UGGGHHH IM SO UPSET THAT THE GUYS ARE JUST FREAKS IN SEASON ONE OF MYSTREET

i could hate so much on mcd aaron cause all that was so random with him and aph, and even if they did relationship building off screen, it wasn't shown well and felt out of place

and the other guys weren't.. well, they were weird, laurance and travis most specifically, but they cared and had more depth than just being pervs

AND THEN I START WATCHING S1 OF MYSTREET.

the guys are absolute creeps and barely have anything too them (as far as i can tell) apart from being a little too into aph or being super weird around women. granted, dante's getting better now that nicole's around.

they're just weirdos and aaron is ACTUALLY CHILL. (so aph, i get it)

In my mcd rewrite Dante is 16 as he's a freshly trained guard and the rest of them are all in their mid thirties roughly - given Garroth and Laurance are both head guards at that point and that takes years to gain that role (though I guess that's actually arguable because both of Laurance's dad's were Lords but I digress). Most of the other head guards are of middle age so I believe it's realistic for them to be mid thirties. Aphmau is also in her mid thirties just to bring closeness to the age with her potential love interests (cough, zoey, cough)

SO IMAGINE. Garroth and Laurance see Dante and they're just like, oh my god it's our child. I can imagine Laurance sat with Dante in their living quarters talking about how to woo the ladies like he did Lady Aphmau, obviously. Or Garroth teaching him fighting tricks that aren't taught in guard academy. Dante learnt to adapt them to his katanas and even 15 years later he still uses them. Basically them two giving Dante the family he lost, and giving him a new family. They know he's a guard and has responsibilities, but off duty they just let him *be a kid*. They don't know the details, they don't have ti know. All they do know is that this kid that has suddenly joined their little village and he has had a bad past, and they want to rectify what he didn't have.

Dante confides in Aphmau about anything and everything, truly seeing her as his big sister. Aphmau sees him as her little brother, and despite it being his job to protect her, any visitor who comes to Phoenix Drop who whispers about Dante is getting a mouthful and potentially being kicked out of the village because "What do you mean I can't do that Garroth? It's my village!" Aphmau also confides in him about falling for Zoey, and Dante absolutely acts as a wingman, being that suave younger brother he is having tea with Zoey, thinking he's so slick by going 'so, what do you think about Lady Aphmau?' But Zoey is centuries old, she knows every trick in the book and she caught on RIGHT AWAY. Though she did decide to humour him because she could appreciate his efforts.

Garroth and Laurance sneak around because they're scared that Dante won't be happy if he found out they are more than best friends. But eventually they find out he always knew and then they decide they're changing their roles to his dads because now they can act like a married couple and make dad jokes, which Dante *despises*

Basically they are all each others found family in times where they've lost their own, and they will always cherish the memories they shared. Domestic Fluff is something I loved in minecraft diaries and I wanted to develop that a bit more. Their bonds with everyone were so complex but not really shown much so its my sworn duty to claim that role.

What would Dante do if he ended up in Eastern Europe?

Well first, he'd be really confused as to how he even got there. Then he'd wander around and try to communicate with the locals. Being a demon, he can adapt and learn new languages pretty easily, so he'd learn the basics of the local language pretty soon.

Then he'd start asking around, looking for a pizzeria so he can taste some "authentic" pizza. When he doesn't find one, he'll get really disappointed. He could have sworn Europe was where pizza was invented! It takes a quick phone call from Vergil to remind him that Italy is in Southern Europe, not Eastern Europe, where he currently is. Before Dante can ask Vergil to portal him home, the line goes dead, meaning that Sir PizzaMan is on his own.

Dante continued to wander around, wondering where he can find transport to get home. Along the way, he runs into a sexy lady, who convinces him to get a drink with her at a local bar.

An hour later, Dante is hammered and alone; the woman long gone and the half demon having consumed 3x the amount of liquor required to knock out an average human man. He is now incapable of rational thought and starts dancing on the counter, even though no music is playing.

The other patrons stare in shock; they've never seen anyone behave like this in their lives. Eventually a couple of equally drunk thugs approach him and a brawl breaks out. Dante goes to his holsters to pull out his pistols, only to find they are gone. Turns out the woman from earlier was a pickpocket, and stole them from him when they were drinking together!

Absolutely floored, Dante trashes the bar and everyone in it before heading out in search of that little thief. Thanks to his half demon senses, he was able to track her down by following the diminishing scent of her perfume.

Eventually, Dante corners the thief inside a pawn shop, where she was haggling with the clerk. Terrified as to how Dante found her so easily, the thief surrenders her stolen goods and runs off before anyone can say anything.

Pleased that he has his weapons back, Dante turns and gets ready to leave, only to find that he has several police officers waiting outside, ready to arrest him for trashing the bar earlier. Still feeling kinda tipsy, Dante kicks open a nearby window and makes a break for it down the street.

With the police hot on his heels, Dante races through town until he spots an unattended scooter sitting on the sidewalk. He "borrows" said scooter and tries to use it to escape his pursuers, only to find that the scooter is remarkably slow.

Disappointed and frustrated, Dante runs away from the city and into the nearby woods, where he comes face to face with a brown bear, who looks very hungry.

4 weeks later, Nico spawns her van into the forest, and Nero pops out, followed by a very cranky Vergil. The two search the area for some time before catching wind of some smoke that seems to originate not too far from where they are. Believing it to be a signal fire, the pair speed towards it, soon discovering that Dante went and built himself a cozy log cabin in the middle of the woods.

As father and son marvel at the structure, Dante himself emerges from the cabin, looking like a lumberjack--in fact, he had been for the past month or so.

Turns out, he loves living in the woods so much, he didn't want to return at first.

Nero and Vergil ultimately convince him to return--but only after promising to buy him all the pizza he wants for 2 weeks.

MYSTREET HEADCANONS

Some headcanons that I thought up while laying sick in bed. Part 1/??

Travis, Dante, Laurence, Garroth

FRIENDSHIP

Dante and Travis tend to be the cause of chaos when they're together, of course not all chaos is linked to them- but it's still quite funny. Their friendship has known no bounds ever since they met.

To add perspective on this, Dante and Travis are most definitely the funniest people to be around, as they're usually up to mischief when it comes to the ladies.

Garroth and Laurence are definitely a more mellowed out group. They get up to shenanigans sometimes, but not nearly as much as Travis and Dante. They've been friends since high school, and it shows.

When the four of them are together, there is never a dull moment. Their personalities intermingle well, and they always have a good time.

THE MUSIC VIBES

Laurence is definitely a fan of musicals, and he loves Heathers the Musical.

Laurence listens to songs written by Ayesha Erotica, and similar artists. He feels like it's empowering, and honestly it fits his vibe, as the gossip girl friend.

He listens mostly to songs such as Where U @? by Ayesha Erotica, and XOXO (Kisses, hugs) by 6arelyhuman.

Garroth tries to get into musicals with Laurence to try and spend time with him, but he doesn't really understand the appeal of them. He's more of a movie guy, and he watches mostly action movies.

Garroth's taste in music, however- varies from day to day. Sometimes its a Classic Rock kind of day, other times it could be Country.

The artists that he listens to usually are when it comes to classic rock are The Beatles and Queen. For country he listens to artists Carrie Underwood and Luke Combs.

Travis partakes in plays, performs in musicals and has been a theater kid since his high school days. As for listening to musicals, he definitely loves listening to the Phantom of The Opera.

Outside of musicals, Travis listens to a lot of Indie Pop, Pop music and sometimes he dips his toes into the alternative genre if he's feeling froggy.

Some of the artists he would listen to include: Khai Dreams, The Front Bottoms, Weezer, Bastille, and Paramore.

Dante listens to a select few musicals, and his absolute favorite is Ride the Cyclone. Travis has tried to get Dante to perform in musicals before, but to no avail. Dante would rather watch them, than be in them.

Dante's taste in regular music, is definitely Alternative music. He listens to a lot of Pop music as well.

Some artists he listens to include: Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Set it Off, Get Scared, and Hollywood Undead.
