to pushing Diggs resulting in a 15-yard penalty.

Life for Davante Adams continues to be difficult after reuniting with his college quarterback Derek Carr. Over the summer after Adams was traded to the Raiders, he made comments saying he and Carr could become the next Jerry Rice and Joe Montana. Some of the stupidest shit I have ever heard. Yes Davante has been considered a top-5 if not top wideout by journalists the past few seasons. But Derek Carr has not been considered a top anything. And his play is trash. Adams got paid what he wanted to take a hit in production. And I’m sure he understands that without stats comparable to the top 5 after next season the Raiders will ask him to take a pay cut or trade him. GreenBay who has not won Super Bowl since the 2010-2011 season but always has a chance to play in the NFC championship with Aaron Rodgers at the helm. The great thing going for Adams is he knows how to run routes and can get open wherever he’s at. The sad part is not many in the league can get him the ball like A-Rod once did.

Next week I’m going to put it out my tentative top-10 list. Four games is not the sample size I need to help with my list, but it gives me enough plays to dissect each player’s game as I would when I coached my players. There are some bright spots to point out. The way Amari Cooper has resurrected in Cleveland has Dallas fans giving the side eye to Jerry Jones. Especially when you compare what Ceedee Lamb is failing to do. The rookie out of Ohio State Chris Olave and how he’s contributing to a Jekell and Hyde quarterback Jameis Winston. And how fifth year pro Courtland Sutton has made plays to have him currently 5th in yards with his new General Russell Wilson at the helm.

Absolutely love the minotaur brainrot occurring on Tumblr dot com rn. Please consider mated Sterek who are on one of their usual monster hunts. Word from the Hunter's mouth is that there's a monster in a maze in the New Mexico desert that needs to be put down before it finds its way out, and there's no way in hell Stiles is going to let hunters torture some poor beast that he and Derek can put down humanely.

Unsurprisingly, it's Derek who gets them through the maze. He can smell where the creature is, as well as the paths they've already taken. It still takes them a full day, but by the time the sun is beginning to descend behind tall sandstone walls they come upon the center courtyard of the maze.

There's not much there, a few ragged blankets, a couple of dry patches of grass, a muddy puddle, and a plush lamb that has stuffing spilling out of the seams. In the middle sits a creature with chubby little limbs, a dirty loincloth, and soft brown fur all over its head.

Stiles gasps. "A baby!" Before Derek can stop him he rushes forward, crouching down in front of the child. Before long he's standing up with the small beast on his hip, the baby's big brown cow eyes staring up at him in wonder. "Derek," he says, pleading.

Derek crosses his arms and simply lets this play out.

"We can't just leave him here. Look at him! He's so little. He's not gonna hurt anyone."

"And when his horns come in and he grows bigger than both of us?" Derek asks, as if doesn't already know what his answer will be.

"Who better to teach him control than a werewolf?" Stiles beams.

"And where are you going to keep him? We can't exactly put him in a stroller and walk through town."

Stiles rolls his eyes. "We live in the middle of the woods. It's not like I plan to send him to daycare. We can homeschool."

Derek raises his eyebrows. "Oh can we? You gonna teach a cow to read?"

Stiles huffs. "He's half man, too. You don't know what he's capable of."

"I'm sure you'll surprise me, like always." Derek leans down and picks up the stuffed lamb, brushing off some of the dirt. When he hands it to the baby his little fingers clutch at the matted wool. "Come on. We need to get going if we're gonna make it out of here by sunrise."

Stiles leans in close, kisses him on the cheek, and follows him out of the maze.

You were called the American Lamb. At the start of your life long killing spree. You thought the title was stupid. It made you feel weak and small. But you were everything but weak and small and just the opposite of your serial killer name.

The way your victim was killed did not show you were weak actually like you were a monster. The old you had your victims teeth and hair and ears and tongue and finger nails and toe nails made as a necklace or bracelet as a good job gift for the person who found the body. Now what you really did to the victim was even more disturbing. You peeled the skin off the person hanging it around the house. With the face you'll keep it in your bag

With only the organs and bone being left you use the longer organs as decorations in the house blood all over the house. And using the smaller ones placing them in food. You'll keep the skull washing it and putting it in your bag. Now with the other ones you put it in the furniture and liquids. If the person you killed had a dog or a cat you'll use one of the bones driving into their skull. Now if they had a rare animal you'll just keep it going on with the day. If they had a spider or hamster or birds or some fish you'll leave it there or set it free.

God forbid if the person you chose has a family you'll kill any age besides five and under. You'll kill them as a family letting the family members watch as you skin their family members and laugh about using the person face wearing it and acting like the person and scaring them. You usually take the dads and sons first. You wear the dads face as a mask and bring the whole family in the living room acting like a family before getting back into business. With the infants you'll just take them somewhere hella far away from their home and drop them off individually at peoples houses. Your kills became famous and you even beat Ted bundy at being America's serial killer. Which you're proud of. You have been doing this for five years and you're already the best at it being wanted for dead. Your killing pattern is killing a total of twenty people or families every two months. You loved your pattern. Since the name American Lamp you started leaving Sheep masks on your victims beds and for the kid you placed a toy lamp on their beds.

Okay enough of The American Lamb lets learn more about Y/n Morgan.

The first kill was your step mom. You stabbed her in her eyes after she screamed at you. You were fourteen. The cops took your father instead. You had no uncles no aunts grandpa and grandma wanted nothing to do with you. And your real mom died years ago during your birth. You went to foster home to foster home. Family throwing you out because you were "Insane" or a "Psychopath" You honestly didn't care I mean one family did have a good reason why. You killed the family dog with your bare hands. You met Derek when you worked a summer job at a dollar store. You two had gotten stuck with Cupids bows pretty hard since you two had love at first sight. You two started dating all of the way until he left to work for the FBI. You promised him that the next time you see you'll get married.

You move to Quantico after you "find" S/n and buy your own place and hunt looking for Derek. But you didn't stop all of the murders though. Once you two find each other you never break your promise You get married and you let Derek meet S/n That's two now. Which he was confused about like did you knock up a girl those years ago but you just laughed and told him you adopted. Now since you were a complete family you couldn't be happier and wrote to your parents about your new life. He introduces you to the team and they all love you. You two were on the top of the world until he found out you were the American lamb. Your killers were in the area now and a Lot of different FBI's from across the states grouped up and got you red handed.

Once the press found out half of America hated you and wanted you to get sent to death. The other half envied you and worshiped you like a god. You loved it all you loved all the attention. Of course your family's and past family's most said you were a good and innocent boy. Just a little mad or crazy in the head. The family of the dog you killed spoke out and said you needed to be in a mental hospital.

Derek and the team were all shocked about how the sweet and kind Y/n be a brutal monster like that. Derek was in denial refusing that his husband was The American Lamb so what he had blood all over him wearing the lame mask. Who cares! Once he finally let it in that how you were the killer he cried for days and weeks.

After court they sent you to a mental hospital and once you proved that you are well your going to be sentenced to death. If only they knew a group of your followers would bust you out...

When you first escaped it was quiet no one knew besides your followers. You only had a few hours until they check on you. You went to your house wearing a lamb mask hugging Derek signaling him to stay quiet. Derek softly cries into your shoulders holding S/n. You place a lamb mask on their faces you hold on Derek's hand leading him into the bus. With the group all wearing lamp masks. You sit in the way back holding Derek and S/n tight.

"Amen to a new life where only us sheep can survive" You say looking at all of the Lamps. They're all different races,genders and sizes. They all say Amen in union "And let my lamb S/n start a new generation of lamps Amen. They all say "All hail S/n" The driver starts the bus and drives off.

To a new Era of time. A generation of animals.

This is sorta smth i track regularly? but i have it all sorted by word count akdgjkajdg it's part of my progress tracker server w some friends. Adding words is the easiest way to track 'working on a project' so that's what i do! Hiatus Projects:

Universal Law of Gravitation: Chapter 1 WIP, significant outline - 3,080 - Sterek Lifetime fic. I wrote out this huge long super comprehensive timeline and got super caught up in it. It's supposed to be about how, despite their best efforts, Stiles and Derek just can't stay apart, so there are a ton of messy breakups and fights in between. I just never put together an actual proper Plot, so when i started writing it, i got SUPER bored. It has a playlist! and i made a bunch of pseudo-science chapter titles hehe A Fever You Can't Sweat Out: Chapter 1 posted, Chapter 2 WIP, significant outline - 9,911 - Sterek, Marrish, Scallison, post-canon AU, surprise mpreg! Similarly to ULG, i wrote out a huge big timeline and outline and got super nitty gritty into the details, but literally Chapter One i went Off Track and it just killed my motivation. It's HUGELY ensemble, and i picked out jobs and hobbies for like 12 people to all live in a big ol estate together. It also suffered from "world building but no plot", but i DID try to make a plot, it just. wasn't good haha. The entire concept is, Lydia gets pregnant which makes Allison baby crazy so she gets pregnant and Stiles wants a baby so, so bad, but he's dating dating/married to Derek and therefore would have to adopt or something, but he wants it so bad he magics himself up a contraception.
