I’m in love with her but also infatuated by him I’m a polygamist nymph prancing through an enchanted forrest of faces, but hopefully you’ll still want to hold my hand; kiss me goodnight and show me that not all humans are hurtful creatures. Maybe one day, night, or early morning We’ll drink too much coffee and fall asleep in each others arms from the crash. That’s the signature “friend date” coffee and conversation that leads to climbing trees and aspirations. From what our subconscious tells us while we sleep, to what we actually do during the day. A reflection of my idealized lover’s mystery and she placed a smile upon my lips causing me to clench my skirt and alter my body that gestures and communicates, “I’m shy, please kiss me.” To live the life of an a-romantic, craving romance is a contradiction but when you’ve been hurt so many times/ have given up on even the slightest smile from a coffee indulging stranger, such as yourself.. I guess you stop believing. Flannels become a safety blanket and every thing that person once showed you.. is a reminder of what you lost. There’s something in the way she moves and something in the way his eye brows raise while he smiles towards something I’ve said. Is it a crime to be drawn by two different people?
