This past week was a windfall of seasonally appropriate movies for me, either due to preorders from months ahead being released, or sudden unexpected very good deals; in any case, this batch of posts is all spooky/spoopy blu-rays/4Ks (most recently acquired) 🎞️ 40 Days of Halloween! 🎃 Day 20: Arsenic and Old Lace 🦇 Not exactly spooky, certainly a bit spoopy, and definitely very funny. I love this dang movies, and for years and years bemoaned the fact that no one did a restoration/blu-ray release. In fact, I specifically wrote to Criterion collection a couple times suggesting that they should really do this one. Welp, they did, and their restored 4K digital transfer blu-ray looks better than it ever has (and about time!). Also, Cary Grant.
