Ok I know how to curb my shopping habits and it’s literally…….. STOP TRYING TO IMPRESS OTHER PEOPLE! Or like fish for compliments or wear something that seemingly is unique so someone comments on it. I’m hyper fixating on how I want to present myself to other people especially moving to a new place where I can reinvent myself as well as figuring out how to give myself a good parting image. And at the same time am obsessed with presenting myself in a serious manner, like dressing in a casually cool way with brands that people can respect or wearing a niche brand for someone who knows knows and I’ve been following brands that take realllllyyy deceivingly good photos (Sézane im looking at you specifically) and make me think I can look as cool as the models (which hello my BMI & weird proportions is waaayy too high for that!). I really want to figure out a style that I can lock in and just stick with. But I’ve been bombarded with sales and my weak brain has been buying into the impulses! The dopamine hits and the anticipation of another package in the mail!! All of it!!
