Fun yet weird fact, David Bowie’s Berlin trilogy (Low, Heroes, and Lodger) is somehow older than both Ciabatta bread and the Chupacabra myth. Low and Heroes were both Released in 1977, while Lodger was released in 1979. Ciabatta bread was invented in 1982 and the Chupacabra myth originated around 1995. :}

David Tennant as Davina.
I am watching YouTube and having a bit of a David Bowie fest.....and Boys keep Swinging video came up. I have not watched the video for ages although I listen to the track often, it's on Lodger, one of my favourite Bowie albums and very underrated. Well I realised I think David Tennant's character Davina reminds of Bowie in Drag in that video..who in turn was doing it as a homage to Romy Haag.... a trans woman who he had a thing with during the Berlin years.
David Bowie in Boys keep Swinging video.
Romy Haag...with Bowie in a few photos.
No one will tell me that DT wasn't inspired by DB, who was in turn by RH. I love seeing a full circle moment. Love my connections of joining the dots... lol.

Interesting article about Romy in link.
As a Bowie admirer I knew of Romy, but was also aware of some wonderful images /book that were taken in the 70s by a fabulous photographer Anno Wilms, who also published a book of the Lindsay Kemp Company who I worked with.

If this link doesn't work, go to the kemp one below and then scroll upwards to find section or downwards and it's near the bottom on the page. Stunning images.
Even DT's biblical times Crowley gives me that vibe too...lol

Welcome! Here’s how it’s gonna work:
First, we’ll go through each David Bowie studio album from his 1967 debut all the way up to Blackstar (including the Tin Machine albums) and determine which is the best song on each album. Then, we’ll take each of those songs and pit them against each other until we find the ultimate Number One Song. Then we’ll also find the ultimate Number One Song from all his songs on movie soundtracks and otherwise non-album songs and pit all of those against each other until we find the REAL ultimate Number One Song. It’ll be a lot of fun. It’ll also take forever.
Polls start on Friday, September 22nd, and will each last for a week!
All past, present, and future brackets will be shown under the cut!
