Well, way down yonder on the Chattahoochee
It gets hotter than a hoochie coochie
How am I so cool when I grew up listening to this?!

Lyrics:
Well, way down yonder on the Chattahoochee
It gets hotter than a hoochie coochie
We laid rubber on the Georgia asphalt
We got a little crazy but we never got caught
Ah ha
Down by the river on a Friday night
A pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight
Talking 'bout cars and dreaming 'bout women
Never had a plan just a livin' for the minute
Yeah, way down yonder on the Chattahoochee
Never knew how much that muddy water meant to me
But I learned how to swim and I learned who I was
A lot about livin' and a litttle 'bout love
Well, we fogged up the windows in my old Chevy
I was willing but she wasn't ready
So I settled for a burger and a grape snow cone
I dropped her off early but I didn't go home
Down by the river on a Friday night
A pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight
Talking 'bout cars and dreaming 'bout women
Never had a plan just a livin' for the minute
Yeah, way down yonder on the Chattahoochee
Never knew how much that muddy water meant to me
But I learned how to swim and I learned who I was
A lot about livin' and a little 'bout love
Well, way down yonder on the Chattahoochee
It gets hotter than a hoochie coochie
We laid rubber on the Georgia asphalt
We got a little crazy but we never got caught
Well, we fogged up the windows in my old Chevy
I was willing but she wasn't ready
So I settled for a burger and a grape snow cone
I dropped her off early but I didn't go home
Yeah, that's right
Down by the river on a Friday night
A pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight
Talking 'bout cars and dreaming 'bout women
Never had a plan just a livin' for the minute
Yeah, way down yonder on the Chattahoochee
Never knew how much that muddy water meant to me
But I learned how to swim and I learned who I was
A lot about livin' and a little 'bout love
A lot about livin' and a little 'bout love

Dear Gus & Magnus,
Today was a long day. I wrote about it, if you want the finer details, but the here are the Clif notes: Darla and Bryan and I took photos of our people by the river in 28-degree weather this morning, had a nice lunch, packed up at the office and said our goodbye, took another photo at an FBO airport this afternoon, then raced to Denver International to catch a flight home. We were cutting it close, Derek and Sasha spent the day working from the hotel, then got to the airport early, but we still beat them onto the plane -- they were the last ones to board.
Shortly after we boarded, I was devastated to discover the book I planned to read was missing 33 pages in the middle, so I put it away and pulled out my laptop to write. I documented the day and I got it close enough to finished that I'll be able to read it at ARS Saturday night, I think.
Dad.
Little Rock, Arkansas. 3.2.2023 - 9.02pm.
