A few gifs from the Alias Smith and Jones episode Something to Get Hung About. Heyes and Curry (as Smith and Jones, naturally) have been hired to bring an estranged wife back to her husband. Things are already complicated by interference from the man she's presumed to be having an affair with,Jim Stokely (Monte Markham). And they only get worse after she agrees to go home, when her husband is murdered and Stokely is arrested for the crime. However, the boys believe someone else was behind it all.

Apologies if any of these are out of order; I made them out of order and then gave them dumbass file names that made it even harder to sort them. Whoops.

watched netflix's im westen nichts neues with my dad and uhh. i dont think they could've missed the essence of the book any harder if they'd actively tried

#WHY would you situate the story at the end of the war like that?? it makes no sense!!!#the entire POINT of the book is that paul dies without it being a big deal #he dies in like. a byline #and it's report that 'all is quiet on the western front'#bc the death of a few hundreds of soldiers on a random day is exactly that in the war #it's not worth mentioning. AND THAT'S THE POINT OF THE BOOK #how the deaths of individuals don't matter anymore in a war like that and that shows how terrible it is #god if anybody asked. i have SO MANY ideas on how to make this book into a good movie #that perfectly encapsulates what the book is about!! aaaaa #how can you seriously make a film called 'im westen nichts neues'#and then explicitly make it abt the one moment that 'etwas neues' happens at the western front... what the fuck #curry rambles #it's reported*#ALSO THEY DID KATCZINSKY SO DIRTY WHAT THE HELL #me @ this movie: he would not fucking say that #im westen nichts neues #all quiet on the western front #AND ANOTHER THING. burning my face off w an extra spicy chicken tikka masala....curry i missed you sooooo much

québécois food is good but too many potatoes....the past 5 weeks were like most potatoes i have ever eaten in my whole life
