At the end of every summer when fall comes, you see the leaves fall and pity my tree. All through winter you doubt what’ll become of me, yet come spring, your eyes gleam green with envy at the harvest summer brings

Same feet, same road Yet at the end used to wait A different world Seeking own sanity in others That's the disease Maybe if we never sold off simplicity Dethroned ourselves But that is the cursed 'then' I can't even outrun the day

I feel homesick for the person I can depend on, the one who will be my emotional support, my rock, my safe haven. I long for someone who will make me feel protected, someone I can run to on bad days, someone who will be my warmth and comfort. I yearn for someone who will love me unconditionally, despite knowing my flaws, someone I can cry to without fear of judgment. I crave someone who will be my light in the darkness, someone who will help me conquer my inner demons, someone who will give me the courage to face the world. I seek someone who will accept my dark side, even when I struggle to accept it myself, someone who won't make false promises. I dream of someone who will stand up for me, someone who will help me believe in love and fairytales again, someone who will help me heal my trust issues. I'm searching for someone I can call home.

Approach
Through the shadow of the wind
I see you
Drifting slowly through the darkness
gently caressing every surface
Steadfast as you move
with no final destination
I’m in awe of your determination
You approach
A slight touch of coldness
runs through my body
And as brief or as long as it is
you have touched me
Always and forever

I sing of soft longings On a local radio In fog Love used to unveil Come back in the afternoon With the manufactured Most honest joy First steps into paradise Last ones before the world came together

I don't want to die I just want to disappear as if I never existed
Fade away from the memories of those who care,
or maybe become particles floating in the air,
or maybe just dissolve in the water floating everywhere and getting nowhere,
or just become something with no existence,
I just want to fade away.

One way ticket
As the train pulls in
I check I’ve got the right station
for the second or third time
Yup, this is where I get off
No bags, no belongings,
I grab my winter coat
and exit the train.
Surprisingly a lot of people are stepping off onto the platform.
It’s cold, freezing and a bitter wind.
I check the station name again,
there’s a moment of doubt that surfaces
Yup, correct place I whisper to myself
A women, late fifties I imagine, asks me for help with her bags, that seems odd to me.
So much to carry, for what.
I look up and down the platform looking for another sign that I’m I the right place
The station suddenly becomes a hive of activity
I check the sign again.
Nope, all good. You’re in the right place
but why are there so many people here, I ask myself.
I’m confused, dumbfounded even.
Nothing seems right.
I reach inside my coat pocket
Read the ticket, check the sign again.
No mistake.
One way ticket
Loneliness central
